My landsape technician, Myron, showed up to perform service. Again he was very professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. On this visit he was training another technician, which reflects his abilities as a leader and instructor. I had questions about dead spot, he recommended spiking the dead areas, and adding black cow compost. He reassured me that he thought we could get it turned around and looking good. Great service again.

The TruGreen employee who aerated my yard today did an excellent job. He was quick and very professional. When he was finished it looked like my yard was lightly tilled. I am going to plant some grass seed now that my yard has been aerated properly.

Tru Green tech Malikie did an excellent job. Before he began his tasks, he explained the process and answered all my questions. Malakie also noted my concerns and hopefully the next treatment in the coming weeks will reflect those concerns.

I want to start with the statement that ALL of your service personnel are fantastic. And I could be happier with them. Now to the problem; weve had all our ornamental shrubs and trees sprayed for insect and fungal problems for almost 2 years now, without eliminating the problem for even 1 year. Ive also called for repeat applications 20 days or so after some of our treatments which were done at no charge, but with no better results and these scheduled treatments are not inexpensive. But it seems youve perfected the art of stopping a problem for weeks without allowing the home owners the option to eliminate a process without losing their precious shrubs and trees. Im requesting a call from someone whom might be able to have an informative conversation about my thoughts. Thx, Donald Juiliano

I do not recommend it because the weed control is working and has not for years. I had 2 other lawn service companies come to analyze my lawn with the many areas that have no grass growing. The areas continue to get larger each year. Both lawn care services stated I had a grub problem - True Green never mentioned that may have been an issue of why the grass is not growing. the keep applying fertilizer and wee control The weed control applied this season 3 times - has not eliminated the same weeds in the same areas of the yard. One result, more weeds continue to spread and the spots in the yard are increasing. Besides, I have moles all over my front, side, and back yards. Moles have been in my yard for the past 2 years. Moles go where there is food (grubs and worms). It is said that a person pays for multiple treatments that the product produces poor results. I recommend looking elsewhere for lawn services like H and H Lawn Care Services.

Darryl did and amazing job explaining things to me and the process of weeds dying. He walked me around my entire property to show me the areas that the chemicals were working. He was patient and answered all my concerns. I greatly appreciated his patience and professionalism. He is the only specialist I trust tending to my yard.

Customer service is terrible. Cant speak to an office. Speak to overseas who cant help you with everyday problem. Had one spray so far. Dandelions werent even touched. Waiting for 2nd spray on 3/18. Dandelions are hard to kill but this company will come back in between sprays. Lots of questions answered. Excited about my next service! Looking for that green yard!

You debited my account for $47.16 under the heading of Truegreen/collection. You do not have permission to debit my account. This is the second time I have had an issue with your company debiting my account. I was told that the season was over and that there would not be any winter services. My services were to start again in March or so. What you did is unauthorized and I consider the debit of my account to be THIEF. I will call you the first thing this morning when you open. I have never had a company that feels they can just steal money out of my account. I always pay for my seasonal services in advance and in full. Check the record. I have never allowed your company to just debit my account. I am highly offended that you feel you can just steal money from my account. I do not recall agreeing to any winter services. Last time you did this I told you to remove my credit card/debit card from your records. You said you did remove my debit card information, however that appears to be a lie. Your company appears to be unprofessional. You will return my money to my account or I will go down to the Magistrates office and place a charge against you for theft of money from my account. Im Leaving the part where they called me about bugs in my shrubbery I canceled a year ago due to them calling me up saying I needed to treat my shrubbery for bugs. My comment to the person I was talking to on the phone was, Thats funny I dug up all my shrubbery 1 month ago how can this be.

The person who signed me up did not tell me the truth on cost and my appointments have been cancelled three times and NEVER NOTIFIED. Then I got charged and outrageous amount when I called the very last time I only wanted the treatment for 40.00 dollars and not to charge anything more than the 40.00 dollars when I called to see why noboby showed up for a scheduled visit. Quick response and very quick to come out and treat our yard! We re looking forward to the spring to see the actual benefits of TruGreen! We had been doing doing it ourselves for years & our yard never was still not in the best condition. We want a very green lush yard so we decided to hire the pros!

Applied an insecticide to trees and shrubs.

I used this company for about 6 months and that was way too long. The most recent incident was today when they arrived for a lime treatment. My wife was home and the employees spoke to her, and within 10 minutes they were gone. My yard is over half an acre and they were applying pelletized lime with a push spreader. Impossible to do that much work in that amount of time. They were just simply not doing the work and charging me for it. I had suspected this on previous visits but was never home to prove it. So I call the customer service and was told they would redo the application at no cost, they assured me they would send someone that they could count on. I appreciated this but in my frustration I ask, why wouldn t you send someone you could count on the first time? The rep stated that he didn t control who was sent. So I ask, how can you assure me that you re sending a trusted employee for a reapplication if you don t control who is sent? Immediately he started backtracking, and stated that he can control all aspects of the business. So I politely ask if he can control closing my account. He quickly closed it, and did not try to talk me out of it. Pretty much admitted they were not doing the hired job and that he was just giving lip service to attempt to keep my business. I would not use this company again. But if you do, I would advise only allowing them to work when you are at home to watch and assure they do the work you are paying for.

This is the first time I had this company come out to my house I appreciate the knowledge that the lawn care guy gauge to someone didnt know too much about the lawn which was a very good experience.

On more then one occasion they showed up with equipment to large to fit through my fence because they thought I was a commercial lot. After the first time they said they put it in their notes, only to repeat the same action. I have called more times than I care to remember to resolve payment issues regarding them randomly charging me. As we speak I am on hold (for the third time as they bounce me back and forth from departments) as we try to figure out why I have two charges on my account that no one has an answer for.

Overall Recommend. Background - Ive had past negative experiences with TruGreen (9+ years ago). I am about to leave the area for an extended period and decided to try TruGreen again. Besides some initial minor inconveniences, I am pleased with my experience so far. I need something dependable, brand-name quality, and efficient. My previous negative experience (another state) have so far been upended by the Fayetteville TruGreen team.

This was the second time I used this company and so far I am pleased.

Approximately two and half months ago, I called Trugreen to request that they would treat my lawn for wild onions. They sent one of their maintenance personnel out to my house to treat my lawn after they Trugreen, treated my lawn, within three to four weeks, my grass began to grow, I must admit, at this time after one of Trugreen maintenance people treated my lawn, my grass started to die throughout, and I would confess that I am totally disappointed and displeased at this stage of my Trugreen Service. I have called Trugreen on numerous occasions since this problem with my lawn, to inform the manager or supervisor about my discussed, but to no avail, because after being told by various people, that someone would be contacting me to discuss my concerns, but up to date, I have not had the pleasure of speaking to someone or somebody to hopefully rectify my problem with my lawn. At this time and date, Im totally dumbfounded.

If you care about your shrubs and grass appearance, this is the route to go. Trugreen has truly made a difference in my grass appearance. It was depressing so suddenly have brown and bald spots in my grass after all these years. I contacted Trugreen, and they resolved my issues. By this time next year, I should have a golf course appearance.

Supposedly they put fertilizer down and done the whole yard but I dont see it possible done correctly by one tech in a short time. I only saw him doing part of the yard but said the whole yard was done. I feel like my yard isnt being taken seriously for what they promise in their packages. The technician left a pdf summary of today s service that stated he knocked on my door to speak to me but no one was home. That is inaccurate as I spoke with the technician before service because he wanted me to open my gate.

We have not had time to spend in our yard as we did ,so hired tru greenso far weeds are dying and hope to get our yard back in shape.

First, even though your digital presence is impressive, it also seems to ask for multiple reviews for the same visit. This is the second request for todays treatment so far and I dare say, based on the last visit, there will be more. Second, heres what I wrote in the first review for today: Jacorie is a nice curteous young man. I noticed that as he was applying lime, he stayed well clear of the driveway and sidewalk and there are no overspray granules on either. With all the pine trees and moss I have, I want to make sure that every blade gets treated in the future. Please note in my account that I will take care of any overspray and to please make sure you get out to the edges and into the corners. No need to follow up with me.

I just renewed my service to include the tree treatment. I watched the very heavy set guy pull up. Hooked up a hose and commenced to do my lawn and trees. I went to my gate to give him access to the back. He went back to his vehicle and by the time I got back to the room he was driving away. I had to fire another company for this piss poor service. They need supervision!

They did a free estimate to fix my lawn that they damage in the first place to earn back my business, and after reviewing the paperwork with my wife she didn t want to move forward with it. So a supervisor at the Fayetteville NC branch called me and was very disrespectful and rude to me when I told him my wife didn t want to move forward with it. I wouldn t Recommend them to anyone ,save the trouble and use smaller lawn care companies.

WASTE OF MONEY. I have had this service for almost a year and my lawn actually looks worse than it did before they started. I have called many times to complain and all they can say is that they will send someone for a reapplication. They will not return your money even though the service is garbage. Really wish I had listened to all of the poor reviews before I signed up.

The Technician showed up on time and explained what he was going to do as in testing the soil and putting down what was needed. Upon completion I got a print out of the state of the yard and what was added. Couldnt really think of any way to improve something that isnt broken. I will post and add updates and photos as the lawn progresses.

My service date has changed 3 times and when I call them, I get a call service in the Caribbean...

This company does NOT mow lawns even though it is self described in their Google services.

I dont know who is more to blame, the local trugreen folks or just trugreen in general... I signed up for their lawn care plan, this was supposed to include services to address bare/dead spots; my lawn ended up looking worse after a year with them. And to top it all off you cannot simply just cancel service, trugreen doesnt allow you to cancel on their website, instead you have to call in and go through 6 layers on their phone system before you get sent to what seemed to be an overseas outsourced call center where you then have to convince the person taking the call that you actually do want to cancel your service. Absolutely horrible.

Shrubs are worst off now. Book 4 months ago. I ve seen them once. The took my money and ran. Update. 11 months later after a solution. Thousands of dollars spent. So ridiculous.

Have used them for 3 years and our weeds have multiplied every year even though we have complained several times. Recently they burned our yard in several spots. We have called repeatedly to speak to a manager with absolutely no luck. It appears Mr. Joshua Teague / TruGreen doesn t appreciate our business. Just picked up a centipede calendar maintenance calendar schedule from Triangle Turf and Ornamental in Aberdeen NC. We will buy our chemicals directly from them and apply ourselves. Triangle rep seemed to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Impossible to do worse than TruGreen!!!

This company was a huge disappointment for me. They are totally unreliable on the schedule. I did a prepaid contract. The last service went out to almost 8 weeks. I canceled and I ll seek other alternatives or learn how to do this myself.

The pest spray doesnt work. The tree, shrub and lawn service are unreliable. There were 3 different sets of dates in the system for my services and after the first two no call, no show, that was all I needed to see. Done. Canceled. Just awful. Almost to the end of the season, and the lawn looks terrible. I watched the guy apply the lime (he didnt know I was home), and it was a joke. He flew around erratically with barely anything coming out of the spreader. The customer service reps lie. I could go on and on. Just avoid them unless you feel like throwing your money away. Total racket!

In my experience I let a lot slide and then I just couldnt deal with this company anymore. First they were over billing me by over-measuring my yard. Second technicians show up intoxicated and clearly were not fully trained other than how to operate the machinery. The last straw was when corporate promised to do better and then bills me when cameras show they never showed up due to rain TWICE. No notes are left when they promise to leave reports, how is this place in business? F--... but if you call and complain they give you 10% off... And please trugreen, when you read this, dont bother. I tried talking to you guys, and received lip service and gave you another chance. And when I realized you hadnt come for months and you were billing me I tried calling only to be put on hold. So when I was fed up of waiting on hold to talk to someone, I tried to cancel over your chat and magically the CSR lost connection and I had to start the whole process over... I have had TruGreen services for several years now. The service techs have always been professional, provided timely updates for arrivals, and provides answers/suggestions to the questions I have asked when they are here.

We ve used Trugreen for a few years and when our yard was invaded this year with humongous grassy weeds they were not helpful. We spent 2 days weed popping gianormous weeds that filled up the bed of a Dodge Ram. NoT a happy customer yo say the least. On another note. Our neighbors who have no lawn service hasn t been affected by the same issues. Hmm???

Since 2015, I ve been a prepaid, annual customer. Up until June 15, I ve been a happy customer. On June 7, I requested the lawn supervisor meet me at my home on either June 15 or 16, after 2 pm, to conduct a lawn inspection with me, as weeds are winning the battle in my lawn. On June 8 and 14, Trugreen customer service reps assured me the lawn supervisor had been scheduled for 15 June to come inspect my lawn. However, a service tech came to treat my lawn for weeds, no supervisor. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the tech who said he would be sure to let the lawn supervisor know how I felt. On 15 June, I followed up calling a Trugreen customer service rep requesting the lawn supervisor call me regarding this matter. On 16 and 17 June, I received calls from customer service reps inquiring how they may help me. I informed them I wanted to speak with the lawn supervisor, Mr. Joshua Teague, as I was promised a visit from him, and that he was a no show for our scheduled appointment, coupled with several previous requests for him to call me. Here we are over 96 hours later and no call from Mr. Teague. It is very obvious to me that he does not intend to call me nor does he value me as a loyal and faithful customer. On five occasions, I attempted to handle this issue at the lowest level, and it has gotten me nowhere. As a result, I have no choice but to write a negative google review and hope to hear from the owner as others have who have written positive and negative reviews.

Lawn looks much better. Weeds getting under control. Further, using your treatments and suggestions, the grass is filling in the bald spots.

Found out a couple weeks ago that the technician thought i had Bermuda and centipede grass so he applied the appropriate fertilizer for those types of grass. Problem is, i have Tall Fescue Sod and i noted that when i purchased my contract. Within weeks, my yard has died and Im only able to reach call center representatives for help. This is heartbreaking

They know just the correct things to put down to make my lawn look good.

They do a good job

TruGreen will not do anything for you if you have a struggling/dead lawn. I hired Trugreen for approximately the past year or so and in that time my lawn has not improved at all. They only sprayed the front yard which coincidentally turned worse than my side and backyard. I raised concerns with management to try and fix my sandy and dead spots but they sent a regular technician out who just sprayed more fertilizer. No soil analysis no seeding just more fertilizer. My next door neighbor started lawn treatment around the same time as I started TruGreen with regular weed and feed from Home Depot and has made his yard way better than my paid services. True Green is a waste of money and I will not be recommending them to anyone in the future at any time.

Getting billed for service NOT rendered. Also, their several treatments have proven to be very ineffective in terms of eliminating weeds in my lawn. I do not recommend them. Negative

James newsome was very knowledgeable about lawns and told me exactly what to do over the months of treatment. I now have a deep green beautiful lawn. He did the aeration a few weeks ago and it looks amazing.

Our lawn is burnt. Multiple phone calls to correct the issue. No return phone calls. Debited our account for services not complete. I highly recommend to not us this company.

We used Trugreen for a year and our grass looked worse every month they came. When I called they would always try to sell more services. I paid for a year in full and then they automatically renewed my year and kept sending me bills. When I called to cancel they still did not remove the charges. I will never use them again. I paid for them to kill my brand new sod at a new house. My dad started fertilizing my yard and it now looks the best it ever has within a few months of them not coming. I do not recommend. They do not know what they are doing.

A tech came out and treated my lawn with Celsius. This chemical is not to be used on fescue lawns. Afterwards they told me mole crickets killed my lawn. Never ever heard of mole crickets or saw any evidence. TruGreen is now trying to repair the damage and I give them credit for stepping up. I am waiting to see final results before I am satisfied. I am pulling for them. They have a lot of good folks on their team.

Dana has continued to do a very good job with my lawn. At first I was concerned about the rain vs lack of rain, but she explained how some of the products need to be watered in and some of them need to be dry (I mistakenly thought every product had to be dry). Which shows me that she is paying attention to when she is applying the product properly acording to the weather. This season she has completely eradicated the broadleaf weeds in my yard and the bermuda is looking much healthier.Were now past the season and into pre-emergent, and Im excited to see what progress I will make next year with eliminating the crabgrass, so that I can thicken up the bermuda even more in the future.I gave a 4 of 5 because no company is perfect, and one thing I would like is if the service emails contained specific information about the application being performed on the day they are being performed, instead of me having to call to find out. Sometimes the phone messages before the service contain these details; sometimes not. This has nothing to do with the specialist though (its an automated syste), and Dana has been awesome to work with.

BEWARE!!!! Ruined my Parents beautiful green lawn. Now it s just sand, weeds and very little grass. I would give no stars if I could.

Our plants and shrubs received a disease and fungus treatment from Josh yesterday. He is very professional and wants to ensure that we are satisfied with the service each time he comes.

My house is rented and the tenant did not took care of the lawn. Contacted TruGreen, and after a few weeks you can notice the difference on the lawn.

Dana H did a very thorough job on our yard and explained what she was doing and what we should do in the future.

I recently cancelled with TurGreen after they violated my trust. Over the last year I was suspicious they were not treating my entire yard or shorting the quantity of product they were applying. My suspicion resulted from the status of my lawn not having the appearance it should and view the technicians skip certain areas. It was clear an adequate amount of fertilizer and pre-emergent had not been applied. This past week, I watched the technician on camera treat only half of my front yard. He did not treat the side yard, back yard, and half the front. However, he noted on the receipt he did. When I called TruGreen to cancel they never apologized and didnt even offer to refund my treatment payment. It was only after I asked for a refund did they agree to it. Realistically, I would expect a partial refund for my entire years worth of payments.

I have had TruGreen for the past 18 months, even had a treatment done last night . Today, I had two Salesmen from TruGreen come by to sell me TruGreen because my lawn looked to be in serious distress and full of weeds. They then asked who had been tending to my yard. When I replied TruGreen, they looked at eachother and said, Seriously? They then typed my address into their tablet, thanked me for being a customer and bid me gooday. TruGreen does offer multiple services and makes good on promises of retreating if weeds are persistent. I have requested retreatment multiple times in between scheduled treatments. When the tech suggests holding off to ensure we dont over fertilize or treat the yard, I go with their suggestions. TruGreen allows me to pay the entire year in advance and offers a discount for that option. I have noticed a greener yard, just more and more weeds along with it. I rate them 3 out of 5 as the weeds persist, their sales team came by on their door to door rounds not first checking to see if I was a customer, and thirdly for trash talking their companys 18 months of handiwork in the process of their sales script/pitch. Edit: Upgraded to 4 stars. I now have a new technician tending to my yard, and they seem very knowledgable and confident that they can get my yard up to par.

If you want your lawn ruined, then use TruGreen. They will eventually screw your lawn up. I had a beautiful Bermuda lawn, and they came out to do a core aeration. Through their negligence my lawn was destroyed . They will lie to you, piss on you, and tell you it is raining. Use a local small owned business.

The staff is so knowledgeable and caring. They explain things to me when Im there, and leave detailed notes when Im not. I feel like my lawn is in great hands!

Yard looks very good this season and visually weed free. Our service person is very professional and lets me know what is going on with the yard.

Mike Gordon is my specialist and he makes a difference with TruGreen by his excellent service. I met him in the yard and we discussed the plan for the day. He walked the yard and look and several areas making minor adjustments to make sure I was happy with the results. My yard is 100% better than when I was doing the applications myself. TruGreen has made the difference in my yard and my shrubs.

So totally over solicitors knocking on my door. There are signs posted at the neighborhood entrance and on my door.

Where do I begin? Ok there was a tech working down the street from where I live and I flagged him down. Talked about the services they provide and I told him the aeration should be after first treatment as I don t have all my sprinkler heads flagged. He said ok. He gave me a number to call and I did. We set up the plan and I was told I would be getting a call as to my first application date. I wanted to be there first time. I took the day off. No call. I called the national number and they said first treatment would be aeration. So I moved that out 2 weeks and expressed I want to fix the dead spots in the lawn the tech said was most likely caused by mole crickets or grubs. I called the number and they said 7 May. I waited all day. Took the day off. Called at 2:30 and they said I was rescheduled. No call! So far this Fayetteville office is less than I expected. New date 11 May. If no show I call the bank and get my $$$ back. Last chance. Will update

Actually it would be a 0, but that is not an option...they killed all of my grass and on one occasion treated my neighbors yard instead of ours.

I enjoy how the specialist come and explain everything in detail. In this case (Thomas of Branch 5113). I feel more at ease now with True Green thanks to knowing that Thomas will be the individual caring for my lawn. I was thinking of terminating my True Green service and looking elsewhere until Thomas showed just as much interest in my lawn as I did (I am really impressed with his knowledge). Thomas has a passion for caring for peoples lawns (I can surely tell that he loves what he is doing and i really do appreciate his service)! As long as Thomas of branch 5113 is treating my lawn...I will be a loyal True Green customer. Thanks Thomas and thank-you True Green for having him on your team! :-)

To begin, -Horrible customer service - never called ahead of time. Even though they said they would -price was more than promised for the first application. -I called to have an aeration done in the fall, they never came out, I constantly tried to schedule an appt as well and they kept putting me off -they said my yard can be fixed over time by weeding and lime alone and my yard only had to be aerated to see grass growth. I HAVE BARELY ANY GRASS TO BEGIN WITH. -I cancelled service over a week ago and was promised my latest refund of about 70 dollars. I was told 2-3 business days twice since than. I still have not seen it.

We had problems with our lawn and turned to Trugreen for help. We had their services in Florida . We moved to North Carolina and called upon them again to help us with our lawn problems. Thanks.
