Complete ripoff, do not trust this company

This company was very professional, dependable, and seemed to pay close attention to detail. They did a great job EVERY time they came. I was on a bi weekly schedule and they arrived like clockwork. I have no complaints.

They installed lovely grass 2 years ago and due to not watering I had them reinstall. The reinstalled sod did not take, but they will take care of it.

After multiple interactions with this company and giving them many opportunities to follow up on their outstanding tasks, we cannot recommend this company at all. Not just poor communication, but lack of any and all communication and follow through on an open issue for over six weeks now has led us to having another company come finish the job that this company wouldn t complete. Our initial interaction with them in fall 2021 to winterize our sprinkler system was satisfactory, but this spring has been a nightmare to have them turn on/complete maintenance on the same system. Every voicemail, text, and email we sent went unanswered. If we were able to talk to someone on the phone (which was few and far between), they would make guarantees that were not fulfilled. Highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

It started with weeks of not getting the same crew twice. Then they just stopped coming when they said they would. 3 weeks in a row. Cancelled service.

I used this company last year to open and close my sprinkler system and they did a great job. I m not sure If the company sold but they confirmed on 2 different occasions they would be here to install our backflow device. Never showed! And didn t call or text. VERY POOR service and communication. follow up. A couple of weeks ago I noticed I was charged 230.00 from my credit card that was on file from last season for supposedly putting on the backflow valve, replacing several sprinkler heads and repairing a small leak. This service was not done and the charges were fraudulent. I had another company come out and install the valve a week before Clean Cut lawn care stated they performed the service. I called and emailed the company to let them know this service was done by them. They did not and couldn t provide me with an invoice of any sort. My bank put my he money back into my account.

Hired them to install French drains. They knocked out my electricity ($8k to fix) and my house has flooded twice in the last 6 months. They said they have liability insurance but they wouldn t use it because it would make their rates go higher.

Do NOT USE!!! Received my weekly service invoice (which is auto drafted), but full services were NOT performed. I emailed the owner to let them know that my yard was NOT mowed. For some reason, they weed-eated and left without mowing. They came back to mow after the email. When they came back, they weed-eated around my pool which they have never done before because I ALWAYS spray RoundUp around my pool so that they do NOT have to get near it with a weed-eater. Ripped through the edging and ripped my pool. Knocked planters over, as well. When I emailed the owner to complain, they NEVER replied to the email NOR did they come back. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! Their lack of communication and unprofessionalism and poor quality , etc I could go on about fraudulent charges having to be disputed with my cc but just dont you use this business

We used A Clean Cut Lawn care to get rid of the leaves in our yard. We have 3 large trees in our yard that leave a massive amount of leaves! They did a fantastic job of cleaning up the yard! They cleaned the shrubs and flowerbeds also, we came home and there was not a leave to be found! We could not be happier, will definitely be using them again!

Did not show up for two appointments and never called to let me know they were not coming. Spoke to the woman who answered the phone on Tuesday and she said she would have Jeff come out at 12 that day. He never showed up. At 3, I called and left a message to see if he was still coming. I still have not heard from them.

This company was great before 5 months ago. This spring (mid-April) a team came out and did a fine job on the lawn... and havent seen or heard anything from them since. I have called and emailed multiple times. The phone is never answered, and the mailbox is full. My emails and communications on their website interface have gone completely unanswered or unacknowledged. I can only imagine that this company has gone out of business.

UPDATE*** After a few more weeks of frustration, we have canceled our services. Despite calls, emails, and texts, the only communication Ive received was after this initial review was posted and shortly after I emailed to cancel. Im saddened by how poorly we were treated and wish a Clean Cut the best, but HIGHLY caution anyone thinking of working with them. ORIGINAL REVIEW*** I hate to post this, but working with a clean cut lawn care has become a nightmare. Weve been using them for lawn mowing and maintenance for about a year. Through the summer and fall, they were excellent - they showed up on time, were flexible, kind, and responsive. However since the start of the year, it has been silent and service has been poor. We have been charged on a regular basis for grass treatments that we did not know were still occurring as I couldnt get in touch with anyone. When it came time for mowing to start up again, we never received any information. I started reaching out to them in April, sometimes calling over 20 times in a week, emailed, FB messaged, and even posted on FB with no response. Finally (early June) someone got back to me explaining that they had some unforeseen employee turnover and they wanted to get me back on the schedule. They came once, and I have not heard from them since when I have reached out. While I want to be compassionate towards everything they seem to be going through, Im extremely disappointed. Id be more than happy to update my review and would love to see them redeem themselves, but Im not feeling optimistic.

Did not show up. Rescheduled and did not show up again. No communication - seemed nice and good rates at first but then I was ghosted.

Clean Cut has been respectful and accommodating. They do a great job on the lawn. A great company, this is the bird year we have been using them for our lawn care.

Do NOT GO WITH THEM. I called this company to get an estimate and was asking few basic questions to the lady who picked up and she abruptly hung up and was very rude . When I called back the next associate tried to cover up for her by saying they have a bad phone connection . Not sure how they have high rating when they dont even treat the customers right. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Jeff Watkins was a nice guy when he did the estimate for us but thats where the customer service ended. We hired them to edge, line, and gravel the side of our house. Twice they no called/no showed. I wont be using this company again.

What started as a great experience (quote process) quickly dwindled into a miserable experience. I dont know if it was retaliation because I only accepted one of the two jobs that was quoted or what, but the day I pushed the accept button was the day that I stopped hearing from them. Three weeks later and after badgering my contact for three days, they finally got someone to come out and check the work space. The sub mentioned to me that he hadnt even heard from the company until that afternoon... surprise surprise. Fast forward another 14 days and this morning was my second no call no show. I loved the reviews I read, but Im thinking that either management has changed or theyve just taken on too many jobs. I wont be recommending or using this company again.

I honestly dont know how this place has anything positive ratings. We consulted with them a French drain installation and after the initial estimate we agreed to have them do the work. The guy giving the estimate said we would have to check with the office to schedule and when I called the office the lady answering the phone said they were 3 weeks out. After not hearing anything 4 weeks later I called them back and was told we were on the schedule for the following week. I was told that I would receive a call back to let me know what day to expect the work to begin. I never received a call back and they wont return my call. This is a horrible way to do business!! A lot of time wasted and still not done! Dont waste your time or money on this place!!

I needed a French drain installed ASAP, and Clean Cut Lawncare was able to get it done with little advance notice as we were working with other contractors on a larger project that they needed the drain installed first before we could progress. Clean Cut was very professional, courteous, and prompt, and the work was completed as promised and with little to no mess left behind. I highly recommend them if you need a French drain installed and PROPERLY. For reference, this work was done for us about 8 months ago, and it is performing just like we needed it to. So thankful we got it done before this year s rainy season. Great company!

The last two Decembers, I have used A Clean Cut Lawn Care to removes the leaves from my yard. They were very efficient and thorough, and reasonably priced. I plan to use them for years to come.

Our son lives in Fayetteville, while attending U Ark. The house we purchased needed some help on the exterior - specifically the landscaping needed cleaned up - old mulch removed, plants trimmed, new planting ideas put in place, etc. The entire time, Jeff and his team kept in mind who would be responsible for the care - a 21 year old. The plan included multiple easy to care for plants and a clean & simple design. They were so easy to work with and We/my son are thrilled with the results. Clean Cut Lawn Care is dependable and easy to get in touch with. They text me and let me know when they are coming so I can make sure my dogs are put up. However, I dont have very much grass (do have a lot of yard and sticks) and sometimes it doesnt take them very long. I would appreciate it if they could spend a little of the extra time they have picking up some of the branches, sticks, etc., but when I requested that they said there were too many sticks for them to deal with in my yard. If they could just clean up a few each time it would be helpful.

Been using this service for a number of years. Jeff and his team do a great job. They are fast and do a fantastic job of edging. Also, an email alerts to the day of service and payment is quick and easy online.

It was very difficult to turn over the job of pruning approximately 40 crape myrtle bushes that create almost a 4 wall around our property. My discussion with Kurt was to take care and effort in the pruning and not the usual shear off the top method. I wanted the bushes to look that natural shape when they were done. He assured me he knew what I was looking for and had the people to get it done. He kept his word. Terrific is the closest word I can come up with. I got the look I was after and besides the management team I met two of the personnel from clean cut that I will be happy to have back again for my next outdoor maintenance job. I was looking for a great lawn service that I could depend on cause I was not able to do yard work any more...so I looked on google and all the reviews I read about clean cut lawn care was all great... no body was dissatisfied with their work and had all great things to say about these guys... so I sent a quote to curt and within minutes he was at my house measuring the gate making sure he could get his mower through my gate... I have been so happy with these guys and they show up on time... they have a real user friendly website that you can pay right on the website and it is so much better than what I had in the past with other companies... I am so glad I found these guys... if you need a great lawn service they do all kinds of yard work call them you will be so satisfied just as I am...

A Clean Cut Lawn Care was hired to apply a fresh layer of mulch to my beds. They showed up on time, applied the mulch efficiently, and succeeded my expectations. A friendly crew and friendly service!

Jeff was great and they did work fast but our sod didn t live past the summer. We followed all the directions they sent us, making sure to water our backyard consistently, but it didn t take. We have great growing grass in patches. We feel like we kind of wasted money on getting sod installed to not fully enjoy our yard. Sadly, our backyard looks like it did before we had the sod installed, patchy and unusable. Not sure if it had anything to do with having sod installed the first week of June, instead of it being installed in the Spring or Fall.

They did a very good job of sod installation in our front yard. We are very happy with their services!

The last time I asked them to come back to redo the crappy job they told me they would not be servicing my property anymore. I used the for mowing service and leaf removal.

Invoices are emailed the day that work is performed and Jeff even provides a self-service portal where I can easily pay my bill and view all of my previous invoices. Jeff and his team do such a good job on my lawn that I have had them tear down and remove old flower beds, trim trees and bushes, weed flower beds, perform leaf removal in the fall and spring, and clean my gutters. Definitely recommend, not only for lawn care but also for landscaping. I was able to schedule my landscaping needs fairly quickly and they even picked up a tree for me at a local nursery as I didnt have a truck. Theyre also very easy to communicate with as I was able to email or text and got an almost immediate response.

This company does a great job with the routine mowing and edging. The one issue we had is we asked them for an estimate to do our parents yard and was told they would go look and was never given an estimate. I decided oh well they did not want to go out that far out of town as they live in a rural area. The next year they started to cut the yard again and I asked for an estimate to mulch the front garden and sent pictures with the size at their request. Again I never received an estimate. The only thing I received was that our price was increasing a little because of our location (which had not moved from the previous year). I felt that they did not want the business or maybe we were not a big enough job for them.

Definitely recommended! Jeff and his team were quick to respond when we moved into our new home and have done a great job so far! They are also very responsive when we have questions or needs with our yard or sprinkler system.

I am a 100% disable veteran and have used Jeff at Clean Cut Lawn Care for the past 2 years. Since being disable I am in and out of the hospital in Richmond VA through out the year. I dont have to worry about my yard as Jeff and his crew always takes care of it if Im home or not. If I need anything done I just pick up the phone and call Jeff and he takes care of it. Cut grass fine but once we had them do our flower beds everything went downhill. One of their guys laid fabric in our flower bed per their recommendation and did not treat for weeds did not secure fabric just used some stones and flower pots we had to keep fabric down. The staples were left laying on top of the fabric. Once I questioned this they said it was our fault we should put mulch immediately. Seeing how the job looked incomplete why would we put mulch down. But we paid so why would we expect anyone to care about the work when the already have their money.it was just $65 for the fabric so I wont cry over spilled milk to much:)
