This summer, I had some yard problems, so I called McAdam. Despite my disappointment at learning that they didn't offer home turf maintenance services, they still came by and provided a free diagnosis of the problem I was having with my lawn. They also gave me some advise that proved out to be excellent for getting my grass back on track. I like taking care of my grass myself, and I only needed some expert guidance. And that's exactly what I got. excellent client experience.

Before Fourth of July holiday needed just two rolls of sod. I was told that there are not any but I signed up for Tuesday after the holiday delivery. When I was leaving Kristi stopped me and told me that there are two rolls available in the shed. Purchased them and immediately installed them in my yard. I should not have picked them up; I should have waited for the fresh sod. The grass “died”… Called Kristi and after several phone calls I was able to pick up two replacement rolls for no charge! Kristi handled the situation professionally. She knows how to make things right, how to satisfy customer. I will deal with McAdam Nursery in future, if any gardening needs arise

Also, he is very knowledgeable about plants, trees, landscaping. He set me up with Raymundo and Pablo to landscape my yard - they did an incredible job! Overall, an amazing experience!

I bought sod from McAdam and the whole process was made very, very easy. No hassles, great advice, friendly assistance. They’re very organized and oriented towards precision as far as timing and actual fulfillment. Any questions you may have to the nursery, ask for Calvin. He’s very experienced and very friendly.

Called for a quote and someone was supposed to come out within the week. Two weeks passed and I called again. Someone eventually came out and said they would put together the estimate. Well, that was over a month ago - never got it. Yeah….I guess you want my business. No thanks! I guess I should have realized that after it took over two weeks to get someone to come out for the estimate.

McAdam is simply Second to none. My work with McAdam Landscape was simply phenomenal. With heavy rains I consistently had a significant lake and swamp in my back yard. They helped me come up with a smart and cost effective drainage solution. We worked through the solution for some time, tending to every comment and question I had. When the crew came to do they work they were excellent. We walked through the project to make sure we were aligned, they checked in along the way at key points in the project, they came up with additional little improvements along the way to make our original idea even better or to solve for problems, and they cleaned up to perfection. Honestly, the work is so good, you can’t even tell half my lawn was dug up to install drain tile—they even preserved the grass perfectly. I’ve worked with A LOT of contractors and landscapers, and McAdam blew me away. I’m thrilled with the results.

Their awesome landscape designer, Lois, destroyed my watermelon vines because "there was some viney thing growing," she apparently didn't know watermelons GROW ON VINES! They were 8ft. long! On top of that, they were in an area that WAS FENCED OFF WITH TOMATOES AND PEPPERS! The plant was clearly marked with a BURPEE ICEBOX WATERMELON tag yet were still cut. Why is that? Is the ability to read not a requirement at McAdam Landscaping??? A tomato plant was also bent in half. You guys going to replace the plants? Also, some indigenous, butterfly-friendly, plants were removed despite the wishes of the property owner. Maybe time for new aptitude tests, English reading and writing tests, and basic garden plant identification coloring books pre-employment? TIP TO PROPERTY/HOMEOWNERS: If you're planning on McAdam coming to do some work for you and have existing plants that you don't want destroyed, make sure to mark them with bells, red tape, flashing lights, etc. Garbage work, thanks a ton, guys.

They also provided what turned out to be great advice to get my lawn back on track. I enjoy maintaining my own lawn, and just needed some advice from a professional. Which was exactly what I received. Great customer experience.
