My husband called to see if we could reduce our monthly bill. Brey (she spelled it for us to make sure we got it right...out of sarcasm) immediately said, we dont do that! My husband has called every year and there has always been a courteous person except for today. She was extremely rude then says were not listening to her and proceeds to tell us the best they could do is a small discount. We cancelled our account after being customers almost 10 years. Id rather give someone else our business that is respectful.

I had enquired online regarding their service, which I was highly interested in. Since then I have answered 5 calls from them and have had 15 missed calls.. it has been less than 3 days. Terrible experience and will not be using them because of the experience with their reps and amount of calls received. I have had 3 different reps call me all competing against each other. I have had them tell me they won t make commission if I don t sign up today, after I told them I wasn t ready to decide which service yet. I have had the same lady call back within a number of hours after I told her I wasn t interested any longer and to remove my number. Terrible customer service and definitely lost a client. DO NOT GIVE YOUR CELL PHONE NUMBER TO THEM.

TruGreen lived up to their policy of customer satisfaction when they responded to my request for a re-application. Their first application of fertilizer was soon followed by heavy rain events. I was concerned the fertilizer was washed away on my sloped areas and flushed beyond the root zone in flat areas from the copious amounts of rainfall. They followed up with a no charge application a few weeks later. Thank you TruGreen!

We had someone come out to our house in Holly on 5/4 to have a mosquito defense application. Specialist named Frank, truck 105921. He did a really great job. My grandma is living with me at the moment & she just got diagnosed as being in early stages of dementia. We have a couple of mini ponies in our backyard, She noticed that he was checking them out and she stepped out on our backporch to talk to him about the ponies. I really appreciate him taking a couple minutes out of his probably busy day to listen to her talk, she enjoyed having a new friend to talk to even for a moment. I must say without our service member Branden, it wouldnt be the same. He is very professional and kind and wants his customers to feel like they are important. True Green, has always done a fabulous job on our lawn and making sure our voice is heard and totally satisfied. Thanks for another great year. I hope I get Branden as our service technician next year! We have used True Green for many, many years. Ive never been disappointed in their products. I get complements all the time on how beautiful, thick and green our lawn is.

The associate was on time, provided the necessary service, and left a detailed account of the lawn care provided.

The first season I used True Green they were great--rarely saw mosquitos after an application. The follow year they came every time within hours of heavy rain so the mosquito application did nothing. Prices also climbed insanely high. Sales reps began calling frequently and were very rude when refusing additional services--Dont you care about your ornamentals I cannot believe you wont spend $X on this service--I spend more at taco bell both stated with attitude, not with the slightest hint of joking. After this years services were completed I called to cancel future services (my exact Words when I called). The rep stated she would cancel them and when I asked for a confirmation email she stated I would receive one. I never received an email but I received a call the next day to resolve a cancelation due to a billing dispute. I didnt have a billing dispute I was cutting expenses as I stated during my request to cancel. The rep told me they cancelled this years services, but it would still autorenew each year. Makes no sense as this years services were completed and paid for and therefore there was nothing to cancel. I told her numerous times I wanted to cancel and she stated over and over they did cancel them...for this year. As if I wasnt going to pick up on the for this year as she changed subjects to sending someone out for a free re-application. I asked repeatedly to talk with someone who could permanently cancel all services and she gave me attitude and talked about how autorenewal is disclosed in the contract--apparently to Tru Green autorenewal means once you sign up you are required to remain with them for life. She eventually said someone would call me in 24-48 hours to cancel my services and hung up on me (because thay was professional). Aside from cutting her off when she continually tried to talk aboit what autorenewal is, I was very polite. The only reason I chose to cut her off was because she kept trying to steer the conversation away from taking care of my cancellation request. I emailed my request once more and received a vague email response that the services were already cancelled. After dealing with the game playing by phone of for this year I am still waiting for Tru Green to respond to my follow up email to ensure their autorenewal will not autorenew on an cancelled account (as if I am unreasonable to want a full cancellation).

We shouldve just trusted the bad reviews. They came out.. barely sprayed for mosquitoes [just sprayed perimeter of property] and said give it a week. NO DIFFERENCE, as if nothing was sprayed. Called for free respray that Friday and was told between Wed and Fri theyll come and youll get email. Nothing by Wednesday so I call and theyll be there Thursday. I take off work so I can talk to them and NOBODY SHOWS! I call that night and was told wrong and that theyre really coming Monday for sure. Monday morning I call to confirm before missing work again and I was told wrong again and no idea when coming but hopefully this week.. mind you this is over 2 weeks after initial spray with NO RESULTS and we come back to spray within days. Was told protocol is a manager will call you within 48 hours but I doubt one will. Will be doing a charge back on credit card for the 4 treatments we were forced to buy as a package and seeking further help if nobody contacts me. STAY AWAY FROM TRUGREEN. TRUST THE BAD REVIEWS. THEY ARE A CONPLETE SCAM.

I have dealt with the Flint group for several years and have always been happy (much more than satisfied) with their care. Excellent weed control and they take care of my tree too! All for an excellent price! Thank you!

Hired Trugreen for a year and a half, paid in full. Requested a free estimate for dead grass I had in my yard. Trugreen called and I denied the service after the estimate. They continued to call relentlessly attempting to sell the service. I refused the service and cancelled all of their services. I never received additional services and all payments were done paid when I canceled. Almost 1 year after this I receive a letter from collections for an unitemized $120 charge, no idea what the service was supposed to be and neither did the collections agent. Frustrated about possible damage to my credit score I just pay the collection fee to be done with it. Almost immediately I am receiving sales calls from trugreen again who leave a voicemail everytime that has now filled my inbox to where other people have said they were unable to leave me a message because of the full inbox. I have spoken to them on the phone and told them under no circumstances do I want service from them. They continue to call as if it is an automated schedule. I m nervous to even answer due to the false charge and collections attempt. If you want to sign up for annoying telemarketers that won t remove you from the call list, then you should sign up for trugreen.. while posting this review I see they have a class action lawsuit for unconsented telemarketing as well. Maybe it s something I said or implied. I don t care about a refund I just want them to quit calling me.

Fertilizing and turf building. I am so pleased with my results. My neighbors are asking who do I use. I proudly Say Truegreen. A neighbor I know for sure switched to Truegreen after asking who I used. My lawn is beautiful a showcase and I m very proud of it and the advice I get from Truegreen of how to care for it between treatments. Thanks TruGreen!

We have been using true green for several years. The past 2 have been unacceptable. Our yard has burn spots from the last application. Canceled the service today will not go back!!

I prepaid for the year for this service as a Fathers Day present for my husband. They came out once in May and then rescheduled 12 times. They still have not come back out for the next treatment. I called today and asked for a refund of the remaining money. I have no problem paying for the first treatment. They were really rude and just kept telling me they will be out tomorrow. I said no they won t. Every time I call they say that we have your appointment locked in, then they cancel. So I have no idea if I m really getting any money back. She said she had to send it to billing. I will update after the 10 business days. I m not mad at anyone, I know they do not have enough people to perform all the services. It s everywhere we don t have enough workers. But let s just be honest that we can not perform the service you prepaid for. ****Update**** I was refunded the total amount without any problems!

Very happy with results and price for service. I cannot purchase materials for what Im billed per application, not considering the time itd take me in comparison to spread/apply everything. This is my second season since moving to my new home and subscribing to TruGreen service and I love the results.

I did not appreciate the lack of customer service. No one seemed to keep notes in the system regarding my requests. No progress was made with our lawn growth and they promised us extra treatments for no additional cost if requested if we thought we needed them, but we only received 1 extra treatment at the very end of the season. Beware of this company. I trusted them because of the big popular name.

Very expensive. And the techs cant tell where the property lines are at. My neighbor had trugreen come out and they did a big chunk of my yard and then I had a service come out and they only did a small fraction of my yard.

I have 2 businesses that I use TruGreen for and have for years. Just filled out a online form to get a quote for my home and almost instantly got a call. First off if I wanted a call I would have called... 2nd after a 30 min pitch they quote me over 1200 for my small yard. Ill be calling Monday to cancel my commercial accounts. I dont care what they say I will never use them again. Absolutely rediculas. My neighbor that has a larger yard pays a 3rd of that...

Its 4th of july and I have weeds all over my yard still andbrown spots. Horrible customer service, very slow and laggy app. Go somewhere else.

When you try to cancel, they say oopsies and just keep on as if you never told them anything. Thats just one lie. They are commiting fraud.

We met out of town friends here for Sunday lunch they reserved a table for 12 for us and we had fast friendly service. And the Mexican food was some of the best I have had in a long time.

1st visit this yr the tech over-sprayed some weeds killing the grass and leaving more than 30 dinner plate size circles in my lawn. After complaining because the grass wouldnt grow back like we were told it would, a supervisor was sent out. He couldnt care less but said theyd airrate the lawn and seed the spots. They did airrate the lawn but DID NOT do anything at all with the spots. Now its September. My lawn has looked terrible the entire season. And NOW I HAVE TO FIX IT MYSELF costing me MORE MONEY. The error and attitude about this mess conveyed by TruGreen has been appalling. I will NEVER use again or recommend this company to anyone.

I got quoted and they charged 75$ extra. They also sprayed for mosquitos 2 days ago and last night there were a million mosquitos, dont waste your money find another place. Quoted a price for weeds and mosquito. I paid them what I was quoted. Only mosquito application applied. Called to correct, they came out next day and sprayed for weeds. Then I was charged separately for weeds. Called to complain, Offered no resolution to problem, just told I could stop service if I wanted. Mosquitos still here!!

Overpriced and performed services I did not ask for and tried to charge my credit card for said services. Applied weed killer over spots of freshly planted grass and killed the seeds. Had to stop the service and they still showed up and performed one more fertilization after I specifically requested an immediate stoppage and was assured it was stopped. Tried to nickel and dime me if you can call it that for 94 dollars an application just to fertilize My front yard. I will do it myself from now on.

PLENTY OF PLACES THAT CHARGE HALF OR LESS FOR BETTER SERVICE and wont provide service you asked to stop or constantly up charge you told them i want to hold out on service and next thing they go and do extra services on top of that my lawn was stressed due to heat and no rain. claimed they would call m to see if i wanted service in a month or so refund my money which they did not and they keep sending people to my house with no confirmation or me accepting any service. they claim a robo call is sufficient notice, not sure how that works legally.

Can I give less than 1 star? I prepaid for the year In May and have had 1 application completed. I ve spent over 10 phone calls to get applications scheduled with cancellations each time. I paid ~$250 and have had 1 application in 9 weeks. I keep calling and reassured that they will actually show up, to receive emails that they did not complete the scheduled service. Do not use TruGreen.

We were very skeptical at first, no way can this spray get rid of the mosquitoes. We also thought this was a bit pricey also. So proud to say that, we were wrong and it is worth it. We can enjoyed our yard again. With the first treatment, we noticed a difference right away. After about two weeks the mosquitoes started coming back and TruGreen came out and did another treatment at no extra cost. It worked, even with all the extra rain that we had this year.

We have used our old lawn care company for 10 years and after 2 applications from True Green our lawn has never looked so good. Thanks True Green We had True Green performer aeration and over seed on lawn and are not satisfied. It left major spots where the lawn was damaged. I sent the better part of the afternoon repairing our lawn. I can only hope the over seeding will repair all the spots. As of now we will not this program again only time will tell if s worth it.

Lawn Service has been about a 4. Office support has been about a 4. Management has been about a 1.5 which has brought my overall down. Disappointed with the service and hassle Ive received from them. Continually wanting to charge me for service I never received. Management wouldnt call me back as they promised, and I had to keep looking into clearing this up. They turned it into collection and I never even owed the charge. Really disappointed in the treatment I recieved. On the fence for service come the 2020 season.

True Green has been the Lawn Care speciist of our yard for the last 3 years and havent had any issues receiving the services that they provide. I suggest that more techs & consumers would have a better one on one review about any differences that are developing as they take care of the property

I have been a customer of trugreen for about 6 years. Each year someone calls to negotiate a price and I agree/not agree to do have them service my lawn. Last year, I called a representative to tell them I planted grass seed, so I wanted to skip a service. No one communicated and two days later, Trugreen sprayed my lawn, killing all my seed. The grass seed cost me $50 and I put hours of work into it. A representative from Trugreen called and apologized and said if I agree to have them back, they would do aeration and overseed my lawn. No one ever did it so I spoke with a different representative and he said that there was no record. So this year, 2017, Trugreen called to inquire about the service for the year. I told them I would get back with them (not sure if I wanted to even deal with them anymore) and that I was going to re-plant my seed and I wanted it to grow before they sprayed. The day before Easter (2 days ago), Trugreen came out and were preparing to spray my lawn. I told that guy that I didnt agree to have a service and could not understand why he came out. I also told him that we were have an Easter egg hunt where he would be spraying and that I was planting grass seed after, so I did not want the service until/if I called. He was friendly and said he couldnt understand why they would send him out. Today is the day after Easter, I left for a short while and when I got home, they sprayed my lawn!!!!!! I took a few days off work this week to work on it, now I cant plant my grass seed. I called Trugreen#5784 in Flint Michigan, and spoke with Antoine. I asked to speak with a manager, but Antoine said they would call me back in 1-2 business days. Antoine asked if he could help so I explained the situation. Antoine began making excuses by saying things such as, maybe they accidentally did yours instead of the neighbor intended, I shot that down by telling him that everyone has 5-10 parcels where I live. I tried to enter a review on their website, but there was no place that a person could enter a review. They show positive 5 star reviews that must have been selected by their company, check it out for yourself.

I have been using TruGreen for about three years now (I think) and their products WORK. My yard looked like a maze from all the mole tunnels and holes (or whatever they were), grubs were destroying things, crab grass, weeds and dandelions like crazy and the grass was brittle and weak.... it looks NOTHING like that now and I love it. Annnnd, they call you a couple days before to remind you that you have a service scheduled. And anyone I have ever spoke to from TruGreen (YES, they have REAL people you get to talk to!) <3 that ! has been extremely helpful and polite. Highly highly recommend them.

After the first year of giving them a try and not being very satisfied with the service, for example if the gate to the backyard wasnt unlocked when they got here they would just do the front and leave the bill no knock on the door or doorbell to ask me to unlock it and you never know when they come theyre so quiet, I didnt renew for the next year...but still got bills left on my door, and when I called they where very rude once I started saying I didnt agree for the second year and they said I said I wanted it...
