Like a lot of folks, I have gone through a landscaping company or two. I feel lucky to have found A Cut Above Landscaping. I submitted an inquiry online and quickly received a call back from a pleasant Rebecca. She efficiently gathered my information and set a time for the guys to come out. I got an automated text that said when and who would be at my house. My project ended up needing Bobby, Justin, and Joseph. They showed up on time and worked hard. Bobby worked at my place most of the day to repair a badly neglected irrigation system. My sprinklers have never worked better - every head aimed and adjusted without waste. Justins knowledge of plants and design impressed me. He made excellent suggestions and helped bring a wow factor to my yard. Joseph got me setup for maintenance and routine care. This company is not a mow and blow operation, but a real landscaping company that is staffed with professionals. I appreciate their attention to detail and follow through.

A Cut Above provided drainage solutions in a difficult area in our landscape that bordered a green belt area. It will not only provide the solution we needed but looks beautiful with new zoysia grass and a beautiful flagstone walkway. They also took down several trees, planted some new ornamental Japanese maples for us, cleaned up an area at the back line of our property and planted azaleas to give a cleaner look to camouflage the undergrowth there. They did extensive work on our existing irrigation to make sure it would properly maintain our plantings and they are taking care of our lawn maintenance. They are wonderful in communicating, very professional, and dependable. We highly recommend them and are so pleased to have their expertise and care of our landscape! We just purchased a home in Pace. It was obvious that the irrigation was in need of some work as it hasnt been in use for some time. We searched for an irrigation company, I called 3 and A Cut Above returned my call the same day. I scheduled for someone to come out. The tech(Bobby) came out when scheduled. Since we just moved in we were also in the process of having a gazebo installed unannounced. I had to reschedule the work. The next week the tech (Bobby) came out again. I apologized to him for not being able to let him look at the system last time he arrived. Bobby worked on our system, adjusted, and replaced some heads. Once he was done he took the time to explain everything he did and showed us how to work the system. I highly recommend A Cut Above.

Bobby came and did an awesome job. He spent some time troubleshooting the sprinkler system and determined he needed to replace the valves which he did. All in all a great job.

I called Dillan at the last minute to reinstall the roof drain underground piping before a new pool deck was installed. Bobby showed up the next morning and did an OUTSTANDING job reinstalling all the drainage lines in one day under some very hot sun! The quality of his work was outstanding. I highly recommend this company.

This company is horrible. They sold me a plan that sounded great, but a little high at nearly $400 a month. I agreed cause of reviews. Yet all I got was 4 grass cuttings, for $92.50 a time. My yard is small, I never paid more than $60 a cutting. They dont return calls

Im so glad I found A Cut Above! Dillon Seal, the owner was prompt and businesslike in giving me a quote and even quick trimmed my yard so we could have the great-grandchildrens Easter Egg Hunt. Looking for them to begin work this week!

We had used at least 3 companies prior to A Cut Above and put up with poor communication, no-shows, and our lawn being hacked up. A Cut Above has been the exact opposite. They are: > Extremely communicative and responsive - Ive never had an issue with getting a hold of them and they are always able to get back to be right away when I email. > Reliable -they rarely have to change the schedule, but when they do, they always notify us well in advance > They do a great job - our lawn looks amazing! Weve also had them work on our irrigation system which had an issue where it would occasionally get stuck on. Two other companies had claimed to have fixed it but it would always come back. A Cut Above took care of it. It has been over a year and no issues! They have also been extremely flexible working with us and our tenants who live on the property. When our old irrigation controller crapped out, they were able to work with our tenants to get the new on installed and set up. Lastly, I like how I can look at all of our invoices online which really helps during tax time!!

Wonderful experience, professional, went beyond what was expected

If you need landscaping, drainage, a new garden stop looking and just call Justin. We had a pool put in, and after staring for weeks at sand and dirt with a partially torn up front yard Justin gave us exactly what we wanted and redid the front yard and garden to match the back. He even used our leftover pavers from the pool to make a pad for our trash bins. Our new plants survived a nasty storm the day after they were planted, too! Thank you Justin!! We love everything.

They go the extra mile to help even when it isn t technically their job. We have an extra panel to our big dog pen that has been l leaning on a post at our patio. My husband is disabled and I ve not been able to get help to get it to the storage shed. They moved it for me and trimmed all the weeds that had been growing up behind it.

Great experience with this company. Easy to work with. Timely. Professional. Crew showed up at 7AM. Friendly and respectful. Dug out old grass. Brought in dirt and laid 7 pallets of sod by 3pm. A Cut Above did a great job on my backyard renovation. The guys were all respectful of my property, and they worked very hard thru the horrible humidity. My yard had nothing but dirt and leaves, and my yard was uneven. I had a very nice paver patio put down plus landscaping plants and bushes that will bloom at different times during the year. They finished the project and covered everything with pine straw. The end result is a natural woodsy space I can enjoy and cook out. We hired A Cut Above Landscaping to add a huge concrete patio extension with a sidewalk, sitting wall, and retaining wall. We also had our side yard re-graded, irrigation reworked, and sod installed. Justin gave us great ideas that we hadn t thought of and the crew brought those ideas to life. James and Michael built the sitting wall and retaining wall. They did a great job on the whole project. The team paid attention to the details and it shows in the final product. We will definitely hire this company for our next landscaping project.

We needed our yard improved to clean out weeds and such. A Cut Above then sodded those areas and also existing bare spots. Very professional and went above and beyond to make our yard a big improvement. Also redid the existing flower bed with additional plants and stone border.

I dont know who you guys sent to the corner of godwin and community drive today in pensacola, but all of their trucks are parked in the middle of the only sidewalk. I was trying to turn left onto community from godwin and i couldnt because their big trucks made a whole blindspot for me on my right so i had to turn right and then turn around. Not to mention it being the only sidewalk so god forbid a handicapped person tried to travel down that only sidewalk. If i would have turned left and a car hit me you guys would be the first people i would sue. Teach your team common sense. Huge liability,and disrespect to the handicapped community. Do better. This was in my neighborhood by the way.

Now my backyard looks like a park! We love it! Took out an area of old sod in front yard and resodded. Cleaned up everything when they left. Asked three different local landscaping services for estimates - all came out but only this one returned an estimate. Got me scheduled fairly quickly for erosion mitigation and designer landscaping. Crew came out on time, introduced themselves, checked with me to ascertain the work I wanted, and got to it. They all worked well together and were very efficient. Scheduled for 3 days, they were done in two including installing additional sprinkler heads. They cleaned up afterwards and everything was put back in order (fence panel replaced, sod restored) when completed and the rest was up to me (keeping the plants and sod hydrated). I did experience a couple of glitches after but they were remedied the same day I reported them. Dillon was in constant communication with me regarding scheduling, plant selection, and resolution to my glitches . Charles and the crew ( I remember Keenan, Shane and Garrett but there were at least 2 others I m missing ) should know how much I appreciate each of them and respect the very hard work they do. Will not use them again and would not recommend to anyone. Lack of attention-to-detail and very poor customer service made this a 2-star experience. Having issues with a paver patio they installed a few months ago and received no response to multiple requests for assistance. Now we have to have another company come out to fix the problems.

Very professional crew, hard workers and great senses of humor. AND, their work is exceptional. We used A Cut Above to tear out an old wooden patio and replace it with a stone patio. Dillon was quick, professional, and came up with the entire design. I didn t have a vision of what I wanted beyond low maintenance and the team delivered. I m very happy with the results and I think it changes the whole vibe of the house, making it more inviting and homey. Plants on one side of my yard died, but Dillon came and replaced at no additional cost.
