Had a horrible time scheduling them, didn’t come when they said they would. Then when the owner did come he was immediately defensive and really didn’t seem like he wanted to be here bidding me the job. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

The owner came out and gave me an estimate and stuck with the price. He described what they would do, wrote up an estimate, and I had a very clear understanding of exactly what work was being completed. The workers showed up on time, and were very pleasant and professional. Most importantly, I was impressed with the job that was done. I have a very large yard that had been severely neglected for several years before I moved in four years ago. The difference is amazing! I like to tell people that my life isn't boring, but I am really enjoying watching my grass grow! I would definitely recommend Labrenz Landscaping. The lady in the office is super nice, too!

Customer service was terrible and the quality was short lived. The grass seed that was planted came up with multiple weeds, despite going with the more expensive Alaska blend the owner recommended. I spoke with a grass seed company rep later and found out we could have received a seed that was free of weeds; instead I spend the majority of the summer weeding a lawn that is only a few years old. When receiving a quote the owner cautioned us not to invest too much in our property because of the kind of neighborhood we live in and implied what we could and could not afford to do, disregarding what I stated I preferred. The day the work began, I requested a small change in the curve of the border to better meet the front porch and he handed me the paint sprayer and said "here, you do it" and stormed off. We've worked with a number of contractors during home renovation and Labrenz was by far the worst. His employees did a much better job interacting with us. Recommend you take your money elsewhere to a company that listens and respects its customers.
