We hired Maplewood Landscaping to renovate our landscaping and hardscaping. They replaced the paver walkway in front, regraded the area next to the house and planted new shrubs. Made a large patio in the backyard. We are very happy with the design and the installation. Their team put in long days and completed job quickly. Workmanship is excellent. I recommend this company.

Igor & crew did a fantastic (and fast) job replacing a failing backyard deck retaining wall & refurbishing the adjacent patio leading to our basement walk-in. Igor presented a very detailed & well thought-out plan which was based exactly on our expressed needs & price-point, and his crew performed the 2.5 day job exactly when he stated they would. They have done a great job over the past 3 years maintaining our lawn with weekly mowing and they recently made a wonderful upgrade to our yard with weeding, cleaning, trimming, mulching! My husband and I have been using Maplewood Landscaping for lawn maintenance since we moved to Flemington in 2020. We have never been disappointed with the service and the price. Last year Igors wonderful crew put in a paver patio and this year they just finished an amazing retaining wall for the garden, through 100 degree heat! I called to ask if they would give me a price, the owner hung the phone on my face saying he s not taking more clients! Should have been a bit more polite. I m getting the feedback to Hunterdon County to make sure this company, though being local, is mot recommended.

Decent work on patio but shady tactic of adding on extra expenses (i.e. debris removal, extra seed cost, etc.) at the end of the job without prior approval from homeowner. Also, what company in 2022 doesnt take electronic form of payment? Would not recommend.

Maplewood came recommended by a friend who owns a very reputable construction company. We were very happy with the work done by Maplewood! We had a difficult job and so many co tractors had such different ideas on how to proceed and such varying prices that we really were getting discouraged. Igor had a clear vision of what the project needed and he had very clear and reasonable prices. The guys who work with and for Igor are professional and extremely capable. We needed to wait to get Maplewood because as a small company they were tied up on another job but it was worth the wait.

Took longer than originally quoted to start but worth the wait. Igor and his crew worked tirelessly and professionally to replace our front walkway, remove overgrown trees and refresh our 25-year old landscape. Two years ago we used a different company (also local to Flemington) to replace our back walkway. There s no comparison to Maplewood, we are so much happier. Maplewood (Igor) transformed our outdoor space. He redid our stairs and walkway and also transformed our backyard. He is diligent in his work and also very responsive.

We interviewed six companies before choosing Maplewood. I immediately noticed that they had more ideas and BETTER ideas about our job, which involved not only improving the aesthetics and driveway appeal of our home but also dealing with water runoff and drainage.We did not make our decision based on price but the price was excellent too. When the pandemic struck, and even when our area had a string of storms, they stayed in close contact as we had to reschedule work. In the end, we were extremely happy with our patio, retaining wall work, steps, river rock areas, plantings, and more. We are already planning to use them for a new project this spring.

We chose Maplewood to complete our backyard project after seeing a patio project completed at a friends house. We needed a deck teardown, sidewalk and pool area concrete removal and total landscape removal. We ended up with beautiful paver walkways, patio, fire pit seating, pergola and outdoor bar. The work is beautiful from the attention to detail in the pavers all around, landscaping and lighting we had added. The workers all worked long days and were thorough and polite. Great work and we have recommended them to all our neighbors!

I have been using Maple wood landscaping for 2 years in a row to mow our lawn. The lawn looks fantastic and I appreciate that they go the extra to totally make me love coming home to beautiful well landscaped lawn. The other landscaper that did our lawn charged extra for strange things and one time would not mow until we removed any branches that blew down in the wind - and always showed up at odd times. The owner has always been very respectful both on the phone and in person. I have never submitted a google review before but felt that I should because I was shocked by the negativity of the other reviews. I think they are a great company and deserve 5 stars

The guy was doing work in my neighborhood. He hit my neighbors car and then filed a complaint against her insurance. His wife/girlfriend in the front seat even cussed my neighbor out after they hit her car. We called the police but he still got paid the $$$. I hope the cost of this post was worth the $100.

Received estimate for paver walkway and landscaping from Igor, the owner. Picked out walkway pavers (which I was assured was available) and gave deposit (50%). When he came by to confirm the design a week later, was told he didnt have the paver we discussed and that I had to settle for what was in stock, I went to his stock yard but didnt see anything comparable. He became belligerent when I didnt want to choose something else. He then said he would refund my deposit the next week. Took a month to get back my deposit back after having to leave numerous voicemails and text messages.

Unreliable broke my house did not honor his contract avoid this company at all cost

We had a scheduled appointment for between 2-4 pm. When owner did not show up and I called, he apologized and said he had taken deposits on 3 large accounts today and he would not have time for my job for another 3-4 weeks. He said to call back.

PLOWED 6 FEET OF SNOW INTO OUR FENCE 3 YEARS IN A ROW BROKE FENCE, GATE ,AND LIGHTING ALL THREE YEARS.TOLD ME TO MOVE THE FENCE FOR HIM
