This is the first year I used this company for leaf removal. I got a quote from Lou Hall which I thought was consistent with the work I knew would be done. I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff did an excellent job of removing the leaves, were very neat, extremely polite and the charge was less than I was quoted. I will definitely use them again.

Another job well done by Halls Landscaping! We have been using them for our fall and spring clean-ups for several years now and are always happy with the way our yard looks after they work their magic . Their prices are extremely reasonable and the work is superb. As usual, we had them clean-up and weed our mulch beds, haul away winter debris and lay down new mulch. Our yard looks very clean and welcoming and I barely knew that the crew was on-site. The crew is considerate, efficient and conscientious. Its always a pleasure working with Lou and his team of professionals. Looking forward to using them again in the fall (is it too early to book my appointment?)!

Lou and his crew did a terrific job for us this spring removing weeds and beautifying the garden beds with new mulch. Plus, when we needed holes filled-in that were dug by a certain pooch, they went above-and-beyond. Not only did they fill-in the holes themselves and put sod over that specific spot, but they gave us new grass for the entire area. This ensured that the new grass would truly take & gave us a beautiful backyard once again!

Ive used Halls in the past for leaf removal and mulching - but most recently asked them to remove a large area of English ivy and weeds and take up a large section of my back lawn. As always, I was extremely pleased with the work. The guys came sooner that expected (and on a weekend). They did a great job getting rid of all of the ivy, weeds and grass I wanted eliminated. The tilled the ground and laid mulch. They even did some extra cleanup - clearing weeds from an adjacent section of landscaped area. My yard looks great! Will definitely call on them again for future work.

Lou and his team at Halls Landscaping are first class! For several years, Ive used Halls for fall leaf removal, as well as spring pruning of shrubs in my yard. His team is versatile, meticulous, thorough and leaves zero traces of yard debris behind. Halls recently pruned three large holly trees in my front yard and honestly they have never looked this good! No need to sign a yearly contract with another yard service company, simply let Lou know your specific needs and he will put you into the schedule!

We have used this company for 3 years straight and will continue to use them each spring. They do a great job of cleaning out our beds - old leaves and weeds, digging out a new delineation between the grass and flower beds and spreading mulch. The crews pay attention to the details and are sure to carefully tread around newly sprouting perennials and spring bulbs. I cant say enough about their attention to detail - and yes, they actually know the difference between a weed and and perennial showing its freshly-sprouting heads - something I cant say about most gardeners. Im a serious gardener, and they lay 5+ yards of mulch for me every year - worth every penny!

Two years ago, Halls turned my back area from a disaster zone into a beautiful lawn, manicured flower beds, a drainage area with river rock stones, and a small rock wall around a tree that is a focal point. Ive previously worked with another landscaping company in the area, and had relatively average expectations for the results of this project. After working with Lou and his incredible team, however, I can honestly say I wont work with any other company in the future. Our experience with Halls Landscaping was fantastic! The team that came out to fix up our yard worked so hard and with such care. I definitely felt like they treated it as they would their own property. They went above and beyond our expectations. Our yard was long-neglected, and we requested they plant several things, clear out wretchedly over-grown garden beds, and fix the pathetic lawn. They did all that beautifully, and they also offered to replant some shrubs in new locations since we had asked they be removed from the garden beds. I was a little worried about the quote experience not being done in person. But I realized that Halls is much more reasonably priced because of this system. And Lou worked really well with us to understand everything we wanted done with our yard. On the day, the team did absolutely everything we had wanted, plus more. We will definitely be going back to Halls for all our landscaping needs!

These guys were just great. I discussed my plans with Lou, who gave me a lot of helpful advice and then arranged purchase and delivery of the shrubs and trees I wanted. Planting day, Rob and his team arrived early and spent a full day in the yard. They were courteous and professional and Im incredibly happy with the results. Very reasonable pricing too.

I cant recall how I found out about Halls Landscaping but Im sure glad I did. After years of shopping around and getting only mediocre service at best, I hired Lou and his guys a few years ago and Ill never look back. They are my guys from now on, real pros who take pride in their work. I watched them from my kitchen window as they worked on my front lawn and was very impressed with the care they took to get everything right. They do beautiful work. And the bill was less than I expected. How many time can you say that about any contractor? Hire these guys, you will not be sorry.

I filled out the online form to schedule an at-home consultation for sod installation and landscaping, and one of their guys called me two days later saying that he would be here the next day between 12:30pm-1:30pm. At 1:30pm I had to call him to ask him if he was still planning on stopping by and it sounded like he forgot and said hed be here in 15. 45 minutes later he still was not here, so my husband called him to cancel, and when the guy answered the phone he said, If this is the lady, Im around the corner, in a rude tone. I understand this is a critical time were living in due to COVID-19, but it is also a time when people are staying home with plans for house projects to stay busy. All I expect as a customer, is if youre going to be late, just pick up the phone and call. And if you forgot, just be honest. This is a competitive world we live in, and unfortunately for Halls Landscaping, my business will be taken elsewhere.

His friendly expertise, frank advice, and fair price are refreshing. He returns all emails/calls/texts and has a polite, hardworking crew. Lou and his company are fantastic. I will not work with anyone else for landscaping needs and am grateful we found him. UPDATE: Its been about a year since Halls Landscaping worked on our house. As the plants have grown, we felt some of the plants were too close together so called Halls Landscaping and asked if they would mind moving them. Halls Landscaping, immediately said of course. Halls has trimmed a very large holly shrub for me on more than one occasion. They do an excellent job, leaving the shrub looking beautiful. They have the best price and clean up so completely afterwards that its hard to know they were even there.

We reached out to Lou and his crew over email about cleaning up the flower beds around our house and generally beautifying what little outdoor property we own. Lou was prompt and professional in responding to our inquiries. More amazingly, he was able to use photos we took of our flower beds to prepare a fair invoice including his recommendations for what could be planted. We were amazed when they showed up ahead of schedule and took care of all the work with quality and speed. We hired Hall s landscaping to help pull out a huge area of English ivy in our backyard. We had tried doing it ourselves but after a nasty bout of poison ivy for me and a few other set backs, our yard has become overgrown and completely over taken with the ivy. Enter Lou s crew: they spent the entire day on their hands and knees meticulously pulling out every bit of the ivy, clearing out weeds and setting the stage for what will become grass in the spring. I was completely blown away by their attention to detail (English ivy is no joke!) and couldn t wait to schedule them to come again to clear more of our yard. I ve spent the last two years hating my yard because of the ivy and even though we don t have grass in (yet!) the yard already looks 10x better. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and look forward to working with them again.

This isnt a review of the landscaping/work this company does. I requested a landscaping quote, we scheduled a date and time for them to come by and provide an estimate. 15 minutes after the scheduled date/time I get a text that the estimator had a family emergency. Thats fine...things happen. Text them back my availability....no reply. Instead they just show up the next day. Of course nobody is home but I catch their phone call and explain the scope of work we would like completed. Im told Ill get a quote that evening....crickets. I request the quote again the next day, Im told Ill have it, and again....crickets. Awful communication and follow up....too bad I was really interested in working with this company based on the positive reviews.

They were so great. Jorge s team kept me informed as they did their work. Making sure they were doing everything I needed. My garden looks absolutely gorgeous! They returned my email right away and set a day to come give the estimate. I thought the estimate for what I wanted to have done was very reasonable. Less than a week later and my garden is done. And they cleaned up everything and hauled it away. I will definitely use them for my next garden cleanup

Our bushes were cleaned expertly, the new plants that were added look beautiful and the lawn was cleaned and prepped extremely well to help grow better grass this coming spring. All changes that were made looked as though they belonged perfectly. They were on time, professional, easy to work with, and produced amazing work! Ive used Halls for a few years now and this is why I keep going back: they perform excellent work, Lou is highly responsive over email--which I prefer--and the rate is always reasonable compared to other landscapers in the area. We actually just used them to clear our leaves and I m super happy. They cleaned out all of the nooks and crannies in our medium sized yard in just a few hours. We will use them again.

Would give them 6-stars if I could. Amazing work and extremely easy to get in touch with. I went with their Summer Triage (should be called Tree-age) option because the hedges around my house had gotten out of hand. I did not think it was possible to trim them down as much as they did. Very pleased with the work. Three other landscapers had either not shown up or declined the opportunity. Halls got back to me within a day and I was on their schedule within a week.

These guys tackled a massive overgrowth of ivy in our yard and in a matter or a day and a half made it look spectacular. I wouldn t let my son go in the backyard for fear I d lose him in there, but the team at Hall s has made it a whole new backyard completely transformed and usable. They were hardworking, professional and kind, which I can t be more appreciative of. I highly recommend these guys for the awesome work they did for us!
