I do not recommend this business to anyone. They did not finish the landscaping job and did not do the work as I requested. They are blaming the lack of communication on my spouse rather than doing than doing the right thing and completing the $5000+ job I have paid for in full. It wouldn’t be that difficult to just do the right thing. I’m sure they will attempt to defend their position here. Poor way of conducting business with paying customers. It’s obvious when you look at all the other reviews of dissatisfied customers. Do better!
Where do I start? First, let me be clear I did not have the work done my parents did, but I live in the house with my parents who I help take care of. I don’t want them claiming that they don’t know who I am. My parents don’t write reviews so I’m doing this on their behalf. Now on to their work. Completely horrible!!! They didn’t show up when they were supposed to. When my mom called to find out where they were she was told they would be there today and never showed up. She went up to their shop almost in tears wondering why she paid a deposit and they didn’t show up. Now Heather who was awesome with my mom told her she was supposed to be called and told they were delayed and would be there tomorrow. So they showed up and did the “work.” Grating the yard which they used a bobcat for to the tune of 1200$. Now I could see that if it was by hand. It wasn’t. Then they laid the hydro seed. Laid is a strong word. They sprayed a fine layer over the ground and of course the first time it rained it was all gone. The hydro seed was another 1200$. So for those keeping track we are at 2400$. Was there a follow up phone call to see if our seed stayed in place? No. I went out a seeded the whole yard myself and lo and behold we’ve already got grass growing. And they told us their seed would take 6 weeks to grow. 6 weeks? What kind of grass are you laying that it takes 6 weeks? On top of that when they sprayed it they should have told me to move my car. They didn’t and instead got it on my brand new car. Didn’t tell me they got it on my car either. I had to go outside and find out. That stuff can eat the paint off of my car. When mom got her final bill which was an issue in its self since they double charged her originally, she called to ensure that the charges were correct and told them that the seed washed away. They asked if she wanted them to come back out and do it again. She said no. They should have called and asked after a few days to see if it needs to be done. And why would we want you back out when you dropped the ball in the first place? So you can get it all over my car again? I feel like they took advantage of my mother. For 2400$ we should have gotten the best service. We should have gotten follow up phone calls or someone should have just came out to see if anything needed to be redone. So in short a waste of time and money. Go somewhere else. Do not use these guys!! You’re better off doing it yourself. I would give you zero stars if I could!!
I live in a rental unit that they mow for and I’ve got to say these guys are the best. I have about 20 toys too many for our furry boys and can’t throw any away because they do play with every single one of them. Every now and then we forget about mowing day and since our yard isn’t picked up of toys they are supposed to skip us according to our lease agreement. Today is mowing day and me an my fiancé have had about the worst week imaginable (weekend included). I was on phone interview and my fiancé was fast asleep and I couldn’t run outside to clean up when I saw them coming. The guy started picking up our toys and putting them in a nice pile near our deck and I couldn’t be more appreciative of it! Thank you for going the extra mile and doing this for us we are very grateful and feel guilty each time but so appreciate the times you’ve helped us out!
Was hoping they would do the right thing and show integrity they mow the rental properties next to mine. Well one of the employees weed wacked all the strawberrys also causing damage to my siding.I did have it on camera but after 3 days it self deletes called them sent emails they said they would be in touch yet no action has been taken one would have thought the employee that did it would just admit he made an honest mistake and resolve the issue this hasn't been the case.They also mow over bunny rabbits and leave the carcass laying around I wouldn't hire these guys for anything
They installed concrete sealer wrong and I notified them with photos on 4/13. The sealer was clearly not correct and you could see roller marks all over the slab with giant white rectangles covering up the colored concrete. Contacted the company to fix it with no reply ended up fixing it myself and when they finally contacted me 5/23 they essentially told me it’s not their problem and threw the agreement verbiage at me. So if you’re looking for quality and good customer service maybe look else where.
Wow! Manny’s snow removal is the best. They clear our driveway by blowing the snow out of our drive and into the yard. We have a long driveway and they always clear it quickly. They even shoveled by our front entry, and we didn’t contract for that. Thanks again. Next time I will send some photos.
It is hard to evaluate your services. I think you only removed snow once. The stakes are in place, but they haven't been necessary. We still may get measurable snowfall. If we don't, is there any part of my payment refundable? I have had to call an ambulance 3 times in the last week or so. If I have to do it again, they will have to get into my driveway if we do get snow.
The crews took extra care of my lawn and landscaping requests. I have a large yard and they always leave it looking meticulous. They even take time to pet my dogs and roll my garbage cans up to my garage on garbage day. Anytime I have asked for help with something outside of what was planned, they are receptive and take action. I am also happy with snow removal and the salting they do to prevent my driveway from being slick and packed down with snow.
Manny s is the best. The customer service is very professional They are very empathetic about the times and situations of what s going on in the world and they understand that sometimes it takes time and patience. They want to give you the best possible service that they can provide in the most efficient way possible.
I would never hire them again! They came to aerate and over seed my lawn but only the backyard was done. I contacted them and they said theyd come back to do the rest. Nobody ever showed and theyre still fighting me to pay a bill for a job that was never finished. Very unprofessional!!

Manny s is the best. The customer service was prompt and very professional. The crew removed snow from our driveway and sidewalks in a timely manner without incident. Furthermore, with the placement of our driveway, we always get blown snow from the neighbors that create drifts when it doesn t even snow. Mannys CAME BACK to clear the newly created drifts. I can t say enough good things about these guys.

Went thru this company all with year and I like the quality of work they did for my driveway and side walks for snow removal and nice and clean and will go thru them in the future
Their snow blower broke down about half way through cleaning our driveway and city sidewalk. They left and never came back to finish the job. I had to go out and shovel the rest myself because it was a city sidewalk. We called to find out why they didnt come back and they did not answer their phone or return our phone call when we left a message. We paid for the winter contract and they stated in that contract that they would come back after the snowplow went with significant snow fall. They NEVER came back and then charged us an additional $171 at the end of the year because the snow fall went over by 2.2 inches. I feel they shouldve returned some of our money for the times that I had to go out and finish their job that they were hired to do. We will never use this company for any service again.

This is the most worthless place! They do a lousy job! Pay up front and they dont show up and when they do they dont do the job you paid for! Now they are trying to get 1400.00 additional for going over the snowfall? What?? End of July and a that bill comes? No way are you getting away with this! Do not hire this company or you will regret it!
We had the worst experience hiring Mannys to do our lawn. The manager, Scott, was very rude and ripped us off. He sent people to remove weeds in our yard with their bare hands. Then, he turned around to charge us $300. When we went to his office, he hid in his personal office and texted the receptionist to handle us. Mannys did not do a good job for a final grade of our yard because the rear end ground is higher than our house. Everyone should know that in order for water to flow out, the yard closest to the house should be higher than the yard. We spent $5000 for nothing and had to hire another landscaper to redo the lawn work. I cant even begin to express our disappointment.
We got the snow removal and we saw them tops, three to four times, they never showed up after a big storm we had this year, not sure if they got super behind or not enough people, but I will never get this service again. I know we are not top on the list, but was hoping they would have been all right. I was wrong.
2 weeks waiting on a landscaping quote. Every other business I requested a quote from got back to me in 24 hours. I ended up cancelling the quote request.
Not only did they take two weeks to service my lawn. But charged me $178.00 for ONE-TIME mowing. The original estimate was $77 which was still way too overpriced for my small lawn but they claimed it took two of their employees to get the job done, which I know that wasnt the case last year in Oct. when they mowed my lawn with only 1 individual and charged me $40. If you wanna risk using their services, make sure you know how much you really going to pay. Also I hear they are not that reliable during winter from the other comments.
Mannys recently removed an old garden in our not so easy to access back yard. They did a great job and everything we asked for was done on time and looked great!
I tried 4 times to get someone out to view my yard. They said they had some turnover so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They said they would call or come out several times but blew me off each time. Only after a couple of days did they call me to give a sad story and Id relent and give them another chance. The owner Guy Fox called me and said he would be at my door on a Monday at 10:00. Never showed, never called. Then he called me a day later with a completely different attitude. Told me to just get someone else. After doing a little research, seems Fox has had other failed businesses. I can see where the source of the turnover is happening. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. If you give them any money, you probably will never see them again.
We used this company to mow our lawn when our mower was being serviced. They charged us $538.33 for a one time mowing. They said that two people spent over 3 hours each there when they left in the middle to dump grass and charged us for that. We have since had a kid mow our lawn, bag the grass, and trim and it has never taken him over 1.5 hours on his own.
Manny s Lawn Service of Fargo is the most pitiful lawn mowing service I have ever had to deal with. They were hired to mow my neighbor s properties on both sides of my privately owned property. They continued to think that they needed to mow my lawn even after I called and notified them that they weren t permitted to do so multiple times over the last two summers. I never hired them. Last summer I tried to reseed my lawn and they drove over it making a muddy mess and left tracks in my driveway. This summer I put up a fence to help show them where they should and shouldn t be mowing. Their staff are clearly incapable of safely handling a lawn mower as they drove right into my fence and damaged two panels. Their staff are also incapable of reading house numbers to make sure they are on the right property. Manny s management refuses to reimburse me for the multiple incidents of trespassing, which is a criminal offense and the damages done to my fence and lawn. Their customer service is the worst and management is very disrespectful. Management didn t even have the decency to even apologize. Their lack of professionalism and inability to appropriately care for lawns is pathetic. I wish I could fire them but I can t because I never hired them nor would I as the lawns they care for look dead and nothing like their advertised photos of their work. If this is how they treat people who don t hire them I can t imagine how they treat paying customers.
Mannys was very well prepared and also took the time to explain the processes to us. They really went the extra mile and you do not see that much these days. Thank you!
