Garrett came to my residence and took the time to hear my ideas and created an amazing plan for the area around my patio. The hardscape and softscape crews were efficient and diligent. They paid attention to the small details and sought feedback along the way which lead to a few small changes in the original plans. The retaining wall and rock bed with stepping stones turned out better than I could have imagined. I'll definitely be using Precision again and recommending them!
I have been utilizing the services for my company that Precision L&L provide for a couple years now, and they have exceeded my expectations. The quality of work performed is the best that I would expect, the timeframe of work performed is on par, and just overall level of service is something we are very fortunate to have in Fargo. When I contact them for a service, whether it's landscaping, tree replacement, staining, burying downspout ext or sewer hoses, etc. they don't just provide numbers for a bid, they recommend the best course of action for the job as well as any additional services that may add value to the property or provide longevity to the building. All of this is on top of their communication skills. In 14 years of management, I have not worked with anyone like Brady before. His knowledge, detail for each job, and lengths he goes to, to help myself or my properties get where they need to be is remarkable. Very thankful for this company.
UPDATE (10/29/24): Precision reached out and answered some of the questions and concerns I had about the pricing and changes in original plan. They were very open about any issues or thoughts I had on the project. They were quick to answer and solve issues. ----- I had a patio put in this summer. The team I worked with made it very easy to come up with a design, answer any questions on the contract, and covered any follow-up questions. The only issue I had was the final cost of the work came in a couple grand over the original estimate and the initial requested pavers weren't available at the time of installation. The work was completed fairly quickly and they backfilled in the gaps around the patio with dirt and grass seed to match the rest of the yard. Overall, I'm happy with the work that was done.
I recently hired Precision and Landscape for a number of services. John came to the house to determine first what was needed and deferred to me my needs. In conversing with John, I was impressed with his attention to my needs, gave good feedback, and it was obvious that client care is the most important priority of this company. They have been out twice now for lawn mowing, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I am scheduled for more services and have the same confidence in them. Thank you, John and crew for excellent service.
Recently had a fence put in. Everything went smoothly from the estimate with Rory, to the actual day of breaking ground. Communication was there at every email I sent with fast responses. The week they were on site, the foreman and team were friendly and communicated well with their intention and timeline. Would not have asked for anything different.
Had a great experience. They did our landscaping project this year with concrete edging, rock, stamped patio and a small privacy fence. Kyle was awesome to work with on the design and was very helpful & responsive with all my questions. They also helped do some touch ups and corrections where needed after as well. **UPDATE : After writing this review the director of the company contact me by phone. He wanted to hear what happened. So, after expressing to him what happened he offered to come over and Power Rake my lawn. He explained that the Power Rake is more of an aggressive technique or process to get the dead grass. An apology was given to me about not contacting me before coming onto my property. I accepted his offer of having his team come over to power rake my lawn at a time when I would be home. They came over that afternoon. The team lead guy was very pleasant. The team power raked my lawn and did a great job! I am very happy now how it looks. Through this experience it's important to learn the difference between dethatching and power raking. **I want to thank the director and the team for addressing my frustrations and concerns.** Terrible and unsatisfied service! I specifically asked to be contacted to when they would be coming. I was told it would be the first part of May. So, I was not even close to expecting them even if I wasn't contacted. I was not contacted and came home to what looked like part of my lawn had been mowed. My neighbor usually mows my lawn, so I called to ask if he mowed my lawn. He said, confusingly no. So then after looking at my security cameras I determined Precious Lawn Service was on my property without letting me know. I called them immediately. The assistant said she would contact a supervisor. A supervisor called me and asked to come over. I explained by concerns and frustrations. He explained that they are not able to contact me before coming over because they have too many clients. Then he asked if I requested it? I DID REQUEST A CONTACT! I INDICATED I WANTED TO BE HOME WHEN THEY CAME. Also, since they did not contact me, they were not able to get into the backyard because my gate was locked. I was explaining my frustrations to all the issues I was upset about. Then he chuckled and gave me a smirk and giggle. Then I told him this is not funny. This was VERY DISRESPECTFUL! They were supposed to dethatch my lawn and then for 10 minutes after he left, I had another person come over and he raked up all this dead grass. I have included the pictures of just a small part of my lawn where there was still a lot of dead grass. I can't do this because I have a bad hip that is why I wanted the dethatching done. Now I have to hire someone else to get all my dead grass off my lawn.
Promptly came after arranging lawn care however sprayed all of the kids toys in the backyard despite specifically requesting a call prior to presentation so I could pick them up. Also, very unimpressed that they did it anyways. Overpriced especially considering the lack of attention to details.
They charged me nearly $5000 more than estimate on small landscape project and never notified me prior. BEWARE!!!!! Don t hire them!

We had 2 guys come do our fall leave clean up and they did an outstanding job. After they were done our yard was the best looking in the neighborhood. Highly recommend a fall clean up from Precision!

Precision Lawn care has been an excellent choice for us. Not only the care they give to the lawn with scheduling feeding and a nice job mowing all year long. Then we were introduced to Lisa, their Landscape designer and WoW what a difference. This home is a for our mom and was built new two years ago. There was some settling of the dirt and sod near the home that we needed addressed and then went all out on a beautiful concrete curb edging and leveled it all out too putting beautiful rock, plants, flagstone pavers and even added a rain barrel for our Mom to water her plants with. We couldnt be more happy with the result and they even got it done in time for a family reunion which was important to our Mom. Lisa listened and came up with a beautiful plan that fit our needs and made a huge difference in the curb appeal and Our Moms enjoyment. All the work crew were so nice to our Mom who is in her 80s. Just an all around fantastic experience. I highly recommend!

Upon looking for a reputable company for my fence project I came across Precision Lawn & Landscape. Gave them a call and they sent out a great project manager who listened to my needs and concerns, and helped my pick out a nice fence for my project. The installers who came out soon after were kind, professional, and quickly installed the fence with precision of a swiss watchmaker. By chosing Precision I got a great looking fence which fits local ordinance and is maintenance free, and adds security, and value to my property. I would highly recommend Precision Lawn & Lanscape for those who are looking for a great value for fencing or other Landscape projects.
Initially I was frustrated with quality of work provided and the communication between the various contractors, however, Brady the COO responded very quickly to my concerns. He was great to work with and went above and beyond to address my concerns and made sure I was happy and the issues were resolved. I have a very bad experience with this company. Once they made sign a contract, they don t respect all my needs nor the scheduled time to do the job. They just showed up when i was not home and do whatever they wanted and improperly. Moreover, I asked them to come fix their mess, since I am still in warranty. The next thing, when they came to try to fixit, my yard was contaminated with barnyard grass, which I have to pay again for them to kill; even though I have paid off the total amount of the contract. My backyard is still a mess..... Guess what? This company even sued me to pay extra money about what they did not do. One of the employees confirmed it later. This company doesnt care about your needs, but the money. It doesnt care about the results that come from it, but the money. BE CAREFUL SIGNING ANY CONTRACT WITH PRECISION LAWN&LANDSCAPE COMPANY folks. - Read careful before signing anything contract with them. - Have any sample of what they are spreading on your yard. - Make sure you insist, even though I did, on being present while they do the job, because they are not to respect it. - DO NOT PLAY WITH THEM because of your hard earned money. - They took 17K from me and did not do the job I asked for. - when I asked to meet with the owner to explain my concerns, they refused. Reply: You guys know how to lie. My yard is looking great today because of friends help and the products I used from Home depot.... Do Not take advantage of it. I just leave it to your conscience.

Precision does a great job with there maintenance spraying. They come out multiple times throughout the season to give you a luscious green lawn with no weeds. My lawn is the healthiest it s ever been since signing up with Precision for their maintenance package. Shout out to Jon and the Spray crew over at Precision for a job well done!

Weve been very happy with the service since switching over this year. Weve had dethatching and two grass spray applications. Were also having an aeration done in the fall. When we moved in last fall it was obvious the lawn had been neglected a bit. Our lawn is now looking a lot nicer. Next year will be even better becuse of the services Precision has provided for us. They are professional, tidy, and competitively priced. I highly recommend their lawn care services.
Precision came to our rescue after a lengthy recovery from surgery. They came within a day to mow the lawn and continued to come weekly to keep it well maintained. The crews have been very professional and have always done a good job. We are grateful to them for their service and would recommend them to anyone needing a reliable, efficient service provider.
Requested a quote for a deck. They were responsive at first but after a while I stopped hearing from them. Almost 3 months later and I still havent received a quote. I had my deck built by another company.
In spite of all the standing water from the rains, the landscape project turned out great.
Precision Lawn did an amazing job dethatching our yard this Spring. It was beyond my expectations! The guys were friendly and cleaned up all the clippings! I would recommend to friends and family!

Worst decision I EVER made was picking this company. Had my whole front lawn completed they used patches from other jobs and messed up my ENTIRE LAWN I called several times, they had to use MY warranty to replace, the took them over a month to get it completed.
Precision L&L three years at two different houses, Fargo. First was excellent because the driveway faced south, received high AOI from sun =snow and ice-free, except Hell freezes a few weeks. Next time, Nort Facing, Dooh! Oh well, live and learn. I am also a general contractor and own two small businesses; I speak to the guys that take care of my lawn and explain my neighbors and My expectations and adjustments to desires. Stay in contact Becca and Kristen and let them know ur needs. Always accommodating and patient with me regarding business, even if im out of town three months late on payment. I have personally driven a Case 721F wheel loader, and a few Volvo L70s and L90s on my driveway never had cracks. I have never seen PL&L(Precision) harm my concrete. I have seen owners over-salted it or contractors over-vibrated, created a soft cream layer to make their finish trowel or Curbing job easier, causes pitting, gouging, and spawling. I have repaired many concrete projects from residential to Gfafb Runway. The Civilian/Military team cut, filled and repaired about 3000 spawls 3 feet deep(Runway pressure req.) in 3 days. Poor concrete is a sign someone rushed it or the crew was lazy, inexperienced, or hurried. Besides level it, quickset45 or 90 with fibrous resin, it will last years, do it right. Precision has been great for me, I recommend them. They take good care of us and are friendly people. Dont blame snow/yard co., blame the co. that built you pavement, didnt tamp correctly, or even skipped putting class 13 with binder CL 1/3/5 if deep enough and tamp every 2 feet up as filling, or didnt crack seal, or didnt use rebar and instead galvanized cattle fence, didnt cut or install expansion joint or use tar-felt, didnt use Sikaflex, didnt use tables on the rebar, didnt hammer drill deep enough to set the rebar, didnt slope properly or pour forms deeper around the outside edge to prevent cracking. Many issues that are not the lawn/snow companys fault.

I highly recommend this company for snow removal. They are dependable with services and do a great job of clearing snow from the driveway and sidewalks.
I have had Precision contracted to clear snow from my driveway for several years. They also shovel the snow off of my porch/steps. They are very prompt in clearing off the snow even though I live out in the country. Being retired, I don t need it done immediately to get to work. However, it has always been done within a day. It is common for them to come after midnight the first day after a snowfall. They do a great job!
Precision handled our snow removal this winter ( 22/ 23), a busy winter for snow removal, and they were excellent. They always sent someone over virtually immediately to clear our driveway after/during every snow event, then sent a team over promptly to handle sidewalks and clean-up. Their staff is friendly and reliable and they work hard, at all hours of the night. We have used other snow removal companies in the past but none compare to Precision. I absolutely recommend Precision for your snow removal needs!
They started snow removal for my neighborhood this year and it s been disappointing. Over 24 hours before they re in our neighborhood and they do a mediocre job. I do not recommend.
Snow removal - I was very impressed with the company and the promptness of getting the driveway and sidewalk cleared right after all the snow storms subsided. It has been a brutal challenge I am sure for this years winter with cold temperatures and excessive amounts of snow, much appreciated for us people who had to make it in to work.

Precision Lawn & Landscaping has cared for our yard for several years. I especially appreciate that they dont always mow in the same direction. As they vary NS, EW, and diagonally~ the cut is cleaner, the wheel tracks less, and the lawn looks neater. Theyre a well-trained team.

Our snowblower broke down, and we called, and they were on top of it. My wife and I have medical issues, and if it were not for Precision, we would have been snowed in for a while.
In the fall of 2021, this company did a fall clean-up at our lake home and charged us $289.00 which was a reasonable price and comparable to other lawncare companies. One complaint was that they hit our bird feeder which was mounted on a 2x4, broke the 2x4 off and let it lay in our yard. The company never contacted us about the damage, they simply ignored it. In May, they came out to our lake home and did a spring clean-up. We were not notified that they were coming to our home, they simply showed up on a Saturday when we werent home and our property was being watched by our neighbor. They made an absolute mess of our lava flower gardens, blowing lava onto our patio, blowing leaves onto my annual flowers that were sitting on a patio table ready for planting. When we arrived home and drove into our driveway, from the noise it was apparent that they had blown lava rocks onto the drive way and simply left them there. I received a bill for $880.00 for the spring clean-up which was the same work they did in the fall and charged me $289.00. They also ran one of their machines into one of our 6ft. garden lamps that now has to be recemented into the ground. The day before I received this bill, they came to do weeding and dress up the lava gardens (the same ones they blew the lava rock out of in May). I was charged $170.00 for them to empty 5 bags of lava rock - lava rock that I had purchased and ready to be used in the gardens. I have never received an estimate or had a contract with this company. It appears that if you inquire about their services and what you would like to have done, they simply show up and then charge you outrageous prices and demolish your property! I have turned this over to my attorney as this company is totally scamming people who live at the lake. Horrible company, a total scam!

Six years ago I had Precision repair/upgrade the landscaping in my yard. I had lived in my Fargo home for several years and it needed an update. They were very professional and did a beautiful job! I have continued to use their service for both lawn care and snow removal. They have a great crew...reliable and friendly.
I was referred to Precision Lawn & Landscape after learning they did fence installation. My first question was whether or not they would entertain my request as I am located 90 miles from Fargo. There was no hesitation with our location and they were happy to walk me through the process. I emailed a preliminary plan which could be conveyed by many as a challenging install. There were level changes and a myriad of obstacles to navigate in an effort to give the look that the fence was part of the initial landscaping plan. I was pleasantly surprised to have received a detailed estimate the same day as the plan was submitted. Precision was hired, they showed up as scheduled and stuck to their original estimate. They were thorough, professional and did an amazing job! Prior to contacting Precision I left a message with two other fencing providers. One never returned my call. The other did but only after Precision had already completed the job. Additionally, after meeting the Precision guys onsite I learned that they provide a lot of services. One of which is mosquito control. We live in a heavily wooded area and our time outside in the evening summer months is cut short when the bugs come out. We decided to give this service a try and all I can say is that it works! This was our first year that we were not forced inside due to mosquitoes. We are now on a scheduled maintenance program and couldnt be happier enjoying the time weve gained outside. Precision simply operates as a business should. They communicate, show up and provide fantastic service.

Called for removal of snow from my roof. They were very responsive to my request for service and got back to me within 30 minutes. They did their best to provide a reasonable timeframe for service and were communicative when they got delayed.
Precision Lawn & Landscape has done our lawn care and snow removal for 5+ years and we are beyond pleased with the work they do. Always friendly and professional, job is done with care, and always answer or call right back for any questions. This past month has been especially brutal with the bitter cold temps and deep snow. I d like to give a shout out to this amazing company! I just passed a car stuck in the snow at the intersection by Kroll s Diner. I was just about to stop when I noticed a Precision truck stop and a group people get out w shovels to help the woman stuck in the intersection. It warmed my heart to watch them work to get her car out in no time at all! Thank you so much for all you do! What a great company!

The whole process from start to finish was smooth and easy. They did an excellent job on our patio and some other landscaping. The workers stayed late to get it all done on day 2 and they all had great attitudes despite the long hours. Cant recommend them enough.

These guys are so courteous and professional. They make you feel valued and are quick to reply. There are some good providers out there in FMWF, but these guys are in the top!
They did an awful grading job and refused to correct their work. They even charged me an extra $500 in grading costs on top of my bid. Many other landscapers have come in to bid to correct the work and are astonished at how terrible of a job it is. We now have to pay to try and fix it.
Lawn care & snow removal at our condominium have been excellent. Skylar, the owner, is very easy to reach. During this past winter, Precision came back out at no extra charge when wind or city plowing blocked us in again. During summer months our lawn looks beautiful.
Very bad experience with this company. From the starting point with the estimate done by someone, had to be approved by another, what was actually done from the estimate did not reflect what was estimated. Skylar (boss) whom I meet once because I physically went to find their office, refused to give me a sketch of what they would actually do to my garden unless I committed and gave them 50% of the bill. To this day even though I committed to have them do work in my garden, I still have not seen a paper sketch. My frustration was when I would call the guy who estimated the price the first place for an explanation, he never answered the phone. I left several messages and texts, until I had to call the office and he was not anywhere to be found. Until now I never heard from the guy who physically came and did the measurements. The company seem to have a complete disconnect between what is estimated and customer preferences, and what actually happened after the fact. They came with a truck load of dirt and they left with most of it, and I was charged for (according to Skylar...the boss) half of the truck. I was there I watched the boys work, I know what was done and not. It was a bad and an expensive experience. I would not use their service again, however if you do...please be there and double even triple check your estimate and verify if it was actually done according to it.
They worked amazingly well with my hectic work schedule to visit our house about our walk-out patio that frequently floods. I really appreciate the flexibility!

Precision does a fantastic job of working with you to ensure you get the results you want. We had no idea where to start with the landscaping or our new home. Beginning with just a dirt foundation was overwhelming. Precision did a fantastic job of listening to what we liked for plants and trees and turned our plans into a beautiful yard. The follow-up service work of fertilizing and aeration is always timely and professional. Dont waste your time checking with others -- Precision is the best!

We have been using this business for the past 7 years. They have been great to work with. We have had minor concerns in the past and Skylar is always responsive and addresses them in a timely and professional manner. They mow and trim our yard, shovel our snow, and help us with planting if need be (cold weather isnt always kind to shrubs and flowers). We highly recommend this business!
Was paying $260/mo for them to mow my lawn, weekly. When I found out I could pay my renter, Meridian, $75/mo for the exact same service from Precision I was excited. I talked to the owner, Skylar, which we had no legally binding written contract with and threw a fit when I told him I wanted to cancel our contract with them and go through Meridian. After my lawn care was switched over my lawn was mowed once, then not for two weeks. I called Meridian to see what was going on and they told me the owner refused to mow your lawn because of a bill you have with them. I dug through my mail and found a bill for $440... it definitely was forgotten about, but I never received a call from Skylar saying they wouldn t be taking care of the lawn until it was paid, so I m annoyed. Went directly to their office, immediately, paid my last $440 bill, and was on my way. Skylar also claimed since they started taking care of the lawn it s been looking much better... actually I paid $600 out of my own pocket for seed and fertilizer, so I don t give any credit to Precision for making my lawn look better. Since posting my negative reviews Skylar has called me and my roommate at least 10 times in the last two weeks. Would ve been nice to get a call saying they weren t coming for two weeks. I ll be contacting Meridian with problems with my lawn, not Precision directly, I ll be expecting the same from you, Skylar.
