Phenomenal experience working with this company. Ethical, responsive, talented, and knowledgeable. I used this company to build a stoop and front path and wouldn t hesitate to call them in the future for other projects. They did a great job all around.

It was a joy to watch your two amazing flower bed designs come together in our backyard last Fall, and it was great to see how efficiently the crew dealt with removing the old, buried brickwork that ran through the middle of the beds, while raising and extending the edging brickwork. I thoroughly enjoyed watching how quickly they worked together, like a precision drill team, to arrange, install and water the plantings, while putting down the mulch to complete the look. It makes me smile every time I see how your suggestions for the types of plants, their arrangement, and the color palette all turned out. I am so very pleased!

Three years ago Natures Perspective Landscaping designed and implemented a garden in the front of our home. I wanted a stone pathway in the middle of it connecting our front porch to the side gate. The breeze blows and our front looks like it is in motion and I have a beautiful path to walk through the middle. Exactly what I asked them to do, with color and blooms timed exquisitely. It is amazing!! We had them spring-ready the garden last year and are scheduled for this March. Super excited to see the beauty this spring. We continue to get compliments on the job that they did. Were delighted with the gorgeous prairie -- formerly our boring front yard (Yawn...) that NP and we have been collaborating to create. First planted 3 years ago, it gets better and better, richer and fuller and more varied with each passing year ... plus, its much more environmentally sound than all that grass was ... We are a repeat customer with NP over the many years we have lived in Evanston and now, Glenview. They are a pleasure to work with. We worked with Tina and she was very knowledgeable and responsive. We did not have a large project but she devoted her time and attention to us like each project we have done was a big project. We like to do some of the structures and plants ourselves as a hobby (diyers) so we did appreciate that they let us do certain parts of the projects ourselves and combined their labor and expertise with our ideas as well. They were so very patient and answered our many questions. We also did a lot of price comparisons (as diyers) and found for the quality and the time and care they put in their plant inventory for the prices they charge, although not inexpensive, are very worth it! Their plants (and trees especially) thrive better and look amazing over the years. They also offer a great 2 year warranty that is above the industry standard. Their work crews are attentive, careful, prompt, neat and have so much experience and are perfectionists. They get a great big green thumbs up!

I have only good things to say about our experience with Natures Perspective, and the service and support we received from the team and our day-to-day contact, Britta Franke. While we were aware of the company, we began working together after I received ringing endorsements from two friends in the area. The project itself included a full overhaul of the front, side and back yards, along with sizeable hardscaping projects in both the front and back. Their patience in working with us through the design phase, their ability to listen to and solve for problem areas we had in the yard, and their ability to work alongside other contractors we brought into the effort (fencing, irrigation, windows) all created a strong degree of comfort throughout the process. Britta set expectations early with us, was attentive to aspects of the project that needed further attention, and was honest and fair throughout related to pricing. Never have I worked with a company that actually decreases the invoice cost at the end of the project due to over-estimates in certain areas. The added bonus of the warranty on plants for two years made working with them a no-brainer and made me someone who will whole-heartedly recommend them to others going forward.

I have used Nature s Perspective for many projects over the years, and they always do a fantastic job! Tim, Angel, and their crew are always professional, responsive, on time, and the quality if their work us always great. We contacted them originally because the last company we used, a very expensive, high end company, installed plants that began to die a year or two after installation. We noticed our neighbors using Nature s Perspective, and they were much more reasonably priced. Over the years I have used them to do various projects and have probably at this point had them landscape the entire house. Tim drew up a plan for us, and we have slowly been installing trees, bushes, ground cover, and perennials over the years. Their plants are great quality and always establish well and thrive. Last year they resodded our entire front and back yard with and it looks great. Most importantly, our front and back gardens are now looking beautiful. Angel and his crew did an amazing job clearing away dead trees and bushes and installing all the new plants. I cannot say enough great things about Tim and Angel and their crew. Quick, professional, and very knowledgeable. The best!

Tim Benz has worked closely with the Levy Senior Center Foundation for the last three years. His help has included designing, implementing, and maintaining gardens at the Levy Center in Evanston. He is responsive, the crews are professional, and gardens are flourishing. He has also gone beyond his responsibilities and helped us in a very time consuming planning of our new vegetable gardens. He is respectful, patient, and knowledgeable. I would totally recommend him and his crew to anyone who is looking for a landscaper.

For the last 5-6 months, I have had the pleasure of working with Tom Klitzke, President and CEO of Nature s Perspective Landscaping. Tom has been uber-considerate while our condo thought through redoing our courtyard and front yard property, locally in Evanston, IL. Tom was born to do this work. He is observant, considerate, analytic, strategic, and smart. He is invested in his projects and the success of plans for all involved. He has a consistently patient and pleasant demeanor. He works and partners with clients explaining and taking the time to explore issues as well as investing, feeling pride with and celebrating the enjoyment of work well done. To put it simply, Tom walks and talks the language of an extraordinary Landscaper and business owner. Stage 1 was a more-than-worthwhile endeavor. After a year of rotating propane tanks to keep our portable fire-table going, we contacted Nature s Perspective about building a permanent one connected to our gas line. This was a complex project with multiple professionals involved. Tim Benz made sure every detail was planned out perfectly before the crews ever came and everything went great. Jorge s crew did the most amazing job! The areas that had to be dug-up to run the gas line are completely undetectable now & the upgraded fire feature is incredible! During the install I had a question & rather than having me explain over the phone, Jordan, who supervised our project, drove straight over to take a look & answer my question. We couldn t be more pleased with the finished project, but from the earliest steps, and throughout the entire process, we had peace of mind & confidence working with Nature s Perspective! Admittedly, there was a considerable wait-time, but that was disclosed to us even before we started discussing the design. Once they started, the project was completed in just 3 days. Workmanship like theirs doesn t grow on trees & having perfectionists like Jorge & his crew handling our project made it all Worth the Wait!!

Originally contacted multiple landscaping services after we moved to the suburbs from downtown Chicago. Britta (landscaping designer and project manager) responded with very quickly and professionally to set up an appointment. She was timely and detailed in her walk through and listened to our ideas and provided feedback with her recommendations and knowledge regarding plant life and our area. For a minimal amount, she created design plans including computer-generated images of what the space would look like with her ideas. We were very impressed with Britta and her attention to detail that we moved forward with their proposal. We have completed 2/3 of our projects and looking forward to continuing the project in the fall. Not only has Britta been responsive to our emails and adjustments but both crews that have worked on the project have been kind, quick and professional. I defiantly recommend working with Natures Perspective and ask for Britta!

Our condo building uses Natures Perspective for our maintenance. We also use them for a master plan and landscaping improvements. Their staff is very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. They consider grading and water issues in addition to making our grounds beautiful. I highly recommend them. Tina K.

Communication was terrible and I spent nearly 2 months chasing them for any information or updates. Two early site visits were followed by excuses endless chasing via phone and email, and even being referred to a manager ... still nothing. Their lack of professional courtesy has wasted my opportunity to complete my yard project within this season. Your response below is another excuse. The COVID pandemic does not affect your ability to return a call just once in 7 weeks. Pay attention to the consistency in the bad reviews on Angies list; almost exclusively they call out poor communication. We get that youre busy, and the customers you do help seem happy, but have the decency to not just ignore those projects that dont interest you.

We have worked with Natures Perspective for the past four years on a variety of projects as well as weekly landscape maintenance services. We have never been anything but delighted with their work. The teams are talented, conscientious, and professional. Our Landscape Designer & Project Manager, Timothy Benz, has been amazing and keeps everything running smoothly. I can t say enough good things about working with Tim and the planting crew at Nature s Perspective. We needed out backyard to function better for three little kids and two dogs...and for two full time working parents who don t exactly have green thumbs. Tim listened and came Up with an awesome plan that makes world of difference for us. He saved money by transplanting many perennials we already had which was huge for us. The crew who installed the plantings and sod were wonderful hardworking, kind, thorough and left the site cleaner than they found it.

Since NPL starts taking care of my front and backyard, they look better and better as time goes by. The office members are professional, informative and decently responsive, and the field workers also do very decent jobs and are courteous. I can read how much the owner and the members care about the job from the maintenance updates. (if you are already working with them and have been receiving maintenance updates, you do want to read them) I feel lucky and am very happy that I found NPL and get to work with them. Thank you!

It was a pleasure to work with Natures Perspective on both landscaping and hardscaping for our home. They have great ideas and accommodate customers ideas as well. The work and products are high-quality. We especially love our new back walkway. NP has also recently done some additional planting in bare spots from last years landscaping, covered under the warranty.

Im very happy with the way our project turned out. Natures Perspective replaced our ugly old front stoop with a beautiful new stoop and walkway with lights and gorgeous landscaping. The price was reasonable and when we saw how many people worked on the project and how much time they spent we felt it was an extremely good value. Designer Britta Hoiland was wonderful to work with. I loved the drawings she made for us so we could visualize the final product before she started, and I appreciated her patience when we made a few changes along the way. We hope to work with Britta again in the future!

Landscape designer and crew did a great job of finding a solution for our sump pump lawn flooding problem and created an updated beautiful landscape plan for our yard. Crew was on time and respectful-did a great job of clean up after installation.

UPDATE: MORE AWESOMENESS THAN EVER! Im doing two reviews for Natures Perspective because they are just that awesome. Heres what happened: we planned for the first phase of our project this summer, and you see the photo. Oasis, step 1 was rocking. We were so happy with it that we decided to do Oasis, step 2 this summer as well. Spoiler alert: its absolutely brilliant. Were even happier than we were before. The award for best director, or landscape architect, goes to Tim Benz again, for listening to our North Shore waffling and our thoughts, then rolling out a really cool step 2, which is the first step of the greens. Patience and fortitude should be Tims middle names. Roberto, the foreman, and Jonny and Anselmo--remember them--rolled in and worked their butts off to put together some amazing greens around the patio and fireplace. It looks amazing! Do exactly what they tell you to do, and itll all be great! Next were on to step three, the decorative stuff. Poor Tim. He has no idea what hes in for, but he will do something amazing as he always does. Original review for step one: I cannot begin to say how fantastic its been working with Natures Perspective. Its COVID, and were not going on vacation, so we decided wed turn our small and dated Evanston backyard into a place we could love and enjoy. We looked all over the place, and finally came to Natures Perspective. Theyd been recommended to us by numerous people, so we gave it a shot. Enter Tim Benz, the mystery man in the mask. He showed up, we talked from a proper social distance, we told him what we wanted to do and gave him a general budget. He came back with something wonderful: a firepit, a seating/dining area, new sod, and the beginnings of phase II, the greenery. OK, at this point everything was literally on paper. We waited for the three weeks until, finally, it was our turn. The crew showed up, and they were masters of their craft. They were fast, professional, and paid extreme attention to detail. First they did the dirt work, then the hardscape, and then the sod, all during a crazy heat wave. These guys showed up like the Ghostbusters, ready to kick some butt and take names: Ray, Victor, Anthony, and (argh, I forgot his first name but his first initial and last name rock), J. Cruz; Luis, Roberto, Gabriel, Raul, and Carlos. Every day they cleaned up the work area. Every morning they showed up and made it even better. Would I use these guys again? Absolutely. No doubt about it. Thanks to all of them for helping us make a family space.

After twelve years with the same lawn service I switched this year to Natures Perspective because I observed who had the beautiful yards in the neighborhood and whose crews were doing the work. Natures Perspective!! Our yard and gardens look the best theyve looked since we bought the house. The crew is polite and attentive, noticing things that need attention and taking care of them. And in todays COVID environment, they are always wearing a mask to protect themselves and others - and really as a courtesy, I think, to the homeowner and neighbors. My account manager reaches out regularly to check in (account manager - another first for a lawn and garden service). Couldnt be more pleased.

Natures Perspective completed two high quality, well-executed projects to beautify our home (and at the same time keep rainwater away from our foundation): Lovely landscaping of our backyard and a curved, brick walkway leading from the front of our house to a spacious brick patio Natures Perspective designed and installed in the back. Together these projects have created what is essentially a beautiful outdoor family room where we host happy gatherings of friends and family.

This place is worthless even IF they call you back. I m not sure why I ve tried to hire them 3 times only to be turned away for requesting outlandish things like landscape and lawn services.

No one better! We have been through a few different landscaping companies but we have finally settled down with the best around, Natures Perspective! They go above and beyond caring for our property. Ive used Natures Perspective for various projects over the past 20 years at two houses in Evanston. Theyve done a great job with design, plants and anything that involves masonry -- the bone structure of a yard or garden -- and I always look to them as my first choice for any project that I cant do myself.
