Very poor service. They were late and left with me very unsatisfied.

We have had sod laid 2 summers ago and during the instillation the sidewalk got broken. They were supposed to come last summer to fix it. Here we are almost 2 summers later and it still has not been repaired

Best time of year to drop off a snowblower for repair. February. One week wait instead of a month when I first checked in December. Offseason is the best season for every seasonal item

S & S Landscaping is easily the best place in Fargo to shop for the stuff my backyard needs. The friendly expert staff have years of experience and always make it easy to find what Im looking for. Whether I need to ask Jill to find parts or schedule repairs for my yard equipment, Morgan and the nursery staff to help pick out the perfect plants, or Jackson to set me up with a new mower or snow blower, I know I can trust them to get it right. Just make sure to call early in the winter if you need landscaping done, their schedule for the summer fills up fast!

From before the sale to service and customer support after the sale, they are the best. It s really hard to find this kind of customer service these days! Keep up the great work!

First time there and staff were excellent to work with!

Do NOT use S and S Landscaping for your landscape project. I asked them multiple times to move my concrete pad up, before it was poured to no response. I also had many other requests/questions during the project, that could have been addressed but were not and now its to late. I was also told it would be done early July, but it went into October and none of the grass took. I repeat, DO NOT USE S and S Landscaping for your project.

I buy most of my lawn mower essentials at s&s landscaping. Their service is awesome and they have a wide array of knowledge. Their prices are awesome.

To say David is the person who talks less but takes action more according to what customer says and I confirm that. Also they did great job on our installing irrigation system, always ready to fix things so far. GREAT price compare to others in town. Recommending it!!!

I have purchased probably close to 20 trees from S&S over the last 3-4 years. Most recently they planted 6 new Swedish Aspen trees in my back yard. The purchase process was great with the employee helping me determine which trees to select. I specifically want to call out RYAN and the other 2 guys who were at my home this week to install the trees. They went out of their way to make sure I had my trees positioned correctly, even going to the extent of pointing out that the flags I had placed were 2 out of alignment with the trees on the other side of the yard. More than anything, I appreciated their attention to detail and their pleasant demeanor. Digging in trees in our hot weather cant be a whole lot of fun, but this team didnt cut corners and left my yard looking wonderful. They also saw that one of my other trees that was damaged in a storm earlier this summer needed some staking, and did that for me. They took the time to make sure that everything was perfect. Putting trees in is not inexpensive, and honestly, I had questioned whether I should have done it myself... but I can tell you, after the work was done, i was grateful that I hired S&S to handle this for me. You have a customer for life. Please be sure that Ryan and his team receive my gratitude!

Really good unloading crew

I had an incredibly poor experience. I called for a quote on some landscaping early spring. Patiently waited 6 week for them to come out. I let the individual know that we could be flexible with time and understand that they have a lot of other jobs. He told me he would get me a quote within the next few days. A week later I called to check in - nothing. I emailed - nothing. Weeks later I was finally able to get in touch with the individual who came out. He literally told me that he was busy. No apology. It has now been well over a month since the individual came to my house and I still dont even have a quote. Bottom line - I wouldnt recommend S&S to anyone. I have since found and hired another company who made me feel like they actually wanted my business.

We had them install our Sprinkler System around July 2020. Their quote was quick and quite reasonable. Installation was done right on time. They did a really good job on leveling the ground and covering the seams as well. David and team did a real good job on this. We are glad that we went with S&S Landscaping.

Jeremy was geat joy to deal with buying new John Deer tractor with snowblower! Very smooth and polite during all parts of transaction. Highly recommend them in all areas of the shop from parts, install of snowblower/cab and financing. They made it a very fun time. Upbeat team in a very tough environment with the current COVID-19 restrictions. GOOD BUNCH OF PEOPLE WITH FARGO VALUES.

Great staff and products!

We had a wonderful experience purchasing a snowblower from S&S. When we had a small issue with it, Jeremy came that day to our home and identified and fixed the problem. He even then blew off the snow in our driveway! Excellent products and customer service - I highly recommend.

Allyson and Haley are rockstars when it comes to advice and finding exactly what you need. We were there on Saturday and my wife absolutely loved the perennials and shrubs Haley suggested. We will always come back here for everything!

I highly recommend S&S Landscaping. We were doing landscaping around our home and were willing to plant the items ourselves but needed help determining what to plant and where. Allyson was AMAZING!!! We sent her pictures of our curbed edging around the house where we wanted to landscape and she sent back a plan with plant recommendations and placement. We then went to the nursery to see the selections and make adjustments. She was so friendly, knowledgable and took a lot of dedicated time with us to come up with a plan that looks great! I cannot recommend them enough and we plan to return for additional outdoor landscaping needs.

I had about 30 bushes and trees I needed to pick out (and did, from their website). Even though I got an invite to the lake, I needed to get this done. I consulted their hours (on 07-06-2019 at 11:00 AM and it said they were open). I got over there and guess what? Apparently the entire store is on vacation until July 8. I wasn t the only one, either. My list and I will now go elsewhere. You have a limited season and if vacation is more important to you, you aren t the business for me.

The people here are awesome! I have been in there 4 different times looking at snowblowers trying to decide which one to get. Every time they are always patient and more than happy to answer all my questions and explain things in detail. I am sure they are happy that I finally made a decision and purchased one. On a friends recommendation, I looked at their used walk behind blowers, ultimately picking up a 2012 Ariens pro. S&S had done all the maintenance on it and it was in excellent condition. Very fair price, friendly service, Ive used it several times, and am quite happy! They also have new machines.

She oversees everything and takes care of you before and after your purchase. S&S has a big assortment of healthy perennials, shrubs and trees and a very knowledgable and helpful staff. Prices are also great. Its the best local nursery in Fargo.

The plants were very healthy and reasonable. Great selection. They were so friendly. This was my 1st time here since I havent been in Fargo that long but will definitely be the only place I shop for plants. Oh and I forgot to mention reasonably priced. Allyson does an awesome job.

Wouldnt take $12 of dirt, so cancelled $2,000 order I had picked out.

Tried to coordinate for an estimate on a landscaping project. I took time off work to meet them, but the estimator was not there (he says he showed up and waited, but its also not in my security system logs. If he was there, a phone call to the customer would have also prevented all this). I tried calling to reschedule, and they said they would have the estimator call me back that day, but by 4:50 I hadnt gotten a call back. Since they closed at 5, I called them to see what was going on. They said I dont know what to tell you. I wanted to find out how to reschedule or what to do next, just so I knew what to expect. The guy on the phone ended the call by hanging up on me without telling me what I should do or giving me his name. I would have been happy with rescheduling, but the run around on the phone, and hanging up on a customer was terrible service. Having the estimator call the customer when they get to a location wouldve prevented all of this.

Three years ago S&S installed my irrigation system when the lawn was soaking wet due to a week of rain, leaving uneven terrain which is now difficult to mow. I informed the owner about the shoddy work, and he told me not to worry it will settle, after three years it hasnt settled. I hired S&S to winterize my system the first year, and two lines burst in the spring due to water left in the lines. They tried to make me pay for there error. Last year they did a proper job in the winterizing, so I decided to hire S&S again this season. They then sent us one invoice and it was misplaced, and when the second statement came after thirty days, we realized our error. Due to being out of town for work, the check was mailed on week five, but S&S must be short of cash because they broke a Federal Credit Law that protects consumers. Someone from S&S called and left a message with a secretary at my office that I owed $75, and needed to pay this ASAP. Calling and threatening someones employers over a $75 bill, which is less than 60 days old, should deter anyone from doing business with this company. Its unfortunate because I had hired S&S to install a system at a previous home and they did a great job. I share this with you to alert you that a company that will break a Federal Law over a bill under $100; certainly has more significant issues they must be hiding.
