We had a drainage problem. Aly from Green Biz assessed the problem, provided a written estimate, a sketch, and examples of her work. The other landscaper I called was nice, but not experienced. So we went with Green Biz. Kendrick the site foreman and his supervisor arrived at the house. The team went to work. This was a 3-day project. At the end of each day Kendrick provided an update and the team cleaned the site. On the 3rd day they hit my irrigation line, ugh. The team repaired the line, finished the project, and Green Biz warrantied the work! The landscaping looks great!!!

I recently hired GreenBiz for the landscaping and maintenance and could not be more pleased with the landscaping service. From initial consultation to the final touches, their team was very professional, efficient and attentions to detail. Their maintenance service is overall ok. They show up on schedule and address any issues promptly that may have been missed.

Green Biz has completed several projects for me in the last couple of years. They always do an outstanding job!

I had an old retaining wall that was collapsing. I also wanted to add a shed to the property. I had Green Biz do another project so I called them back. From the design plans to the finished project, I couldn t be more pleased. I have had many compliments on the finished project, in was almost a shame to put the shed in the space. Several people thought I had it done to make it a patio area because it looked so great. I have plans for other areas of my yard and Green Biz will be my choice to do the job.

I am near the end of a landscape project with Green Biz. I have been very impressed with the entire project starting with their representation Kat. She listened carefully to what I wanted done. I gave her full control of choosing the plantings since I know 0 about plants, and was vey pleased with her choices. She was patient as I made changes to the project over and over. From this first encounter, the actual implementation of the project was perfectly choreographed. I couldn t believe how fast and professionally the first phase of my ongoing project was completed.

Kat has designed two landscaping projects for me, and Ive been extremely satisfied with both of them. Angel and his installation team were great. They were professional and courteous and careful not to disturb existing plants.

I stopped at the nursery and giftshop once while on vacation visiting family. They had every plant imaginable there. Too many to choose from. The giftshop was also amazing and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I was amazed at the beautiful job Green Biz did with my lawn. I did not know you could see distinct differences in how a lawn is cut until I saw it for myself. The team that cut my lawn the other day has set a standard by which to judge all other experiences. Cutting of the grass was meticulous, the ditch was as clean as possible even with residual water from the last storm and weed whacking around trees and in the rock bed was executed with perfection. Thank you, Green Biz and a special thank you to the team that exceeded expectations in caring for my lawn.

Unprofessional and overpriced. They sold trees they didn t have. After waiting two months for installation, they planted trees, knowing they weren t what I ordered and after the fact, told me they didn t have the right trees. I m sorry but that s unprofessional. Over those two months I could have sourced the trees I wanted elsewhere. Now it s approaching frost season and I have trees in my yard that I don t want and have to just accept and pay for. No apology, no discount offered, nothing. Then they proceeded to harass me for immediate payment. Apparently contract terms only apply to the customer, not the business. They must feel they can disregard your purchase contract and just plant whatever they feel like and then demand immediate payment. Sadly, they are just out for money. Won t ever do business here again. Shame because this used to be my go to place for everything.

I have always been pleased with Green Biz. From the first call to the finished project the customer service is great. I have used them several times. I was having work done the week of Hurricane Debi so they were working trying to beat the arrival of the storm. They worked in the rain on a few occasions to get the job done. They were respectful and polite. If needed, I would call them again.

Green Biz did a great job replacing the mulch with rocks in our yard. It transformed the look of our home. Not to mention they removed the existing weeds that were there which makes it much easier on us. I would highly recommend

Green Biz has exceeded all my expectations in the recent landscaping project. My design consultant Kimberly was dedicated & professional and had incredible knowledge of plants. She was instrumental in converting my desires into a wonderful design. All the plants were healthy & vibrant! All the landscaping crew did a great job implementing the design. They worked all over my property & you could never tell they were there except of course for the beautiful new landscaping! I have been so impressed by the professionalism of the entire Green Biz operation. Using Green Biz for my landscaping project was the best decision Ive made! Update: These are cryptomeria that Green Biz planted as a protective & privacy hedge on my property. As you see, in just a few years these wonderful cryptomeria are thriving, full, thick and almost 30 feet tall! Brian Jammer, manager, and all Green Biz staff not only do amazing work but have incredible healthy vibrant plant stock. Green Biz is the way to go for all your landscaping needs!

Green Biz crew arrived as planned, discussed my expectations to match their instructions, worked diligently to scrape old grass and level the yard on the first day. 2nd day, they arrived soon after fresh cut sod arrived, proceeded to lay sod until all laid, then arranged and informed me they would be back the next or day after. Sod was laid to completion as noted. They reviewed maintenance instructions. All 3 crew members were very informative and worked to get the job finished to my satisfaction.

*EDITED REVIEW Update: the owner called me a few days after posting my new review and offered to talk things through with me to determine how he could rectify my concerns. He offered to send a crew out to address the issues mentioned in my original review, but after providing an explanation as to why no fabric/barrier was used and ways to maintain our flower beds, I felt much better and confident in my ability to maintain the work that was already done. I appreciate the owner s initiative and commitment to making things right. That s what any good owner should do when a customer isn t happy with a product or service, and for that, I would recommend GreenBiz. We used GreenBiz to redo our flower bed and didn t have the experience we expected. We split our project into two phases and while the designer was nice, the communication with the project coordinator Melissa was not great. I found myself having to call in/email multiple times to see exactly when the crew would be coming out. Even when I was provided a date, they could never even give me an estimated time that the crew would show up. Additionally, the crew that came for the first phase installed a plant right in front of our crawl space door, which we had the second crew transplant to another area. The crew that came to work on the second phase barely spoke English. Usually this isn t a problem but when you re trying to communicate and ask questions, it doesn t make doing so particularly easy. That crew installed pavers but not in the herringbone design that I had agreed on with the designer. But there was no way I was going to say anything and have the crew dig it all back up and fix. Lastly, within a matter of weeks after the install, I noticed weeds growing in our new flower bed. I emailed the designer asking if a barrier was installed under the mulch, and she said no, that is not their standard practice. She advised using RoundUp to treat the weeds .. Unfortunately, due to the lack of professionalism, communication, and simply installing the bed/pavers correctly, I cannot recommend GreenBiz.

I had them do landscaping around our entire house. They did a great job, the crew was very professional and polite. The Forman made sure all of our questions were answered and we were satisfied.

From start to finish the service and work provided by Green Biz was exceptional. Selecting, positioning and planting the 38 scrubs & bushes and 3 trees was a team effort by Alyssa, Landscape Designer, Melissa, Project Coordinator, Tascia, the work supervisor and Kendrick, the Landscape Foreman. Kendricks team worked very hard in 90 degree weather, removing the old weed laden lawn and putting down the new lawn. They have turned a drab front and back yard into a beautiful garden and lawn. Curb appeal has shot up a thousand percent.

Great, helpful and friendly service start to finish. Aly came out in a timely manner for an estimate and included a drawing along with a paragraph explaining what work I was requesting. She made some suggestions and responded to my questions thoroughly at that time and also during the contracted project. During the project, workers were always on time, very professional and courteous. Miguel answered my questions and asked other personnel for answers when he needed to. I love the finished product and feel like I m living in a park! I will certainly call Green Biz when I m ready for Phase II!

The crew showed up on time, and work throughout a two day period too change appearance of the front yard, the finish product was simply, transformative. When completed, the lead walk me through the work completed and was very thorough in answering our questions. We have been so delighted with this project, we are inviting them back for a bigger backyard before and after project. We will def share photos of that project.

Id been wanting to do some new planting and bedding in my yard for years and finally called Green Biz because they have a good reputation in the business. Aly arrived at my house and we walked through the yard and I expressed to her my ideas of what I wanted. She and the company were very professional and her vision of the project exceeded my expectations as my yard was transformed into what I felt it should be all along. The crew of gentlemen that were at my house for three days working were also professional and knowledgeable. Overall great experience with Green Biz and I would definitely recommend them.

Do Not buy a whirligig here. I paid $200 for a nice in appearance double spinner and inside of two years the bearings and housing disintegrated on one side and was shot on the other. Very poor quality bearings and for a few bucks more could have been installed with sealed bearings by the mfg. Nice selection of gifts, premium price though with questionable quality. This has not been the only purchase made here for gifts with disappointing longevity for the premium. Ill be looking elsewhere, you have been advised . Update: I have to say Im impressed, its a Sunday and received contact from Green Biz for all practical purposes immediately expressing concern. They get props for that. I understand this product is out of warranty and expect noting but the lesson already learned, but will give them a call so they can address with their supplier so that others (including GB) are not spending on substandard products. The wind spinner was only 1-1/2 year old on reflection and a gift to a elderly family member who initially loved it near her patio and garden. This really got under my skin because I am a retired Campbells Soup Design Engineer and should have given the item a more critical eye before purchase (eng. axiom: inspect what you expect). But gift purchase procrastination and falling for lovely design with poor execution was my fail.

Wonderful crew, representatives, and office staff. I got a tree line border and it is beautiful. Such a beautiful blend of Carolina midnight loropetalum and junipers. So excited about my next project.

Came out and did an installation very quickly. The woman that came out was right on time and very knowledgeable/professional. They estimated 4-6 weeks for installation, was installed within 2 weeks. Very satisfying experience!

What a wonderful place. We were blown away by the selection and they had fair prices. We got some great shrubs to start rebuilding the beds we tilled up this year that hadn t been updated in almost 20 years! We live about 45 minutes away but will definitely be back. They have every plant you could dream of and the most beautiful array of garden art!

Wonderful selection of plants and friendly, knowledgeable staff

Took good care of my front yard. They removed all the old grass and loosened the soil up. Ensured I had two areas where water could drain away from the house and then laid new 181 square yards of new centipede grass. There were a few places the new grass failed to take and was dead. GreenBiz workers returned, removed the dead grass, and placed fresh grass down. I watered it, then they cleaned up the area and checked to see if all was good. My wife was happy with their work, and we thanked them as they got ready to depart

After submitting my complaint below, the owner promptly contacted me and initiated a process to replace the trees. I have always believed that people can make mistakes, but it is how they handle those mistakes that truly matters. In this case, the owner, Charlie Allen, and his Crew at Greenbiz have exceeded my expectations in resolving the issue. I am extremely pleased with the replacement trees and want to express my sincere gratitude. Thank you once again for doing such a remarkable job and taking care of my problem. Last fall in 2022, I explicitly requested a 5-foot tree for various reasons. However, upon installation, a smaller tree was planted. I was informed that the measurement included the root ball and that it was under 5 feet with the root ball. When I expressed my dissatisfaction during the installation, I was told that the tree was fast-growing and if I remained unhappy, I could contact them in the spring for a replacement. I followed up with a complaint, and a representative visited to assess the trees health and promised a replacement, which was never fulfilled. This lack of action has led me to leave a 1-star review.

Amazing people and beautiful plants.

We chose Green Biz Landscaping to help us get our many flower beds looking great for Summer. We are glad we did, they were well priced and did an awesome job on them all. We even had them add a tree in one of our empty flower beds, the associate that came out and gave us our original quote recommended the Eastern Red Bud after listening to what I was looking for. We will definitely be recommending them to friends and family.

We contacted them to completely redo 5 large landscaping beds in our yard that were overgrown with weeds and vines. If you love plants, pick a place (GB) that loves them as much as you! After much research I knew I wanted fast growing screening plants and as many native varieties as possible. I called GB for an estimate. They met with me in the space and talked though my options and advised on what I wanted for my yard. I was even able to meet on sight at the nursery to see the plants in the field. Brian was fantastic. He showed me a plant I had never seen before, a weeping Yaupon Holly. It has so much interest, native, and no prickers! Yeah, I put it in the cart. I ended up with emerald green aborviteas, a yaupon Holly, cherry laurel, and several wax myrtles. I also had them build a new bed and transplant my current blueberry bushes to a sunnier spot. The wait list for the install did take about 2 mo, but I was aware of this before moving forward with the contract. There was an issue with the install, but it was quickly and professionally resolved. The finished landscaping looks great. Melissa in the office made a follow up call to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. She went above and beyond in putting together after-care instructions for my plants. She even included info on two other plants I had previously picked up at GB and planted, along with the transplanted blueberries.

Backyard make over great job I am very satisfied with the work and thank you

I have had the same low voltage lighting in my yard for 9 years. The landscaping companies I have used were told that they could only use a weed eater type of edger because of the wiring. My lighting was install post construction of the house and in accordance with the electrical code. The wiring passed inspection to boot. Green Biz was told NUMEROUS times not to use a blade edger on my property. For the first few visits they did exactly as requested. The last visit they came and used a blade edger and cut a wire to one of my lights. When I made them aware of this they sent out a supervisor who said yes, we damaged that and should not have. They told me to send them an invoice which I did. I got a phone call from a construction manager who proceeded to tell me that my lights were installed incorrectly and that they were calling the company to get the specifications for that light installation. I told him they had already accepted liability and my landscape lighting company was handling it. He said if that s the way it s going to be then so be it. I got a check for the damage and a letter saying they were cancelling my service because my lights were installed incorrectly. So they damaged something because they did something they were told not to do and I get my service cancelled? They said they can t guarantee it won t happen again so that why I m being cancelled. Follow instructions and you will not damage property!

I have dealt with 2 other companies and no one has been able to fix it. I will always use Greenbiz and James for any future problems. He truly is an irrigation expert.

I ve been a fan of green side up for many years of my own gardening. We just built a new home and wanted to replace the builders landscaping but with my work demands I am unable to dedicate as much time to gardening. So naturally I wanted to have all our gardening done by green biz. They were a little backed up in scheduling but not more than I would expect early summer. Our quote came fairly quickly after the site visit. The pricing was fair and reasonable. The time from payment to install was again a bit long but not more than I would expect in the summer. There were a few hiccups along the way but with open communication and receptive employees the final product is absolutely beautiful, classy and the low maintenance but high impact curb appeal I was looking for. Very pleased. Great job!

I had my complete back and front yard sodded with Bermuda grass, irrigation install, and some garden beds with flowers. The end result is nicely laid sod with automatic sprinklers. The quality of work you get is worth the premium price you will pay. It is definitely worth it to always hire a professional! My only complaint is the dialogue between the customer and the business. At times it was unclear who was handling my project, confusing timelines were being given for project start and completion, and at times no answer was given for the lull between sod removal and sod install (the answer was that there was inspections to be had by the city for the irrigation). There is always someone very friendly at the phone when you call but usually they never had the answer and would offer to call back but never did. The estimate was very thorough but I would suggest having a very clear idea of what you want. I had changes that required 2 additional estimate contracts - it was all handwritten and at times was confusing for all involved what work was being done and where pricing came from. It would have been more helpful to receive a digitally typed out estimate of services to be received with a sketch of work to be done. One of the landscape designs was installed in the incorrect location. I sent photos and described where it should go before it was finished. It was still installed around the wrong tree - they did offer to completely remove the edging, mulch, flowers and transplant them to the correct tree but at that point I just said to leave it as is.

The young men who were assigned to do the job at our home were simply the best, they were awesome. The sod installation was amazing to watch. Green Biz transfomed our front lawn. The job was completed in a timely manner. The young assigned to do this were ten plus and beyond. Thank you Green Biz for job well done.

I hired Green Biz to do a significant landscape installation at my home. This included over 80 bushes and 15 trees. I enjoyed the professional care from McKenzie, Cameron, Bryan, Kendrick and their entire installation crew. My yard looks beautiful. This was my second project with Green Biz and I will absolutely return to them again. In fact, I m currently working on a hardscape install to complement the beautiful landscape they just completed. We hired Green Biz to design and install some evergreen screening in front of our house. Debi, the landscape designer, is very knowledgeable about the varieties that would work best on our property, and was really responsive to our input and questions. On the day of installation, she and the landscaping crew were very patient and accommodating as we made some final adjustments to the original plan. The trees and shrubs look great incorporated into our existing landscape. We have used Green Biz a few times over the years for various projects, and weve always been happy with the results. Very professional and dependable. Would definitely recommend.

Went to the Fairy Garden class they offered on March 7,2021. Very enjoyable .They did have everyone 6ft apart if you were not in a group. . For $25.00 you received the Pot filled with potting soil (as picture below) and choice of three plants , they also provided different sized rocks, mediums, sticks,broken pottery, etc..... if you wanted to add other items to enhance your Garden such as Fairies , fencing, miniature items etc.... you could purchase it from their retail store and get 10% off . It was very nice and relaxing.

I had no idea this nursery was so large with such a huge selection of plants, trees, shrubs, etc. I knew I wanted some hardwood trees to plant, and Sarah helped me narrow it down and gave advice on how to plant. The rest of the staff was helpful and friendly, as well. I will be back for sure.

I love visiting this place and strolling through all the areas. Its absolutely beautiful, calm and serene. Parking is very easy and accessible, even when theyre busy. The only down side is the prices. You can spend $100 on 3 hanging baskets. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but the prices are higher than other local nurseries.

I was looking for Bog plants so I didnt walk the greenhouses but I did notice it. It was well stocked with all kinds of plants. There was also statues and other lawn ornaments outside as well as in. Other garden needs, soil, shovel, gloves, can be found there as well as some line of skin care products that would make a great gift for someone spending time in the sun. I didnt look closely at it but it may be natural products. I suggest calling them to be sure if that is what they are because as I said, I happened to notice them when I walked by but I didnt really look at them or read the ingredients. There was also a couple of sections I didnt even go to. I found my plants and left but when I need something else garden, yard, or plant related, I am going back there. The prices are reasonable and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Management is rude. The supervisor talked a good game overall nothing that he said happened. Warning, do not sign anything the inspection that said you get, you dont. Its amazing how the truth is stated then they come back accusing you of being rude. I stated a fact that happened. At the end of day, I chose to take the higher road. Although I had to pay someone else to do a job that I had already paid for but didnt receive. He never offered anything, he hung up in my face. It was a learning experience and it will not happen again. As I said before, beware especially women. Thanks!

We love the garden center and all the employees at Greenside up/ GreenBiz. Everyone is very knowledgeable and polite and tries to help out as much as possible. If one person cannot answer your question, they will find someone who can. We love our String of turtles and Wandering Jew! They are both doing great. We will be coming back soon!

My house had decades of damage from water coming down the hill into my crawlspace/ basement. Adam came out, gave me fairly simple and inexpensive plan to divert the water from my house. It has been about a year and I barely have any water coming into my basement. They built me a new flowerbed with mulch. The staff are always very polite and respectful. I couldnt be any more pleased with the job that was done and the customer service received.

Adam provided outstanding service on behalf of Green Biz for a large landscaping overhaul of my home. His professionalism and knowledge was second to none on how to go about solving drainage issues and updating all of the beds and shrubbery. He went out of his way while I was out of town to ensure the new plants were getting enough water and followed up on his own to ensure I was updated along the way. Green Biz went above and beyond for the project and I would gladly use them again for future needs.

I hired Green Biz to do a total yard renovation, including extensive removal of current plants and shrubs.This also included instillation of new plants, shrubs, and trees with path lighting and brick patio with a fire pit among other improvements. It was a massive project that took a month or more to complete. Adam was the landscape designer and from day one was nothing but professional. He listened to my vision, answered every question and coached me into making it a feasible design. His knowledge, skill and passion for what he does was very evident and made the process fun and exciting to be a part of. There were many Green Biz professionals that helped with the entire project including; Daiquan, Uriel, Orion, Alfonso, Matthew, Jose and Crescencio. Each of these professionals were at the top of their game and knew exactly how to execute the precise design Adam developed. They were courteous, focused, and hardworking. What could have been a miserable month long process was actually exciting. I was able to see each day how the plan was coming together. I could not be more happy with the final outcome. My neighbors have stopped by and commented on the beautiful job Green Biz did. Best of all at night, with the lighting it is stunning! I want to personally thank Adam and his team of professionals for doing such and outstanding job!

Green Biz did an excellent job redoing our front yard landscape area. The crew did an excellent job removing the existing bed, removing the weeds and placing a fiber to prevent weeds from coming back. They spread the new pine straw and edged around the bed. The new landscape bed looks amazing!! Mack was professional and very easy to work with. He listened to us and what we wanted and made this process very easy. We highly recommend Green Biz for all your landscaping needs.

Wonderful experience! I went looking for sod and left with so much more! I left with knowledge after stopping to talk to a older gentlemen that works there who was able to tell me I as planting incorrectly but also correct me while giving ideas! Very helpful! I will definitely be back .

They have a good selection, but their service today was very slow. The registers only had 2 workers and while they were busy enrolling people in a rewards membership or just chatting, they let the line back up 15 people deep. Also, both bathrooms were mysteriously out of order and my wife almost soiled herself. Please get your act together!

We had a landscape project done fall of 2019. We lost a few plants over the winter but Green Biz eventually came out to replace them (giving them grace because of co-vid 19) . The other plants have so far survived & thrived.

This review is after 11 months from my residential landscape design and install. We worked closely with the in-office team and the field representatives to build a plan for our front and back yard in Fayetteville. I let them know up-front that we did not have an unlimited budget, but wanted a good end result. I was happy with the way that we came to a plan that was easy to maintain and stayed within our pricing requests. Approximately 10 months after the initial install, we noticed that not all of the installed plants made it through the winter. This was no fault of anyone, but something that happens. Green Biz sent a representative to our house who took a look at what we had and with no questions asked sent a crew to our house about 7 days later. Both times, the group from the office to the workers on-site were a pleasure to work with and I can guarantee that if I need anything in the future, I will only call Green Biz.

They did a great job of clearing out our back area. They were punctual, polite, thorough and cleaned up completely behind themselves. I highly recommend them!

I was very displease with the service they had to come out and fix the problems but the way the management Over the landscaping made it seem like my yard was gonna like quality they did a rush job and then when they came back i wasn t all that pleased I just said yes to avoid further problems my son told me the guys complained the whole time they came back to the house the second time and then they had a problem with my payment one girl said she took my payment then they come calling me asking Me for the payment so I will never use them again just very unpleased

I had to have a huge tree removed. I had been on several deployments and my landscaping really really got bad. I called Michelle, she sent Brian over to look at it. Brian sent me back an estimate that was a lot lower in price than I was expecting. We set a date, then a few days later Michelle called me saying she had an opening the next day. They guys came over and removed the tree and did all the landscaping WHILE I WAS SLEEPING ! I swear they didnt even wake me up. My dog didnt even bark. I went out and looked at it and it turned out better than Brian said it would. Hard to believe, but I feel like I ripped them off. Great Job Guys... Thank you

Just left Green Biz Nursery. It was my first visit there and everyone was so pleasant. Stephanie helped me pick out my rose bushes and load them into my car. She was AWESOME! It was a warm afternoon and I could tell she had been working hard all day, but she was patient with me as I poured over all of the beautiful roses. She had the kind of customer service I love to experience. The nursery itself is gorgeous. I am so happy with my purchases and I will be back!

Green Biz is awesome!! We had a clean slate backyard when Brian came out for a site visit. We were getting an inground pool installed and needed a LOT of help with landscape design. He drew up a beautiful plan, showed us all the plants at their expansive nursery, and scheduled everything exactly as needed (with Michelle s assistance ;-)!). We also cannot give enough credit to the installation team. Bonn and his crew were prompt, professional and offered advice on plant care for later. We will definitely contact this company again for future needs for our home or business. We had a great customer experience with Green Biz!!

Green Biz Nursery was superb in every way when they designed and installed a retaining wall in our front yard. The wall is beautiful and the wok was done quickly by professional and personable Green Biz employees. They also did a beautiful job in laying sod for our entire front yard. We are beyond pleased and have hired them for regular maintenance as a result of our positive experience. We were pleased from start (estimate) to finish, in part due to the professionalism and personableness displayed by everyone with whom we interacted.

We have used Green Biz the last five years for landscaping and irrigation services. They have always delivered exceptional service and workmanship. It is comforting knowing that they will do the job right and the quality will always be 10/10 every time. Please keep in mind if you want a landscaping job done right away, this company may not be for you. Their schedule is always full and you may have to wait weeks before they can get to you. But, it is worth the wait!

The onsite project manage Bond and his crew, from the plant installers to the crew that put in the flagstone patio and walk way, were all so professional and did a fabulous job.
