Yard was in much need of a cleanup. Probably four years of debris - leaves - sticks - fallen branches were cleaned up in about an hour. Yard looks better than it s looked in years. Great value, great crew.

Jon and Christian did a really good job on my house. The guys were super flexible with my work schedule too which I thought was awesome. They double checked for confirmation what I wanted done before they did it and everything went smoothly. They trimmed some bushes and mowed my lawn for a good price too. Glad I went with these guys because not only do they actually pick up the phone but they did a bang up job. I ve used a few services here and these guys are by far the most professional.

Quick and easy process with Sean, the owner. A couple of days from estimate to job complete. Sean was honest and left me with great knowledge when it comes to lawn care which was great as a new home owner. H & H Lawn Care came for the 1st time this season. Needless to say, the lawn was in much need of their care! The gentlemen did a great job & I was very pleased with the results.

Horrible customer service. I submitted a request for an estimate online, but was never contacted. After 2 weeks, I reached out to the owner via text and he did end up stopping by a few days later. We discussed laying sod in the backyard and redoing the front flower bed. He told me to monitor how much sun the backyard receives and he sent me a quote for just the flowerbed. For the flower bed we wanted to rip out 6 bushes, decrease the size/reshape, level it, replace with new bushes/annual flowers and lay rock. I agreed to the quote and sent him updates on the sun coverage. A crew showed up randomly a few days later and ripped out the bushes and left. Some weeks passed by and again I had to contact the owner to get updates on when they were going to finish the flower bed and ask about the quote for the backyard. He said he messaged me back about the sun coverage, but must have sent it to the wrong person. On a positive note, he did tell me that I would probably be wasting my money on the sod due to not getting enough sun, which was nice. Glad I dodged that bullet because the end result of my flower bed was overpriced and not what I asked for. Weeks after the bushes were ripped out, the crew came out again to finish the flower bed. Essentially you get an automated text the morning of around 7am saying you have a scheduled service for a grass cutting or a quote. It does not specify what they are actually doing or what time they are coming. The team showed up around 8. They didn t knock on the door or announce their presence just started working. Luckily, I was leaving for work so I was able to have a 5 minute conversation with them. Unfortunately, when I returned from work it was not what I envisioned. They literally ripped out 6 bushes and replaced it with 2 small green bushes. We asked for low maintenance plants that have annual flowers. There was no conversation on the type of plants they were picking out or if we even liked them. There were all these fees for trimming out remaining bushes that didn t need trimmed, disposal, rearranging the border (maybe moved 10 bricks total), and prepping the ground. Not sure what was prepped, but nothing was done to the ground after he bushes were removed and that was a different fee. It wasn t even leveled like I asked. I got a literal ton of rocks and 2 bushes out of the ordeal for just under $800. Less than 2 hours of work total and that s being super generous. When I expressed my concern to the owner, he said I thought you were going for clean and empty. His way of fixing it was sodding the areas where the bricks were rearranged, which supposedly saved me $120. Save yourself some time and money and go somewhere else!

I was looking for someone to trim the overgrown hedges, and found H&H on Nextdoor. They were kind, professional, and were able to come that day to trim the hedges. Not only did they trim the hedges I asked them to, they even trimmed the bush off to the side of the house that I completely forgot to mention. Also, they went ahead mowed my front yard. Even though we didnt discuss them mowing my yard, they did it and they did not add it to the total I was quoted earlier for trimming the hedges. They only charged what was originally quoted. I am beyond grateful for their help and will definitely keep them in mind for future projects and will happily recommend them to my neighbors.

Visiting my son who had been very busy will work yhe prior couple weeks, his house needed lawncare pretty bad so I found these guys who were there next day and did a great job. Recommend.

I found Harris & Harris Lawncare on Google a couple years ago when we were looking for help maintaining my mother-in-laws yard. We live a couple hours away so we knew we couldnt do it ourselves. We found their service to be highly reliable and a great value. It was such a relief to find the yard neatly mowed and trimmed when we would visit. They have also been responsive and efficient with communication and updates about the yard which was extremely helpful for us. Love the work and my yard a customer

I m extremely happy with the work done and the ease of services. My front and backyard look great and they even removed leaves that I had previously raked myself a few months back and had no clue what to do with lol. Also, I m a truck driver that is away from home most of the time and I was able to be in contact them through call/text but was also able to see and set everything up online including payment and receipts.

This company was able to come in and cut my lawn nicely. I m reviewing them with one star because they broke the latch on my gate, put it back broken, and then refused to acknowledge that they had broken it and hid that from me. It looks like they forced it open. All they had to do was ask and I could have opened it from the inside. I can t trust them to come back to my home if they can t act professionally. I was so shocked and disappointed. I reached out and was ignored. No apology.

I was first told it was too hot to plant bushes. I was then ignored when inquiring about an estimate and time frame. Seasons change, and business will slow down, but regardless of the season; customer service should remain top tier!! Ignoring potential clients because its busy, or its hot is very UNPROFESSIONAL.

Our yard was really not in the best of shape and was in desperate need of a clean up. The prices were super reasonable, they performed the services really fantastically. I am super impressed with how the bushes were trimmed, and our flower beds were cleaned up. But my favorite thing has to be how easy their online customer platform is, it s great to be able to see when my appointment is, look at the invoice, and add payment methods on it. WOW! that was my reaction when I got home from work. H&H Lawncare did amazing work on my whole yard to include the pine needles on my roof. Fast, courteous, and hard working, is only a few of the words you can use to describe this company. I sent in a request for a quote on Monday afternoon. They responded Tuesday morning that they would stop by for the quote. Tuesday evening I had the quote - reviewed it and with no hesitation I pushed the approve. They come by on Thursday and completed the work. Again!! WOW!!! This is they way to do business. Great Customer Service.

We hired H & H to improve the appearance of our yard that had been neglected for some time. Sean and his team were very professional and responsive and we got on the schedule quickly. Sean took a walkthrough and immediately suggested things that were worth doing now and was honest about projects that were not worth doing yet or at this time of the year. We are very happy with the mulch installation and clean up of overgrown shrubs and removal of growth which had taken over the yard.

H&H did an amazing job. I needed some trees trimmed and my yard cleaned up a bit. I usually do these things myself, but I had surgery recently. I texted Sean, as instructed on the website, and he happened to be in my neighborhood. He came over within a few minutes and gave me an estimate and a rundown on how things would go. I scheduled my service on their online page, which was pretty simple. The first day, William and John came and took care of what they could before the rain started. They came back out on Monday, but this time it was William and Christian and they finished it up. My yard looked absolutely beautiful and my trees were groomed so nicely. The pricing got a little confusing, but Sean clarified it. I paid $75hour/per man (there were 2). Which that was fine, because you are allowed you to do a cap on how much you spend. They did such an amazing job, I didnt mind. I do recommend them, my neighbor uses them as well. Sean communicates well and checked with me on the work they did. They are trustworthy and very friendly. They did a phenomenal job, so next time I need something done with my yard, I will 100% use. Ill just have to make sure I am firm on my price limits because its easy to get carried away when it starts looking good!

I asked for a quote for my backyard cleanup and although the gentleman came out right away, he only communicated by text and showed up unannounced. He didnt even say hello but immediately started talking about how he couldnt get any machinery through my gate. He looked around and rudely stated that he would not pay employees to work on my yard by hand. Then he turned around, walked to his truck and left. No quote, no sorry we couldnt help, nothing. I was left standing there in my driveway wondering why a professional lawn company wouldnt clean up my yard. It was insulting and very disrespectful.

Sean and his crew did a fantastic job on my mothers yard. After several years of allowing the leaves to accumulate and shrubs to get out of control it was a huge job but Sean and his guys completed it in a single afternoon. I couldnt be there but Sean was sending me photos and video clips to keep me appraised of how it was going. It truly was a tough job with an overgrown yard. It is an amazing improvement in one afternoon. As a former Green Beret and retired Army Officer I appreciated Seans quick reply to my initial request for a quote and then he worked our house in within a week. We had H&H come out to mulch some leaves and do a quick cut on our yard. The man quoted us for a lawn cut and mulching. When he came the next day we had to ask him to redo his mulching multiple times and and he said his quote the previous day was only for the mulching which was a lie because I confirmed with him it was for a lawn cut and mulching. We ll after he finished he raised his price $20 more than what he had quoted. Expensive and poor job on mulching.

My girlfriend contacted Sean about showing us how to use the sprinkler computer as neither of us had a clue. Sean came over and determined that the water was not on and the system was still winterized. He spent the extra time getting the system working and showed us how to use the sprinkler computer that was well above what we had asked for. Called them this morning to find out about lawn upkeep - weeds, spraying, that sort of thing and instead of getting somebody to look at my situation, they threw out a name of a different company to help me in the most uninterested voice I ve ever heard. It s one thing to not necessarily want to help a customer with something small, but blowing them off to another business without any real conversation is disappointing. I can say it also doesn t make very much sense as we could ve been future clients. Not anymore.

Phenomenal work!!! The business responded to me less than 24 hours after sending a request. Jon and Endy did an incredibly professional job in less than an hour, clearing grass that had been growing for 3 plus months in about an hour that I was sure would take way longer. They did a fantastic job and left zero debris.

We live out of town and needed to get the grass cut at our property in NC. I didn t know who to call so l just googled it. H and H was the first one. I read his story about how his business got started and felt l could trust him. My instincts were right. I didn t know how l was going to get the money to him. He said don t worry about it until we finish the job. I had to have it cut with in the next 2 days and he got the job done right away. Afterwards, he walked me through how to start an account to pay him. To be sure it was set up right, he wanted me to send just $1. Of course, l had done something wrong and again he helped me figure it out. I don t know many people today that are so kind and trustworthy as he is. His company did an awesome job on the lawn and his price was very reasonable as well. The Lord certainly guided me to the right person. I greatly appreciate all HandH did to relieve me of my lawn care burden. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

I cant speak to how well the work is done but he answered my original text promptly and was quick to come out and do an estimate. He had a lot to say about the state of my backyard and asking if the house was any better inside (implying that otherwise the purchase probably wasnt worth it) There was a lot of cleanup to be done but that was the entire purpose of hiring someone to do that. He texted me a couple days later with an estimate to trim the limbs around our street light but nothing for the debris removal. When I asked about it he said that would be much more difficult and he hadnt figured it out yet. I told him just to let me know when he had an estimate but I never heard from him after that. We went with NBC Tree removal and they were great. They got our yard cleaned up as well as removing a couple trees in additional to the debris we needed gone.

We contacted H&H Lawncare because we were in desperate need of lawn service. We are managing the property remotely and the lawn had gone unattended for weeks. It was a jungle out there. LOL Communication with the front office was prompt and they gave me an appointment in their next available slot. Endy came out to give me a quote which was extremely reasonable! They took care of our lawn quickly (same day) and when Endy was finished, our lawn was impeccable. We are very pleased with the pricing and service and look forward to being a long-time customer!

Today they came out work on the landscaping of the retail establishment where I was at. These men did a really amazing job, the bushes look the best I ve seen in a while. Truly impressive. The only reason for the 3 star is that I noticed the employees working in an extremely dusty area. Afterwards I approached the supervisor to explain the safety issues and he just shrugged it off and said ok. Very dismissively. He didn t even bother to take off his hearing protection. Granted the single leaf blower he was in full control of was running, at idle. Now I could argue that he wanted to protect his own hearing that makes sense. But, now hear me out, as the supervisor of a team of men, if someone approaches you to engage in a conversation it might be worth turning off the equipment and listening to the person. I know I was only trying to discuss the safety of his employees, as a supervisor that obviously isn t his responsibility, he must protect his hearing from the screeching concerned citizen. And boss: if you wonder why you no one want to work (for you) anymore. It s because it s not worth trading their health and overhead for your selfish profits. Edit: Replying to owners response: Owners response: We were working outside with a slight breeze and I was working in the same conditions My redirect: when I observed a lingering cloud of dust enveloping working men and I recognized a not minor health and safety violation. I approached the employee and ask for the supervisor. I was guided to a man who was was leaf blowing on the side of a building across a parking lots divided lane entranceway and another smaller parking lot. A good 200 feet away from the cloud of dust, not in direct line of sight and facing the opposite direction. Owners response: No employee is prohibited from wearing any kind of dust mask they prefer. My redirect: A good supervisor recognizes health and safety and requires his men to take precautions. Your years of experience of coughing and blowing black stuff up out of you lungs and nose should be evidence to yourself. When I informed you men of my reason for concern they remarked about how they experience This themselves. You are failing to protect and maintain your most vital asset, they men who sell you their labor and skills. Owners response: I heard this mans concern. When an employee feels a situation is too dusty they walk away until the dust settles. Since we work outside it is alway quite easy to get upwind and eliminate the problem. My redirect: If a person points a potential safety violation to a supervisor, it is the supervisors responsibility to address that issue. You addressed that issue by turning around and going back to work. You did not care enough to even walk a couple hundred feet to check on your men. I walked twice that because I as a total stranger valued your employees as people. Owners response: The hearing protection I wear filters out the loud noise while making conversations possible. Sean, the owner. My redirect: Again irrelevant, your response to the situation was seen by everyone, but here is the most important thing Sean and the only reason I posted this. Now you know there is a safety concern. It is very publicly announced and you have acknowledge with a response. If any of your men ever become sick from inhalation of foreign objects and the many types of disease and cancers cause by it and they can tie it back to work, this review will be evidence in that trial especially if you continue being negligent. Thank you once again for helping me to protect them. Now be the responsible person and ensure your men wear safety equipment that is suitable for the work when required and not just as desired. There is a long established legal precedence that states an employer is responsible for the employees safety, that s is on you, not them. To all those who made it this far. I truly recommend them and their work. Be mindful of the owner he s still learning somethings, I m sure he s a probably good man and means well.

The whole backyard had not been cut back in years. It was so overgrown some of the brush was over 20 feet tall! Nathan and his crew raked and removed 6 inches of heavy wet rotten magnolia leaves from a large patio area. They cut and removed a huge overgrown mass of wisteria and junk trees( some trunks/ vines measuring 5/6/7 inches in diameter) from the whole back yard. They trimmed and cleaned up the fence line which was above and beyond what I had asked them to do. I wish I had taken a before and after picture....the transformation is incredible! Fantastic job!!

My husband usually takes care of our 3-acre yard, but he is currently TDY. I was hosting a picnic for 35 people, and I needed my yard mowed. H and H got me on the schedule as soon as the weather would allow. The day they came, I arrived home very late in the evening and didnt see the yard until the next morning. I was thrilled with what I saw: not only did they mow and trim (and all the lines were straight, which appeals to my obsessive nature), they also blew all the grass off the sidewalks and driveway, and removed all the little weeds that were growing in the cracks of my sidewalk. The price was reasonable, and my yard looks terrific. As the wife of a veteran, I am happy to support and recommend this veteran-owned company.

William came and cut my backyard grass today. I called last night and they got me in first thing this morning. It took less than an hour and I felt the pricing was very fair, especially for the work I saw! Since I m out of town, he sent photos of his completed work. I legitimately didn t recognize the yard for half a second and worried maybe he d cut the wrong one. The yard hadn t been mowed in...well...at least in the 6 mos I ve had it and probably for 6 mos before that. It looks so nice! I know my new tenants will appreciate having a more safe and organized place for the kids to play.

I had not been able to devote the time needed to my lawn care for months, and it had gotten way out of hand for just me to handle on my own. Edit: What started out great turned into a complete nightmare. Harris & Harris is a total scam. He hounds you to post a google review, and once you do the quality disappears. What the owner advertises as a sort of mentorship program for local highschoolers is really just a funnel for cheap, unskilled labor. After hooking you with a more experienced crew for your initial visit, he sends inexperienced high schoolers for subsequent visits, completely unsupervised, while charging the same prices. Long story short, we hired Harris to take care of our yard when we were away for a military deployment and we came back to a yard that was either overgrown in areas or completely dead yard, and took an entire year to regrow. The photo is of the backyard that was supposed to be mowed regularly and treated for weeds while we were gone. Sean Harris talks a big game about being a Christian who helps the community, but really just uses it as a false front to line his own pockets, and take advantage of military families. A neighbor on Nextdoor recommended Harris & Harris, and we couldnt be happier. Our yard needed some major work, and Sean and his team made it happen. Sean is an absolute professional, and a straight-shooter. He responded quickly to our inquiry, was on time to meet us and give an estimate, and has been very easy to get in touch with via text or email. He and his team have done excellent work in our yard and I think theyll end up saving us money in the long haul. They completed all of the work Sean had outlined to fix up our front yard, and in record time. The yard was left neat and tidy as well, and were happy our yard and landscaping is in good hands.

I bought my house a little over a year ago knowing my yard was going to need a complete overhaul that would have taken me a very long time to do myself. I hired H & H to help me out. Initially I contacted them back in 03/22/18 and I forgot that they never responded, so I contacted them again 07/20/19 and they never responded again. I forgot and contacted them on 03/20/2020 at 10:03am in which they finally replied. Basically, they were $15 higher than other lawn care services. Based on their history of non-responsiveness, Im not sure how they have such high reviews in conjunction to being overpriced. Its a no for me. There are tons of other lawn care services that are better priced that offer quality service. No thanks.

I was very impressed with this company and the professionalism of their personnel in performing the work at my home. A last minute call and they were able to fit me in their schedule, and sent a crew to perform their magic. Once they arrived, they pulled out their machinery, and worked fast, and neat manicuring my lawn and edges. Would definitely keep this company for my future lawn care.

While they did a good job with my lawn (a few areas were scalped, but I believe they will recover easily), I did not intend to use their services. I requested a quote, but never got it. Instead, my lawn was mowed and I was sent an invoice. I believe it was an honest mistake. The scheduling was easy and prompt- via text messaging. They texted to inform me when they were 15 minutes out from the house. Josh and I did a walk-through of the front & back yard. There was a 2-man team and they worked extra fast due to the coming rain. They edged the yard and patio- which had tremendous overgrowth. The job was complete within an hour. I used 2 other companies to take care of my yard in the past, but I was not satisfied with the work. This company came and exceeded my expectations. Pine needles can be a pain to clean up and they have the equipment to take care of that. I would highly recommend them to others!

These guys went above and beyond the normal cut. I wish I found them prior to now. I live 3 hours away from my property and arranged this over the phone. They were easy to work with and schedule and are very fair priced. The job they did is AMAZING!!!! They stayed true to their word, got the job done before the estimated time frame and it surpassed my expectations by a long shot. This is hard to find now days a company that stays true to their word and does Quality work, not just get there and cut and leave. They take care of it like its their own. I called this company twice to try and set up lawn care. I was told that someone would come out and do an estimate/quote for me. I gave them my address and never heard back from them. I called again to see when they were coming and they said It will probably be $60, and then never showed up! The person on the phone was incredibly rude. The price wasn t a problem for me. I m not sure why they never showed up. My husband and I will be choosing a different company for our lawn care.

Called a number I found at the last minute needing yard work done. They came the next day! My yard was a disaster to say the least! Grass and weeds so high you could lose a small child! Went by after they were finished and couldn t have been happier! My house had beautiful curb appeal! They cut, edged and blew all the excess off the drive way and property. Will definitely use this service again and again! Must use in my opinion!

I highly recommend this company! We had a ton of leaves and downed branches in our front and backyard. We emailed this company on 19 May and that same day said that they would stop by and get a quote for us. We requested yard waste removal, mowing and edging. They notified us that they would complete work on the 28 May. Sure enough around 0800-0900 they were working hard getting our yard squared away.They gave us a great deal for the amount of work that had to be done. The yard looks fantastic and I feel it was a great investment in our yard. Yall gave this Soldier one less thing to do, Thank you!

Harris and Harris is a great company. The service was next day (scheduled at 6pm night before). Prices are fair, but for the job they do its almost under priced. Would recommend to anyone in search of lawn services.

Did a great job mowing, edging, and blowing my yard clear. The workers were very respectful and kind. Very reasonably priced.

If I could give more stars I would! The team showed up early, and within one hour they had mowed, edged, trimmed several trees, and removed several large bushes. They hauled all debris off with them, and left my lawn looking clean and well-manicured.

Did a good and quick job at cutting. They did not show up on the day scheduled, told me that they cut the wrong house when i contacted them at the end of the day. Also, assumed that i share the alley way with my neighbor (not our property, didn t even ask me) and charged me extra for that.

They just finished up with my lawn this morning, which needed A LOT of work. Not only did they put us on the schedule super quickly despite basically last minute notice on our part, they were up front about pricing and they did a truly fantastic job. I wish I had before and after pictures! We look forward to using them again very soon.

Harris & Harris Lawn Care is a blessing! I called Friday afternoon, they were able to schedule me in the very next day. They were also very flexible with time. They were able to give me a quote as soon as I let them know my address. First, they arrived on time! I scheduled for an early morning service, and they were prompt and arrived ready to work. First impression of the team was they were very polite and professional. Second, they provide really good service! My backyard itself is about 1/4 of an acre. Our grass was fairly tall, and the most maintenance we did for our grass was basically cutting it every two week. No edging or using weed eaters, nothing. But the team they sent out to take care of it did so good! They cut the grass (backyard and front lawn), cleaned up the grass and weeds around my fire pit, got rid of the vines growing up my front wall, cleaned up my fence and walls that had grass cuttings all over it, got rid of those tall little trees around my AC, and edged the front lawn and did an amazing clean up job! This was all for $80, done by a 3 man team, in under 2 hrs. Btw, the grass was wet too because of the rain the day before. I highly recommend them! And I ll definitely be a regular. Thanks H&H!

These folks did us a solid, helping to recover our yard to the extent possible after three years of neglect while we were overseas. Arranged totally by telephone, they performed to their promised standard with no oversight from us. I went with their lawn care service as a result of hours of hard work.

Let me tell you how amazing these guys are: first, I called another company and emailed them and they did not respond in a timely manner so I contacted H &H. They responded within the same day!!! Their team was polite, professional, and they worked efficiently and quickly. Our rental property was a huge mess. It would have taken us days to do it on our own. The owner is pleasant to talk to and they were able to come the same day. The workers are all very courteous and polite. Instead of just sneaking away at the end, they checked with me that everything looked satisfactory. Prices are pretty reasonable, much better than what others have quoted us. Since its a team, they get it done fast.

Our son is deployed and his yard had gotten very over grown. We do not live there so I called and talked to Bill. He was very nice and told me he would go right out and check it out. I got a call back within the hour with an estimate. He sent numerous pictures and explained what needed to be done. It was a very reasonable price for all that needed to be done. He said he would come first thing in the morning and he did just that. He sent pictures as he worked to let me see before and after pictures. We were very happy with the work they did. It looks like a new house. He was very nice and does what he says he will do. My sons neighbor even wants them to do her yard now. We will definitely use them again.

This is the second time they have mowed my yard. They do a really good job and I was impressed both times. The only issue I have is pricing. Last time they came to mow, I was charged $65. This time I was charged $95. The only difference was my backyard was a little taller than the previous visit. They told me it was because it took so much time to get it done correctly. I was at home but never acknowledged them. My home cameras have them showing up at 6p and packing up and leaving at 635.... 30 minutes is so much time ? That s almost exactly how long they were here last time. I don t mind paying for great service but what I do mind is being taken advantage of. This will be a deciding factor on whether I use H&H again.

I called to see if I could get someone to come out and give me an estimate to cut my yard only. I didnt want any weed eating or anything like that, just a basic cut. The man who I spoke with ( I dont know his name because he never identified himself) asked me to describe the condition of my yard which I did, asked for my address which I gave to him He then asked me what I thought a fair price would be. I told him $50 ......he proceeds to tell me the minimum that he charges is $60 per yard. Well why the F did he ask what I thought a fair price would be then , and if thats the case he needs to put it on his website and tell folks right off the bat when they call.

So my hubby and I are not lawn care people and our yards were proof of that fact! H and H Lawncare did an EXCELLENT job at a great price of clearing away over five years of growth (you know, that icky ivy and random weed trees ). The crew was professional, expedient, and clean! Definitely recommend their service.

Pros: I set this all up while I was out of state without hassle! Terrific work and customer service over the phone. They came out to give an estimate the day after I called. They cut the grass 5 minutes after I agreed to the price. They were done and gone within 90 minutes. High quality work and customer service. Nate did a terrific job! Cons: Price was a tad high I thought. (.33 acre grass cutting, weed killing spray, rake pine straw to the beds and trim - was $70) of course the price will depend on what you are asking for. Overall, I highly recommend using this service.
