Chris W let me know when he was coming and let me know when he got here. We discussed the problems with my lawn. I explained to him that I had called to report my lawn was dying and the area was getting bigger. Someone came out but left and I still didn t have any answers. He looked at the areas of concern, explained what he was going to do ( put potash in the dead areas of my lawn, he told me to spread some top soil over the area where he put potash down) I will get the top soil tomorrow and spread down. I really what to thank Chris W for explaining and taking care of my lawn. 5 stars Larry

Today was supposed to be my first day of service. Sat at home all day and no one showed up. I checked my account and the appointment had been canceled with no reason. I called customer service and was told the system wasnt showing on their the visit had been canceled. Found out they were coming to reseed when I requested weed control first as my lawn was overgrown with weeds. Hopefully this is not a sign of the kind of service Ill be getting. I already paid for a year so I guess Ill have to wait and see...

Not sure if the technician got our trees at the back of our lot.

I hired them for two lawns for the season. One looks great. The other they did not treat the back yard for any of the services. Basically stealing my money. I called and they offered me one free treatment. No thanks, on to the next company.

Jeffrey came out today to treat our yard for mosquitoes. I havent met a more knowledgeable Specialist with TruGreen. He is a highly motivated person that really cares about his job and his clients. He went out of way to explain the process and show us trouble spots in our yard.

Steve spent quite some time spraying all very well. I explained prior, how TruGreen had not finished an earlier spraying because of a hornets nest, but did not come back to finish! Because of Steve s extra effort today, I am hopeful the enormous number of mosquitoes that had developed after Tru Green s lack of past follow-up, are now gone, to what had been negligible number before.

Specialist Jeffrey Wright came out to our property to apply mosquito def + outdoor pest control. He was very friendly and answered all of our questions.

Horrible experience. The company continually scheduled services and then would cancel day of, often times they would do this 2 days in a row. They did not complete the agreed upon job consistently. We paid and entered into a contract with Trugreen where they would service our front and back yard, they consistently serviced only the front yard. We even installed security cameras (to monitor our dog and possible wildlife activity in our backyard) and had video evidence that they did not do the job we contracted them to perform. Read up on your contract too, if you don t actively cancel it they will continue you as a customer and charge your credit card.It is not worth the headache for their poor service.

The technician that spread my yard was very courteous, very polite and did an excellent job. I ve noticed several places that I ve had bare spots for a couple years are now starting to grow grass again.

I dont go thru tru green and honestly what I just encountered I never will. My neighbor just got their weeds sprayed and I happened to be outside next to where it was being sprayed, you would think theyd warn you before doing so but no he just sprayed and wind was blowing it right towards me. What a way to enjoy the nice breeze while choking to death. I had to close my windows because the smell came into the house as well and was not good for the pets. You guys really need to do better. Those chemicals are harmful.

The detailed description of what was done and what is recommended on the service summary that was left after the treatment is very helpful. Jacob Hambaugh who was here on 5/28/24 was friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate him letting me know when it would be safe to let the dogs out.

Ted Chandler once again is delivering outstanding service. I had my sprinkler systems turned on yesterday. The man that did it had a bachelors degree in this field. He has worked at StoneLick and Blue Ash golf course in Cincinnati. He said Wow who does your lawn care your lawn looks phenomenal. I said TruGreen and the employee is Ted Chandler. He said it was one of the best lawns he has seen in the area. Take care of Ted he is an All-Star employee for you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weed control and stronger lawn was my concerns. They were addressed above my expectations.

Today we came home to a yard of dying foliage because the technician spraying our neighbors yard cant read. Our property was trespassed upon and sprayed with herbicide without our consent. Will be adding photos of before and after. The birds and animals I have been feeding on my property are now likely poisoned, not to mention my bee hives which will surely die. Extremely disappointed and will be pursuing our options for mediation.

Jeremy H is probably the worst lawn care technician who works for tru green, he leaves duplicate invoices, and failed to actually treat my lawn. When you call customer service they act like this is no big deal. How does a company stay in existence with such poor quality service and technician. Buyer beware!

NEVER USED THESE GUYS...ALL I DID WAS SIGN-UP AND BEFORE ANY TREATMENT (days ahead of) WE CANCELLED & WENT WITH OASIS WHICH WAS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FROM THE PREVIOUS HOME OWNERS...With that being said Ive gotten literally half a dozen phone calls from them trying to solicit me to sign up which I then tell the rep? that we are very pleased with our current service... Youd think theyd get the picture by now but... ... Its generally from a wireless caller.. I saw the MANY,MANY horrible, negative reviews and its no hype folks!

I ve been a customer for years but this may be my last. On 5/31 I was scheduled for a double service, grub control and fertilizer. At 4:15 I got notification the tech had come and gone. I checked all my cameras and saw nothing and no paperwork was left. I called and was told it would be rescheduled. The tech came yesterday but only fertilized and no grub control. I checked my app and was charged for both. I had to call and reschedule again. No customer should have to monitor these activities like this. At this point I trust no one in Tru Green, particularly management, scheduling and billing but also including the tech that ghosted me and started this mess. Watch your accounts and services closely so this doesn t happen to you

Lousy customer service! Called TruGreen when the applications did not kill the weeds. They rescheduled for specialist to come back out last Thursday. He didnt show up. Rescheduled for Tuesday this week. Received a text message he was on the property. He was not. He never showed up!!!!! Called and complained today.... they will schedule for a specialist to come out Monday. I ask to speak to a supervisor, and she said she couldnt do that. Been a customer for several years, but never again!!!!!!!m Unfortunately, I couldnt give it less than 1 star!!!

This is not the right on for your lawn work they just take my money for keep my lawn same as what I use to have waste of my 1 year and without letting me know that my service is done start talking my money from my account soooo frustrating

IF I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS I WOULD. After receiving countless up-sale calls from Trugreen and denying them the opportunity to do anything other than treat my lawn I cancelled service all together. I was told my account was up to date and I owed nothing. 1 month later I have continued to receive up sale calls after canceling service. Then after about 6 calls the representative Juwan tells me I owe $125 +$48 from some service over a year ago.... and said I was invoiced which would be find except from the moment I signed on I was on automatic pay monthly.... Then after a few more calls to their customer service bc I continue to get text that a service person will be out to spray my yard the morning of the Apr 1st I get another text saying they will be there in 5 hours.... OMG this company is like Hotel freaking California.... you cant get rid of them....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES!!! Just got off the phone as they said oh you were also signed up for shrub and tree service....WHEN I SAID CANCEL I MEANT CANCEL... Everything ... I told several reps I did not ever want to have to deal with Trugreen again....and apparently they do not get it..... Forwarding to my lawyers and hopefully they can figure it out!

WE TRIED TO WORK WITH THEM BUT THE SITUATION WITH BOTH OUR FRONT AND BACKYARD WENT FROM BAD TO WORSE. PLEASE DO NOT USE TRUE GREEN LAWN SERVICE. Scheduled for first visit today. Had explained to many representatives that I wanted to walk lawn with technician on first visit to discuss challenges and my desires for the lawn. When Raymont arrived he said he had too many houses to treat today and didnt have time to spend even 20 minutes walking my lawn with me. Not a good way to make a first impression! Supposed to send an experienced technician out later today. Well see if TruGreen can turn around a bad first step. Update: The second technician never showed.

Avoid this company at all costs. When I requested a quote, they offered me a price of $1400 and some change per year. Opting for a local company at just $650 per year instead, I find that they persistently call and harass me, despite my request to cease contact due to my decision to go with another provider and having already made full payment. Their behavior is not only rude but also exceedingly pushy, disregarding my repeated refusals.

Very professional staff. Rocky listened to all our ideas and made suggestions. The entire project was reasonably priced. The landscape installers were timely, and friendly.and even made some placement changes per our recommendations. Very easy to work with. The office staff was also helpful and friendly with follow questions we had about caring for our new landscape. We wil definitely use Degree again and highly recommend for any landscape needs.

I do not recommend this company. Their pricing is attractive but service is terrible. They were a no show (again) this past week. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told We dont let customers speak to supervisors because they are always busy? When you call their customer service number, you will get someone outside of the US who can barely speak English and is reading from queue cards. They cannot tell you what application is being put down or where the technicians are in route. This is what you get when a company tries to cut costs at the expense of good customer service. Taking my business elsewhere.

I called today to cancel my service due to the rising cost (Bidenomics)... The person I talked to was determined to not let me cancel and we had some words! Of course the call center was overseas.... I dont like raising my voice but sometimes stupidity doesnt listen.

Marty Newman did the lawn, and Pete Holt took care of the shrubs and trees. Time will tell how effective the applications are, but I spoke at length with both Marty and Pete, who were pleased to educate me. Both gentlemen are extremely knowledgeable, efficient and willing to help customers understand what they do. I always have felt that a company s best salespeople are those who service the customer, face to face. Marty and Pete certainly fit that bill. I had my first scheduled appointment and the tech didnt complete the work. The tech can for aeration when this service is supposed to be in the fall. Even though TruGreen incorrectly scheduled the wrong service, I have to wait now another week for service. This is my first time using Trugreen and its off to a terrible start

Had filled out the on-line to get a quote thing and have received 6 phone calls in 24 hours asking for my business. I spoke to the second phone call and advised just doing price shopping. They have lost any chance of getting my business.

The technician Byrce was wonderful. He explained what he was doing and also let me if I had pets to keep them off the lawn. I like him. Very nice!

Tech sent never does a complete nor good job I usually give good reviews. I have lawn service as well as perimeter service. But recently it seems that the company hires people that just dont care. I have complained and asked for a manager to contact me and I still have not had a reply response. Services

The specialists who come out every month are the least friendly and engaging people I ve met thus far in the lawn care industry. They will spray anything that s in the yard, regardless of what it is. Upon calling the office, the woman I spoke to completely disregarded my complaint about rudeness and carelessness, never asking any details to hold anyone accountable. I think we can do better than that.

Our technician today was very thorough and professional ,and did a great job treating our lawn. He has been our service man so far this year, and is doing a great job making sure our lawn is in top condition!

I was having so many billing issues with this company. I did not owe a balance so closed my account and I was still being charged. I spoke with about 4 different agents to resolve this issue. It was confirmed each time that this issue would be handled but it was not and I was still being charged. I was really frustrated! Finally I got an absolutely excellent agent today Quashanna Dixon from NJ. She apologized to me for the issue, took her time reviewed previous notes, transactions found the problem and resolved the issue! She really deserves to be recognized at her location for providing me with excellent customer service.

Man was fine and did good job BUT every visit it seems to be someone new and I need to go over property lines to make sure I get the whole lawn done. Think I saw the same fella only once in two years of service.

Weve been customers of Truegreen for years now, but they took our pest control service to another level today. Out Tech, Peter used a extension brush to remove any traces of insect activity or spider webs from the eves and soffits, then sprayed the entire perimeter of our foundation, windows and doors. Just a new level of service. Thanks

I have nothing to compare quality of service as it relates to the misquote repellent because this is a new house, and I was trying to get in front of what may have been a problem. Thwy initially went to the wrong house and sprayed. But I will say, we were bitten by misquotes since they sprayed, so Im not seeing the value yet. It was within two weeks since they sprayed. Im not happy yet, 3star, because customer service truly did everything to keep my business. The last representative was county, and her accent was music to my ears. She can talk, and I buy every time, lol

I have used trugreen for years. Absolutely do not trust this company! If I could give less stars at this point I would.

I have been a long time client of Trugreen Chemlawn for over 20 years. Four scheduled Aeriation/ receceding have been scheduled and no one ever showed or even called as to why they didnt come. Im about done and am disappointed in the company. Theyve been so good for all these years. What happened??

Only one star for weed control. The one weed I wanted them to treat was Nimblewell weed, which they said they could treat when I signed up turns out they can t get rid of it. Pest control gets 5 stars.

Called to get details on sod/seeding my back yard and whoever I talked to on the phone was trying to sell me every service under the sun rather than what I was calling for. I mentioned multiple times to the guy on the phone that I didn t want anything else but he continued to try and sell me services for trees, shrubs, weed and insect care for the rest of the yard. I don t know why he couldn t just talk to me about the service I wanted and kept trying to up-sell me on everything else. I will probably never reach out to this company again just because the one person I spoke to was just trying to make a quick buck instead of earning me as a customer by helping me with my problem.

Excellent results

I have not been pleased with my experience This was my time this year signing up for TruGreen. First visit they did someone elses yard. I had to call two times and on second Call it was taken care of by a very nice representative. I was suppose to have the aeration and over seeding service back on 9/14 and 9/20 and both times I received the text alert they were coming on those days and a text alert same day they were unable to perform the service. Today 10/4 they came to do the weed kill and fertilization. I told the gentleman I still had not received the aeration and over seeding treatment and he told me I needed to call. I call and they tell me they are coming tomorrow. I said he just put down a treatment is that correct to do this treatment so close together. I feel like when you call the representatives are not helpful. The young man today was very helpful and suggested I call the number on my receipt. I tried to speak to someone at branch location he said ask for Jeremy and I keep getting directed back to representatives. I honestly not seeing any improvement with grass just a bunch of burnt out spots. I guess I will see what happens

All of the above with the problems. Call center associate was, and I quote, yeah , ummm , that associate needs retrained that you spoke to first that closed and said your problem was resolved. It was not resolved. My weeping cherry was healthy for 5 years. After their mosquito treatment for 6 months it died. Wont continue service and will not suggest their service to anyone. Unprofessional with appointment times too.

If you call for a quote and keep asking for a lower price, they can go from the most expensive to the least expensive fertilizing/weed control option. But the weed control seems kind of weak.

This was my 1st year using TruGreen, and it will definitely be my LAST. Today I was supposed to have my final treatment. Got a text saying that they were at my property at 8:02 a.m. I looked out and saw no one. Then, at 8:16 they said the service was complete. Again still no one. How can they be done at my house when they never showed up??? This was the 3rd time this has happened. If I had not witnessed this today and prior I would have been charged for something that never occurred. Pretty DISHONEST. Called customer service and they were nice about it. That is the only thing I can say positive.
