Ace Landscaping Lawn Care-Snow in Ferndale

Ace's customer service and quality of service that they provide is honestly unbelievable. Keith came out to access my lawn and not only gave me a very reasonable quote to have plug aeration done to my lawn but also gave me a ton of tips for caring for my lawn aside from that. He also sent me a PDF explaining core aeration just because he's great. I will always use Ace for any landscaping I need in the future.

Had my back yard hydro seeded after a sewer repair. They got me a bid in one day and came out to do the work within a week. They did a great job and were available to answer all my questions. Very highly recommended.

We had ACE come and redo some of our landscaping and put a small area of pavers in. Sherry came and did some measuring and offered up suggestions for shrubs and a tree that were lower maintenance for us. She was very prompt with our quote and they were finally able to get the job done in between the rainy days. We are very happy and would recommend their company. The crew was pleasant and friendly, especially Eddie who is very personable. Sherry was extremely patient with us and our changes and we appreciate that.

I LOVE this company! Skilled, ethical, and considerate. When John asked me, “Do you want to see the lake standing —or sitting?” I knew JUST the right amount of hill was going to disappear. Retaining walls, patio, boulders, drainage…. Not only does everything “work” —it’s a joy to look at. Super communication. Prompt, clean, professional people. Exceptionally kind. ACE solved problems a former company ignored —or caused, and ACE worked under time constraints as well. Another reviewer said hiring ACE is “like hiring family.” I vote Better! Kudos to the whole ACE company with special appreciation to both John, who created unique solutions, and his son, Mike. Both listened to my many words, understood, and built my dream.

We unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with Ace. First, their sales rep, Keith, misled our company about the terms of our snow removal contract. When we called to ask questions, we were told to either accept it as is or find another company to work with. Switching to another snow removal provider after the season starts is very difficult (which Ace knew when making this ultimatum). Second, on a couple occasions, Ace charged us for plowing and salt applications when nobody visited our office (verified by outdoor security cameras). Third, when the owner of Ace came to explain that they would no longer provide service, due to our questions about the veracity of their charges, he hit one of our employee’s vehicles. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, Ace wouldn’t even pay for the entire damage to her vehicle. I would strongly urge others to take their business elsewhere.

Last summer we had to have our sewer line replaced and we needed some real help this year fixing the weed infested mound in our front yard. Sherry came out to give us an estimate and was a real pleasure to work with! She offered expert knowledge in plant care and landscape design and provided a very thorough quote for each portion of our project including removing clay and adding topsoil, mulch, decorative shrubs, ornamental grasses and a new brick paver walkway. We received other quotes from landscapers, but none were as knowledgeable as Sherry. While other landscapers wanted to jump in right away and lay pavers, Sherry cautioned that we may want to wait until the spring to see if the ground will sink any more (not enough rain/snow over last winter to settle it completely). That kind of attention to detail and willingness to share knowledge is important to us, it probably saved us several thousand dollars if we had to do the project over again. ACE sent a great group of workers out over two days and they did an incredible job on our entire yard! Sherry left us with detailed instructions for watering and plant care and really could not have been nicer :) When springtime rolls around again, we ll be calling ACE back to our house to do the brick walk. As a small business owner myself, it is a real pleasure to deal with another business owner who cares about what they are doing. Keep up the good work ACE!

Ace has been handling my lawn cutting / snow removal needs for years and done a great job. Dependable and reasonably priced. Recently they redid a large part of my rear landscaping after I had a big tree removed. The tree company had to move in some large equipment and resulted in significant damage to my (& the neighbors) lawn. I hired Ace to straighten out the landscape ... fill, hydro-seed, etc. They did the job at a competive price and the result is a seamless repair. All I had to do is water per their recommendations.
