DC Lawn and Landscape has been our lawn and landscape maintenance ever since we purchased our home in Fairhope. Lance provides great care, and we appreciate any business that joins us in caring for our home. Highly recommend DC Lawn and landscape.

Lance Elmore is absolutely wonderful. He does an amazing job and is always such a pleasure to be around.

DC Lawn was one of three companies we approached about getting our landscape redesigned. Although they were the last company to visit us, they were the first to get back to us with a full design and quote. Clayton did a wonderful job with the design and installation from start to finish, and Jacob was attentive to the small details even on the last day as he made sure nothing was left behind. We are looking forward to having DC Lawn continue to maintain the landscape they designed for us, and we would recommend them to others.

Best experience here in lower AL that we have had in a long time w/ contracted work!!! DC Lawn & Landscape was 1 of 3 estimates we got before going forward with our backyard landscaping. A prompt appt was made come to the property to assess, and listen & discuss our concerns & wishes. Within a few days we received a draft that left nothing to our imaginations & met all of our needs. The company was great to communicate with, knowledgable, calm, and tended to all of our questions. Operation day was a day sooner than scheduled and went like clockwork...very organized, thorough, overseen well, clean and complete. Walk through wasnt rushed and all questions answered. Well, I am going to try and be objective with this review but of course all reviews have some subjectivity to it. I have waited a month since to write this to make sure I do not overreact. So we hired DC on their full service plan. We were paying approx 400/month to get all of their services. In addition we paid about 1k in order for them to fix our sprinkler system. The money is not the issue. We live in a house on a bluff which does present a more complicated scenario for yard maintenance. The rep completed an on-site visit so they were fully aware of the type of yard. The problems in the beginning were simple. Different crews every time and they always kept forgetting to go down and take care of the lower bluff area. Then they would miss a week. When we called the secretary(not our rep) would say that the guys told her they had cut the yard. But since I work from an office that overlooks the front of the house I know they did not show up as they stated and of course the yard looked terrible. The issues with showing up and making false statements about having showed up continued. One day my wife went out to talk with the guys cutting our yard after they had spent 17 minutes and were packing up. Our yard is way too big for 17 minutes. They once again did not go down to the bluff as they originally were contracted to do. Once again a different crew who did not know the yard. After my wife explained to them they did manage to make their way down to the bluff. Now the next day they called us and said that my wife cussed out their crew. I find this amusing because that is definitely not her personality although it could be mine. So they actually fired us. I have never been fired by a yard service but it was quite amusing. The truth is they do not want complicated jobs. They are classic blow and go. The rep assigned to us never took our side but always the side of the crew. Not great customer service. In the end I am glad they fired us as customers. We moved to Sextant and have nothing but the opposite experience. I would say if you have a rectangular yard that is easy to cut they will do fine. They will blow and go like all the others. But if you have a yard that is complex in any way then I suggest looking elsewhere.

Sounds good. It looks so beautiful now, I can imagine as it grows and takes shape. Your whole organization is first class from you and your design to Diego and his crew. They were all hard workers even during all this heat. Diego was kind, personal, knowledgeable, patient with me and my questions, courteous, seemed to have taken control, always smiling. As I said he kept pushing forward. He also made sure the rows were straight which is essential to forming a hedge. The man who came Wednesday by himself impressed me with his ability to work by himself. He kept the pine straw in the beds and out of my neighbors yards, he shaped the bed around my house returning it to the best looking it has been since you first installed it. I had let it get out of control taking care of my mother and my deminishing age and health. I was also amazed with his ability to clean up the yard before leaving making it look better than before they showed up. I have already began hearing compliments from my neighborhood members and people passing by on the street. Most importantly, I appreciate your willingness to take the job. I understand that you do not normally take work in Bay Minette anymore but were willing to make an exception for me. Also you designed the plan as if it were your own yard. Finally, I appreciate your taking the time to listening to my questions and explaining to me the reasoning for decisions. I am fortunate t ppl call you MY FRIEND. I really gave them a chance. I met with them 2 separate occasions on site and reviewed what they would and wouldnt treat. They treated stuff we asked them not to on a few occasions and then wouldnt talk. I left more than 6 message for Daniel King, the owner, and he would not talk to me. It was a simple request to exclude certain areas and they couldnt keep track of it....its cookie cutter type treatments. Same for every yard and plant.

Yesterday, the crew from DC Lawn and Landscape, led by Jake installed sod at our home in Point Clear. I was extremely impressed with Jakes level of customer service and his dedication to making sure that I was satisfied. I will be using them for future projects. Well done Jake and team!

They are very knowledgeable they redid our irrigation systems. I had them come out because the sprinklers needed adjusting over spraying. They send two guys one was in training and did not do anything.I had someone here to help him and still got charged $250 an hour for labor total price for Labor $500

My grass is greener and the bugs are not meaner Thanks to my personal gardner CHASE I had a big project. Irrigation, trees, and a paver patio build, and edging (not to mention help with my lawn, which suffered from a lack of water) The team of Diego and Hector did excellent work. I was very happy with how things turned out. Now it s up to DC lawn to continue to monitor things- there are parts of the lawn that need to regrow, and may need seeding. We are retired and in our 70 s so we cannot do it by ourselves . I will know by the end of summer if DC is up to the task.

The latest happened this week... a 40-foot rock and paver border on a steep slope alongside my home. High praise and gratitude go to the hard-working team: Aaron, team lead Zach and Omar, teammates. They worked from morning to late afternoon without stopping. Every time I stepped out to see progress, they paused to ask me how I liked what was happening. If I made a request, they cheerfully gave it a try. I also appreciate co-owner, Clayton. Hes always so eager to exchange ideas with and suggest solutions. Ive always had a good experience with DC Lawn and have other projects in mind for them to tackle. FIRST REVIEW - PROJECT NR 1: I have a new-construction home where the sod was poorly-laid by the contractor. D&C owner, Daniel, came out and recommended drainage solutions and advice. I also asked them to install a large paver patio. Clayton s team arrived a few weeks later and were perfectly-professional. It s been a few months since the work was done; below-ground drainage pipes in my steeply-sloped back yard, a beautiful patio that does not have low areas. Clayton also made some additional fixes that I had not originally thought to ask for. Wonderful company, well-priced, trustworthy and experts. Very happy with D&C and Clayton s A-Team! SECOND REVIEW - PROJECT NR 2 (July 11, 2023): Here s another thank you to D&C Lawn and Landscape. Half of my lawn died after last winter s freeze and I haven t been able to resurrect it. D&C has helped me before with expert work that lasts. Last week, Jeremy, Caleb and Clayton arrived with two pallets of new sod. Despite it being one of the hottest days of the summer, they worked all day non-stop, morning to late afternoon. The prep work they did was thorough and the new-laid sod is thriving. D&C s sod is excellent; weed-free, healthy and sturdy. They also checked my irrigation and performed a few extra details that I hadn t thought to ask for. There s no way I could have accomplished what they did for me really GOOD work. I have a few other lawn projects in mind and will call on them again. Thanks to Jeremy, Caleb and Clayton! Today s review Fri, Apr 26, 11 a.m. Chase came today to apply chemicals. I am usually not home during the seasonal visits. He knocked on the door to tell me he was checking my irrigation panel. That s a really nice and, much-appreciated extra that D&C does. Always more helpful than any other company. Chase also answered some questions about improving my lawn. Wow! A short time after the review posting today I got a call from DC Lawn. We discussed potential schedules ..I got my answer. Unbelievable . I received a quote from DC Lawn and subsequently called to try and get an idea of when the work could be done. I was told that I had to sign the quote and PAY 50% DOWN in order to discuss any scheduling. I explained that we travel a lot (sometimes outside the USA) and I just wanted to get an estimated timeline so I could get an idea of the timing. If I am out of town, I would fly back if in the states because I want to be at home while the work is being done. Plus, I could let them know that I would prefer to have the work done at another time if we were outside the USA. I would not hold them to any date given over the phone. I only wanted to understand their schedule and let them know if their dates would work for me. I was told that I had to sign the contract and PAY 50% of the contract in order to have any scheduling discussions. I asked again if I could talk with someone about scheduling this job. I was told to leave my number and the scheduler would return the call. I waited several days with no return call so I called again. I was told the same thing. I told the staff at DC that I would not hold them to any potential schedule fully knowing that a timeline has to work for BOTH parties. I was again told this was their policy and no deviations. I asked if this was their final answer and was told yes.... Sooo, I ASK WHO WOULD SIGN A CONTRACT, PAY 50% DOWN WITHOUT HAVING A DISCUSSION ABOUT WHEN THE WORK COULD BE PREFORMED? Would you do business with a mechanic or contractor but have to sign a contract, pay 50% down to discuss potential timelines about when the work could be done? Scheduling work dates goes both ways....what works best for both parties.....not just the business. I am astonished....... We recently had a home run experience with DC Landscaping. Our courtyard was a total mess. So we decided to completely redo it. We interviewed several potential companies and DC was our choice. Our decision was based on their professional, knowledgeable and friendly business attitude. They viewed our mess, offered suggestions on their plan and provide a schematic for us to review. After a few revisions, we decided to pull the plug. My wife are recently retired after 30+ years of business management experience. We both have had Murphy Situations occur during our work tenure. Heck, Murphy will show up when you least expect it no matter how hard one develops a plan. However, it s what you do after Murphy pops up to resolve the problem and keep your commitments to the customer. Well, Murphy invited himself to our party. Go figure ! When this minor issue occurred on our project Daniel, the owner of DC met with us and gave us his personal commitment to resolve situation. From that point going forward DC took ownership to make things right. And the project proceeded without another bump in the road. His crew were determined to keep their commitment to us. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and determined to do this job to our satisfaction. The back office staff also were very responsive and professional when we contacted them. This privately owned business is a very proud and honest business. They keep their promises to customers. What a novel idea The pics below show the before and after courtyard mess. We have more non landscaping items on our list before this project is complete. So, overlook the pergola. Bottom line. If you are looking for a great landscaping company, go with DC! You will not be disappointed .

My previous lawn care was great but no longer available..I cant tell you how happy I am with DC lawn! The management steps to the plate!! And my lawn aint easy. Ill also admit Im really picky! If detail matters to you..ya really want this team!

They came and destroyed 2 protected species of tree without permits and destroyed the area leaving ruts in my lawn and then left the mess for me to clean up. If you re looking for an unprofessional and pathetic service I guess call them.

DC Lawn did a great job resodding my front lawn with zyosia grass. Diego and his crew crushed it installing the sod, adjusting our sprinklers, and cleaning up afterwards. Besides the new sod you couldn t tell they had removed old grass and dirt. Very satisfied

Zone 1 of my sprinkler system wasnt working after C Spire installed fiber, I called DC Lawn Tuesday morning, Susan had Nick at my home a few hours later. Nick found the cut wire, repaired a sprinkler head that was also broken with the fiber install, and checked and adjusted my sprinkler system. Thanks Nick, Susan and Daniel! DC Lawn has done several jobs for us at home and my wife uses them for her work. Good folks!

This company quoted us a price. Charged double. Sent a manager out to tell us they had miss quoted but would let us know the new price. We told them we let our current service go because they quoted us a better price. They said they had nit seen the yard. We said yes your guy came out to see us. They said if there was a problem they would let us know. We never heard a word. Then they drafted our account for double the monthly price. When we called they said the monthly was per service We said no and read them what we signed. They said it took over the allotted time. We said no we have cameras and you actually did less than you quoted . They called and said they would just cancel out service. We said if you don t give our money back ot dont honor your contract we will send to our attorney. Then we got an email from Daniel that he sent our threats to his attorney and our service was canceled. Obviously this man runs a rip off service of getting clients by low quotes then does mot honor his word. Be careful dealing with this company. He flipped his lies snd bad performance to we were threatening him. It was not a threat. Its a promise. We will recover our loss of money and poor service. I ll post later on the outcome!

We have had a 2 month plus project for our home, involving major landscaping and building a new outdoor kitchen. Daniel was amazing in giving us guidance in making plans and upgrades. His work crews were the most hard working group I ve seen. Their work ethic and desire to complete the project to exceed our expectations was very comforting throughout the time they were at our home. Daniel s main 2 foremans, Bobby Fuast and Jake Caughell, were always attentive to our wishes and maintained an open dialogue throughout the project. We plan to have several other projects done by these professionals to enhance the beauty and functionality of our property.

Chase provides great customer service when he comes to treat my lawn. He explains what he is applying for each treatment, gives watering/mowing tips, takes pictures of areas that need improvement, and takes time to answer questions. Overall, Chase does a great job!

I have been very happy with the overall services provided by DC Lawn and Landscaping for the past 3 that I have used them. They are very attentive, each time I use them on special projects, and for the regular lawn and landscaping maintenance they do for me. Most recently, Jake and his assistant did an excellent job, explaining the work they needed to do, working efficiently, and leaving everything as it was originally, when they left. It was for a nagging issue with my landscape lighting, and his plan was to replace specific sections of the wiring underground to ensure solid connectivity, and it has worked without issue ever since. We recently used DC to landscape our backyard after having a pool installed. Daniel came out and drew up an amazing oasis for us. The project was started and completed on time even with weather challenges. Throughout the process Jacob was amazing. My car blew a radiator hose in front of there business. Pulled Off the road of course, not in there drive way. Luckily auto-zone/wallmart was about 2 miles away. So I went walking. Was gone 45 mins making good time. 1/2 of a mile from my vehicle on my way back. I get a call from fairhope police. Saying the landscape business wants your car towed. Your on there grass. So i say. I appreciate the help. Ill remember this. And I hope everyone in fairhope and surrounding area know what kind of good people run that place. Also I dont see anything In there pic you cant get from every other landscape company in town. Lull. It must be a hazard to be on there sod. I was 5ft off the highway. Was gone less than 1 hour. Searched by the police. I like the response. I would have took anything other than it represented a safety issue. Like my bad bro anything but a lie

I cannot say enough wonderful things about D& C Landscape. I had 4 quotes given to me by 4 different landscaping companies in the baldwin county area and D&C was the best quote and they were the nicest also! Clayton came out and gave the estimate; he was so nice and personable! We booked the job and Jacob came out the same week and finished the job in a day! JACOB did an amazing job!! He was such a hard worker, nice guy, and he even cleaned up after everything he did! which you can never find all those things in one company but you can in D & C landscape. My yard looks absolutely perfect! And I am so happy I chose D& C!!!

I highly recommend DC Lawn and Landscape for their total landscaping services. I had them landscape our front yard and I couldnt be more pleased with the result. Their foreman Jake and his team were professional, quick, and courteous. They cleaned up after work each day. Daniel the owner worked with us to design exactly what we wanted and adjusted as the project unfolded. Additionally, we also hired DC Lawn and Landscape to demo and replace the parking pad with brick pavers on Savannah Square in Rock Creek. Forman Clayton deftly managed his expert crew to remove the cracked and discolored brick from the old pad. They also had to break and remove the uneven concrete pad below the bricks. Demo took one day and replacing the pavers another day. The job was expertly completed, the site cleaned up and all debris was hauled off. We are completely satisfied with the results and the pricing was reasonable. We are very happy with our new front yard.

The crew worked hard to please us with very minimal disruption to our neighborhood roads (which is a huge plus for the folks living around us). **Review of the second job done by DC Lawn** It s been a little over a year since we had them do concrete work around our house. Overall it s a failure. We have several cracks, dips that hold water, and a few very unsightly surface pits.

Jake and his crew did a great job installing our new landscaping. They were done in 1-1/2 days and cleaned up like they were never here.

DCs worked really hard for three days to remove old flower beds, replace or re-condition old beds, lay sod, and replace old railroad ties. Jake was the lead on the project and led his team very well, keeping them on track. Although there was some miscommunication between DCs office (wrong start date) and work order specifics, we were able to communicate easily with Jake to meet our expectations for work to be done. His work ethic and leadership on his team made him invaluable to our project. James, our lawn care manager, also made sure the completed work met our expectations and he spent considerable time working with me to develop a quote with my flower choices.

Could not be more pleased with DC lawn and landscaping- they are amazing! The owner came over to our house and spent over an hour with us helping us design our backyard layout. He provided us with a CAD drawing of what it would look like and even provided contact info for financing. When it came time to complete the work, DC was on time and got to work so quickly- I was so impressed with their ability to execute and even figure out how to haul a bunch of stone into our backyard by taking out a piece of the fence. These guys are extremely professional and thorough. We had them do a hard scape (patio and fire pit), lay new grass, plant trees and install an irrigation system- they allowed us to make small tweaks as they worked and truly wanted us to have everything we desired. They also came back and fixed our irrigation system after someone had rolled over it in the driveway with a car- free of charge. We are so happy and so grateful- we now sit in our backyard everyday and absolutely love it. Cannot say enough good things about this company!!

We have had great experience with DC landscaping. Daniel arrived and we discussed our plan and he gave us ideas to reduce the cost. He sent a CAD of the proposed idea in a few days that made it easy for both of us to understand. When the install team arrived Clayton walked the property and made sure we both understood what the team was going to do and reviewed the plan with us. Claytons team (Atlantis, Diego and David) were all friendly, clean, and very professional. They work extremely hard (especially in the Hot temperatures) to make a great looking patio and breezeway. Jake from DC Lawn stopped by today to get my 10 year old system up and going again after the previous owner disabled it about 5-years ago due to it needing a few minor repairs. They quickly identified the issues and replaced a couple of cracked values and rotors and got my system back up and running. Their pricing on parts and labor is fair and they respect your time when they are on the clock and dont seem to markup parts like some companies do. I will definately reach out to them again if I run into any future irrigation needs. They charge an honest and fair price on parts and labor, and I would recommend them.

We are supposed to get bed weeding services along with lawncare. We have called several times asking why weeding isn t happening with no correction. Upon contacting them this afternoon they told us that they would let us out of our contract and had no interest in coming to view the overgrown weeds in our beds. I specifically asked the manager if he d like to come see what I m talking about and he said he didn t want to and we could just cancel. I will be cancelling our weed / fertilization with their sister company as well. I would highly advise avoiding this non attentive and unprofessional company who just wants your money while their employees smoke in front of your house.

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. They were very professional and friendly. They gave us exactly what we wanted and helped us fix problems along the way. They also were very flexible. They were on time and communicate extremely well with us on the project. They left the site all cleaned up and looking wonderful. Big shout out to David, Collin, and Atlantis, thank you so much!! You guys were awesome. It was a fantastic experience! I will be calling them for future projects.

Chase has been doing a very thorough job on the lawn. He takes extra time to tidy up after the cut by making sure all the small twigs are removed and all sidewalks and porches are fully blown clean. Highly recommend.

She is one of the best lawn care person we have had with DC Lawn She is aprofessional, knowledgeable, on time, hard working and pays attention to details. She is conscientious about her work and making sure our lawn, scrubs, edging and all aspects of lawn maintenance are done correct and looks good and complete. Even if it rains and she cannot complete the day she is assigned, she makes sure she is here first thing the next morning to complete the job and walk the job checking to see everything is done in a professional manner. I have only recently begun to use DC Lawn, but already I know it was the right decision to switch to them. The price was a little higher than what I had been paying, but I switched because DC Lawn provided more services, especially bed servicing where they pull and spray weeds and they trim my shrubs, all as part of the package, making it well worth making the switch. What I wasn t expecting was my technician, Neno. She alone makes it worth switching and makes any price difference beyond worth it. To say she cares and goes above and beyond is an understatement. Super friendly, professional and attention to detail are her stock in trade and my lawn and beds are already looking better and better since I changed because of her! Neno is a superstar!! Altogether, the value I get from DC Lawn is far greater than anything else out there!

We had them do some landscape work on our home. Flagstones they put in we re very thin and there crew admitted to us they were too thin for a walk path. Of course they cracked very shortly after the installation. We made them aware of this right away. Here is there response James - Kim said we messed up her flagstone Daniel - How ? James - Its broken in some spots. Daniel - How was it installed ? James - On the ground naturally . Daniel - Natural earth stones without a solid backing will crack , there is no way to guarantee natural earth stones and if we ask our supplier he will laugh at us. James - They were supposed to be in a bed of concrete. Now they never told us anything to be concerned about or warned us. They then said the ground was wet from a leak. No not a leak rain which you addressed by putting in a drainage pipe Now the sprinklers the worked on leak and they again take no responsibility. I caution you to make sure you get everything in writing and caution you against this company. Ask lots of questions and make sure they right down any verbal commitment they make. The guys is very combative and could care less about facts. Hire at your own risk. This project was about $12k. Shakedown LMAO. I did not copy what you said because it makes no sense. I actually tried to save you your context is all wrong. You talk about pavers then you talk a bed of concrete. Not even sure what that is. We asked for pavers no one said they would crack or had the potential of cracking. You put small amounts of concrete in the holes where the pavers would go. Never offered any alternative. What does the concrete even mean? You knew exactly what we wanted. You never said anything to the contrary. If there is a shakedown it s you shaking down homeowner. We paid you then to repair sprinklers that another company did a terrible job installing. We had you correct some things. Although the install was not great it did NOT leak. Now it leaks. So no leaks before you worked on it, but leaks now. We told you about the leak in July shorty after you completed the work and failed to come back out until Sept I think we were pretty patient not expecting you to play us like this.

DC Lawn and Landscape transformed our mediocre backyard patio to beautiful entertainment area with a covered pergola and fire pit area. Jeremy did an amazing job constructing the pergola and we love it! The rest of the crew, to include Ray who also assisted with the pergola, did an excellent job on the patio, walkway and fire pit. They were very responsive, professional, and polite. We enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to use them for our lawn maintenance and have been pleased thus far. Will use them again in the future for any additional projects! Thank you Daniel for ensuring we received exactly what we wanted!!

After several frustrating efforts, using several different companies/contractors, to improve our irrigation system on our large property, DC Lawn was recommended to us as the best. They just completed the job and we now believe it. Their lead irrigation supervisor, Jake Caughell, did a great job and is a true expert. My father had a saying... buy cheap and buy twice. DC is not inexpensive, but they get it done right the first time, so it saves in the long run. Highly recommended!

We recently had DC Landscaping for us and Jake was in charge of the work. Things went very smoothly and we now have a beautiful backyard. Jake was very professional, courteous, cleaned up after he finished, told us what we needed to do to ensure the new plants and grass heal in properly We plan to do work to the front yard later this year and certainly hope that Jake will be in charge of that work also.

UPDATE: DC made good on its service after the sale commitment. They returned, replaced the dying plants with healthy, gorgeous camilias and went the extra mile by adding more pine mulch. Landscape design is beautiful. Not impressed with service after the sale. Two plants have died; called DC- they came out and concurred; yet nearly three weeks later have not heard/received feedback about resolution or replacement. Not thrilled or impressed

DC planted bushes and flowers in my beds. They plants look beautiful and I get many compliments on them. They were polite, responsive to my requests, and worked hard to bring my vision for the yard to life. Have used them three years now - they come every spring to freshen up the beds. Would recommend 100 percent.

I have had a very positive experience with DC Lawn. They repaired a major sprinkler problem. Their response time was great. I contacted them in the evening and they were at my home the next morning. The technicians were polite and very helpful. They explained the problem and it was corrected to my satisfaction. I will continue to work with them in the future as they are installing a new patio. Clayton listened to my ideas and offered some as well. He was/is very helpful.

DC Lawn has done some excellent landscaping for us in the past. We recently asked for a quote for a very amount of work and it came in 2/3 less than we expected. Recommend highly.

DC Lawn & Landscape installed sprinklers in my front and backyard. On the first day, the guy came to tell me they located my fiber optic line and were about to get started. About an hour later, my internet went out. I went outside and he had cut the line with his machine. He said he got distracted. I was without internet for a week because AT&T couldn t get someone to my house right away. After they were finished, Aaron told me they included a smart controller for free because they cut my internet line, but the smart controller was part of my estimate in the first place. At least one of my sprinkler heads was installed too close to the fence, and sometimes it doesn t fully pop out, or it doesn t go back into the ground. I ve called their office several times and they said they d have someone call me back but they never did. I called again and they told me they don t service my area.

Two weeks ago while their lawn care specialist was working in my neighbors yard, he began cutting my yard and was asked to stay out of our yard after running over and almost breaking something in our yard. Also, because I dont want our neighbors to have any part of maintaining our yard as this can lead to adverse possession rights. I explained where the marked property line was and he said no problem. This week the same person came back. After speaking with the homeowner he began blowing all of the hedge trimmings, glass clippings and leaves towards our yard. A lot of which blew several feet into our yard. I stepped out on to our porch and was met with an incredibly unprofessional hostile tone. He asked, is there a problem? He was combative before I even spoke. I told him to remove it from our yard. Then he proceeds to argue that hes not blowing it in our yard. Eventually telling me that I told him to stay out of our yard. I told him again to get it out now. Once I went back inside he continued to blow debris into our yard for several minutes. He even went as far as bringing his lawn mower back from across the street by his trailer and blew it off into the yard as well. He failed to realize he was on surveillance. While the business has taken responsibility for his actions, admitted their wrongdoing and eventually came back out and cleaned up their mess after I followed up with them. They have refused on multiple occasions to explain why their employee acted in such an unprofessional manner with such a hostile tone. The conversation the week before was polite and he seemed understanding of the situation. They also refused to provide me with office policy when it comes to their client confidentiality policy, their employee policy on illegal dumping and their customer service policy. I am just supposed to take their word that such policies are in place because they say so. When I asked for a copy of said policy here was their response, We are a private company , by definition we will not send any interoffice policies and procedures to anyone except our current employees. I will start forwarding your threatening comments to my lawyers for their review. Thanks I dont know how asking for a copy of a stated policy is threatening but I guess I can add that to the list of things I am left questioning.

Very impressed!!! We had 5-6 quotes and different ideas and they provided the best presentation and quality for the price!! We had a huge slope with drainage issues, so they placed a large French drain system and stone block retaining wall. I had some residual drainage problems & they came out and fixed it without question at no charge.

I can t say enough about DC Landscaping. I had other contractors come out to remedy a drainage issue I had. Thousands of dollars later, their solution failed. DC was suggested by a mutual friend and I gave them a call. I am so glad I did. While they aren t the cheapest guys in town , they were, by far, the best and most reliable. Sometimes you get what you pay for and I wish I d paid for these guys from the beginning. They provided a schematic showing their proposed solution, explained it in detail, came when they said they would, and even finished the job ahead of schedule. These guys worked 7 days a week, on weekends, and even in the rain! (Unless there was thunder and lightning) They went the extra mile and Clayton even installed a lantern that wasn t included in the original quote. It s 18 months later and their work is still beautiful and has kept my drainage issues at bay. I do NOT review people or services but, in this case, DC Landscaping deserves accolades. Do yourself a favor and call them first!

They did a complete overhaul of our whole yard front and back. This includes sprinklers front and back, outdoor lighting around the backyard, sod front and back, gravel on one side of the house, bushes, straw beds, a privacy hedge, and a tree in the front yard. Before they did sod, they graded the yard. It was a horrible mud hole until they came. Our yard has a bad erosion problem from the slope of our yard. I asked them to fill in the low spots with some dirt before they laid sod so the yard would be more level and the water wouldn t pool. The nice man in charge agreed. When they were done, the yard looked amazing. Truly beautiful. However, after a few weeks, it was apparent that they had not filled in the low spots before they laid sod. A few spots were constant puddles, and the sod in those spots was getting torn up because it wasn t taking to the mud. We contacted DC, and they replied straight away that they would fix the problem. They came out, picked up the sod, filled in the low spots with dirt, and then covered them back up with fresh sod. He even offered to replace the bushes in our backyard because our dogs have killed them with urine. I declined because it wasn t their fault. We ve had no problems ever since. One of our sprinklers has had problems a few times, and so have our backyard lights. Each time, they have shown up promptly to fix the problem with no hassle. The one thing I would ask is that they start calling ahead or knocking on people s front doors before they randomly show back up in people s backyards for a service call. My wife and I were naked in our living room one day and got quite the shock when we looked out the window to see some strange men in DC Lawn shirts. They ve surprised us multiple times actually. Ringing the doorbell seems reasonable.

I had a lot of work done sprinkler install, dirt hauled in to backfill where my yard had washed a culvert put in my ditch and everything sodded. Overall the work was pretty good lots of details were not completed well. There were a few things that were not done the way I asked. So 3 stars. Alright work not outstanding.

We worked with DC Lawn & Landscaping this past Winter on giving our backyard a facelift. Their designers worked with us, took the time to listen to the type of plants, color and feel we were looking for in a garden. They redesigned and enlarged the overall shape of our beds and lawn and designed and installed a beautiful flagstone walkway through our new Arbor. The quality of both the plants they used and the stone they picked for our walkway are evident. We have received a host of compliments from friends and neighbors as the garden continues to grow and come into it s own. The plants are lush and healthy and there is always something new blooming. After 3 seasons of watching the garden grow, we are more than pleased with the outcome. We would recommend DC Lawn & Landscape.

Have really delivered for us. Did our concrete walkways from front to back, our patio and our screened in porch floor! They still do our landscaping. Glad we found them!

They managed to come and do their work in spite of obstacles in their way. The recent heavy rains I know threw their schedule completely apart but they still managed to get here every week. Once it had to be on Saturday. After hurricane Sally I had DC Lawn completely repair my lawn front and back including tree stump removal and a sprinkler system, sod and garden plants installed. Im happy with the result. Im relying on them to keep it looking pretty and so far theyre doing a good job.

Cant say enough good things about this business. They designed and installed my backyard landscape as promised. I had a few plants that didnt make it but Claytons crew came out several times to try and revive the struggling plants but in the end, they replaced everything that needed replacement. They went above and beyond my expectations on multiple occasions and I would not hesitate to call on them for any landscaping needs !!

We had a large drainage issue fixed that the previous homeowners left us to deal with. Daniel King was courteous, professional and very personable during the estimate, and Tabitha was always a delight on the phone. If there was ever a scheduling conflict that arose, she was right there calling to inform me. The team that came during the two days of work was amazing as well. Very timely and took their work seriously. I couldnt have asked for better service or a better job done and that section of my yard looks brand new and better than ever! When I called DC Lawn & Landscape, I had a bad attitude. I needed to find a contractor to rip out and redo a previous contractors bad quality work. My bad previous experience with the other guys made me hyper critical from the start with DC. Daniel King and his team quickly put my fears to rest. Daniel showed up for the initial inspection quickly and his quote arrived soon thereafter. His staff stayed in contact with me every step of the way. His price was very fair. Three days before work was to commence, I received an email letting me know they were monitoring the weather and there was a possibility of a rain delay. This never happened with any previous contractor. In the past, if it rained, other guys just wouldnt show up -- no communication. DC rescheduled with me for just a couple of days later -- and then showed up a day early. Their installation team, led by Bobby Faust, was knowledgable, and they got in and out quickly. They cleaned up their mess when they left. A week later, Bobby even came back to check on the work. You can do a lot worse than to hire DC Lawn and Landscape, but Im not sure you can do any better. Highly recommended.

DC Lawn purposed a good design with overall coverage for our lawn and gardens. Their installation was exceptional with regards to speed and detail. They finished in the 2-days they had planned on and the fished product works great. After a few weeks the sod they had put over the lines has filled in with very little evidence of any lawn disturbance. Great job guys!

DC Lawn and Landscaping did a fantastic job repairing our yard after large equipment destroyed it while taking down trees. We had standing water and all of our grass was destroyed. DC Landscaping graded the yard to help the water flow, planted beautiful sod, and put pinestraw in all flowerbeds. Our yard looks beautiful now.

Not very happy with responsiveness for requests for services. Asked two times for quotes. First time, I was contacted for a time to survey the yard...I provided a time...and never heard back. Second time, I never heard back from my request. Then weeks later, I received a feedback request for my service....what service???

Everything went as promised. I had section of property regraded and new sod placed. Very fast work and with far more detailed cleanup and irrigation check and adjustment than I expected. Very happy with all aspects of this work by DC Lawn. Unhesitatingly recommend
