We had a great experience with NCLC. Kevin was able to come out for a consultation/quote visit fairly soon after we first contacted them. We had an idea of a plan and he listened, asked if we were married to the plan or open to ideas, and then gave great suggestions that better matched our property setup and privacy issues. Landscaping was done within a couple weeks of that visit. Project manager Kaitlin on site for the installation was great and easy to communicate with. We had strong winds the night after the installation & NCLC came back out within an hour of contacting them about a tipping tree they staked all the trees to prevent further issues during this windy/rainy season. Overall we are happy with the work and the ease of communication during the planning & installation processes.

I had a backyard project which required extending a rock wall, building a patio, grading a hillside and planting new trees and shrubs. After reviewing proposals from several landscaping/hardscaping companies and checking out online reviews, I decided to hire North County Lawn Care. Their proposal cost was higher than some of the other ones but I felt that they would deliver a high-quality result. My first interaction was with Kevin who came out to do the estimate. He listened to what I wanted and helped me with design ideas. Jose and Adalberto did most of the work and they were a pleasure to work with. They were very friendly, polite and hardworking. I was very pleased that they cleaned up the site at the end of each day of the two-week project. Paul was the landscape designer and did a good job selecting the plants. Like the other members of the crew, Paul was very friendly and professional. After the project was completed there some small issues caused by the recent torrential rains. North County Lawn Care were very responsive and addressed my concerns the next day. All in all, I am very happy with the results and my neighbors are as well. Several have come by my house to admire my new backyard especially the new patio and sidewalk. For future projects I wouldn t hesitate to contact North County Lawn Care again.

Over a month ago I was behind one of their trailers and they shot at least 50 rocks at me. My car is covered and rock damage and their insurance is claiming that it s NOT their fault. After taking almost two whole months to respond theyre choosing to not help when it was the companies fault! (: I have every part of the incident on camera and I even slowed down the video to where you can see the rocks falling out of their truck. And they claim it wasnt on them!! Its from the road. No damage to the road would cause that many rocks to fly up hit me. Also, I watched the entire thing happen I was keeping my distance for a reason, you can t trust these guys to actually do things properly. This wouldn t have been an issue, but it wasn t just a few rocks. Not only is my bumper damaged. My hood was damaged and so was my front windshield. I provided pictures of all of that and they re still claiming it s not their fault. Plus the full video of it happening. Very untrustworthy and their drivers are very reckless on the road. Learn how to simply clean out the trailer before hoping on the freeway.

Highly responsive customer service with a commitment to making sure we were getting more than we could even picture. We shared what our property challenges were and they supported us with questions that got us to a vision of what it could be. Even then we didn t imagine it would be this beautiful. He also advised what they do for winterization and spring startup. He reprogrammed the module to run on the schedule we wanted. He did it all and he was very easy to work with. I got very tired of how bad my lawn looked so fired my previous lawn care service. Neighbors were using No Co Lawn Care, and their lawns/yard looked fantastic. Within one month, my lawn was completely transformed and looked beautiful. Ive had various work done on the yard (like fence repair) and the work has been excellent. I am very happy with the job they do and their personnel are very polite and professional.

We had a lawn irrigation system installed and a lawn rejuvenation done. It was a bit more expensive than we had planned on but decided to go ahead anyway. We thought the installation was going to be trenchless but it wasn t, however the finished product has turned out beautifully. The company was quick to respond to our initial inquiry. They got the job done in a timely and professional way. They have been very responsive to every question or need that we have had since the installation. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I purchased a home in December and a North County Lawn Care crew was onsite doing maintenance when we first viewed the home. Ever the optimist, I requested a card and it turned out to be so much more than a lucky accident. I contacted them for spring clean up, lawn & sprinkler system maintenance. The service has been fantastic. The process from booking the work, explanation of service to completion of the tasks has been universally professional, prompt and very well done. Big kudos to Josue who came by today to repair a damaged hose hub for the sprinkler system. He is a gem. All in all an excellent company and I highly recommend them.

We moved into a new residence that previously had a rainbird system tended to by North County Lawn Care. Nothing was working and we were very frustrated to see our gardens start to wither away. NCLC was booked for about two weeks which also added to the frustration, BUT the second I spoke to Josue most of that frustration melted away. This representative was attentive, knowledgeable, patient and expeditious in his work. He explained everything he needed to do, and there was no upscale pressure when giving me options. First they updated and repaired our 20 year old sprinkler system. Then they installed a beautiful set of path lights with up lights under the trees. *** Came again today to remodel parts of our drip system, install greenhouse water system and check our timer. Wonderful to work with always!

I got three different estimates for lawn rejuvenation after our remodel, and North County was an easy choice. Their concise estimate was completed within two days of contacting them, and it came in on the lower end and the most comprehensive. Two months later, my lawn looks fantastic. I was so impressed with the follow-up that Jeremy provided that I decided to continue with them using their maintenance program. The crew who worked on our landscape clean up, Leo, Jaime and Juan, worked very hard and long and left the areas of the yard looking very well cleared. Their work ethic is very strong! They did an excellent job of removing all the debris. They were accepting of our large doodle, who liked being outside with them. Their advice was helpful, solution-oriented, and surrounded by good communication from Kevin (the owner) down to his office and field staff. Once we were confident in their company and team, we talked about adding other services, to include a robot/automower. Though we hadnt previously used one, we were intrigued especially by the prospect of gaining time back that wed otherwise spend on the tractor. Though skeptical about the automower at first, were loving it now. Its a timesaver and helps us be more efficient with our outdoor work. There were some bugs to work out in the setup, but the NCLC team worked them out with detail, patience, and good communication. Highly recommended.

Work looks great and they managed an upset neighbor well. Communication about the job and timeline was lacking. The office kept asking us for the deposit even when that had been told the check was in the mail and the check was cashed without any confirmation of receipt or timeline given.

They were so responsive and thorough - even returning after dark to fine tune all the lights and set us up on a schedule so the lights come on and shut off automatically at dawn and dusk. We went with ZDC (Zoning, Dimming, Color) lights and they re so much fun. Landscape lighting really brings the property to life and gives us something interactive to play with in our yard at night. We re so happy with the results!

Ben from North County reached out to me when I was looking for a quote on turf for my back yard. I have zero creativity. Ben showed up on a Saturday morning, because I was busy all week. He took some time to get to know me and understand what direction I was looking to go with in back yard, we discussed a rough budget range, he took some measurements, and a half hour later he was showing me drawing designs for my back yard on his iPad. I was recently following one of there trucks and they decided to be rude and take off fast rolling coal and spit gravel at my vehicle if they decide to do things like this in a company vehicle what will they do to your lawn. Please be more respectful to other peoples property.

Kevin was very knowledgeable and North County Lawn was able to remedy the problem in a short amount of time. I will call on them again, when needed, and will definitely refer them to others in the future.

Our COA discovered a leaking irrigation pump and even though we were first told on the phone they wouldnt be able to get to it for a week, when the owner Kevin saw the urgency in getting our situation repaired, he had someone come the next day. Josue spent all day and repaired everything as well as cleared the brush that was in the way. He did a beautiful job!

They responded in a timely manner after we contacted them. Kevin reviewed the property do determine what needed to be done. Then he met with us to explain what was needed. The work they have completed is well done, detailed. The employees are responsive. We will write another review in six months or so.

I contacted North County Lawn Care to schedule an 11th hour sod installation in my small Bellingham back yard to ready my property in order to sell. Everyone I have spoken with and interacted with has been courteous, professional and extraordinarily timely with their communication. Their customer service is friendly and personable from the folks answering phones at the office to the various folks involved in my project. The end result was excellent as well. I had a perfect backyard lawn in 1 day. I highly recommend this business.

They did a wonderful job with our pavers and it was done quicker than they said.

After bad experiences (four-by-eight-inch edging trenches dug with edging equipment, edging burnout, re-fueling burnouts, lawn cut down to the dirt, ineffective aeriating, lack of moss and weed control, inadequate thatching, uneven cutting, bad equipment, large swaths of lawn left uncut), from five different local lawn and yard care companies, we finally needed a lawn rejuvenation. We tried North County Lawn Care as a hail Mary for our lawn. They were very clear in explaining the process, responsibility of watering and what the expected outcome would be. We had top-notch work done by Jeremy for one and a half days, with state-of the art equipment. My husband and I have never seen ANYONE work harder than he did. His attention to detail never waned (he has deep experience) making sure the job was done to perfection. The company follows up, ensuring the process is working. I can fully recommend this company, but if you are lucky enough to get Jeremy, you will not be disappointed.

Kevin and his team are the best! Weve engaged their services on three occasions and they absolutely knocked it out of the park each time. We live just off the runway at Lynden Airport and one of our favorite things about being here is seeing the airplanes fly in and out. An unfortunately placed shed blocked our views of the runway and prevented us from parking our Cessna in the yard behind our home (a dream of mine). Thanks to Dylan and team that dream is now a reality, they moved the old red shed and did a full backyard lawn releveling and we couldnt be happier! This is the second time weve used North County this year. Over the summer they removed all the overgrown plants around our house and planted new ones, this fall (today!) they are leveling and reseeding our lawn AND they moved our 25-year old shed (see photo)! We are so grateful for the care they put into everything, the shed move went without a hitch and they are working hard to get the lawn ready before all the rain comes next week. Whenever weve dealt with North County weve been impressed by their professionalism and high quality work. I have other services planned, I think the services rendered have been stellar, the communications from the office are appreciated, and the method for payment owed on services is very easy. I have been a client of North County for about 5+ yrs. Initially Kevin came by to quote me on a project that I didnt know how to manage. I had a collection of trees that had been planted for slope stabilization, some volunteers and out of control shrubs and weeds took over. I hadnt been sure which were good and which were problems. It turns out that one of my stabilizing trees had been shaded out and died because of my inaction. Not only was Kevin knowledgeable, he was able to trim everything properly, that afternoon, at the price we agreed on. And not only is the view improved, but the trees were saved. I am very grateful that we caught it before the remaining stabilizing trees were damaged. I could not have been be happier with the result. Over the years they have done both regular weekly landscaping maintenance and special projects for me at 2 different homes. They also take care of my irrigation, and go above and beyond. I had a issue this summer just as I was leaving town for 2 weeks, and had beds of new plants that needed daily water and had tried install a new misting system myself... Josue took care of it right away in my absence, and I came home to a happy healthy garden and a very reasonable bill to fix my mess. I am grateful to all the staff at NC, I know I can count on them.

I gave NCLC a 4 star review since my experience is an odd mix...I bought a house that NCLC worked with and their past work seems to be top notch. In meeting with their rep and discussing what needs to be done moving forward I feel that they will definitely earn a 5 star but I am holding out yet. :) Ill be back Im back...ok, now at step 2 (of 3) Step 2 is to strip the yard and lay down top soil and new seed. One of their workers named Jeremy just spent the entire day doing this! What an incredibly hard worker. Understandbably I have no grass right now but have a lovely yard of top soil and seed. I am patiently (attempting to) waiting to see how all his effort pays off. I will come back occasionally with updates but this all looks very good so far thank to Jeremy. Ok, not at step 3 yet but had an issue with a sprinkler head. Josue came over today from NCLC and fixed the problem AND found 2 other sprinkler heads that werent rotating right. He fixed thos and now all are good. Thanks Josue! He is just another classic example of NCLC expertise...nice guy too! Well, Josue did it again! He came to winterize my system and gave great answers to questions. A very knowledgeable gentleman. Thanks for being a good representative for NCLC. 10 out of 10.

I have had very good dealings with this company. Alvin (bed maintenance) is friendly, polite, competent and concerned with accomplishing the look that we want. Ben seems to be a good worker also. Josue (irrigation) does a good job with seasonal adjustment and things that I point out that might need attention. He s always ready to listen and fix/improve our irrigation system. As for the office personnel, Angee is amazing and seems to always be available to help or answer questions. The same for Tara. They both do a great job of informing us when schedules change, or special maintenance will occur. The only reason I gave them a 4 star is because of their pricing. They are very expensive.

We used North County Lawn Care for our patio project. We had pavers and synthetic grass installed. From our first correspondence with Ben I knew this was a company with a lot of knowledge and experience. We made quite a few changes along the way and Ben was always accommodating and patient with all our back and forth, and supplying us with new quotes. NCLC has been instrumental in turning my sad yard to a gorgeous yard. I purchased my home a year ago and it was a weedy, mossy mess of a lawn and no real landscaping to speak of. The guys have been very helpful making my lawn and beds come to life. I ve had to request extra weed control services because the lawn was so rough, the staff always gets back to me & let s me know when I can expect the services requested on top of my regular services. When we bought our house, the previous owners had let the landscaping become a bit overgrown. North Coast Lawn Care was able to come in and see the vision of what was there while also alerting us to some issues that existed (like a tree with a rotting base that needed to come down ASAP). They were upfront about pricing, including when the estimate for the tree work had to change, and fair about splitting the difference in cost. We also contracted with them for the ongoing maintenance needs and they do an excellent job of cleaning up the leaves and fallen debris, as well as keeping things neat. We ve been extremely happy with the quality of their work and they ve always been happy to answer my questions about the landscaping. The office has also been lovely to talk to whenever I ve had to call.

Installed our Husqvarna Robot Lawn Mower and wow do we love it! Kevin walked us through all the details and now we have total peace of mind that we made the right decision. Awesome customer service and great attention to detail. Highly recommend.

North County Lawn Care has been keeping my front and back yard looking like a park. Very expensive. Any warranty requires you to use their maintenance services year round. If you touch any of the equipment, it may void any implied warranty.

I typically don t leave reviews, but North County Lawn Care did an amazing job. I m a firm believer that customer service is a dying art, but their service was top notch. The crew was amazingly (I don t use that word lightly) fast. I mean efficient, not corner cutting for the sake of speed. Every day they were on the job progress was noticeable. The job site was always left clean as possible, and stakes were covered in some fashion for safety. I have multiple gates and they were always left secured. It only took a few minutes to ensure, but it was always done, which was huge to me. The workers were strikingly quiet. Unless a power tool was running, it was hard to tell they were there. It took me a day or two to put my finger on it, but there was no radio blaring. Godsend if you or your neighbors have a newborn. The ad hoc suggestions from the crew, such as you ok if we put a clean out in? It wasn t on the drawing, but could come in handy. This level of proactive thinking was a constant throughout the short (again, unbelievably efficient) job. Bottom line, I love the end result and will use them for any job in the future without hesitation.

We had North County demo/haul off our old patio and brick pavers and furnish/install new premium synthetic turf. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and tidy. The end product looks amazing, were so pleased with their work. Well definitely reach out for our next outdoor project!

The North County Lawn Care team did a great job of coming in providing us a couple of different options as to what type of irrigation system we may want to have installed at at our house and gave us what we thought was a fair and acceptable quote. From the day they started working up until the very last day they came in on time everyday and made sure to clean up everyday. The North County Lawn Care team did a great job of answering all of our questions and taking the time to go over various different ways we could water our hanging baskets, our potted plants as well as our yard. We found them to be very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. Even after the installation was complete, whenever weve called North County Lawn Care and they have been quick to respond to our calls and happy to help us in any way they could to make sure that we were satisfied.

I choose North County based on the good work they did on my neighbors yard: they transformed it. I would recommend them for any yard work you might have done based on the great job they did on my yard and my neighbors. North County clean out the side of my house and sowed grass seed. Their workers were kind and worked the whole day until the project was finished. The grass was growing in 4 days and was looking very green after a week. North County also redid my rock in front of the house and it looks great. I was very pleased with North Countys work product and will contract with them again for other yard projects I have. They were amazing. Kevin and his crew worked fast to clear a rotting tree that could crush our house. They skirted and thinned some trees to open up our view. Fast and professional. Cleaned up and great communication. I will use them again for sure!

NCLC is one of the most affordable lawn services, with no cut to frequency or quality. Wonderful customer service and very fast lawn landscapers, even with my weird shaped lawn and annoying dog. They even whack the neighbors blackberry vines that come through the fence. My whole family has grass allergies and keeping the lawn short is life saver. Thanks you guys!

I couldn t be happier with the work North County Lawn care did at my house. They were quick to get out to do the clean up. My flower beds look great! They even worked in the rain which was totally unexpected but very appropriated.

A little before and after on a recent project we had done through North County Lawn Care. The last two pictures are the before shots and in the last one I tried to get a good view of how wonky the patio was before; it sloped down towards our foundation. To remedy that, North County Lawn Care helped us plan a new and leveled patio. It feels so good to see this project completed! The whole team was super responsive and helpful during the planning process. To make way for the new patio dimensions, they relocated a tree and a french drain we had in the way. They also placed my stepper pavers back into position in the newly refreshed limestone rock area near the gate; a nice attention to detail! Our project included backyard irrigation, a new expanded patio which included a 2ft wall, extensive up lighting throughout berms. With Kevin s creative eye & suggestion we got awesome lighting in deck pavers & on wall....all to enhance the really cool waterfall coming out from 2 areas of wall. Kevin s vision came to life in our backyard...we couldn t be happier with the results...what was promised was delivered twofold.

Omg !! Is all I say when I look at my beautiful yard at my home after Kevin Wiebe and North County Lawn Care totally took it over and made it look incredible with new plants and the way they laid all the plants out and it s like a magazine !! They came in and added sod to my yard and it is incredible!!! I can t believe I live at this house !! I will spend so much more time sitting in my back yard now just gazing at the beautiful work Kevin and his awesome crew did. I mean it so beautiful!! The colors of plants are awesome and what they chose was so right .

Above and beyond - thats the short of it. During the height of the busy season I requested a quote for installing a new front yard for our newly-constructed home. The front yard portion is close to 15,000 sf, so not a small job. Not only was their price very competitive to the other bids we received, but they agreed to a small fee increase for a rush job. Their crew came out in the evening and VERY early morning to get the job done within a few days. They worked the odd hours so as to not affect service to their other clients who were already scheduled. Not only that, but they did an outstanding job of completely transforming our front yard. Their bid was a little short on the amount of dirt we needed, so they added another 20 yards free of cost instead of just shortening the area we wanted installed. Outstanding. As a business owner myself, I know the value of maintaining good client relationships. They worked very hard to keep their current clients happy, as well as working extra hours in order to gain a new client. Thats how you run a good business model. Outstanding, outstanding, outstanding - we will return for all our lawn care services. I highly recommend to anyone reading this to get at least 3 bids, but make sure you factor-in the quality and level of service you will receive.

You know something is right and good when the whole neighborhood is exclaiming that your lawn in beautiful. While I have knowledge of many areas of horticulture, turf is not one of them, and we inherited a horrible lawn when we moved to our new home. I realized after a month of trying to get a handle on it that I needed more help. After talking with some folks in the area, and a couple of other services, we called NCLC. After visiting and site review, we set up a lawn rejuvenation program and after 3 or 4 months, our lawn is spectacular. Going forward we have decided to do an annual program to maintain it. The staff are responsive, honest, forthcoming, and good listeners. The field crews are experienced, hard working, and friendly. The office staff were patient as I worked through a hundred questions. I highly recommend NCLC.

I had a new hedge installed along my back fence to help lower road noise. It looks beautiful. The team they sent were amazing. Hard workers, professional, friendly and did a great job. Even cleaning up when they completed the job.

I love this company! After trying several other companies either not showing up, not calling us back or telling us the job was to small, we found North County! They were professional, timely and spot on for their quote and work done. They helped us every step of the way and communicated with us beautifully. They do amazing work!

We are so delighted with our new front yard. Kevin and his crew did a phenomenal job! Before choosing his company for the job, we got several other bids. What caused us to pick him were his ideas and the time he took with us during our consultation. He listened to what we thought we wanted and then he suggested alternatives, which we had never thought about doing. We basically had just a lawn, a small tree and a couple bushes. Now we have color, texture, character and a beautiful new yard. In addition to many other things, he transplanted our tree and transformed a large bush into a focal point - something that never occurred to us to do. He also added lighting, which transforms the yard into an entirely different look at night. The driveway was too narrow and they added paver walkways to both sides of the driveway and tiled our front steps. Jose and his men worked tirelessly though rain, wind and cold weather and always showed up with friendly smiles. One of them could sing pretty good too! We live on a street near a trail and have lots of foot traffic. We have received so many compliments from people walking by and several neighbors have even come over to tell us how nice the yard looks. We loved working with Kevin, Jose and his crew and all of the people who came and worked on various aspects of the job. Sonya and Angie, who work in the office, were also very nice and helpful. Everybody was friendly and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend North County Lawn Care!

I contacted Kevin to to weed, trim, and put new bark on the berm in front. As usual he and his team do amazing work! It was completed above my expectations when I got home the next evening!

Lawn care is good. Prices are kind of high and not as affordable as I had hoped.

North County Lawn Care was literally worth their weight in gold when we purchased our home and made the move From CA to WA. Our home had trees that needed to come down, landscaping that was neglected/overgrown and grass that was completely dead. The roof and gutters were a mess and all the concrete work needed cleaning and sealing. North County did it all in record time, with integrity and professionalism. They recovered our irrigation system, reseeded and recovered our lawn in 3 weeks. We moved into a home that was cleaned and manicured. All hardscape was cleaned, roof was power washed, gutters were cleaned out and all trees trimmed and removed if needed. Spectacular service. Every person working for North County is awesome, professional and helpful with great attitudes. We look forward to a very long relationship.

They completely rejuvenated our yard!

Crew arrived at the time I was told they would arrive, and got right to work. When I spoke to the lead he asked me if I had specific things I wanted done to the shrubbery. I asked for a great tree cut back due to the ice storm that had ravaged my park strip trees. I also asked him to trim up the other shrubs (cut them back 2-3 feet) he was happy to do so. After the work was done the yard was cleaned up to the point you wouldn t have even known they were there, the shrub work was doing me perfectly! These guys did a superior job, recommend them highly!

We are very happy with the owner and the crew. They worked within our budget to provide exactly what we needed to fix the drainage in our backyard. They were very fast and efficient.

Owner was rude, obnoxious and overcharged. Damaged property and refused to acknowledge. Made my wife very upset with the whole situation and cost. The other reviews are from friends of the owner.
