Wasted my time answering too many questions on a questionnaire. Called me to ask more questions visited the website & an add that listed services just to get on the phone with a real person to tell me they dont cut grass. How are you a lawn service that doesnt cut grass. Thats the bare basic of lawn service.

Lucas did a good job fertilizing the plants in the landscaping around the house today. He did not fertilize the Holly Bush in the yard or the plants in the landscaping around the garage. I also ask him if he would apply something in the landscaping through the year to keep the grass from coming through. He told me that was up to the lawn crew. I would appreciate someone contacting me to clear this issue up. My contract was for the entire property, not just the plants in the landscaping around the house. Thank you. If your In Evansville Indiana do not use True Green. It is the worst service i have ever dealt with. I signed up several months ago and never had lawn service before. I asked them to look at it before they spray to make sure it will work for my lawn. I got a message that they sprayed so i figured evetyhing was good. about a week after that i have a linge of bushes die. I called and keep in mind i cant talk to anyone at the Evansville office you get the call center and wait for them to call you back. The manager did call back and i explained it all. He said he would come visit and look at my lawn and take soil samples around the bushes. He came and never called me back. I called the call center and waited a few days again. He did call back and apologized. He stated my lawn needs reseeded and there services wouldnt work. I am not sure why it got sprayed but he did refund the amount of the spray. He forgot to take soil samples but said he would come back out. I never heard back from him. I called the call center again and they said he Would call me. No one called. Someone from the call center followed back up to check and i explained the Evansville branch manager wont call back and i have no clue whats going on. The said the notes in the system said he will call me on the 24th which was going to be a week later. Today is the 4th and still no call from him and i still dont have results. Again the call center called me just to check on the situation. I explained this is the worst service ever and this manager still hasnt called me back. They will never give a local number to call the branch. They put notes in the system for him to call and i have explained its several months later since this all started and he never calls. If you debating on several companies to use i would not use True Green. Because they are so big your just a number to them and you can never talk to you local office. If there are any issues they will not get resolved.

In 2022, I spent hundreds of dollars with Tru Green. And still sought resolution in 2023. While a few of TruGreens staff appear to try to do a good job, they seem to be very poorly trained, at least in SW IN. (Exception: the technician from Arkansas - who was brought in to help this area with thrir backlog - was very responsive and knowledgeable.) Before the year was up, I had dead shrubs, many bare spots, but plenty of weeds. I contacted TruGreen many times-and always received promises of follow-up or visit, but nothing positive transpired. At this time, I recommend that NO ONE in this area (SW Indiana, Evansville) do business with Tru Green. There are many other companies that would be more reasonably priced and better qualified.

Call once to get a quote and endless calls/emails after. Ignore this place.

I had an unfortunate experience with the service, which involved less than satisfactory responses. This was particularly frustrating as I had to deal with two disconnections before my third attempt to chat with an agent, Sabrina. The overall experience was far from enjoyable, primarily due to prolonged response times. Sabrina explained that she had to manage up to three simultaneous chats, which I believe is an unfair workload for both the agents and customers. Throughout the conversation, the tone of the chat felt rushed, and I often found myself under pressure to conclude it quickly. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was informed that I would be contacted within 24-48 hours. While Im generally understanding of occasional service issues, this experience fell well below the standard I expected.

Trevor T. did an outstanding job aerating and over seeding my lawn. It was done in a timely manner, and I am very satisfied.

I had truegreen last year. I wasnt sure if its worth but OK to try. The whole last year, I ddint see significant change of my lawn. Theres no difference between my and my neighbors lawn. My neighbor didnt use truegreen. However, this year, I found the lawn is much thicker, greener, much better than my neighbors. As a result, I decided to continue truegreen. I may give truegreen 5 stars. However, one time a truegreen technician forgot to treat my backyard.

I called to get pricing and I asked a question about service. The employee simply answered no to my question and when I stated I had hoped they would have done the service he hung up on me. Wow!!!

We had very poor service their technicians did not do what they were supposed to do. I called to cancel I had to call to cancel four times I was still charged for services that we refused and there was no records of my calls or cancellations and I was not reimbursed. This is the worst company I ve ever encountered and I will recommend that no one use them ever.

This is the only negative review I have ever posted! They never show up when scheduled but continue to bill! I have contacted them several times and they promise to have a local rep contact you, needless to say, that has never occurred! I have to treat my lawn because they don t show up. I pay them, and I do the work. They have an amazing business model! 100% Scam!

We signed on with TruGreen when we moved to our new house. We paid for 9 services to be completed spring- fall. They completed the first service early April and never returned (it is mid-July now). When we have called customer service there is confusion, apologies, and misinformation, but no solution. One person told us the service window was 8-10 weeks and another said it was 4-6 weeks. Either way we are well beyond the serive window. We highly, highly recommend not using this company.

I thought trugreen did good job last year, because my lawn appeared thicker and greener than one of my two neighbors. However, Im so disappointed this year. They double billed me in May. Today I happened to be at home when TruGreen came to do their job. The worker with a manual sprayer on his back sprayed about 20 times in the backyard, then hes done. My backyard is about 4000 square feet. I dont how he did to my front yard. Im going to cancel.

I came home from work today to find signs in my yard saying my yard had been sprayed. I also had a door hanger with a piece of trugreen receipt paper with a hand written note saying my yard had a treatment. I don t have a contract with trugreen nor have I ever spoken to anyone. I go to my backyard and once again find another yard stake. My fenced in yard. Someone trespassed on my yard and sprayed a chemical on my yard without my permission. I called the number and spoke to a lady. She escalated my issue and my concerns especially since I have a dog to the GM. Here we are almost 2 hours later without a phone call, apology or explanation. I expected an urgent phone call and that had not happened. Shame on this company for trespassing and endangering my dog.

Professional service that works.

Tru green has treated my front lawn for years. This year I have some significant patches of crabgrass. I called to have treat it. After a series of discussions Tru green has taken care of the issue. Call them if not satisfied and they will resolve your concern.

Used TruGreen the past 3 years. First few years had pretty good service but have been very disappointed this year. I have only received 3 of my 7 treatments. They call and schedule the appointments then dont show or reschedule and never come. I had to reach out to them in July to get my lawn treated since I had only received 1 treatment for the year. But they did call and offer me misquote treatment every other day even after I said I was not interested the first time.....My 3rd treatment the technician showed up and made about 2 laps around my house and skipped the rest of my 2 acre yard and charged me full price. My security camera showed them at my house for about 7 minutes. It was also very clear since there were no other lines in my yard from the fertilizer buggy. I have canceled my services with them and would definitely not recommend using them

I am very disappointed. The Evansville,In Trugreen has ruined my yard and has failed to fix the error. I have waited for them to come fix what they said they would and still they have not followed through. I do not reccomend them at all.

You always know when to expect your service. Paying your bill is easy online and getting additional service is easy to set up online.

Waste of money.

We used trugreen last year for mosquitoes and they were great. This year my husband and I called for over a month and were both told that someone would contact us to schedule our treatment. We were told we still had an active account. I finally paid for the entire season for fleas, ticks and mosquitoes and was told someone would contact me within 48 hours to schedule the treatment. That was the first week in April. I did a live chat with Jennifer on friday, 4/23/21. She told me someone would contact me about scheduling our treatment. She didnt know why we had been rescheduled. I explained the problem to her. She said a manager would call me monday, 4/26/21. I have not heard from anyone. We have not had a treatment either, almost 2 months after the first phone call! *UPDATE 5/12/21: A trugreen representative called and spoke to my husband immediately following the first review I posted. The explanation he gave for not having serviced our yard was the weather. He said they dont usually start until April/May anyway and that because of the weather the company has pushed back start dates. (We had snow flurries one day in April.) It is now the second week of May, entire season paid for, and STILL NO SERVICE. No one has called to set up service. We have had no contact with Trugreen. Time to contact the Better Business Bureau, BBB.

I like that they leave a leaflet telling - what they did, what I can expect, chemicals used and useful tips. Our lawn specialist, Joshua Gonzalez, takes great care with each application.

Pre-paid for 8 lawn applications, they showed up for the first one and everything was ok. They went ahead and scheduled the next 3 in a row and no technician ever showed up to any of them. Maybe if they show up the work would be ok but they have some serious scheduling issues that need fixed.

I am very frustrated!!!!! My neighbor was using their service and my invisible fence got damaged when they aerated into my yard. I have called at least 10 times and every time I get the call center and they say someone will call me back. One time someone called and said he would call the next day and never heard from him again. I am now unable to use my fence and my dogs have to go on a leash. THEY came into MY Yard and damaged my property and they are not even calling me back. I ve been nice every time but it s going on 4 weeks now of me calling and trying to get this resolved. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Nest camera caught the guy spraying maybe 25% of yard. TruGreen is such a rip off.

They destroyed my yard, and their area supervisor even came to house and agreed that it was their fault. Stated that aeration and seeding would not work so he would do slice seeding at no cost to repair the damage in the whole front yard. this was on 10/06/21 now it is 11/24/21 and they have been out multiple times but still have not performed the service that he said was needed. Also the local office in Evansville Indiana will not call you back to talk about issue. Dont use this company as they do not honor their guarantee claims and do not even do what they promise.

We got something in the mail from you, it was addressed to my mother in laws father who has been deceased for 10 years. So thank you for opening that wound back up. There is absolutely no reason you should have anything with his name on it in your system! We will never give you guys our business.

Had them come for weed control. Guy refused to spray a large weed area. Tried to say it was Against the law. Had to call his supervisor. Was reassured by the supervisor that someone would be coming out to spray the large weeded area for free that month. The whole month went by no one came. Guy comes today I go outside to tell him I want that side sprayed. He says he will spray it. I have cameras and watched him just leave.

Tech recently came out to treat lawn, after treatment lawn started dying. I contacted customer service and they told me they would have a manager get in touch with me. Finally I received a call from automated system for lawn service that tech would be out next day. Tech came and took pics and said manager would be in touch. I still have not heard from manager and my lawn is still dying. I have been with Tru Green for 2.5 years and have had to constantly stay on them. I would not recommend this company

My Yard looked better before they started treating it. Still have weeds and color of grass has changed for the worse.

Weeds and clover all over my back yard. Come to find out they were only treating the front yard only. They said a typo. They have about half the clover gone but lots of weeds all over the yard. I paid for whole year up front, big mistake. Not happy with Tru Green.

Could never get a definitive answer on when I would be Getting my next mosquito spray. I was told it would be 4 to 6 weeks in on a Friday. Then another representative told me it was every 30 days. Well on a random Monday almost $70 was deducted from my account unknowingly.Are use that account just for online payments and my rent, I had my rent scheduled to be paid that day well TruGreen Deducted their money causing my rent to be returned with insufficient funds totaling close to $100 in overdraft fees and returned item fees. And more importantly since I was not giving notice of them coming to treat my yard. My 5 pound Chihuahua was outside and got scared ran into my garage And hid, it was 100+ Heat index and I don t know how long she was in the garage nor do I know how long she was exposed to the chemicals when she left the garage because she never went into her doggie door out of fear. We are currently pushing fluids and watching for signs of poisoning and All customer service did to help the situation at all I promise my technician from now on would call me when he s on his way

Canceled their service today after over 3 years of being a loyal customer. Their technicians arent smart enough to read their service ticket which has the code for the locks on our gates! They say they cant service our lawn and they just leave. This happens 3 or 4 times per year and I shouldnt have to call and deal with it since they have the codes! They need to hire smarter people!

AVOID. They bother you all the time with add on sales calls! Local people of TrueGreen good but the business model is broken. After signing up they call you daily, email, request you use their cell phone app on cell phone, leave sales information on door. I bet they have called me 30 times the first month. Crazy! The advertising add on sales machine is intense at this company. Go local and avoid this big company mess. I cancelled and asked to be off their no call or sales list. They call everyday. Excellent experience from start to finish

After the first treatment I could see a difference. The yard is fuller and greener than ever before. A lot of the weeds have died out already. Just had the second treatment. I can see more weeds dyeing. It is really making a difference

They were nice and worked with me

We have the mosquito defense and its such a waste of money!! I have to call them back every time they spray! Not sure why I allow them to come back. Each month I tell myself that its going to be better, but they prove me wrong. Doesnt matter where on the property we are, the mosquitos are attacking us and this service is not cheap! Therefore, I want to warn others to not go with this service or even this company. Im starting to wonder if they even spray my whole property. Its pretty sad you have to stay home to babysit them just to make sure a company is doing what youre paying them to do.

I went through this company to spray for mosquitos. Ive seen a handful of mosquitoes the entire summer. Normally, I am bitten by mutant sized mosquitoes 30 or 40 times a week.

I had Trugreen for this past year. If we were not outside watching them spray, they would simply put the signs in the yard and the paperwork on the door. They wouldnt spray anything and were typically done in 30 seconds before driving away. After having to call for a follow up every visit, I just gave up and cancelled. My yard still has weeds, dirt, and very little grass. Great job.

Pricing is deceptive

I had this company for many years. It is a predatory lawn care service that will take advantage of people, especially the elderly, all in the name of the old mighty buck. I agreed to a service a year ago reluctantly with the promise of a money back guarantee. The service didnt work and no money back. This year, without my permission, they did the same service. They told me by agreeing to it last year I agreed to it this year. I have now cancelled their service. Stay away from this predatory lawn care company.

If I could rate a 0 I would. Weeds didnt die agter first treatment. 2nd treatment killed our grass. Brown patches everywhere. Worse service and company ever. Cant wait until they go out of business. We will cancel or plan with them and never look back our yard looks horrible. I do not recommend.

Not worth it! My yard looks worse after 2 seasons of them taking care of it than when i just did it myself. They were first hired to treat the fungus that was creating dead spots and then continued with there complete service. It looked a little better by the end of the first season, so we continued their service the following season. Unfortunately, coming to the end of the 2nd season, the yard looks worse than when we first hired them.

Called them and the first lady is very rude and not friendly at all, keep saying that I have a bill statement without listening to any explanation. However, I called again and Cecky Barth at #5665 is a very friendly lady. I really appreciate her help. Although the bill problems havent solve at all, but she seems to help me out and made a few notes about my situation. Overall, lawn service is ok, customer service really varies, and the billing department is a big mess.

TruGreen has provided good service and the appearance of the yard is good. When a concern has been expressed TruGreen Lawn usually responds within a timely manner. The previous year due to weather the yard had experienced a invasion of crab grass and other unwanted weeds. TruGreen addressed the major problem with a quick response and immediate results were received.

I received a phone call from a lady today around 3:15 pm, and I politely told her that I was not interested in the services. I am at work, and had a meeting coming up so I told her thank you very much, but I was not interested then hung up. She continued to call me consecutively until I answered just to hang up on me when I finally answered. Yeah sure I would love to use your product? WOW! I politely told her twice thank you, but Im not interested. What part of that means to continue to ask me questions. Very Rude!

Before TruGreen took over I had a field of weeds, now I have a field of dreams. The year began with a property full of unwanted weeds and now its a plush carpet of healthy lawn. The bonus is, they havent even put the new seed down and it looks like a golf course already. The transformation so far is incredible. Thank you TruGreen for my new lawn!

My lawn is a work-in-progress. I hired TruGreen last year to transform my unhealthy and unattractive lawn into a vibrant one. I am happy with its progress. My lawn is impacted by acorns and debris from trees in the fall months that prevented a consistent thickness is some areas.
