Their work was amazing - for example, they carefully measured where to lay each cobblestone in the border to make a perfect circle. We have been working with ALF for three years. All of the projects we have done were done well with great respect for our garden and home. They have replaced a concrete path, framed out beds with paver bricks, cleaned and re-sanded pavers, built raised beds, solved drainage issues and redesigned planting beds and pruned shrubs and trees. The concrete was poured perfectly to slant away from our house. We live in an association and the drainage was done with minimal disturbance to common ground. His selection of plants are beautiful and in keeping with what we have requested. We were referred to ALF by friends and feel fortunate to have found such a great landscaping resource.

I had talked with almost 10 different landscapers about solving a water drainage problem that was causing damage to my home. Most tried either to tell me I did not have a problem or tried to talk me into something I was not convinced would work. Roman at Alf listened to the issues I had, the ideas I and others had and together we worked out a plan to fix my issue. When the time came to do the work, Roman and his team worked efficiently and effectively to ensure we completed the job as designed. We were even able to modify the plan during the implementation process to improve the likely outcome. The result was a beautifully designed and implemented drainage system that cleared water from my home and a newly seeded lawn that while late in the season, still grew. This was 2 months ago. Why am I writing today? Well, we are near the end of a huge storm that dumped 3" of water in less than 12 hours and Roman reached out to me to ensure that our drainage project was working as designed. First of all, the drainage is working and I have no water anywhere near my house!!! Second of all, the fact that he followed up 3 months later when he knew the system would be tested showed his caring and concern for his clients. I am so glad I talked with so many different landscapers and decided to go with Alf Landscaping! The workmanship, professionalism, caring and follow up are above and beyond my expectations. Roman and the crew were top notch. I had a very old 200 foot railroad ties retaining wall that needed updating and the crew at ALF Landscaping were able to knock this out within a week. They updated my wall to a beautiful Onyx stone retaining wall with a flat top for seating.. They were efficient and thoughtful in their design and installation. I highly recommend!
