I signed on with this company a couple of years ago. Great decision. They are unfailingly professional, responsive, courteous, and great at what they do. My lawn and landscaping have never looked better.
Pauls Best has been the best lawn service company. My family has used them off and on for years for mowing and maintenance. The lawn always looks the best when they’re handling it. Had to cancel a while back due to job changes but happy to have them back this year. Easy to work with, reliable, I’d recommend them if you don’t like dealing with your outdoor lawn maintenance yourself bc they have a high attention to detail.
Paul's Best has transformed my lawn. I previously used True Green and cut my own grass. Even with a built in irrigation system and True Green service coming monthly, my lawn was full of weeds, and was brown. I found Paul's Best by driving through the neighborhood, and seeing who had the best lawn. Inevitably, it was always Paul's Best who provided service. They came out for the first time in the Spring, and did an amazing and thorough job cleaning up the leftover leaves from the Fall, mulching, and doing a general yard cleanup. The men who came to my house worked so hard. It took some time to turn my grass around from blah to amazing, but they did it. I have emailed a few times about concerns and they were immediately addressed. They were willing to come to my home and do a personal assessment to fix any problems. My grass now looks AMAZING. Every time the workers come, it is so clear they are working hard, and dedicated to their job. So impressed, and would recommend them in a heartbeat!
Great company. We have been using Paul's for 5 years. They helped us establish our new lawn in our new home. Our lawn looks super. The crews are always expert and friendly. The few times we have had issues or questions, they have come in person to our home to solve the problem. I highly recommend their service!

I recently hired Paul's Best Lawn Service to dig out and install a gravel parking area in our back yard. I can't say enough about the great service and quality of the work. They looked at the area, gave us recommendations on gravel to use, edging that would be sturdy and durable, and how best to use the terrain to our advantage. On install day, the crew was prompt, friendly, and cleaned up neatly. I couldn't be more happy with the finished product. We're now looking to hire them for our lawn mowing and maintenance service next year. Great workmanship and customer service is hard to find, and they've got it.
After seeing Paul's Trucks everywhere around Arlington, we decided to give them a try. I'm so glad that we did! The owners are seriously the nicest guys -- and they patiently answered our questions and spent so much time with us. Our last mowing company literally gave our yard weeds. Because Paul's uses a complete weed/feed system for all of their customers -- there's a level of quality that you can't get anywhere else. They are full service - doing EVERYTHING - edging, mulching, weeding, seeding, feeding, leaves, yard clean-ups, you name it. They're also meticulous about bagging and blowing. Our neighbors just used them for a massive yard clean up. The difference was amazing! Paul's Best transformed that property in a single day! Now I know why their trucks are all over the place, they're delivering curb appeal throughout Arlington. As a mom, I appreciate their dedication to using locally sourced organic fertilizer. It feels good working with a company that cares about their customers and the environment.
We have used Paul’s Best several times for various jobs, including drainage, landscape, hardscaping, and mulching. Out of all the lawn services we have tried over the years since moving to Arlington these guys are by far the BEST! Very professional, responsive, and provide very high quality work. Best of all, their crew stay with them for a long time.

Pauls Best has taken care of our yard for several years and we have been extremely happy with their service. They have been very responsive to our questions and special requests. They are true professionals.
I used Pauls to weed and mulch my garden beds, prune my bushes, and rake my leaves, for years. This year was my last year because my wife and I are divorcing and selling the house. A few days before New Years Pauls sent a crew to mulch and weed my garden beds, and prune the bushes, when in fact I did not want their services any more. I sent them a profanity-laced email accusing them of deliberately taking advantage of me in a vulnerable position, but it was just an honest mistake. Pauls thought they were simply finishing out the contract. They had sent me an email the day before notifying me of their arrival, but as my luck would have it lately the email went into my spam folder, which had never happened before. I apologized, but without asking they took about 15% off the bill, which was exceedingly gracious of them. They also do good work. They are not perfect, like once they left my gate open, but I think they are a decent bunch of guys.
Every year Im impressed by the Pauls Best team. I appreciate the effort, quality, and professionalism of the crews. Definitely recommend.
Having used Pauls Best for years, at our first home in Arlington, VA, we knew how hard theyd work to fix the mess present in the yard at our next home in Arlington. When we moved in, the grass wasnt grass....it was curb-to-curb weeds. Being we have a rather large lot, it seemed an impossible task to rid of all those weeds. Even the neighbors remarked, many have tried..... It seemed an impossible feat. But look at us now - a BEAUTIFUL LAWN, weed-free, pruned bushes, debris-free lot! We are happier than we can be for all the effort Pauls staff has made. The neighbors have all noticed. The crew is efficient, the office staff wonderful. We couldnt be happier; they know what theyre doing. Their advice is sound. Wed recommend them to anyone - anyone who wants a beautiful surround for their home!

I have used PBLS for over 5 years. My lawn is one of the greenest and thickest lawns in the neighbor hood. Other neighbors also use their service and their lawns are equally impressive due to their fertilization and maintenence. PBLS also does a great job with mulching, weeding, and cleaning the gutters.

Dont use this company unless youre prepared for bait-and-switch tactics. When I signed up for turf management, the general manager David assured me I did not have up sign up for mowing in order to utilize this service. Well, after one season, I get an email stating I either sign up for mowing or they would no longer continue the turf management portion. They basically try to strong arm customers into buying additional services, even after specifically stating you dont need to initially. So, beware of these guys and look elsewhere for your lawn needs.
We have used Pauls for many years and have always been totally satisfied with their work, timeliness, attention to detail, and adherence to their contract with us. I especially liked their willingness to work with us on scheduling the services and, when we informed them mid-contract that we were moving to another state, to work with us on closing the contract with a very appropriate resolution.

I used them for the first time last month to put down new sod. Their prep work was excellent. They removed the old grass, removed surface roots, rototilled deeply, added new top soil, fertilizer, and soil amendments. Then they laid the new sod and stapled it so it wouldnt shift Outstanding work and very detailed and professional . Highly recommend.

We are an HOA of fourteen town homes on a cul-de-sac street in Northern Virginia. We have been using Pauls for our snow removal for several years and are very pleased with their work, promptness, and customer service. The rates are very reasonable and we have contracted with them to do the additional work of clearing our driveways and sidewalks. We highly recommend Pauls for their snow removal
Ridiculous 2017 contract with huge increase. No way to treat loyal customers that have used their services for years.

I have worked with Pauls Best for the past two years. They do monthly weeding, grass cutting, and lawn treatments. The first time they missed an area that was part of my property. I called them and a manager came out and walked the property with me. No issues since then. They do great work!

I ve used Paul s Best Lawn Service for the past few years now. They aren t cheap but you get what you pay for. They mow my lawn, do lawn fertilization and treatment, regular clean-ups/weeding, and mulch once a year. My old company wasn t as responsive as Paul s. I hated wasting my time with simple requests for my yard and spending so much money for my lawn to look mediocre so I switched to Paul s Best and haven t looked back.
