Impressed with the work they did, removing 2 LARGE trees that were very close to the house. The teams skill was especially impressive to say the least. In addition, they were professional, kind, thorough and answered our questions throughout the process. Very happy.

I went ahead and used Above Ground as it came reccomended highly from others in our neighborhood. I got quotes from multiple other tree services and Above Ground definitely set themselves apart not only in service and price but in how quickly they were able to turn around on my request. Im talking lightning fast turnaround that would make Amazon prime delivery seem slow. Our house is on a corner lot facing a main road and the other side is the only entrance to the neighborhood. They were very mindful of my property but also where they had to be positioned as to not inconvenience anyone in the neighborhood. The workers were extremely polite and checked in periodically as well as the owner Juan, who was extremely professional, knowledgeable, honest and extremely reasonable. Thank you for the spectacular job and I would gladly recommend this company to anyone in the area who is looking for landscaping and tree removal.

Great workers..... Dishonest owner. Get a detailed (signed) written estimate, and dont pay in full until job is done. Edit... He knew that the tree owner was a 100 year old woman on a fixed income and ripped her off anyway. Edit to your response... I should not have to contact you. You have my phone number, you should be contacting me. Actually, you should have asked me if we were happy with the job before you drove away. The only people that I am going to contact is the NJ division of taxation and ask why you would want me to write my moms check to you personally and not to your business even though I added 7 percent to the total to cover the required nj sales tax, Dont mess with a man trying to protect his one hundred year old mother from people like you.

My neighbor was scheduled to have a tree removed on his property. I needed my sycamore tree trimmed but did not have an appointment. They came for an estimate on Wednesday. They arrived and completed the tree trimming job on Friday evening. The staff did a great job, trimming, chipping, and cleaning up. The staff even discussed with me my expectations before and during the job. They later exceeded them. In the future, I will be recommending them and using them.

Juan Carlos responded back to be very quickly when I called to get an initial estimate. Other tree folks take days, if not longer to respond. He and his crew showed up only several days after the quote and spent the entire day neatly trimming the 8 mature trees throughout my property. They used appropriate equipment and gear. They even showed up again the next day to finish some details and thoroughly clean my property of debris. I was very impressed with their work and their neatness. Their work trimming a 25-year old birch tree that towered over my property was especially impressive. We had been waiting years to have that done appropriately. I will definitely hire his crew again. I called them to ask for a quote to remove a tree and grind down another stump. They gave me a quote the next day. They came 2 days later and did a great job and it was very affordable. I dont have any more trees that need to be removed, but if I did I would definitely use them again.

Juan is the man! Took down a behemoth of a silver maple in our yard, had to remove our entire pool filter and parts of our privacy fence, put everything back exactly how it was and cleaned up more of the saw dust and chips than Ive ever seen any tree company clean. The price being far cheaper than all the other quotes was a nice bonus too.

Above Ground Tree Service did an excellent job removing very large, dead limbs from an oak tree behind my house. Several of the limbs were hanging directly above the house. Mr. Vargas crew took care to remove the dead wood, piece by piece, avoiding any damage to the roof or gutters. They were very professional. The price for the job was fair and reasonable, and they showed up when they said they would. The cleanup was also top-notch. Ill use Above Ground Tree Service again when I need trees trimmed or removed.

I have used Above Ground to cut trees in my yard twice. Most recent was during the storm 3/20/24. Lovely dead tree started falling towards the house. I called Mr. Vargas in the evening immediately after it happened. Even though it was past work hours, he came out to my home in less than 1/2 hr. Needless to say, tree had to go. Juan Carlo and his crew are fantastic and phenomenal! They are very professional, courteous and were on time everyday. I had a neighbor s HUGE tree fall into my backyard. It did major damage to my tree, destroyed my entire perimeter fence, yard and shed. I called Juan, he came out right away, assessed the damage and he and his crew immediately began the cleanup. They worked nonstop cleaning up the debris, cutting and grinding the tree limbs from both trees, branches and tree trunks until the sun went down.
