Well I would love to leave a 5 star review, unfortunately it has to be a 3 star for me. I called to get scheduled and I talked to a gentleman that told me my whole yard would be covered at a certain price. They come to my home and service my lawn and come to realize they only serviced my front lawn and my back yard. I have another yard beyond the back yard fence that the gentleman said was covered. I call Custom Lawn and they said no worries we will be out again to do the rest of my yard. I get home one day and come to find out they re did my front lawn, my back yard, and only half my backyard beyond my fence. They were out a week prior, I just wanted the back yard beyond the fence done but it STILL wasn t done fully. They only did half of the back yard beyond the fence. I call back and ask them why it was only done half way and the lady said that all of my property wasn t covered. So I had to pay extra to have my whole yard completed. Not an issue, just wish they would have told me the correct price the first time and did my whole yard completely the first time. A month goes by and it s time for lawn aerating, they text me later in the day and I text back wanting to re schedule because I haven t had time to mow my lawn because of the weather. It had been raining all week. They show up first thing in the morning after I tried to reschedule. They never looked at their messages before leaving for the day. The temps were still to warm for when I wanted to get it done as well. Overall, it had not been a great experience for me at all and I wish it was better because I hear they re a decent company.

We have been using Custom Lawncare for years, and they always do a fantastic job! Chris is our lawncare tech and is always polite, friendly and you can tell he loves what he does. He even picks up the dog toys we didnt get a chance to pick up and moves them to the porch before putting down fertilizers and pesticides. Chris recently shared some insight on a grub infestation that seems to be taking over our area, and they put down a complementary grub control treatment to help combat the problem for us. Absolutely fantastic customer service! Highly recommended, and we will continue to use Custom Lawncare well into the future!

This is my first year using any lawn service and Im very pleased with the way Paul has handled my issues. Tre came by to treat my lawn with weed and feed plus an extra service call to get rid of Wild Violets, which will take a few treatments, Tre took his time answering my many questions and he walked the yard with me so I could show him the problem areas. Im very happy with the service so far these Wild Violets are a hard customer to remove much harder than Creeping Charlie which they got rid of in two services further updates to come and thank you Tre.

I have tried a few different lawn companies and never been really impressed until Custom Lawn Care. This was my first treatment with them and Jacob was nice and assured me he would be taking care of my property and concerns I have. I am so impressed after just 1 treatment. My lawn has improved so much with color and weeds in just a short time. After treatments with other companies I always had to clean my driveway and sidewalk off. I couldnt beleive he took his time to clean up any that might got on it. I am excited to see what he is going to do for my lawn with future services. If you are like me and have had horrible experience with lawn care companies give these people a go.

Worst Ive ever had. Price is cheap and so is the work. Ive got dandelions, pickers, clover and broad leaf Al thru my lawn. Never had this until I tried them. Asked for redo was told no. Wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy.

I had a really bad outbreak of Creeping Charlie however after an extra service call it cleared up. They are now getting rid of an infestation of Wild Violets Orion came by and sprayed for those and did a fantastic job explaining how they plan to get rid of them thank you. I loved this place. Well used to love this place. I live in Diamondale. A young man named GAVIN does my lawn. He even hand sprays the areas that the machine has missed. He even picked up trash that fell out of my dumpster on trash day and rolled my dumpster up to the house! Always shuts off his equipment and says hi when I happen to see him. Keep coming! UPDATE 6-2024 after issues ( not putting down liquid fertilizer) because they said my tank was empty I HAVE A HOSE YOU CAN BORROW. called and addressed it (or so I thought) AGAIN WITH THE NO LIQUID (some treatments get a granular and liquid) Plus I started watching them. They have a machine they ride on, goes about 25 MPH So they bounce across your yard, high speed putting down barely any treatment I QUIT MY TWO NEIGHBORS QUIT HECK EVEN GAVIN QUIT

This is my second year using Custom Personalized Lawn Care. I was referred by a family member. The weeds were taking over our lawn. Although I was hesitant at first, it was a great choice, and the lawn looks much better now. My wife is much happier with the appearance of our lawn as well. Our normal technician, David Miller, always does a great job and is very professional and knowledgeable. Today we had Drew McDonald out for service. I just happened to be home today and watched Drew from the house as he sprayed our lawn. He was very detail oriented and thorough. Orion does a great job of fertilizing our lawn. Today, I asked him to stay clear of the construction workers building my deck...which meant he had to exclude some of my lawn. Afterwards, he let me know how during the next visit he will make sure to pay extra attention to the area he had to skip. He also wanted to make sure I was happy with the service he provided.

We just had a red thread funfair treatment. The Serviceman was very polite and careful to not get any of the spray on our front yard garden. He hand spread some areas. Thank you for letting us know what the dry patches were in our yard.

We had a visit today from Custom Personalized Lawn Care for a mosquito and pest control treatment. I just happened to be home today to observe. Declan Mulqueen was our technician. He very politely came to the front door to announce his arrival and what he would be applying today. He stated that he was waiting a few minutes to see if the wind would quiet down a little. A little while later I heard him out spraying my yard. He did a great job. I have had treatments from other companies that walked the perimeter of my property and that was it. Declan did the perimeter and then did around my house, up on my deck, under my deck, around my patio and then the front porch. I was so happy and amazed that he took his time and treated my entire property. My hat is off to Declan. Great job and a nice young man.

Austin from the flint location was amazing! He literally waited a couple extra minutes so I was able to clear up the back yard. My son is autistic and we have a lock on the gate. He put it back for me! He went above and beyond and cant think him enough for his hard work.

I think the rain has delayed the effect to some extent. Since the first application, there has been rain, every other day.

I just wanted to say that in my experience over the years that Custom Lawn is an excellent lawn care service. When speaking to the staff on the phone they are always kind and helpful. As for the lawn techs my wife and I find them to be the same. Today our tech was Orion Grew and he was the most pleasant and polite young man Ive dealt with in a long time. After my misunderstanding about my lawn treatment Orion had to return to my home after we called the company complaining about the service. After talking with him I realized I shouldnt have complained but commended him for a job well done, especially after he polity and kindly explained what happens with the lawn treatments that he took extra care with. Needless to say that we are grateful that Orion is our lawn tech and will look forward to him treating our lawn again, and that we use Custom Lawn as our service. James Kaul

Frank did an exceptional job at my house. He made sure everything was treated adequately. He even stopped what he was doing to let me take my dog out to use the bathroom.
