I m the building manager of a religious nonprofit Baptist World Alliance and we were in need of a major leaf removal of our property and contacted Potomac Lawn for their services and we are very pleased with their work and professionalism. Our building and grounds are much improved. I have no hesitation recommending Potomac Lawns for any lawn or property maintenance services.

Update: 30 Aug 24: Potomac Lawn is still doing a great job taking care of the leaves around my house and yards. The gentlemen on the team this morning were friendly and cleaned up everything nicely. Thank you! October 2022: I hired Potomac Lawn Professionals this past Fall for leaf cleanup because I have seen their team around my neighborhood and they always seem friendly and professional. The price is on par with similar companies in the area. They came out three times between November and December. They always gave a days notice beforehand and did a better job than any company I have hired previously. My backyard is tiered, with the upper and lower tier being mulch and the middle tier being grass, so it is easy to push mulch all over the grass when blowing leaves with a gas powered blower. They did a pretty good job keeping the mulch in the garden beds instead of all over the lawn. I also had an issue with the company I hired the previous year blowing leaves into my garden fountains, which took hours to clean out afterwards. I inquired if the Potomac team could work around my fountains and scheduling staff assured me it was not a problem. I covered my fountains on the day of each leaf cleanup just to be safe and that seemed to be a winning combination. Not many leaves or leaf bits were found in my fountains. Thank you for providing a great service experience!

Satisfactory Services and Accurate Invoicing For two-three years now, Potomac Lawn Professionals has been maintaining my lawn and grounds in Arlington, Virginia. The quality of the services has at least met, sometimes exceeded, my expectations. For example, in November 2023, Potomacs crew expertly trimmed my shrubs for the winter; the grounds look great. By proactively using technology, Potomac has kept me informed about the status of my services and has accurately invoiced my services. The amounts invoiced have comported with the contracts Ive signed for each lawn-care season. I complain only that Potomac insists on mowing my lawn weekly even during especially hot periods (typically July and August) when mowing every other week would suffice. However, the Company understandably wants to keep its crews working regardless of weather, and competitors similarly follow the same practice of mowing weekly no matter what.

Potomac Lawn provided great service for our landscaping project after we remodeled our home. After the remodel, our front lawn was covered in construction debris, gravel, broken glass and weeds. The landscaping design services helped us come up with a plan that although it was not what we originally envisioned, we realized that it was the right decision afterwards. After just a couple days of work, we had a perfectly landscaped stone path, green grass and a nicely graded front yard. The staff working on our project were respectful, prompt, and industrious. Although it was a rather large price tag for the job, both my wife and I felt that the project was worth it at the end.

They saved my lawn! My lawn was in dire straights at the end of the summer and after signing up for aerating and overseeding in the fall as well as the Turf Health Care program, my lawn fully recovered! Highly recommend.

This is our first season with Potomac Lawn Professionals and Im impressed!!! We had a yard that I mangled for years. Weeds, moss, dandelions, bare spots -- you name it. David and team came up with a great, multi-step approach that they spelled out in our contract. The price was better than others I asked to bid. Once signed, they got right to work. It was a chore to rid the yard of the broadleaves and all the other junky stuff growing. But they efficiently worked at it and now were weed free. They are now working on getting the yard properly fertilized, sodded and seeded. Im excited for more seed this Spring and hopefully this summer well have a good yard. I say good as David and team said great cant happen overnight -- and dont let other companies tell you they can make great happen overnight. So Im super excited with the process to date. Hopefully Ill have a good yard this summer -- and a GREAT yard next summer. The best part is they stay on top on everything -- I dont have to do anything. They are professional in emailing when they are coming out, when payments are due and whats the next step. Their employees are nice, polite and professional. I had just brought my freshly detailed and ceramic coated car home and was inside having lunch. I came out 1 hour later to go back to work and found Potomac lawn professionals workers blowing all the neighbors yard, dirt dust and grass debri into my driveway and my property. They ruined my $650 ceramic coating. I called the company and spoke to a manager about this and he said they have no control over the pollen but in fact this had nothing to do with the pollen but just pure disrespect and ignorance of the workers

I was injured and unable to do yard work for a couple months. Reached out to several lawncare companies, Potomac was the fastest to respond with an estimate and was incredibly communicative. Price was competitive with other lawncare companies, decided to go with Potomac. Showed up every week at the scheduled time, the crew does a great job of mowing and edging, and when we had some one time adjustments (dont mow this area, can you guys re-do the edging over there, etc.) the crew was responsive and professional. Highly recommended for mowing and edging services.

We live in a highly shaded area, where growing a lawn successfully in the backyard has been a challenge. Potomac first planted the lawn 1 1/2 years ago and has been working diligently with us ever since to keep it in as good a shape as possible for a shaded space.

I moved to the area recently and sorted through several lawn care companies before finding Potomac. I hired them several months ago for weekly lawn cutting. They do an excellent job. They are consistent, no hassle, and incredibly responsive. I especially like that they have an automated system that sends an email whenever they complete service. And of course they do a great job cutting the lawn! Highly recommended without any reservations!!

Our grass was in very bad shape. Our yard was green but really more weeds than grass. Not long after Potomac Lawn got involved our lawn became the envy of the neighborhood. Thick, healthy grass, beautiful mulch beds & new plantings including a birch tree and other plants. We have moved since then and I wish we could use them where we live now, they were flawless & very professional. You cant go wrong with them.

Michael was my point of contact for the ivy removal of my home, and he provided a reasonable proposal and time frame to get the project done. Not only was the team on time, but they were able to remove the ivy from my trees and bushes, leaving the site completely clear of ivy.

Great quality job done to remove weeds, put down top soil, seed and clean up. We had to redo our front lawn and side of the house completely due to impact of weeds, tree roots, and shade. On the day of the project David also spent time providing directions to the team. Not the lowest price option but you can expect great communication and quality from the team (including the both the on-site crew and customer service team staff).

PLP performed a spring cleanup and trimming, applied pre-emergent weed preventer and edged and installed about 12 yard of mulch on all our garden beds. Their price for this work was extremely competitive and it was performed in a workmanlike manner which exceeded our expectations. Potomac Lawn Professionals recently completed a rather large clean up project at our home. David and the team plan and communicate very well, are knowledgeable about various tasks, and most importantly they perform quality work. We had a lot of ivy, plants, stumps and other overgrowth that they successfully removed and converted to a clean and clear extension of the lawn. They also corrected some water flow/drainage issues we had on one side of the house while here. The grass they planted is coming in nicely and the outcome of the project was better than we expected. We will have them back for a sidewalk project in the near term and will ask that they come back for any touch ups or work we will need going forward. Being new to the neighborhood, it was great finding a company like theirs that was not only easy to work with but that does the type of quality work they do. Thanks again.

I couldn t even recognize my backyard after PLP was done with their work. We had so many leaves, shrubbery, weeds growing in and around our plants that they were able to handle with no issues. The cleanup was superb as well, no excess leaves, grass, weeds in the backyard. Working with management was very easy, communication back and forth was seamless and they were able to get the work done 48 hours after first contact. Can t ask for better execution.

My husband and I recenlty worked with Potomac Lawn Professionals to reinvigorate our lawn. David Obeid was able to provide a plan for our lawn which gets tons of sun, but spots of shade and some serious soil erosion. PLP are the best lawn care provider in the area! I use them for my bi- weekly mowing, and they have been nothing but punctual and professional. After the garden in front of my house was destroyed from constantly being run over, I was in a bind and needed it to be re soiled prior to a family gathering at my home. The morning of the event, I contacted brad, to who my surprise, arrived at my home 15 minutes later and had the garden looking better than ever! These guys genuinely care about their clients, and anyone who needs lawn care service would be doing themselves a disservice by not using them.
