I called suncrest and spoke immediately and directly to Troy.. He came out the same day and thoroughly looked at the project of replacing the back lawn with artificial turf. His team was amazing. They were extremely kind and considerate as well as professional and paid attention to every detail. Troy kept me appraised throughout the project. I could not be happier and intend to call him for all of my landscaping needs. It was like working with family. They were so helpful.

Suncrest Landscape recently resolved some major drainage issues we were having. We purchased a new build last year and have a lot that is still predominantly empty. After installing a concrete patio and artificial grass around the house, we still have two large areas of dirt at the back and side of the yard. The storms this winter exposed some large drainage problems that needed to be corrected before moving forward with any future additions to these areas. We reached out to Suncrest and scheduled an appointment to have the yard assessed. Troy was extremely accommodating, when I had an unexpected day off, and made time to come out before our scheduled date. His estimate of the work needing to be done was honest and very competitive. Troy was kind enough to offer some insight into other areas of the yard I had questions about as well. Troy and his crew arrived promptly the morning of the job. They upgraded all of our existing drains, placed by the builder, that had failed to handle the amount of rainfall experienced this winter. In addition, they also installed two new drain points, at trouble areas of the yard, and connected them to the existing system leading out to the street. Troys crew were exceedingly efficient and detailed in completing the job. Everything was trenched and placed before midday. While Troy walked us over the completed job he noticed the small outlet points at the front of the house had inadequate flow. He assured us he would have someone from his team come out and quickly upgrade them next time they were in the area. The next day I received a call from Troy to let me know someone would be swinging by the house and the front ports were upgraded when I got home that evening. We had flooding and drainage issues after replacing our retaining wall and side gate by a fence company. Troy and his team were able to maneuver a very tricky narrow path between the retaining wall and side gate to replace our damaged corrugated drainage pipes. They were extremely meticulous and efficient. Not one single post or gate board was damaged. They were also very thorough in cleaning up the work area after completion. We were truly impressed with their quality of work, especially their attention to details, and highly recommend them for all your landscape projects. If we can give Suncrest Landscape 10 stars we would.

These guys are awesome! They just completed the 2nd project for us (the last one was 7 years ago, and it still looks awesome), and they are super efficient, professional, and very easy to work with. Cant say enough great things about them. Troy really knows his stuff, and I wouldnt hesitate to hire them again. We had them remove our old backyard lawn (mostly weeds) and install new sod. They treated the weeds to kill the roots then came back the following week to take out the old lawn, add new topsoil and fertilizer, and install new sod. Done and completely cleaned up in one day (about 7 hours). Amazing job!

I have been working with Troy for about 15 years. I keep coming back because he is reliable, honest and fast. He first did my landscaping in 2007. We had a huge backyard and a small budget. He worked with me to get it done where we were both happy with the price point. In 2019, we bought a new house and I asked Troy to landscape the backyard. He poured concrete, bark, trees and bushes. It turned out great! Then in 2020, I asked him to create steps and extend my driveway and re landscape the front yard. Again it turned out great! Most recently we wanted to add a lot more trees and shrubs to the backyard so Troy came out, worked with me. Afterwards, I wanted even more plants and he said of course well plant more. My backyard looks like a dream. Its so beautiful. I love working with Troy. He listens and does such a good job. The best part is that hes fast and will do exactly what he says.

We just had another great service provided by Troy and his team from Suncrest Landscape. I ve been using Suncrest for almost 9 years to do what I call tuneups on our backyard. This has included removing and adding plants as well as redoing our backyard irrigation system. Troy always responds quickly to my requests for service and finds a way to quickly fit me in for the small jobs we want done. Today his team took care of adding additional irrigation for us, and because the job turned out to be smaller than he thought, he even discounted his original estimate! Sometimes it s hard to find people that you can trust to do a great job at a competitive price, but I have found that type of service from Troy and his team!

This is the second time we ve had Troy and his crew out to do landscaping for us. Our most recent project involved the installation of new sod, irrigation, and planter bed prep in our backyard. Troy and his team transformed our backyard into a little paradise in just three days. His prices are reasonable and his team are great to work with. We would definitely recommend them.

If you need any work done you should definitely get Troy and his crew, Dale and Felipe to do it. I dont know if I should call them magicians or miracle workers. I had a major drainage project done. From the backyard along the side of the house to the front sidewalk. Troy said it was major surgery and when they were done you wouldnt even know that they were there. That is 100% true My yard looked better after they left then when they came here this morning. I was looking at my camera footage. I do not know how they got everything back the way it was. We are talking about landscape rock, pine bark and river rocks all put back in their place. I am so glad that someone recommended Troy and the Suncrest Landscape Company on Nest Door Neighbor website. He was the only company that I called. I am so extremely happy with the end results. They were here for over 8 hours and it was worth every dollar that is cost me. I am surely going to recommend them.

The service from the beginning was excellent - Troy was prompt and responsive to our questions and he was even able to fit us in ahead of schedule. We shared our general vision for the yard and he provided great advice and guidance. He helped us pick out beautiful new plants, and his crew built a nice rock wall out of the (previously pretty ugly) rocks that had been dug up in our backyard from other work. The best people to work with, hands down! I m lucky to have found Suncrest Landscape. After having a few other people come give us quotes, we found Suncrest through Yelp. Troy met with us quickly, LISTENED to our needs, provided advice, and DELIVERED an A+ project. We hired Suncrest to assist with drainage, add a concrete patio, concrete fire pit pad, extend our concrete driveway, add a concrete sidewalk, plant a lawn, and do several (2 dozen?) plantings according to our general layout, and to bark a stretch of the yard. Suncrest was a pleasure to work with- truly good people. And very professional! They kept their work area clean and organized and cleaned up any residual dirt etc from the project work. They left the property cleaner than when they arrived. We hired them for a second project - a very large trellis and they again did a fab job. We also had a small issue with one of our sprinkler valves (user error I m sure), but Suncrest responded quickly to our call and came and fixed the issue without fuss. I highly recommend this company!

If I could rate 20 stars, I would. This is one of the most honest contractors I ve ever had the pleasure of working with in the lovely world of homeowning. Over the years I ve seen my fair share of shady, slick talking contractors who prey on folks who are not as knowledgeable. The greater Sacramento area is infested with them unfortunately. However, Suncrest Landscape is a truly cream of the crop outfit. Troy and his group helped me resolve two major drainage issues outside my home by installing a large French drain, many surrounding drainage basins and a sump pump. Not only was Troy honest about what was necessary to solve my issue, but he was reasonable and followed up on his work thereafter to ensure that I was satisfied. He even discounted my charge from his original estimate since some of the work was less extensive than originally anticipated. That s honestly a first for me. Like I said, this is rare gem in our community and deserves our support so we can keep them flourishing in our area.

Troy and his crew did a great job on our backyard. Communication is timely and they were able to fit us into their busy schedule to complete the work fast (only 2 days)! Weve had drainage issues in our backyard since we moved in and Troy was confident in what needed to be done to fix the issue. They also ripped out the lawn, re-graded, added more drains, cleared out all of the gardens (we wanted a clean slate) and laid down new sod. And for a reasonable price! We did have more drainage issues after a rain storm rolled through and Troy was very prompt in replying to emails. He was out the next morning to fix it.
