While the work that was done looked great, it was often frustrating trying to get the project idea together and implemented. The landscape designer was very nice, but I felt like she did not listen to anything that we discussed during our initial consult. Then any communication we had over changing the plan ideas always took several days to change, and even then I felt like I wasn t listened to. Ultimately, the landscape design was beautiful and the actual work took only a couple of days, but I wish the initial planning was a lot smoother and faster.

Ive used Greenwise a lot for the past three years. I do my own landscaping and yard work, but use them for specialty work. In addition to the services above, Ive had them do slice seeding, install an underground drainage run, and their annual fertilization and other yard applications (i.e. grub control) program since they use all eco friendly materials. Great results, communication, and response every time. Ive got a lot of shade, and when I moved in the lawn was very bad to non-existent, and, now, starting its third season, its looking pretty darn good much to my surprise.

I am grateful to have Greenwise caring for my yard so I dont need to worry about my grandchildren and their pets being e exposed to toxic chemicals. They also have improved the appearance of my yard through their planning care and are always open to questions.

When we moved from our condominium into a single family home, we wanted some help with care of the lawn and landscaping that came with the house. The company we originally retained was a corporate spray/pray/walk away operation that would show up at random times, douse the lawn and the plants with the same liquid from their tanker truck and move on. We fired them after a month and brought on Greenwise. The first thing their representative did was identify all of the plants on our property, as well as every plant in the dogs dinner that was our lawn. Over the next year and a half, Greenwise methodically fed and treated our lawn, increasing the overall percentage and health of our grass while scaling back or eliminating unwanted ground cover. Their annual care plan includes periodic, seasonal fertilization, electric or conventionally powered seasonal clean-ups, and an organic grub treatment. When the grub treatment proved only marginally effective, they arranged for a partner to treat our lawn conventionally, which worked well. When our home underwent a renovation/addition project, we asked Greenwise to replace the previous landscaping with plants of our choosing, as well as the turf that had been largely destroyed by construction. They came up with a comprehensive design of native plants, a Flo-well system to mitigate flooding at the back of our yard, a gravel section for our container garden and a patio of drainage pavers to replace the unruly swamp behind our garage. We are completely satisfied with both the lawn care and landscaping services offered by Greenwise, and would recommend them unreservedly.

I am so pleased with Greenwise. Ive been with them for several years for a multitude of reasons. 1) they provide earth-friendly maintenance with mower blades at an appropriate height, 2) they use natural deterrents or growth promoters, 3) the level is service is unparalleled -- I can rely on which day of the week theyll come and they accommodate the busy summer gathering season and can reschedule me if need be. They also let me know when theyre coming for special treatments like fertilization so I can be sure to have my dog inside, not roaming the yard to possibly escape. Theyve recommended beautiful landscape plans which were implementing incrementally. Native plants are all doing great and thriving here. They also put in some underground outlets for our downspouts and that keeps water away from my foundation. Couldnt be more satisfied.

Greenwise did an excellent job with our landscaping project. Marcos oversaw the planning of the project and had great suggestions, and the team who did the work, led by Pedro, were very professional and accomplished the work in excellent time. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

We have been using Greenwise for years. We prepay for fertilizaton, seeding, aeration, mosquito treatments, and weekly mowing. Marcos is our client rep and I couldnt be happier with him! I have asked him for input on multiple occasions and he always has unique and beautiful ideas. Sometimes I have Greenwise do the work, and sometimes I do it myself, but Marcos has been there for just about everything! Greenwise put in a dry river bed and drainage as well - years ago. Because of that, my yard has always dried out quickly and it looks great! I would recommend Greenwise (and Marcos) 100%!

I contacted Greenwise for a spring clean up and mulch work. After having someone out to view my property in early March I was told the scheduler would reach out to schedule my services for end of March, early April. No one emailed or called me, I then had to repeatedly contact them via email and voicemails until someone finally called me back. I was promised someone would come do all of my work the following Thursday. No one showed up nor called (wasn t a weather issue as it was 8 days of sunshine and 70 s). I called Thursday evening to ask what happened they promised my work would be done Friday morning. No one showed up or called. I called the office late afternoon on that Friday and they promised me someone would come out the following week after explaining the situation of their team promising and not following through they miraculously found a team to start my work that afternoon. A team showed up and spent about 45 minutes working on my yard and an equal time smoking cigarettes next to their truck. I was then told they would be back the following Monday to finish my work. It has been three weeks since that Friday afternoon and not a single person has reached out or responded to my calls or emails but had the capacity to bill me for a full spring clean up without doing any of the work. I would not recommend them to anyone looking to have any service done. Horrible communicators, horrible work, horrible experience.

Greenwise has cared for our lawn for quite awhile now. We have huge grounds here at Oak Court Condominiums, Evanston and find working with their crews and management to be good listeners and carefully tend to our requests. They are very knowledgeable and take time to explain and answer our questions. They recently mulched our flower beds and hedges. After we lost several trees to storms and fungus, she helped us figure out what replacement trees would be a good fit and could be sourced at the large sizes we were looking for. The crew is always friendly and careful in their work. We had a lot of landscaping work done last year (with Christophe), and several days a week passersby comment on how gorgeous the plantings are. Brennan and his team did a fantastic job designing and then installing largely new landscape and a new cobble stone walk. He reused existing plants where it made sense and identified great additions. I couldn t be happier.

Quite disappointed in our experience with Greenwise overall. While we were looking to improve our lawn after purchasing a new house, we feel that they oversold us on the number of fertilizer, grub preventative, and seed combinations. In the span of our contract with them, they came to the property multiple times, however, when here only stayed for a maximum of five minutes. Within this time, they sprinkled some seed down but often in random patchy places. We were then charged a disproportionate amount for the services performed. This unfortunately did not improve our lawn after about a year of services, and we ve cancelled our contract due to the cost.

I asked Greenwise to redo basically my whole front garden bed, including the removal of some hugely overgrown arborvitaes. Not only did Marcos team do an excellent job, but it was done in record time! I love that they only use organic compost as fertilizer. Marcos is also very creative and worked with me to create a garden plan we both loved. Great work Greenwise!

I ve been a Greenwise customer for several years. In fact, I was a customer way back when the company was brand new. I left Greenwise for a few years and came back because of their commitment to developing beautiful lawns AND saving the environment. The link between toxic lawn chemicals and cancer is real and has been documented. I won t expose my children and dogs (not to mention the planet) to the chemical overload that is so common on the North Shore (and everywhere). Over the years the Greenwise staff have provided excellent service. From customer care (Josh and Justin) to work in the field, the staff are outstanding! And the crews are not only skilled, they are kind and uber responsive to my requests. Give Greenwise a try! You ll get a beautiful lawn without use of toxic chemicals!!!

The team at Greenwise Organic Lawn Care were great to work with from start to finish! Gannon (designer) listened to us and helped us create a seating area that fit in with the existing hardscape of our yard. When we changed the design slightly Gannon adapted the plan. The team worked their magic and in two days created a lovely patio space big enough for our Adirondack chairs and fire table. We are enjoying our outdoor space and look forward to continuing to work with Greenwise in the future to bring our yard vision into reality.

I can t say enough how much Greenwise cares for our property. The time, detail and overall care and concern for not only the property, but our pets as well. Their concern for using only products that are people and pet friendly was one of the driving points to our choice. There are lots of services to choose from, but if you are concerned for the environment, your family and your fur buddies as well as a great looking lawn, Greenwise is the answer.

I ve had lawn services for over 10 years. Those landscapers were self-taught, inexpensive, and unprofessional to the point of not answering phone calls. Their knowledge of grass and soil consisted of weekly mowing. Schedules were unreliable and they failed to communicate changes or perform the duties they said they would. Greenwise is highly professional and it s workers are skilled in grass and shrub management. They have done what they ve said they would. They re highly reliable and responsive. And they re much more expensive than those landscapers I ve had in the past. But they re entirely organic and eco-friendly. Their mowers are either electric or fueled by propane. We have dogs and do not want harmful chemicals on our grass that they walk and lie in. I firmly believe you get what you pay for. And too often cheap costs more in the long run. I ve been very happy with Greenwise so far and highly recommend them.

Updating my review - long overdue. We hired them for snow removal in 2020. During the 2 worst snowstorms, they left us high and dry, despite repeated calls and assurances that someone would be out in a matter of hours. Our property sat for 2 days snowed in. We did not renew our contract. I dont like to leave negative reviews, but we were assured excellent customer service, and did not receive it. Plus, we were billed for days they didnt even come out. I share this only bc I dont want someone else to get stuck like we did.

The redbud tree and 3 Iroquois chokeberry shrubs that Greenwise delivered were in excellent shape and larger than I expected. Their team did a wonderful job planting them and cleared the area nicely before adding the mulch as well. Im so pleased with the new plantings and appreciate the responsiveness of the Greenwise staff throughout the process.

We have been very happy with the Greenwise team. Our yard and garden look great and their crews are professional, courteous, helpful, and nice. As a parent with young boys, I never have to worry about them playing in the yard. We ve been using Greenwise for 3 years now and each year the yard looks better.

Highly recommend the Greenwise team. They were very professional (full team on site every day and checking in with us), timely (actually exceeded project timeline) and knowledgeable (did a great job working with our thoughts but incorporating their knowledge on shade, local plants, etc.).

Greenwise did an excellent job replacing landscaping on our property with a nice new design and efficient installation. It has been over two years and it looks terrific. On top of this, I feel they did it for a very fair price. What I also like is they stand behind their work - they ensure you are completely satisfied. We had a few yews that did not do so well, and although it may have been our fault in how we watered them, they replaced them under warranty with no questions asked. Followed up with us a year later to see how everything was doing. I would recommend them highly - many companies out there to choose from - Greenwise is outstanding.

We have used Greenwise for years for lawn maintenance and have been incredibly happy because of their timeliness and how respectful they are. My wife and I moved into a new house with a very weedy lot that had probably never been green grass before. We were looking for a green solution that wouldnt use harmful chemicals, since we have a toddler who wants to be outside all the time. Greenwise uses safe stuff that has worked well to make our yard beautiful. They helped us get rid of weeds and to grow grass where none would grow before. They use a natural mosquito repellent thing that seems to help, too. Greenwise stands behind their work. We had them do some grading on a dip in our front yard. The first time they did it, the dip wasnt totally eliminated. We mentioned it to them and sent a photo. They came back with a whole team the next day and took care of it completely, at no extra charge. That is the kind of thing that makes me want to keep working with a business forever. I hired Greenwise for snow removal for a 50-unit Evanston townhome association. The property is a highly challenging complex in that there is very little common are to deposit snow. Luckily, my sales and service team assigned to our business provider creative solutions to this challenge and other obstacles. They also are extremely responsive to needs of the association and are able to adapt process when needed. I highly recommend their services and know you re in great hands!

I ve been a happy seasonal customer for 3 years. This season, had a separate project to create a garden for bird feeders in an area where a tree had been removed. Marcos provided guidance and practical suggestions. Team of 3 was efficient and cordial and Marcos worked with them. It s going to be a lot easier to fill and maintain feeders and birdbaths with the new flagstone paths, and I have new areas for plantings in the spring. Good people to work with!

We used Greenwises services several times in the past. The projects always went smoothly. For our last project in June 2022, they again were professional and attentive. we had Gannon design with us a new plant layout in the front of our home. We had evergreens for ever and they where half dead and time to be removed but we where not going to replace them with just evergreens again. Our new design included Service Berry tree, viburnums, hydrangeas, Japanese grasses and barberry bushes and then 9-bark. They finished with a beautiful dirt/mulch compound for the plantings. Their staff cleaned up everything, watered after planted and left us with the new look we had thought of 3 years ago. Highly recommended.

Greenwise created a stone-walk and native plantings garden on one side of the house. The work is beautiful! We absolutely love the outcome and the design. We recently used Greenwise for a rather large residential landscape/garden installation (as well as using them for our weekly mowing and landscape maintenance needs). Brennan from Greenwise was great to work with throughout the design and installation process. He really understood our vision from the very first meeting and made sure that the end result was exactly what we wanted. He continually offered helpful suggestions and recommendations as we progressed through the design and installation process. He and his team communicated throughout and made sure both that we knew what was going on and that the work was completed within our goal timeframe. The installation crew was also fantastic to work with. They were professional, efficient, knowledgeable, willing to offer suggestions based on their experience when we needed them, and left the yard clean after the work was completed. Overall we are very pleased with the project and with Greenwise overall. We cant wait to see how the garden fills in as the summer progresses.

The company does good work. However, some services are automatically renewed the following year. I had Greenwise mulch my yard in 2020, and the service was automatically performed again in 2021. I was emailed about this, but believe that you should be verbally contacted before the company goes ahead with a $1,000+ service to ensure that you want it. The renewal agreement was in the fine print on the agreement and not pointed out by the company representative who sold the mulching service. Very shady business practices for a local company that otherwise does outstanding work.

From Austin working with me on revising the quotes a half dozen times, to Gannon managing the project and Javier and his crew for doing the work, all were professional, responsive and they created an amazing Native garden well enjoy for years to come. Our front lawn did not survive this past summer and we did not get any answers from our lawn care company as to why. We called Greenwise and they provided us with a complete analysis of the issues that caused our problems. We had them resod the lawn and it looks great. Looking forward to working with them next year to keep it looking that way.

Greenwise helped to level out our backyard after construction, rebuild our brick patio and walkway, build raised beds, lay sod, and prepare the soil for planting. Their work was super efficient and everything was meticulously done.

You pay a premium for organic lawn care and you expect to see some results. The previous owners did not take care of their lawn and we had our work cut out for us. We hired Greenwise and our lawn looked exactly the same a year later. There was still a ton of weeds, crabgrass, etc. You name it, we had it. We wasted a lot of money on nothing, we ended up hiring another local landscaper to cut our lawn and Turfcare to take care of our weddings and seeding and now we are seeing a huge difference. Dont waste your time or money.

I give Greenwise the highest rating that I can. I am an avid environmentalist and have never used any chemicals on my lawn, though it was obvious to anyone who walked by. My lawn and garden were an embarrassment. If I had some before and after pictures, Id love everyone to see the difference Greenwise has made. Two of my neighbors were so impressed that they now are using Greenwise. This is in addition to the fact that everyone at Greenwise is professional, responsive to any concerns that I might have, and completely committed to being green.

We have used Greenwise for years for many services including weekly lawn care, landscaping and seasonal clean ups and cannot recommend them highly enough. They do a beautiful job with so much attention to detail, their crew members are friendly, hard working and reliable and I love that I know my kids are safe playing in the yard because they are so committed to using only the safest, most environmentally friendly products. When I have called into the office about anything everyone I have talked with has been incredibly kind, courteous and knowledgeable as well.

Our landscape designer, Sandro, was very knowledgeable, had great ideas, communicated clearly and kept us informed throughout the project. Sandro used many native plants in our design, which were selected to attract pollinators (bees and butterflies) and positioned to ensure even blooming throughout the year. We had many self-inflicted change orders and Sandro was nimble enough to accept the changes and keep the project moving. The team was very professional and respectful and did a good job maintaining distance during the COVID pandemic. Our new yard looks spectacular!

I cannot say enough about the service that we got from Greenwise from start to finish! The attention on what was needed for our home was impeccable. Mark was with us every step of the way. The men who worked tirelessly for 4 days were so respectful of us and our space. They never brought a piece of machinery into our yard. Everything was done totally by hand. Greenwise completely transformed the exterior of our home. We hired Greenwise for a frontyard and backyard landscaping and front walk/patio project for our home in Winnetka and could not be more pleased with the result. We had a small job of digging weeds and their nasty roots from our side yard where nothing will grow but weeds. Plus they had to remove and haul away dirt to prepare the area for 3 deep rubber mulch and weed prevention garden cloth, keeping the grade at the proper level. They did an awesome job and cleaned the area very well. We will be hiring them for our next project in the spring

Really important to us to have as environmentally clean lawn care as we can. Weve been very happy with Greenwise and their efforts to be as responsible as possible.

Sorely disappointed. I asked Greenwise to clear an area of my yard of ground cover and add mulch. They came and did a very small area that was not what I have originally asked them to do. They stated they would come back and do the job I had asked them to do without extra charge which they never did in spite of several calls. The bill was ridiculously high for the job. In the end they knocked off just a little $ but totally not worth it. Paid it just to be done with them. Not at all what I expected. I dont normally write negative reviews but felt compelled this time. Wont be using them again.

Greenwise did an excellent job maintaining our yard this year. Every Tuesday after they leave it s like a fresh hair cut but for our yard. Highly recommend their services.

UPDATE: The owner responded directly to me, cleared up the balance, gave me an additional refund, and came out today with a crew to put down more mulch to even out the coverage. He apologized for the miscommunications and/or lack of communication. I feel better about this company now. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE IF YOU HAVE FLOWER BEDS YOU CARE ABOUT. My entire property is flower beds. Im a little particular about them. I decided to give Greenwise a try for fertilization/mulch, since they say they are Organic. I told them I wanted them to do the work WHILE I WAS HOME. I gave them dates Id be home. They first tried to come BEFORE those dates (while I was out of town), then they showed up 1 day AFTER those dates and started working WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE. When I ask for mulch to be laid, I dont expect the crew to touch anything, just put down mulch. Instead they weeded a bed first, meaning they pulled any plant that was less that 2 inches tall, including ground cover I had just planted the previous spring. Luckily, I had not left yet for my trip and stopped them from doing that to any other beds. They SAID they would replace the plants they accidentally pulled. However, the final bill showed no credit for the plants I subsequently bought myself, nor did they ever contact me to bring new plants. And they didnt finish the job in that one day, so they returned again without prior notice on a day when half the back yard was covered with a tree branch that had fallen. The mulch in the back yard looks uneven at best. There are places that dont even look like mulch was put down. However, several of my flagstones were completely covered. Really? I paid the full bill (which wasnt cheap) MINUS $100 (the cost of the ground cover I bought myself to replace what had been weeded). I wrote right on the bill that I was deducting $100 for replacement plants. No phone call, no email, but I just received another statement in the mail today which shows a balance of $100 due. This is NOT Customer Service. The communication was horrible and the completion of the job was average.I will never use this company again, based on this experience.

Three strikes and youre out! I first used Greenwise in 2015 (?) just after purchasing a home and needed some clean-up. They did an okay job but thankfully my mom happened to be at my house because they started removing items (ie milkweed) that were never discussed to be removed. I then used Greenwise in 2018 to do a larger landscaping job. The end result turned out great, but getting it scheduled was HORRENDOUS. Giving them one last chance, I requested a spring clean-up this year. Marc never responded to my email request, so I called them. The person providing me a quote was very responsive and friendly. However, when it came time to do the work, is when it all went downhill. First, they showed up unannounced, didnt really have any idea what they were supposed to be doing. I appreciate trying to fit me in your schedule, but not if you dont know what youre doing - what would have happened if I wasnt around? Second, there is a leaf blower ordinance in Evanston - and apparently this Evanston based company doesnt like to adhere to it. It took three people to get the crew to stop. Third, after three visits because they continued to not complete the work, the work quoted and accepted is still not complete. I asked for a discount for services not rendered, of which they refused - let us come back to complete the work NO THANKS! Bill paid in full, will not be giving them another chance. The organic lawn care mission is wonderful - the follow through and service missteps are not.

Greenwise did a full landscape design and install for my house in Chicago, and it looks fantastic. Dave, our designer, had an excellent vision for the space, incorporated our feedback and ultimately produced a masterpiece. This was part of a larger project involving several contractors, and Greenwise was by far the most professional, prompt, courteous, and effective. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping work.

NEVER TRUST this company! In my opinion/experience, they did a Bait and Switch tactic with me when I was looking for a quotation! I contacted Greenwise the first week of October for a quotation/contract on snow removal services for my apartment building this year. I met with Mark (the previous owner) who was pleasant and gave me several options for how to deal with my needs. The option I selected was a 10-pack solution where you buy 10 clearings at a time. This would allow me to budget on a per occurrence basis and not pay for the entire season up front. I thought the price was fair and I contacted Greenwise to have contracts completed for both of my buildings the very next day. Two weeks (and several calls later) I was finally presented with a contract for approval/payment. The contract that was presented was not a 10-pack but two different options that were season long. One was TWICE the price I had been quoted and the 2nd was FOUR TIMES! I spoke with Mark and he said that the new owner, Austin Hall, surprised him by not allowing him to live up to his commitment. Mark was apologetic and told me that since he sold the company in January, several things had changed with the company including, apparently, communication that he took pride in having open communications with both his customers and his staff. I expressed that I would like to give Austin a chance to live up to the initial commitment and have him call. Austin called and after speaking with him, it became apparent that his grasp of customer service is not equivalent to the previous owner. Additionally, during the discussion it became clear that either Mark or Austin was not telling the truth to me. Specifically, during my meeting with Mark, I was told that the option that I chose was something that they have done for years and that he had signed up other customers for the 10-pack this year. Austin told me that they were no longer offering this program to ANY customers this year. For all of the great reviews that this company has had in the past, I believe it is all due to the hard work of Mark (the previous owner). With my 25+ years of business consulting, I predict that this company, under the ownership/management of Austin Hall, will not exist for very long. I suggest you RUN AWAY from Greenwise Organic Lawn Care.

This is the fourth year that weve commissioned Greenwise for a winter planter, and we look forward to the color and stunning highlight for our entrance for the winter season. This years winter planter was installed late Wednesday afternoon, and looks even more spectacular in the daylight. Many thanks to Tim and Mike for their creative artistry and for truly enhancing the entry to our home. We also appreciate their working with our requests, and Tim coming to personally make sure this happened.

We have had Greenwise take care of our lawn and natural plantings the past three years. We like knowing that environmentally friendly methods are being used. Theres been a big improvement in the health and appearance of everything. And, whenever weve needed a consultation or have had a question, Marc and his team have been very responsive.

This past spring it became very apparent that my husband and I could not keep up with our yard work. As May moved into June our front and back yards kept getting worse. I started looking for a company who could come in and do a massive spring (or early summer) clean up. After calling six companies and getting only two positive responses, Greenwise was the only company that actually followed through and came to give us an estimate. And, then, they were the only company to actually keep an appointment with us. Mike and Brian looked at all that needed to be done then gave us an estimate for the massive clean up, cutting the lawn weekly, and fertilizing the lawn. Then we started scheduling those services. Our property has always been one to admire. My husband and I both love gardening and we added annuals with lots of color to the front and back yards each Memorial Day with. My husband took great pride in his lush, green lawn. That is not how things looked this spring. Our yards were overgrown and full of weeds. We have a small pond and 8 foot stream in the back yard and you couldnt see either. It was very depressing after all the years we had been one of the best yards on the block. When the Greenwise team finished the initial clean up we were so pleased. I felt a weight lifted from me. And since that day Greenwise has kept our property looking great. Though we didnt plant our usual annuals this year because we were already in July, the mulch made out flower beds weed free and looking clean. We highly recommend Greenwise, not only for what they did for us but also for the entire Greenwise staff....from the crew that did our clean up, to the crew that comes to cut our lawn and fertilize, to the office staff. I love the fact that Greenwise use organic products in my garden. We grow vegetables, and I am not concerned about have chemicals around. Plus, they do a great job, their employees are all very nice, and their communication is fantastic. We are extremely happy with our choice of Greenwise Lawn Care. We have used them for a couple years now, and have also tried out other places. Greenwise has our lawn looking the absolute best compared to other companies (both more expensive than GW and some less). They are very responsive. When we have a weed situation to address they are on it. When we expressed early in the season we wanted a lovely, lush, green lawn they got it to that point. And quickly provide quotes for add on services that we decided we need during the year (mulch, tree removal, etc). And most importantly I dont worry about any chemicals being added to my lawn. Also, I feel like their pricing is very fair. I have met with and interviewed many lawn companies. Unfortunately the very cheap $20/mow are too inconsistent and dont leave you lawn looking healthy. And the one year I paid $1,000/month our lawn look the worst. I understand Greenwise isnt free, but for us its worth every penny.

This company works with the customer and Earth-care in mind. They follow through with problems and are immediately helpful through email or phone. We have a beautiful new front lawn now and our front yard beds are looking good with brick paver edging.

I called for snow removal. It took days for them to tell me they couldnt do it. They did call back.

I often recommend Greenwise to neighbors and friends. I love that the products they use do no harm to the environment. My lawn was a mess with many different weeds. They explained that it would take a few years for their method to work, but eventually by feeding the grass, it would get rid of the weeds. It took about 3 years, but now I have a beautiful, healthy lawn with hardly any weeds. And I can feel good about not dumping harmful chemicals into the environment.

I have been extremely pleased with Greenwise. My grass is healthier than it has ever been and it even grows underneath the large tree in the front yard. I love the fact that my grandchildren can play on the lawn and I know that they are not being contaminated with harmful pesticides and products. Yes, they are more expensive than many landscaping services but I feel the organic nature and their understanding of the science of what they do outweighs the extra cost.

Long story short - my car got stuck in the snow in my alley and no tow truck was willing to try to get in to pull in out. I called Greenwise to see if they could plow the alley so I could get out. Marc Wise was very nice on the phone and assured me they could help. He came out promptly (impressive considering it was a very busy day for plows) and pushed my car out himself! So kind and friendly, I will definitely be calling this Spring for landscaping! Thanks Marc!

Marc and the whole team at Greenwise are incredible. Both the work they perform and their knowledge of sustainable practice are invaluable. Marc came out for a consultation the day after I called, and we talked through all of the work we needed done. Our yard was a wreck when we bought the house, but that did not deter Marc. We needed the front and back yards regraded, an old concrete walkway removed, a flagstone patio reset, a new paver walkway installed, new planting beds and a new tree planted. He thought it would take between 5 and 6 days of work. We agreed on a budget, and Marc worked with us to find deals on the tree and perennials we needed, and he also secured overstock pavers at a great price. Throughout the whole project, Marc called me at least twice a day to check in and give me updates. Marcs team came a few weeks later and made short work of our long list. Marc pushed to keep all the work to 5 days. We literally could not be any happier with their work. The patio is perfect, we love our tree, the walkway is a show stopper, and the sod is so nice our neighbors have hired Marc to do theirs too!

Marc came over to our house for a free estimate on a few projects for the house that included a large flower garden, new sod and leveling on the backyard, and more. We were blown away by his ethics, customer service, ideas generated/brainstormed, helpfulness, and willingness to work with us and our budget. His invoice was broken down step by step, and very easy to read. We had about a full day of work, and Marc was at our place first thing in the morning with the rest of his team. Everyone was very polite, friendly, and not once made any of us feel uncomfortable. Very pleased. Marc provided us with some ideas to apply to our projects without enforcing anything, so that allowed us to do our own research and choose from there. In the end, we ended up going with all of Marcs suggestions and we love it. In short: We highly recommend Greenwise, we couldnt be more pleased with everything, and we really felt that Marc actually cares and understands about the company and the customers. Marc sent Matt Petersen, landscape designer, to help us when another landscaper did not come through for us. In a short time on a small budget, Matt designed and installed a native plants garden that is already blooming with interest.
