Dont waste your time or money. Total rip off. Never go there again!!! I told them to replace the fuel line and sharpen the chain. They proceeded to diagnose which i didnt need and took my deposit and did nothing I asked them to do. They did try to sell me a new saw witch I thought was very tacky. When I pay for service I expect them to do as I ask.

Great early Spring deals. They actually completed the tune up on my mower faster than I expected. They always let me know what they did and if anything additional needs to be done, they let me know before doing the work.

I was sent to Haight Mobile Maintenance by a trusted person at another dealer who no longer handles any lawn or snow motorized tools. I needed to get an older 2 stroke snow blower going since a big storm was coming soon. Rob was very helpful getting this arranged in a very short time. While I was in the shop he went over all of their battery powered single stage snow blowers, pros and cons. He answered all my questions fully and knowledgeably. I finally decided on a new Ego snow blower. It works great and was ready for pickup as requested. Great customer service is always appreciated and everyone I have talked to at this company has been helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming.

Today I m going to pick up a zero turn mower from Haights. I ve been going to Haights Mobile Maintenance for mower repair and maintenance issues for years and have recommended them to several friends. Their sales and service staff have always been polite and helpful. During the pandemic my riding mower needed repairs. I took it to Bob to be repaired. He was honest and upfront about the wait time explaining that because of the pandemic there would be a long wait time because their supplier s couldn t get parts shipped to them. While I waited for my mower to be repaired Bob loaned me one of his demo mowers because of the unique circumstances of supply issues. He didn t have to do this, but he did because he understood my position. That s great service from a family business you don t find much anymore. I would recommend Haight s to anyone looking to purchase a mower, snowblower, or have one serviced. Quality people, quality employees, quality business.

I have 8 small engines, and I perform the vast majority of the maintenance on them. But I recently took my Honda lawnmower to Heights after I couldnt take care of the surging engine problem. I took it to them 3 separate times. In their defense, they did some repairs the first time (replaced a gasket), but this still didnt fix the problem. On the 2nd trip, the owner claimed that the problem was fixed despite me showing him video proof from my phone that it wasnt. On the 3rd visit, he made claims to my wife that he had his best mechanic on it and the only common denominator he could think was the cold weather. It was 67 degrees that day. And he said he couldnt be of any further help. Youre better off using YouTube than giving these crooks your money.

My lawnmower self propelled feature worked just fine before dropping it off. It doesn t work at ALL and it is almost impossible to push. My Toro Timemaster 30 mower is in worst condition than when I dropped it off. I washed it beforehand and it appears it was left outside. I brought the mower into this business for belt repairs and blade sharpening. They messed with the self propelled without consulting me and didn t even return it in the same condition as it was when dropped off. I m beyond disappointed in the repairs. If the self propelled was having an issue before dropping it was dropped off, don t you think I would have said, it s hard to push or it not working as designed? This has to be the worst service I have ever experienced. Also, the owner didn t even want to resolve the issues. $157 in repairs and they can t even wash it. The owner also stated he would reply if I made a review. Here is a tip for the owner: customer service goes a long ways.

Dropped off an older mid-large sized snowblower that wouldn t start. Friendly folk. They got it cleaned up and running. I appreciated they only replaced some small needed parts instead of defaulting to swapping in a new carburetor or something like that. Price was very reasonable as well for the work they had to do on this one. Will use again.

Took in 2 older snow blowers with blow belts and a few mirrors problems. These guys did a great job and was less then a week. Parts and labor were totally reasonable. They have some really nice newer snow blowers that caught my eye. A nice selection and cheaper than farm/fleet. What a great group of guys. Thank you again for your hard work and great service.

I cant recommend Haight enough! 320PM, Fitchburg, WI: 6-8 inches of snow in the driveway and decided to clear it getting just two swipes completed with my 15-20 year old Craftsman before the auger stopped working. 330PM: Called Haight and due to the age and description, its most likely the gearbox. 420PM: New Ariens snowblower dropped off at my house. 5PM: Driveway cleared of snow and crisis averted! Thanks to Bob for dropping it off and saving my back from the deep, wet, heavy snow. Thanks to Rob for answering my questions.Thats service during a snowstorm that hasnt ended yet. I cant recommend Haight enough!

Took my ancient Toro snowblower in for a long overdue overhaul including some repairs. Long list of things done. Was smart by getting it in before the snow flies. Figured this would be quite the bill, but ended up $125 for everything! Wow, amazing service and price. 1/10/2024 update: Finally a snowstorm to try it out on. Wow! The pull handle they replaced finally worked for first time ever (and on first easy pull) instead of electric starting, and what a difference in blowing heavy wet snow! I am so impressed !

Snow was anticipated the next day when I dropped it off but I didn t think they could get it done quick enuf with everyone wanting their snow blower. But Yay they called less than 24 hrs later to say it was done and ready for pick up. Price seemed fair and not a bunch of extras added on

Left these guys and gals a message with a part number I needed. They called me back in less than 1/2 an hour and set the part aside for me. So awesome. Interwebs just wanted me to Amazon everything. Glad I found these peeps.

Not a very good experience with Haights! Our riding lawn mower, needed a tune-up and blade sharpening! We were scheduled for a mobile service on May 16th, they emailed my husband that they needed to reschedule, due to human error, overbooking themselves, ok fine, 3 weeks out to June 6th. In the mean time we had to hire a service,$140.00. On June 6th, they called and said they could come early, ok fine. Tec helped get mower to the garage so he could work on it. Finished repair. Paid the man!!!!!! $373.71 Informed bank,. My hubby goes to mow, next day! The mower was running very rough, n would not stay running when trying to engage the mower. We called Haights tec thought maybe a seat switch was bad! But when he told me it would be another 25 days to fix, I blew my top!!!!!!! I called to apologize for my behavior, got the answering machine, no response! Sent them an email, no response!!!!! I do understand that it could need another part! Maybe you should test DRIVE them before leaving!!!!!!!! So now here we sit with a mower that is in worse running condition, then before we called! We thought oh mobile repair cool!!! NOT COOL!!!!!! You comment on your professional service?????? Where?????????? Lets get this mower running!!!!!!!!! Shouldnt you finish one job satisfactorily, before you go to another? Now we have to pay a frickin service again!!!!!!!!!! Very bad !!!!!!!!!!!!! And we were talking about taking our Ariens snowblower, in for winter!!!!!! NOT!!!!!!!!!!! Too nice a unit to let Haights touch it!!!!!!!

Josh provided excellent service while doing an at-home tune up for our push mower. He gave advice about the proper fuel to use, etc I also asked him for advice on the type of snow blower and riding mower to buy. Very impressed with his knowledge and with Haight s business overall. You shouldn t hesitate to use their services.

We bought our Ariens Deluxe Sno-Thro at Haights back in early November. Coming from Miami, Florida, we didnt know the first thing about snowblowers... but the folks at Haights really took the time to make sure we bought the product we needed, at a price we could afford. I recommend them!

Bob and Aaron have been servicing my Huskavarna chainsaw and Ariens snowblower for the past 3 years. They really saved me when I sucked wire into my snowblower intake. They repaired it and delivered to a friend, very responsibly. Yep, I upgraded after speaking with them and they delivered my new machine the next day. I bought my first snow blower from Haights when I first moved to Madison (Fitchburg) back in 2018. I used to live right down the road, so they were the closest small engine repair shop to my house. Ive since bought a chainsaw and had them refurbish my wood chipper. Since then, I moved to the other side of Madison. When I needed to upgrade my snow blower this winter, I didnt even bother visiting any of the small engine shops in my area. I went straight back to Haights because their customer service, timeliness, work, and prices cant be beat.

I ended up with a Gravely Pro-Turn 252 and am VERY pleased with not only the machine, but my entire experience. I will be back for all my service. They really know how to treat people!

Incredible, Ive got a city lot, ranch house, so not a big yard. Not a tool head, motor guy so I can get a little intimidated by these kinds of places. The moment I walked in I immediately felt comfortable. I overheard the sale guy talking to a customer about new lawnmowers. Asked a few simple questions and directed him to a slightly smaller mower. He really cared. I had a wimpy electric chainsaw sharpened, no problem. Got the bill and thought it was a typo because it was so low. First time Ive been motivated to write a review.

Helped me when others couldnt (or wouldnt). Ill be going here for tune-ups on the mower and snow blower.

I had my lawn tractor picked up from Haights after having a oil leak that wasnt fixed by replacing the oil pressure sensor, mower clunking when disengaged and intermittent starting issues. I was told the mower would be completed by 4 June. On 9 June the mower was finally returned and came back to me covered in bird poo and sap. 9 June I used the mower, and discovered it was still leaking oil. Called Haights and I was told I never mentioned the oil leak to their techs. I had relayed the oil pressure sensor swap and leak on several occasions including when I came in to purchase oil and filter. I was told they would look at it and determine wether they would charge me or not to pickup/deliver to fix the initial issue. I was told that they would prioritize the repair. I was told that the leak was coming from a leaking from the dipstick tube and they would order the part. Finally received the lawn tractor back on 7 July, ran the mower, parked it and came back to a large oil leak underneath the next morning. I called back and sent pictures and was told it could be picked up the next Monday. At this point theyve had the equipment for a month with no resolution to the issue. I decided to cancel the pick up and work with another repair shop. I have a pasture maintenance that has to be completed and I cannot afford to wait another month for proper diagnosis and repair. While they have been helpful it was dismaying to be told I never mentioned an oil leak (which I had) and that a service technician missed the oil sprayed all over the interior of the engine compartment and on the front axles.

Id been looking for a new chainsaw and a friend of mine suggested going to Haights. I stopped in just to have a look and wasnt planning on buying anything. The the sales people that helped me were so informative and so helpful that I ended up buying it right there on the spot. What a great recommendation from my friend!

Called ahead to ask about a treaded snow blower. Gave me recommendations and then stopped in the next day. The staff was friendly and greeted me as I walked in the door. Helped me make an informed decision and even helped me load the 300 lb machine into the bed of my truck with a ramp. Will definitely be returning for my landscaping and maintenance needs.

Were naive new-ish homeowners who neglected to do the proper maintenance on our snowblower at the end of last season, which therefore led to it not starting for us when we needed to this season. We took it to Haights to look at it for us and they were extremely kind and friendly from first phone call all the way through final pickup, even though it was probably silly that we had to bring it in in the first place. I appreciated that we werent judged or scolded as I have been by some other vendors re: home maintenance and everything weve been learning surrounding it. Prices are very fair and clearly posted, and they had our service done WAY quicker than we expected! They helped me unload and reload the snowblower into my car which was appreciated. Thank you to the whole team - especially Ross, Aaron and Jenny! Im sure well be back with other inevitable future work :)

We needed repair on our Kubota zero-turn mower. It was smoking whenever the mower was engaged. We also asked them to sharpen the blades. We had never had a repair done by Haights, but it was close to us, so we thought we would give them a try. They picked up and delivered our mower for a reasonable fee. The repair was completed in about two weeks (parts had to be ordered), which we thought was very good. The mower was returned to us in excellent working order. When my wife told me the total cost, I was very surprised at how low it was. I was expecting a lot more and I bet I would have paid a lot more at my dealer. Definitely recommend Haights and glad we decided to give them our business!

Originally called them to fix my snowblower. Fixed it so I could finish the season. Also did a mower tune for me for Spring. I decided to purchase a new snowblower from them and am very happy with the service and the attention they provided with good information on care and maintenance for both. I would not call anyone else. Their service was excellent! I had a 14-year-old Lawn boy. The pull-cord snapped and it would not stay running. I asked them to change the oil, sharpen the blade, tune it up and fix the issues. I had it back in about 24 hours. Only thing I might suggest is a separate queue or line at the store for repairs and one for sales.

My snowblower wouldn t stay running when I tried it at home. I looked for a place online, and Haight s had pretty good reviews so I thought I would give them a try. The check-in process was smooth, the employees were always friendly, estimated wait time was shown, and their prices are clearly posted. They did the work a little ahead of time for a fair price and were more than open to sharing advice for proper storage to avoid repeat service calls. They helped me load it back on my trailer and off I went. It s my only interaction with them, but I wouldn t hesitate to return or recommend them to anyone looking for small engine repair.

The experience I had buying a snow blower was terrific. The staff were friendly, very knowledgeable, etc. The price was same as at other places, but Haights set the machine up and delivered it to my garage which would have cost extra at other dealers

Or they will come and get your equipment and return it repaired if that works out better for you. I use Haights exclusively at my residence for lawn and snow equipment service plus all our Churchs lawn mowers and snow removal equipment are serviced by Haights.

Presented Haights with the challenge of getting a four-passenger, six-wheel tracked vehicle with a Kohler engine out of storage and running. Excellent work and speedy turn-around. They know small engines.

They Picked up my snowthrower, repaired it at a reasonable price, and then sold it for me. I ended up way better off than if I had tried to do any of this myself. Have been using them for years. Five stars up until recently. Came to fix my lawnmower, a simple blade fix, when I started it, it had other issues it never had before. They came back a week later to fix whatever they broke, and charged me more than the first time! A simple $120 bill somehow turned into $300 due to them not fixing the issue, or breaking something during the fix. In the mean time I had to pay a company to mow my lawn. Im not sure whats going on over there lately, but I will never use them again. Bad business practices. They lost a good, long term customer.

We had a lawn mower and a snowblower someone had given us. He took the time the older snowblower working and to show us how to use them. It was very inexpensive-- no fee for him to come to us, discount for multiple service.

Attracted by the superior Google ratings and was 100% satisfied! Friendly staff and you can tell they know what they are doing. Had my mower serviced at Engelhart last year. Looking back I felt I was over charged, the service was not as good, and if you dont have a certain brand mower they may not be able to help you. As long as Im a Madison resident Ill be a customer for life! Keep it up Bob and staff!

What could be easier? Call Haights. Set a date. Bob comes to your house on time. He fixes the mower and services the snowblower for winter. Youre set, and you pay a reasonable price for excellent service. This is my second year with Haights, and there will be many more.

Haights is a great place to have your equipment serviced. When calling larger shops and getting the usual around two weeks minimum speech to fix something on a machine I need asap does no good. Bob Haight came directly to our house to repair a snow blower that would not start. It was clear that he knew exactly what to do and he did it it short time. He came on the date and time promised. The snow blower works perfectly. His business card has a permanent place on our refrigerator door.

Good advice to me on a Toro that was not reparable. They did a good fix on my sons self propelled Toro. A bit off the beaten track but I enjoyed the trip to their shop and dealing with the on site technician.

Our Craftsman snow blower had been run out of oil. Bob said right away that sometimes a repair can be made and other times you have to replace the engine. Since we were in the process of selling our house, he came to the house to take the snow blower back to his place to do the work. He tried to make a repair & shared some options based on his experience. Unfortunately our engine was fried and he had to replace it. Since the exact replacement wasnt available, he had to do some research to find a compatible engine. He waited until we moved to our new house and then delivered the snow blower. It runs great now. I have never been treated so courteously and fairly. I highly recommend Haights Mobile Maintenance!

I would like to say he was terrible and not to use him, so I could keep him all to myself, but that wouldnt be fair..... So, he provided excellent service, was on time for the appointment and was very reasonably priced. Also, he provided some tips to help keep the mower running well. AND I didnt have to load the mower in the truck, haul it in and pick it up.

I was lucky enough that Bob had a cancellation in his busy schedule today! He did a great job cleaning up a snow blower we had not emptied last winter, and gave me a recommendation for a good gas stabilizer. Bobs a friendly guy, and I thought his prices were reasonable. I felt good about giving him our business!

Bob came out to do maintenance during the day and my lawn mower is singing once again. I even had a problem with my auto driver after the visit and he came out right away to look it over and get everything working perfectly. Highly recommend his services.

Riding lawn mower wouldnt start and luckily Bob was able to come the same day. Had it running right away and gave it a well needed tune up. Found a part that needed replacing and came back promptly after he ordered and received it. Thought the price was fair considering the convenience of not having to haul the beast somewhere. Nice, down to earth guy. No concern at all having him here while Im home alone with my two young children. So glad to have someone I can call to fix my machines summer or winter. Thanks Bob!

My experience with Haights was fantastic. Bob came on short notice and, without the part he needed, applied a quick fix to my mower to get it up and running. While the quick fix didnt hold, he ultimately ordered the part and returned to install it without charging me for any additional labor. With the right part and Bobs help, my mower is now as good as new.

I highly recommend Haights Mobile Maintenance service. Bob discusses problems with me over the phone, and he has made extra effort to squeeze me in at the end of the day during a holiday week. I will never go back to the traditional method of haulling my small engines to a shop. There is a wide range of service you can receive on service of things like appliances and engines, and you can trust Bob. He is as honest as the day is long. He has fixed both simple and complex problems for me and never talked down to me because of my lack of knowledge.
