They are great to work with and I have used them for several years for sprinkler blow outs in the fall.

Employees wearing company apparel are representing the brand whether they are on the clock or not. I hope you talk to the employee in the photo because he came flying down our residential road. He obviously didn t like that he was caught speeding on camera.

What a refreshing surprise to see our snow removed so quickly and so well. Also the unexpected chocolate treats were a nice surprise!

Unfortunately I was described an hourly rate, but received a bill that did not align with our agreement. I called and was originally treated nicely, but not so much the 2nd time when I followed up as I did not hear back after the 1st call. Since we could not settle our $60 disagreement and was yelled at during the 2nd call, I will leave this review. Its too bad this is what it has come to, but I was more than willing to partner and pay all but $60 of the total bill.

Would rate negative 5 stars if possible, worst customer service experience ever!!!! I was in contact with Curt many times over a almost 3 month time period from April to July to complete 4 projects in preparation of getting my sprinkler system ready and moved for a fence install. They contracted out one job to a plumbing company and after 4 requests over a month time period I still have yet to receive a detailed invoice of an over $1000 bill - neither company will provide that to me- how shady. I informed them of the 6 week timeline of my fence being ordered and then after completing the 2nd of 4 steps of my project- they never showed up again, regardless of being told by Curt on May 26th that itd be done in 2-3 weeks. Over a month went by and when I got ahold of Curt on the phone he told me they dropped the ball on my project . That the utility locates done June 3 were no longer good and wed have to start over. My fence supplies were in and I was left calling other companies in town to squeeze me in and get my sprinkler work done asap. I called Aqua Lawn on a Monday, they were here 3 days that same week and got all my projects done in 3 days that Turf Tamers couldnt do in 3 months. Not only did they not complete the work, they also billed me for work they did on my neighbors property. Never again. Stay away from Turf Tamers.

This has been the worst possible experience we have ever had with a lawn care company. We hired them to redo the grading in our yard. The estimate was 1/3 of the price thry charged us. They also charged us extra time because it was hot out and the staff had to take over half their time in breaks. The lawn was done incorrectly and now our basement leaks after a rain. They were supposed to come back to fix it this year, and remove extra charges. They have done neither, even after multiple dealings with the owner. DO NOT Recommend.

Our company leases a building and Turf Tamers is outsourced by them to handle our lawn care. While they were here we asked about the weeds in our rockbeds and they followed up with our property manager to help us get them taken care of. They were super friendly and helpful and very professional. Thank YOU!

From the first call to our sod being delivered, everyone was awesome! Lisa is so sweet and made sure we were sent a quote right away. Lance made sure to talk to the equipment operator to get the pallets of sod placed around our yard so it was convenient for us since we were laying our own sod. Sod was delivered right on time and they confirmed the day before that sod was being delivered the next day. The sod wasn t dried out and it is sending out roots 4 days later we couldn t be happier with our experience with Turf Tamers! Thank you!

So this is going to be a bit long, but there were a lot of factors into my review... my experience with Turf Tamers was really up and down. I asked for two services, trimming of my bushes throughout summer, and spring cleanup of my front lawn. First - the trimming of the bushes. The initial job they did was actually really great! It looked good and they cleaned up after themselves well. As far as the spring cleanup goes... Thats another story. First of all, they didnt come to do the spring cleanup at the same time as the bush trim. Fine, I figured it was two separate services, so they probably have different schedules. Apparently, not true. About two weeks after the bush trim, I get a bill for the spring cleanup.... and they hadnt done anything. No matter, I emailed the company and they were very courteous about the mix-up, and sent someone to complete the spring clean up as soon as possible, which was about another week. Well, the service for spring cleanup mentions removal of debris and preparation of lawn for spring growing season on the invoice. On the website, this service is listed as Turf Tamers can include shrub cleaning, window wells, and even tree lines in this service. In the spring, we also recommend sand removal on the boulevard. The sand has chemicals that are detrimental to the growth of you yard. What they did... was mowed my lawn, with a rider lawnmower, which took all of ten minutes total (if not less). They didnt clean up any debris (which I explained to them was one of the main reasons I wanted the service in the first place) and there was no sand removal in boulevard-adjacent lawn. Im not even sure they weed-whacked. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt and say they did, just to be gracious. I have a very small lawn, I dont honestly have an issue with mowing it, but I thought it might be nice to have professionals clean it up so its ready for spring/summer. How wrong I was! In the end, I guess Id recommend this company for their bush maintenance services, but I highly, highly suggest NOT hiring them for their spring cleanup service, as it is NOT as advertised!

Was given a quote and got charged over double from the quote. Was told that the quote was not on paper and that is the price. Will not work again with. Disappointed on how they handled everything

No show, no call for a scheduled sprinkler service appointment.

Awful! Make sure you pay them after you check their work. Best advice, is to never hire this company! Ruined my gate, ruined one of my gutters, and charged me $200 for work after I fired them. Do not get on auto pay or theyll rip you off. Makes me sick! Didnt spray rocks for weeds twice! Tried to charge me 1st failure to so so, but refunded me. 2nd time they were to spray rocks they didnt, and charged me anyway.... bad business!

This company is absolutely horrible! What good is a snow plow business that doesn t plow?! We live in a complex that uses this company, it s been almost a day since the storm and our roads are still a mess. Thank goodness it s a Sunday, or else I would not have been able to get to work. This company is worthless, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I couldnt recommend this company more! They are so professional, work tirelessly to get the job done, and truly do everything possible to ensure we, the customer, are happy. Customer service is sincerely one of the absolute best in the industry and their work is just as impressive. The Brandt place apartments has this company for snow removal and they are terrible! The snow storm hit Sunday and they didn t start plowing the parking lot until 7 am Monday. They left a huge snow pile in the middle of the parking lot that blocks an exit road and 4 parking spots has been sitting there for 2 whole days, they haven t cleared the sidewalks at all still and haven t cleared 60% of the parking spots of snow. I understand it was a large snowstorm but the lack of effort of getting this apartment done is very frustrating.

I can t say enough nice things about Turf Tamers!! We hire them for snow removal and lawn care for our businesses and they always do such a great job and are very timely! With these big snow storms we ve had they do nothing but work there tails off trying to keep all there accounts happy and get access to people! We also have hired them to do landscaping and sprinklers and they did a phenomenal job!! We are very happy customers of theirs for the past 4 years!

As much as you can expect from a snow removal company. The more snow you get the longer it takes for removal but the job gets done. It beats moving it yourself.

My lawn was supposed to get 3 applications of spray this summer. They sprayed it once back in June and left a flag. 8/20/18 I emailed them inquiring about why I have not seen a flag for 2 months. They told me it shouldve been sprayed but they will look into it. I have not heard back from them since. There has been no flags and Im positive they have not sprayed since the first application.

Poor customer service. After initially visiting with them, I was supposed to receive a call with a week but never did. I had to call them and set something up. An hour passed after the scheduled time, at which I called only to find out the truck broke down but was never notified. We scheduled for the next day. An hour again passed after the scheduled time, at which I called only to find out they were running late. I was never contacted regarding missed appointments or late arrivals. I cancelled everything at that point. Considering I completely rearranged my schedule twice for this company, it is clear that they dont care about all of their potential customers. Turf Tamers, LLC, if you are reading this, please contact me and offer me a discount. Your records during the week beginning June 4, 2017 should indicate who I am.

This company along with Lisa the owner rude and unwilling to be responsible in what they do,first their crew left my gate open multiple times ruining the gate,which I now have paddlocked,second they never put my sump pump hose back causing it to crack and now I have issues with needing to replace that,third they spray for weeds and I said my yard still has some Lisa said well u have to water your yard in order for the chemicals to work!Which she obviously never told me or I would have watered my yard fourth thing my house has been vandalized since they have been on the property and Ive never had an issue in 4years living here, after paying over 1,000 for them this summer to do mowing but not help in any way except that Im out more in replacing the fence door,sump pump hose,vandalism,and false security and pure lack of respect on their part!DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY WITH THEM as THEY DO NOT CARE!They should be shut down!Better to let it grow or hire amateurs!

I got great customer service. They called us right away when sod arrived. Product looks great. I would recommend them to anyone.

Zero communication. Crews showed up unannounced multiple times. Crews also no-showed scheduled appointments w/o a call to say they are running late and/or wont be able to make it. Multiple voicemails left at their office and never received a return call. I WOULD NOT recommend them nor will I work with them in the future. Save yourself the hassles and frustrations and work with a different company.

Called in mid may for someone to come and clean up our yard, said theyd have someone out there the next week. 2 weeks later, no one has showed up or called me. I gave them a call back inquiring about the appointment i set up and I left a message. I got a call back a few days later and they said they havent come because its been raining and they dont do work when its wet.. they told me they would for sure have someone out there the following week to have my yard taken care of.... anyway its been well over a month and no one has taken the time to come out or call me. Super disappointed in this company, wouldnt recommend to anyone.

Turf Tamers is a one stop shop for everything. I call Mike to tell him everything I would need for the year, and hes always prompt and efficient with getting everything done. His staff does a lot for me, including weekly mowing, edge trimming, and blowing grass off sidewalks and my driveway. I really enjoy their services because they are prompt and efficient.

Mike does a great job with all of his services. We use him for our lawn in the summer but does an even better job with snow removal in the winter. Turf Tamers is the best crew in the area.
