We had a sprinkler zone issue where one zone would not shut off. I had done some testing and replacing solenoids myself in the past, but also unable to locate a hidden valve (needed the right equipment). Douglas and Heybin were very professional, assessed the job, upfront about costs, had the right equipment/experience, and had some value added suggestions that they performed on the same visit, with no need to reschedule. The scope of the job grew a little bit, but it was clearly described around the need, as well as any extra costs, and was well worth ME not doing the laborious task of digging holes in my yard :-)

J Bell has been doing the Christmas lights in our house since we moved into our house 2018, and every year we have been incredibly pleased. They are always timely, efficient, and make our home look beautiful for the holidays! We have made a few adjustments year to year and they are always accommodating and helpful. This year we had Heybin & Henry do our lights they were polite and true professionals, making sure it all looked good and setting the timer to the times we preferred. We could not recommend them more for your lighting needs! We are hoping this year to have them put in up lighting for us, we have been so impressed!

He identified and repaired an underground line damaged by fence installation. Two J Bell service professionals arrived at my home to evaluate my sprinkler system and address 3 problem sprinkler heads. After their assessment they presented me with 3 service recommendations and the costs of each. This was one of the things I appreciated. The others were their workmanship, care for my yard and cleanliness. They walked me through everything they fixed and adjusted in the multiple zones. I m very pleased with their work and so is my husband, who usually does these type of repairs.

Man knew his stuff. I told them I needed to change out a sprinkler head, tap another and back out a sheared connector and replace it. He gave me an estimate for time before beginning. He and his coworker ran station tests after the work to ensure the work was done. Very satisfied.

Earlier I shared a raving positive review but sadly I feel like I need to take it down and post an update. It would be great if there work was as good as their upselling skills. The talked me into a new controller that never stays connected. They told me I need all new valves and they cut me what I thought was a deal until a they tried to upsale once the job was started but they worked with me and 2nd the 9 valves they supposedly totally replaced don t work. Some never come on some come on and don t turn off in the mean time my lawn is dying.now this is the second time they have been a no call no show. I hope I hear from them soon

I called J Bell services desperately needing someone to come out and repair several leaks in a drip line and replace a drip line in a section where a tree was removed. I called 2 other irrigation companies and never heard back. J Bell was able to come out the same day I called. They ran the system, identified where the leaks were and repaired the same day. They charge $30 to do an inspection but if I wanted to use them to do the work, the charge became a $320 initial visit charge. Makes no sense, I happily paid the $30 to have them leave and do no work.

They were suppose to show up between 2-5pm, got there at 6:15pm. Charge $129 an hour for service plus parts. They changed two sprinkler heads, took 15 mins and checked and adjusted some of my others. Total cost was $240. The materials were probably $15. Seemed excessive. Then they hand me a phone with a tip screen on it, I refused to tip. Think i will shop around next time.

Juan was great. He and his partner diagnosed my irrigation problem, found the leak and were able to fix it. Noticed my sprinkler heads were not efficient and made adjustments. Definitely will call if I have any more issues.

J Bell was at my house on Saturday 6/22/2014 to go over my system for 29.99. They did fix 2 reversing valves and they hey we re going good. They did miss a sprinkler head entirely that did not even have water coming out of it. After I found this and called they wanted to come back out and charge me more money after I already had paid for service s rendered. My wife asked me why they were digging on the east side and water was piling at the top of that zones reversing valve I am disabled and was wanting the more complicated issues fixed which were not. Also believe we were overcharged on the labor, the office manager is checking into that . On top of all this they ask for a tip after being charged 129.00 hour for labor!!

I called J Bell services to have them change out a few sprinkler heads. The crew that showed up was super friendly and very quick. I was amazed at how fast they were able to change out the four heads I requested. There pricing was very reasonable I would normally have a local handy man do something like this but as fast as they changed them out it was actually cheaper to have them do it instead of paying my handy man and they guarantee there work. I will definitely be calling J Bell out for future services

Great experience with this company on cleaning my gutters after our heavy storms a few weeks ago. Added featured they showed me a video of my gutters after they cleaned them!!

Both of these guys did a great job and were very diligent in making sure everything I requested was taken care of for me. It was a big job and took five+ hours. I was super impressed and highly recommend. A few days later I needed a few adjustments and they were fast to show up and worked to get it perfect. Super pleased customer!

The repair work was performed thoroughly and the technician kept my wife and I informed of the issues discovered of the irrigation system and the proper remedy to fix our system. We particularly liked that the technician showed us images of the issues and then images of the repairs. In addition, the explanation the tech gave us of our irrigation issues along with all of the possible solutions made us feel confident that the technician had expertise in irrigation repair and that the work would be performed effectively. I must admit, our irrigation system has never worked as well as it does now once the repair work was completed. Above all, the customer service is simply outstanding! I need them to fix my sprinklers. They came in and gave me a quote for $1900. So Im like ok. Do it. After 4 hours, when theyre half way down, they told us you need to pay us $3100 because there are more issues I didnt realize at the beginning. This is a straight cheat and rob. I paid you $129 to do an inspection and give me a quote. So I try to tell them this is not fair because you quoted $1900. They never ever mentioned the cost Could be higher at the beginning. They just tell me that the labor is $129/hour with the total $1900. They said we can leave now(half way done) or you need to pay us $3100 we get it down for you. I cannot leave all my sprinklers half way done. I paid $3100 at the end. I hope this experience will help other people not get cheated.

Had a great experience working with J Bell Services. One of my drip lines burst, and they were able to come the next day to fix it. They identified over watering issues and remediated them right away. Pricing was fair, and quality was great. We were so pleased, we added on additional drip filters for our potted plants. Service was not as expected. They were finished, but they werent. After checking, there were some sprinkler heads not functioning properly and some leaks in the drip lines after they finished. Of course, they charge by the hour, so they fixed those issues and it cost me more. This all happened after they told me they were finished. Bottom line, I will not be recommending or using their service again.

Do NOT use this company .I repeat do NOT use this company! I was searching for an irrigation company and J.Bell came up. I called and explained to the receptionist the issue that I was experiencing with water not properly draining from my backyard, she stated she could send someone out but it may be a busted sprinkler head. Long story short, the technicians came out and turned my sprinklers on from the sprinkler box near the road and had my sprinklers running all night unbeknownst to me! I called the next day to report the issue and they sent technicians out. When the technicians arrived, I proceeded to tell them that I needed them to shut the sprinklers off from the box in the yard as their previous technicians turned it on, Juan then told me that his technicians didn t touch anything and said it would be $129.99 for them to fix the issue and was trying to place the blame on me; he then became upset and both him and his helper jumped in the van and drove off while I was still talking!!!!!! There was camera footage that showed the guy going to the back of his work truck, removing a small shovel, kneeling down and accessing the sprinkler box. I sent video and pictures upon Dalton s request, called back several times afterwards and they refused to take my call from my phone; used a different # and requested to speak with Dalton to follow-up but an argument ensued and I was very rudely hung up on!!! If I could give them a .000001 star I would!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They gave a quote sent a picture of who was showing up people showed up on time (this is huge not everyone does this!) They guys were professional answered my questions. Jesus and Oliver worked on my sprinkler system today. They called entities to advise they were 30 minutes out. I found both gentlemen very courteous and very professional. They found three leaks, repaired them as well as the repair of approximately six heads. I am very pleased with their work and professionalism. J. Bell Services is a much better fit for my needs than the former company I had used since 1993.

They were efficient and very friendly. Julio and his coworker were great.

Today was my second time using J Bell on a project and I am one thousand percent happy that I chose to use them again. I was pleased when making the appointment on how they were on time when they said they would be there. We had a pretty big leak in our system and I was impressed on how they went over everything that they were going to do to get it back in order.

Chris and Heybin were great. I had alot of questions and they answered every one of them. They were very professional and timely while fixing my sprinkler system. They changed 3 valves and thought I had a leak but turns out no leak was found. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because they were a little over priced than other companies. I paid $772 plus tip.

Exceeded my expectations with new sprinkler system installation

Our tree root caused a leak into the valve box. When making the appointment I cautioned that I do not want my trees roots to be damaged in order to repair the leak. Julio and his teammate arrived and were absolutely PHENOMENAL! Very professional and they detected the sprinkler leaks very quickly and didnt waste any time repairing the issue without harming my trees roots. We had that valve box capped off and rezoning was the solution. A great value and Highly recommend! They even cleaned up after themselves and was very respectful to us and our property, and all with a smile!

Great work by Douglas & Erick. Had a few projects: a broken pipe, shorted zone and sprinklers needing replacement. Douglas explained the changes in detail, had the work completed on a good schedule and walked through a detailed post job review. They were at the property on time and kudos to a job well done!!

j Bell did a great job getting my sprinkler system ready for spring. Fixed all of the leaks and set everything. They re awesome!

The guys who did all of my sprinkler system examination were a pleasure to work with. They corrected several rotors and put in some additional rotors and valves. I gave the crew manager my credit card to make final payment and he entered my credit card number and it was refused. I COULDNT UNDERSTAND THAT AND GAVE HIM ANOTHER CREDIT CARD AND IT WAS ACCEPTED. It wasnt four minutes after the crew left that I received a text from the first credit card company advising me that someone had entered the wrong card number and the transaction was refused. I sent the the first credit cards text to the J BELL SERVICES with my suggestion that whoever collects the the final payment not be in such a hurry to leave enter the first credit card number again. THIS ERROR WILL NOT KEEP ME FROM USING J BELL AGAIN!

Two guys came out, diagnosed my sprinkler issue and fixed 2/3 of my broken zones the same day IN THE RAIN. They where out there digging trenches and stuff in the pouring rain. It cost a little more than I budgeted for but I feel like it was worth it. Now I can try to revive my lawn and trees.

The guys who came out today, Chris and Heybitn were professional and friendly. They knew the equipment and how to do the job. I was very pleased. I hope to see them again for future work.

My first time working with this company and it was a great experience. The two technicians, Douglas and Carlos did a great job. Its NOT easy to find honest contractors, and I think they are. Good people, hard to fine.

Juan was very professional and informative. Answered all my questions and made sure I understood the problem and what they would do to correct the problem. I used Jbell services as a second opinion and their price was much better and they quoted me one hour of labor vs the 3 hours I was quoted from another company. This resulted in a savings of $183. difference. between the two companies. Juan and his assistant showed up on time and finished the repair under an hour. The service was great they made sure everything was working properly and that I was satisfied with the work. I highly recommend them. I am also recommending them to my HOA to check them out versus the overpriced service we are currently using.

Good communication and honest visibility to what the prices were. They replaced a broken part, replaced pipes and leaks needed for our sprinklers on a Saturday house call, which I appreciated. Had I had my sprinklers maintenanced every year, we could ve caught this sooner. Just glad it s fixed!

They came out and told us things were broken that weren t and gave us a quote for $2200 to make the repairs we have since called a company out that is credited one of the major repairs they wanted to do, and charged us a quarter of the price not to mention these guys left our water running with a leak because they claimed the valve was broken when it wasn t

Worst experience ever. Paid over $2000 for them to fix the sprinkler and somehow it is still not fixed. They originally quoted $300, then $1200, then $1700 and then $2300. We were without water for 19 hours because they broke the main water line. They did fix that for free (they should since they broke it), but then told us to call the main office to get a quote for the 2 broken sprinkler heads, extender that is broken, and a leak that was somehow not included in the price. Plus, our yard now has several boxes that were added for access that were not there before. One of the boxes was cracked and had a hole in it, too. We asked about the broken lid and the worker did not replace it. Also, left a sprinkler head in our yard and a random wire is exposed. Please see pictures.

Very professional, but a little expensive. I think they overstated their cost estimate (which I had agreed to in advance) over-estimating the needed labor. That increased my cost. Nonetheless, I appreciate how they were thorough in a detailed explanation and documentation of what work was needed, then later walked me through a review of the completed work. They agreed to waive their trip charge for providing a quote since I agreed to engage them for the work. Minor communication problems. They worked hard.

Christmas Light Installation. Delighted with J Bell Services. Quick, quality work at reasonable price. Last year, I called a week before Thanksgiving & lights were up day after Thanksgiving. This year, we called early and got a significant discount.

Communication with J Bell was great. Their responses were prompt and I did not feel like I got lost in the shuffle. They came out and installed a drip irrigation line around the house and thus far has worked great. After the rain, a couple of feet of the line became exposed and they came out repaired the issue. Unfortunately, the person doing the estimate was rude and could not think outside the box! I wanted lights along my pool retiming wall! Juan said they could only glue the lights to the wall to look professional! I said no! I wanted the lights on stakes! He said it code not be done! Total lie! I went to Home Depot and bought long stake for the light $163! They still sent an estimate for $850! The person was very rude and very wrong! I paid $7200 from front yard Looked nice but I notice some lights were crooked! I fixed them! Juan cause this company to lose a good costumer! I will never use them again Kevin!!

My only problem is that J Bell includes a tip option on the invoice. This kind of service should not include a tip option period. The service they did this year was our Christmas lights. This is the fourth year I hired JBell to install Christmas lighting. I like how careful and courteous they are and that they provide the lights so I don t have to store them and I can change the colors to my liking each year. The holiday lights look great and they installed them soon after I contacted J Bell Services

Wasn t overly impressed. Had a three hour window and the technician was late! Once the technician arrived it took him 5 minutes to diagnose the issue and a further 10 minutes to try to sell me a product and work for $1200, when I declined, the cost quickly went to $800. I paid the call out fee and the technician stuck around on my driveway for another 40 minutes. I m sorry but this wasn t good, at all.
