I called Alpine Gardens for help with my drip/mist line. The guy they sent out showed up 30 minutes early and when I told him he was early he didnt really say anything...no apology and no acknowledgement. He then went out to my back yard to look at the drip/mist line and had no suggestions to make that I didnt already know. In fact, he looked at a mister in the garden bed and told me it was a mister. While he was there, he called his supervisor who wasnt really helpful either. So I paid 95 bucks for nothing. I called the manager to tell her about this visit (left a detailed message after playing phone tag) and asked if they could at least give me a discount and nothing was ever resolved. Very frustrating and disappointing. Addendum 9/18/24 The manager contacted me today to let me know she will be giving me a full refund. I much appreciate her follow up and willingness to make things right.

As I sit here and read all the wonderful 5 star reviews of this company, I feel it necessary to give my honest review of what we have had to go through with their lack of follow-up of issues weve had since 2023. I will say their design of our landscaping is beautiful but thats were it stops. In December of 2022 we contracted through Jonathan Kitchens to have our landscape designed and installed the following Spring of 2023. The design was exactly what we wanted and turned out beautifully once everything was completed. Now here is where things go down hill. Several of the trees and plants seemed to be dying when installed but we were told it was due to shock and they will be okay in time. We took them at their word because landscaping is their business. Well, that didnt happen. One tree, that we paid quite a bit of money for, the Austrian Pine, had signs of dying when it was installed last year but we were assured it was due to shock. Well, It completely died and after many phone calls, many emails, it was replaced this year with a tree that was inferior to the original tree that was big and full. The new one looks like the equivalent of Charlie Browns Christmas tree. The bushes that were replaced, are now dead again and there are 3 trees (one in back and two in front) who continue to struggle. These trees struggled when installed last year but, again, we were told it was due to shock and they will be fine. Well theyre not fine and they continue to struggle. Then we find out Jonathan is no longer with Alpine and we were sent Cody to assess the situation, who we found to be rude but hes done nothing but give us lip service and, who acted as if we were just people who complain when he had to replace the Austrian Pine. When we pointed out that the replacement was nowhere near the same as the original, he acted annoyed. I suppose we shouldve been grateful that they even replaced the tree. The biggest and most critical issue is the sprinkler/drip system that has caused constant flooding especially on one side of our home. On the other side of the house the grass is dead! Once again, after calling and emailing, Cody finally came out to assess the situation where he outlined how he would have the problem solved. Okay, that sounded perfect and we waited, and waited and after again having to call and email, someone came out, who never introduced himself, who didnt seem happy to even be there and who brought two women to help, who clearly werent sure of what they were doing. All they did was move the drip system hose higher up on the one side, and left. It did nothing because the flooding still continued. Through extreme frustration we ended up having to call another company to come out and assess the situation and, lo and behold, within 10 minutes they were able to determine the problem and scheduled time to come out and fix it, which they did! It took another company 10 minutes to determine the issue, then fix it, something that it took Alpine a year and still didnt fix it. The problem was a broken line, the drip system was missing emitters, and some of the emitters were pushing out too much water, as well as the wrong sprinkler heads were installed in some places and were not positioned properly. So, can I give Alpine 5 stars across the board? No, I cannot especially when we had to spend additional money to another company to fix an issue that Alpine shouldve fixed a year ago and now we are having to spend even more money to replace the trees and bushes that have died or are dying. As I said in the beginning, their designs are beautiful, but the follow-up when it comes to solving issues is seriously lacking. Maybe its the crew we were assigned to, but still the followup service we were given as opposed to the initial money we spent, was poor. To say we are more than disappointed is an understatement and we will never recommend them to anyone.

Our project manager, Evan Moore, was attentive, knowledgeable, and always available to answer our questions throughout the process. Angel and his crew also did an outstanding job of going above and beyond to complete our project. They transformed our dirt lot from a blank cavas into a beautiful backyard oasis that exceeds our expectations in every way possible. In addition, we have enjoyed working with Kody from warranty to ensure all of our new vegetation gets off to a healthy start. My backyard used to be weeds and dirt. Alpine worked their magic and completely transformed it. They helped me create a plan and execute it. It was especially nice to work with their local nursery so I could see and choose all the plants to really bring the vision to life. They will also help select plants for you if you dont know where to start. Just make sure to communicate your preferences each step of the way to make sure the final result is exactly what you envisioned. Everyone I had contact with was very nice and helpful. The workers were so great and efficient. I was most impressed with how clean their work was, and appreciated the updates along the way. The whole process was completed much faster than I expected. They even updated the sprinkler programming to make sure the lawn and all the new plants are getting what they need. Even now that installation is complete, they have come by a few times to make sure sprinklers are working and everything s looking good. Alpine didnt just install some grass and a few plants. They took an eyesore of wasted space, made it functional and unlocked potential. I feel like I gained a whole new room and square footage to my house. My kids and I actually want to be outside all the time now! It was so hard for me to commit to such a big project, but now that its done I can confidently say it was the best decision!

This project has been complicated and time consuming, yet Alpine has always listened and quickly responded to any questions Ive had. Called their office on Thursday 5/30/24. Spoke to a very pleasant lady. I recently purchased a home in Wellington where Alpine Gardens installed a sprinkler system a few years ago. The system has some issues. I thought since this company installed the system they would be the best place to get to do some repair and maintenance. I called three times and was always told that my information would be passed along to someone named Tori. It has been a week and no return phone call. I just called this morning to tell them I would be seeking out another company to help me with my situation. I understand that it is a busy time of year. But shame on them for not being able to at least return a phone call. Unprofessional!!! I would rate them a zero if this system would let me.

In just 9 days, our grassy front and side lawns were transformed into a very impressive xeriscaped paradise, the envy of our neighborhood. Evan Moore of Alpine Gardens designed a gorgeous plan incorporating waterwise perennials and bushes. Jose and his crew of 3 worked tirelessly doing everything from removing the sod, installing a drip line, building a wall to planting 56 plants and making sure everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. Kody of Alpine has checked on our plants every other week to make sure theyre growing as they should and have replaced some that were not. We are extremely pleased with Alpine Gardens and would highly recommend them.

Alpine Gardens did a major landscape upgrade project for us. They were very professional and did a great job. Everyone was very friendly and willing to do what it took to make sure we got what we wanted. What was especially important to us was their willingness to mix what we already had with new drainage, berms, boulders, trees, and grass to make our landscape look completely different. Evans blended design was exactly what we were looking for and the company followed through on making it happen. He was very responsive and great to work with.

Had to move on since there are many Landscapers with better reviews that will come and quote the work AFTER inspecting the site, with no consultation cost. Evan Moore worked very hard on our landscape template and made the changes we wanted. Angel and his crew removed the old sod and put in the river rock, mulch, large boulders and plants. Since our landscaping was in the back yard, much manual labor was required. Many wheelbarrow loads of old sod were wheeled out and many wheelbarrow loads of material were wheeled in. Ive had good and bad experiences with Alpine, but they are fine. They have been reliable and fix anything they get wrong. Alpine does a better job than most these other clowns playing landscaper and their pricing is pretty average, maybe a little high, but they wont leave you hanging or dodge your phone call when they screw up and thats important around here. Alpine would be a fine choice for anyone looking to have landscaping or sprinkler work done in this area. Regardless of whether you go with Alpine or another landscaper I recommend you do some research on the company, their reputation, and their pricing - its in your best interest; you dont want to get taken for a ride. I have to say that we had a meh experience at first, with the person assigned to us, but the way Heidi responded to our complaint completely went above and beyond how I had even hoped Alpine would react. First of all, they responded immediately, taking 100% ownership for the experience that we had, and then asked what WE wanted out of the interaction. When we asked for our money back, Heidi immediately replied with a refund and our check was in our mailbox within a week. When alI was said and done, we couldnt have been happier with the result.

The experience was great! Kris really brought our wishes to a reality. We love our backyard. The crew was helpful and friendly and very responsive to minor tweaks along the way. I will wholeheartedly recommend Alpine to others! The only slight disappointment was getting the project finished and buttoned up. It took a bit of checking in to see when things would be tidied up and finished. I never doubted it would get done but really did not like having to send texts asking. I understand this is a very busy time of year so I certainly understand - this is just feedback. Again, all things considered, we are thrilled!!! Thank you!

Brandon VanNest from Alpine designed and supervised the build of our flag stone patio, pergola and wood burning oven platform. We love the custom look and feel of the completed project. All our neighbors are impressed and love to come visit especially when we are making homemade pizzas! We call the patio the best room of our house. I recommend Brandon and Alpine to anyone wanting to turn their backyard into outdoor living space.

Alpine has created a new landscape surrounding our house. Jeremy is an artist of rock placement. He built beautiful retaining rock walls and pathways using very large rocks as well as a lovely water feature.

The staff are amazing! First of all they FIXED THE PROBLEM THE SAME DAY! They called me back and got my urgent sprinkler situation on the schedule the same day. The technician Gerod who was assigned to our project was professional, took my concerns seriously, knowledgeable, affordable, did the job for the best price, and educated me about how to use the system moving forward. Being a new homeowner and not having a clue why my sprinklers weren t working, I was completely at their mercy and they didn t take advantage of my lack of knowledge. You can trust this company!

We had Alpine Gardens re-do part of a flagstone patio and add some drainage to our home. They did a wonderful job. Ryan and his crew worked very hard and was meticulous about keeping the area clean and minimizing damage to surrounding areas. Kris has very good crews that are managed very well.

Kris Nylander had a great design that followed our desires and it fit our house perfectly. The installation crew was great and followed all of our suggestions for placing hardscape and plants without complaints. Follow up on issues that needed fixed were very prompt and courteous.

I had Alpine Gardens install my backyard landscaping last summer and they were great. The installed a sprinkler system, planted a tree, put in the sod and did rock and paving stones around the sides of the house as well as putting in a pergola over my back patio. Evan Moore was the project manager for this job and was fantastic to work with- he was very timely in his communication and responded to all of my questions and requests. Alpine got me in on their schedule to get my work completed even though I requested the work done later in the summer when they were already pretty busy. Everyone at Alpine with whom I interacted was very professional. I have had my yard in for about a year now and am very pleased. I also enjoyed the complimentary sprinkler blow out this past fall.

It is rare these days, especially in busy Fort Collins, to email a company, etc. and have a knowledgeable and friendly person/employee respond pretty much immediately to questions, requests, concerns on a daily basis. Evan Moore was outstanding on email and in person both times when landscaping and fencing our new house in Wellington. The quality of the sod is of the best sod: thick and lush and the trees that were planted are all thriving. The red mulch looks great and the new fence is done to our satisfaction. The crew led by Austin was efficient, friendly and asked for my input all the time. Austin is one hard working individual and so is his crew. I highly recommend Alpine Gardens for all your landscaping needs!

We have used Jack Fetig and Alpine Gardens for our houses new landscape. We looked at several companies and went with Alpine Gardens due to their reputation, time in the community, and our meeting with Jack Fetig. The initial product was great and we were very pleased with an outstanding landscape. Jack went through several versions and variations with us pre-install, and spent the time to educate us on our options and expected costs. The install was smooth with excellent, considerate and friendly workers. Further, Alpine Gardens has stood by their work and assisted us and educated us with issues that have arisen both related and unrelated to their work. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them as a quality, reliable and honorable business.

Unfortunate I have to write a bad review as I really dont like too, but Alpine Gardens is not a reputable company. Personally had a bad experience with them on two different occasions and am compelled to give a 1 star review. They only care about big business and big contracts.....thats a fact.

Have Alpine doing landscaping for new home and very easy to work with and once have them on board for the project, can let them do their thing and not worry about what is going to happen. Worked with Kris Nylander as landscape designer and responsive to communication and wants and have had no problems so far with landscape and irrigation and waiting for spring to finish sod and planting.
