Fired people who did not deserve it because they wanted cheaper workers, cap out your hours at 40 and will give you hell if you go over. I quit after almost 7 years of hard work and dedication l, winning multiple “awards” they trick you into thinking are important! Never got a profit sharing check and I’ll I wanted to do was work my way up! Just a stress factory honestly and really sad for people trying to make an actual career out of it! Hopefully in the future they make changes starting from the top down!
Brilar was doin work at a property next door to my moms when her chain link fence was hit accidentally..the supervisor mylin assured her that the fence would be fixed.After a small wait she arrived home this morning and noticed it had been completed...accidents happen but what matters most is he kept his word n did a great job replace that area of fencing.id recommend them purely off respect of his character.
Do not do work as a vendor for this company they do not pay their vendors. Getting my lawyer involved and having to put contractor liens on the properties they subbed us out too.
I can't speak of the work they provide but I CAN speak of the character of Mr. Al Arnold. I was vacationing with my wife in Detroit (my hometown) and my car was stolen from the Hollywood Hotel & Casino. After returning to N. Carolina, my wife called me with news that her dentist had a strange call asking if she was a patient of theirs. Well, the strange call came from Al Arnold letting us know that one of his crew members had found our passports on the ground in Oak Park!!! He took the time to research (google) us and found a review that my wife had left her dentist. I spoke with Al as soon as I got the message, gave him my home address and received my passports shortly thereafter! If he treats his clients half as well as he treated this stranger, I'm sure he has a 1st class thriving business!! I only wish he worked in Pinehurst N.C. Because I would use no one else but Brilar. The city of Detroit uses this awful company. Before I was State representative, I had complained to the city of Detroit about how awful this company is. They will have grass and then on top of that they cut the grass with trash including glass and cans. More than 6 years, I've complained about this Farmington hills company, BRILAR, that the city of Detroit has contracted to cut grass. They do not pay their vendors. We plowed a few 5/3 banks over the winter season of 2022-2023 and haven't been paid. We did receive a letter from Larry the owner stating that we will get paid but they still have not paid. I know multiple vendors that are owed money from snow. It is 6-19-23 and I still have unpaid invoices from February. This is a terrible company to work for.
Brilar does a great job w sod replacement and tree planting. They complete the job in a timely manner. Unexpected setbacks are communicated and explained. The crew is very professional and work hard to complete the job. I have never had issues w the sod or the plantings after the installation. My questions are answered promptly. I would highly recommend their services.
Didnt actually hire them. But one of their trailers just cut me off big time on a local street. Certainly poor advertisement.
Pay is by selection if you ever get paid. Melodie Bolt is extremely rude and unprofessional. Company seems good up front but once they are no longer dependent on your services they refuse to pay

Literally not one single good thing to say. They still owe us money from jobs we have completed. We are taking this to our attorney. One of their employees spilled the beans and told us their entire finance staff quit. They still owe us 6,100.00. They cannot tell anyone when we will be paid. They say this week, this week, and it never comes. NEVER EVER EVER DO BUSINESS IN ANY CAPACITY WITH THIS BUSINESS. I handled their snow for belle tire. And our stuff is being turned over to an attorney so. STAY AWAY! Horrible company. Oh if brilar want this taken down they will pay me 6100.00 in full.

They rarely show on their schedule day. They rarely weedwhip and regularly miss large grass areas. The only way it is done accurately is when a supervisor is present.
Let me say this before my review, I appreciate the management taking care to reply to our reviews, and I know because of managements professional attitude this situation will be resolved. Unbelievable poor job!! Grass torn up. Patches of grass left undone. Poor quality!! They were really bad with our complex at beginning of summer. Then they made great improvement, but now they have absolutely no concept of good mowing techniques. Here at Holiday Park Towne Houses, we as a community take great pride in our properties appearance. We all work together for the beauty of our complex. Someone needs to come out and look at this unprofessional job. I would think that Holiday Park Towne Houses are a very good account!
As a small business owner I was contacted by Travis Jacks to power wash a commercial building in my home town in Florida. After proposal I was hired for the cleaning. Months and months went by WITHOUT payment I had to call and warn them about having to be put in collections. Concluding all of this they took zero responsibility for thier lack of actions of leaving an invoice unpaid for over 5 months. PLEASE BEWARE AS THIS A VERY COMMON PRACTICE! STAY AWAY!
They spend HOURS running equipment outside my window in my apartment each week, yet all they really accomplish is mowing the lawn which shouldnt take nearly as long as they let it. Last week I literally saw half a dozen guys spend at least 30 minutes with leaf blowers blowing around the leaves that the lawn mower guy chopped up, only for none of the leaves to go anywhere, everything to look exactly the same as before they got here, and then spend probably an extra 5-10 minutes blowing off their truck as a group. I cannot believe my apartment complex is paying this company for a dozen guys to play around with equipment all day. What a joke.

Zero quality, Minimal effort, Standards low.. work ends with same results. (City of Detroit resident.) They need supervisors to ensure the job is done properly to meet certain standards..
This place does shabby work at best. Also live in Autumn Ridge (lansing,mi). Theyve piled snow in places where people need to get into their garage. Have left parking spaces untouched for over a week, even though there is limited parking as it is. Do not get all the way to the sidewalks on the main roads. Have left driving areas with only enough space for one vehicle to drive through. I have been at this residence for at least five years and this is by far the worst winter in regards to the timely manner of snow removal and the overall finished job performed by this company. If it were me paying this company, I would be looking for compensation for lack of efficiency.

I am disappointed in the quality of service our Lake Orion HOA is receiving from Bryar this year. It has been spotty at best with respect to weekly lawn maintenance, weed control and over all appearance.

I signed up to sub with this company for snow removal and they lied about everything they told me. Not good beware of them.
I live in autum ridge apartments in lansing. I shoveled my main enterence in my bldg. All they do is one pass done the middle of the parking lot. 24 hrs after the snow they finally did the sidewalks. Lots of fancy equipment sitting around very slow to plow.
