Steve gave a very detailed quote in 2023. Due to us building a new deck and having concrete poured in 2024, our project was 2 parts. The crew did part 1 in the fall of 2023 and then came back in 2024 after the construction was completed. Very happy with them Would definitely use them again.

GLC built a natural gas firepit and outdoor kitchen. Was very satisfied with the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and communication throughout. Would definitely hire them again.

GLC is the best contracting company Ive ever had in my 47 years of being a homeowener. The entire crew where always on time and started working as soon as they got out of there trucks until it was time to leave for the day. Every crew member knew what their responsibility were when they arrived and got right to it. I told Gino that he should have classes for other contractors on how to give the utmost costumer service. There were no smoke breaks, or cell phones (except for business) and they never took long lunch breaks. Our patio is lovely and I thank the entire crew from Gino, Stephen, TJ and Raul. I apologize for not remembering the other 2 workers name. Also the office ladies June, Eileen and Lily were so kind and keeping us updated with what was going to take place each day. If you are looking for excellent, quality and exceptional workmen ship the look no further then GLC. You will NOT be disappointed.

It was time to replace my landscaping but my area had some special requirements. I needed plants that would grow well in the shade, were deer resistant, low maintenance, yet attractive. My current soil was contaminated from diseased plants, therefore, I also required plants that were resistant to this specific disease. Stephen was able to select plants that met the criteria. The installers were efficient and completed the landscape project with minimal disruption to my surrounding area. My finished product is extremely attractive. This past week, the team at G.L.C. Lawn, Landscaping & Snow Removal completed the installation of the History Walk Timeline at the Grosse Ile History Museum. What a positive experience! GLC completely transformed my front yard took it from boring and not functional to a beautiful entrance to my house. They also reconfigured my entrance to the sidewalk from the street, making it easier to get from the car and easier to mow. They did a great job for a great price.

We needed stairs going down the steep hill leading to our backyard. GLC returned our phone call promptly. They were excellent at planning the job out so that it went smoothly, arranging for Mis dig and handling the delivery of the stone. They came out and assessed the yard and spent time going over material options. Gino was involved with every step of the job. This was a very extensive job on a very heavily sloped hill. They also fixed the grading in the 1/2 acre space in the yard below the hill. They were so efficient and finished the stairs promptly. We were very impressed with the result. It has been so much easier to access our yard with the steps! This is our second time working with GLC. They landscaped the home we owned prior to this property with equally impressive results. Highly recommend!

We contracted with GLC to do our front landscaping. The project was started earlier than the estimated time. Removal of our previous landscape was done quickly and neatly in almost one evening. Stephen the project manager was very easy to work with and accommodated all our request in design and planting. Martin and his work crew were fantastic. They worked quickly and efficiently and meticulously with retaining wall and planting. Throughout the project they always cleaned up afterwards. GLC put in our brick paver driveway 5yrs ago and there are hundreds and hundreds of bricks. I cant believe that only a few bricks have moved after all those years. The men were very knowledgeable and professional. We also had GLC put in some brick paver landscape walls(45 feet ..total) which have been in for 7 yrs and the walls are in perfect shape . Previous owner had used GLC about 10 years ago and we hired them again to give us a refresh. Everything looks amazing and was finished way ahead of schedule!

I knew I was gonna hire GLC even before my house was done being built. I had seen there work an knew it was top notch. Geno an his crew did an amazing job. I was blown away an love the results.

We wanted to replace the mulch in our flower beds with rock, add a partial brick walkway, added stepping stones by back gate. The also leveled dirt around our shed added top soil and seed. The whole crew was amazing. They got everything done in one day. The clean-up was also amazing. Quite a difference from the guys that installed our fence, they left a mess. I cant say enough good things about this company and crew. If you need something done, call them.

We don t know what we have done wrong, but this was our second time trying to hire this company. The first time I contacted them was in May 2021 through Instagram. We were building our new home and was interested in a paver driveway, patio, and landscaping. I provided my contact information and the owner called me the next business day, I believe. He basically told me a paver driveway would be too expensive (as if he knows what we can afford) and did not agree to meet with us on-site to take measurements. Okay, so we hired elsewhere. Fast forward to 2022, we re now in our house and in need of landscaping (more dirt, grading, sod, flower beds, extension of driveway, and a living fence) - the whole 9 yards.GLC was doing a lot of work in our subdivision, even the new construction home right down the street from us. Against my better judgement, I decided to give GLC a call again to get somebody out to create a plan and hopefully get on their schedule for 2023, since we understand they re probably booked for the season. A woman answered the phone, took down my information and ideas on what we re looking for. She was pleasant up until I asked one question. She said a designer would come out and help create a landscaping plan, but the fee is $1500. I said, okay, and does that $1500 go towards the project? She seemed almost offended I would ask and told me it does not go towards the project, but I get to keep the design that was created. I said, why do I need to keep the design if I hire you, that s strange it wouldn t go towards the project itself . Long story short, she said somebody would contact me to come out to our home. This was in July 2022, it is now September. I should ve known better than to attempt for a second time to hire this company. I would give zero stars if I could for unprofessionalism. Unfortunately I couldn t and wouldn t recommend this company to any of my friends in our subdivision and/or otherwise.

No horse play , right to work tore out the yard and re-soiled in a few hours, next day laid sod in a couple hours. what a difference great looking yard now. GLC replaced some arborvitaes a previous company had done a poor job with. They made sure they were planted correctly and placed irrigation properly, which had not been previously done. I m extremely happy with the job they did and their employees were great. Highly recommend!

GLC was helpful when we were looking to install irrigation and sod at our new home. They were able to do both before winter came and we are very pleased they were able to do so. As a small business owner, the first sell you get is when someone calls for information about your business and what you can do for them. My first ph call to GLC was today 6/15/20. The gal that answered the phone was so haughty and forward/ SNOTTY. my lob was not big enough for their small company. i will not pass on any information about them except to tell you to call someone else if you are not spending $3000.00 on you landscaping. Thumbs down on Gino.I know I have to leave a star, but a half of one is all she deserves.

We have used GLC several times now from Pavers and sod to a complete drainage and walkway redo to regular lawn services. They are simply the most professional and dependable company in SE Michigan for what they provide. I would personally recommend them to anyone who is looking for fairly priced overly perfectionist work.

Ive used GLC for my weekly lawn maintenance for 2 seasons now. The crew takes the time to provide a nice cut and always cleans up prior to leaving the property. At one point, I thought the lawn was getting cut a little bit too short not too big of a deal but I reached out to inquire if the blades could be raised. I received an immediate reply and my request was granted on the very next cut. In 2 years, any question Ive had I always received immediate and professional responses. I was most pleased with the job the crew did trimming the shrubs and cleaning up around my landscaping beds. I didnt think that the landscaping beds or shrubs looked that bad until GLC came by and cleaned those up. What a difference!

We had a great experience this Summer/Fall with GLC- our family moved into a new build and we were working with a blank slate. After a few meetings and conversations with Gino we settled on plans for our dream yard and patio complete with sod, lighting, landscaping, sprinklers, and a fire pit and surrounding patio. We couldnt be happier with the results- we love our yard and the fire pit/patio that Keith and his crew worked on. All of the crew members were respectful and they all worked together like a well-oiled machine. We continue to receive compliments from visitors and neighbors and would definitely recommend working with the GLC team in the future.

I contacted GLC to help me with a retaining wall project. When Gino Showed up, he was polite, professional, and you could tell he knew what he was talking about. He Was able to take a project idea I had and he ran with it, adding a lot of his own ideas that were tasteful, and helped set the project off. First, let me start by saying that we have been repeat customers of GLC. Our first experience which is what prompted the second experience was a fantastic one as Gino the owner was the one on the job site. This review of our second job for our forever home was not the same experience at all. This job was a blank slate as it was a custom built home, so we should have been able to get everything exactly as we wanted. A sprinkler system, grade and level the land along with landscaping beds with easily maintainable plants. Gino, the owner was not on site for this job, one of his employees was. His employees and staff have always been polite and easy to work with, however we were still left with somewhat of a mess and we are only four months out. They do not offer a warranty or any type of guarantee on their plants, this is in the contract if you look for it, but it s not something they make known when you sign. Even with this being job 2 for us with them we had no idea and we are to take some blame for that for not fully reading the tiny print of the contract. We wanted the land leveled and graded, it s full of holes and pits that sod was just placed over, I almost face planted yesterday in one of these holes because you can t see it until you re in it. The sprinkler system is not as we wanted. It s a spiderweb of zones that are stressed under pressure. We wanted separate zones for lawn and flower beds. They re intertwined. Three trees are dying, including a blue spruce tree that I notified them immediately of, after a mere 2 months, that it was struggling, it s now at 4 months post project almost completely dead. They offered to replace it for another $225, after paying nearly $20k for the work. After almost tumbling in the very unlevel yard yesterday, we noticed 2 more trees almost dead. Plants are obviously a huge part of any landscaping project, even Lowes warranties plants for a year, to not have any help with those is disappointing. The biggest thing is this is our forever home and this was a blank slate for the perfect opportunity to get it right. That didn t happen this time. If we had the money, unfortunately we re still paying for this work, we d rip this all out and start over. Job number one at our old house still looks amazing after years. This finished project is struggling after just 4 months. Before writing this review we contacted GLC via email about a list of issues. Gino responded but only touched on 2 issues, replacing the tree for $225 more, and bringing in some river rock. Didn t touch at all on the sprinkler, the grade/level of our yard. Our most important items. We are very disappointed this time around and with the after care regarding the responses we ve received. We were planning on using GLC for phase 3 (Backyard) of our forever home, unfortunately and with a sad heart, we will not be. In conclusion we would absolutely recommend GLC for pavers and retaining walls, but at this point in time, not at all, for the items we hired them for sprinklers, landscaping, yard grading, plants, unless Gino himself is on the job.

GLC did a super job on our yard and landscaping! We had 40 yards of dirt brought in, the yard graded, two new beds created, large boulders brought in for accent, all new bushes, perennials and two different kinds of rock. We also added low voltage landscape lighting as well. Gino and his entire crew did great work. From the initial meeting with Gino to the end of the project, was total commitment and professionalism from everyone. All of the above mentioned was also completed in 3 days! Definitely recommend them and will be calling next summer to add additional bed, bushes and plants.

GLC is hands down one of the best companies I have ever worked with! They turn your visions to reality plus more! They answer calls and emails right away! They meet with you as many times as needed to make sure the project is exactly how you want it. They craftsmanship if amazing and their team is awesome! They make your dreams become reality!

From start to finish GLC was an absolute pleasure to work with. Their initial design strategy was incredible, we did a bit of changing and tweaking of the plans and got everything how we wanted. Communication was top notch throughout the process and installation was a breeze and was above and beyond what I expected. They took every opportunity to go the extra mile even painstakingly trimming out all of the steps for that extra special custom look. The entire team was courteous, respectful, efficient and tidy. We really couldnt have asked for a better experience with them. I would highly recommend Eileen and the GLC team to everyone, I promise you will have nothing but a positive experience. I cannot speak higher of them and we are so incredibly happy with everything they did. We love our oasis in our new forever home.

We couldnt be happier with the work performed by GLC! They installed a beautiful, brick patio with matching front walkways for us. The job was pretty complicated being our home/landscaping provided several different obstacles. Plus, we had requested many changes be made from what we originally asked for at the start of the process, resulting in a pretty large job. They had no issues with overcoming any obstacles and made all changes that I had requested. The job was done in a timely fashion, and unlike other landscaping companies the team was so easy to work with and very accommodating. The final result was absolutely beautiful! It exceeded all expectations. I HIGHLY recommend hiring GLC for any of your landscaping needs. I know I will be calling them again for future services.

GLC Totally Rocks. I emailed them about missing my weekly lawn service. They responded we have been keeping an eye on your Lawn and it s not long enough to cut. Have any of you every heard of a LS Company not cutting because the grass wasn t long enough? The best comment that Eileen (GLC) made was that they are in the SERVICE business. When s the last time you heard that? Again GLC YOU ROCK!!! For not just cutting my grass just so you could bill me. But did what was best for my lawn. Awesome!!!

After a total house renovation inside, we realized the outside was completely lacking. Gino designed a great space within our budget, and his crew brought it to fruition in a professional and timely manner. Top notch!

Very professional company

Gino and his amazing crew completely redid the front landscaping of my house. Gino worked with me to stay in my budget, but also give me a design I loved. His entire crew was polite and professional. He has a knack for designing and installing patio blocks that is not only creative, but beautiful and durable as well.

Highly recommended. Weve had GLC install a brick paver patio & firepit several years ago and it still looks like it did on day one. Great investment, great company!

Had gravel put in at my bussines that I just had purchased. Had a list of city requirements that needed to be done and was very straight forward with asking them to get a permit after the job was completed I called the city for an inspection and was informed there was no permit pulled and was in violation when I called this company they said I did not need a permit and would not come out to remove without paying again. Now I have to remove and pay for concrete or put the grass back. Very rude company just buyer beware of them

We love our new landscape project! G.L.C. is the real deal. They are smart, creative, neat, and professional. When we first approached Gino we had done our homework, looked at a lot of pictures on the Internet, and had a few ideas of what we wanted. The G.L.C. team listened to our ideas and our budget and took our project to the next level. The crew was very polite and neat, always cleaning up the job site in the evening before returning in the morning. The project was completed on time and within budget. Our neighbors are so jealous!
