Pebble Creek has been great to work with and always takes care of what I need done. The Krogers are a great family and their staff has always been friendly and quick.
I hired PC to put in a front walkway, and irrigation in the back yard. The walkway is beautiful, but there were issues with the irrigation from the beginning. To their credit, PC was very responsive to my questions and concerns. They addressed all of the issues to my satisfaction. I think it is key to be at home when the work is being done , and to stay in communication with the office when you feel something isn't right. They worked with me until I was happy with the results.
Pebble Creek Landscaping just finished a retaining wall for me along the side of my house and it looks fantastic! Willie and his crew did an outstanding job. It's so great to find people who still do craftsmen work today.
Pebble Creek, their staff and crews have been great to work with. The design work is awesome and the follow through has been second to none. If you want the best in the area, you want Pebble Creek.
We hired pebble creek to landscape our backyard and they did great. However, I would not recommend them for irrigation needs. We had a leak, called them to come out, they dug a hole, cut off our water, and didn’t fix the leak. We received a bill for over $300 for them to dig a hole. We explained no materials were used, the technician cut our pipe and left it. We were charged for $50 in materials that were not used. They are refusing to reduce the price. We agreed to pay the initial $125 plus another $85 in labor but they are holding us to the $330 bill. In addition we had to call Hardy plumbing to repair and they actually FIXED it and charged $171. They are nice people but seems their technicians are not well trained and because of that we have to pay.
Ryan is a great guy. His crew laid sod back in Feb. 2023 and we kept having questions due to over watering and a large oak that we removed and he came out several times to address our questions in person and by email. He is very knowledgeable and let us know we had a fungus and how to raise certain low areas of the yard ourselves. We offered to pay him for his time for coming out to answer our questions and he said no. Back in Feb. 2023, he crew did an ok job on the sod, we let them know our concerns and he checked the sod himself and had his crew fix the issues. Great customer service!!
This company / owner overcharges to the max! I'm all about QUALITY and customer service. I felt dismissed whenever I had an issue. A customer should NEVER feel that way. I felt scammed to a degree. However, I invested in my property ( paid crazy expensive landscaping prices & lawn maintenance contract prices) and was expecting better treatment. It's all about the money for sure! I do NOT recommend this company!
UPDATE: The tree they planted was not doing so well. I had some tree experts come look at it. Turns out Pebble Creek did not plant the tree correctly. Piled soil too far up the trunk. I now have to pay the tree experts several hundred to fix it. For a project as simple as "plant a tree" Pebble Creek did zero things right and I am having to get others to fix it. TLDR: Wanted a tree planted. Pebble Creek did it incorrectly (now having to pay someone else to fix), ripped up my sprinkler system, and took multiple additional trips to get the sprinkler fixed. I hired Pebble Creek for what I thought was a pretty easy task for a landscaping company: to plant a single tree. In the lead up, no one asked me where I specifically wanted the tree placed. One day I just noticed spray paint on my lawn for where they were marking things off. Not that big a deal for me personally. I'm not that picky. But for someone else with specifics in mind, it could be a problem. Also, they never asked me to run my sprinklers, and didn't locate the lines. The spot they picked to plant the tree was directly on top of one of the sprinkler lines, and they completely ripped that sprinkler line up. At the time, either they didn't notice, or they did notice and never bothered to tell me. I can't imagine how they didn't notice....? They planted in the winter, so I didn't find out until I ran they sprinkler in the early spring and that zone didn't work. Instead, there was a waterfall of clay colored water running thru the front yard. Stained some of the dormant grass a nice orange. It took a couple of calls and an email to get someone scheduled to come out. "Is this a tree we planted?" "Yes ma'am." "I'll make a note of it." The first guy was supposed to be here at 9. I got a *call* at *9:45* telling me he just left the office. Luckily, I work from home. It would have been a pretty big inconvenience if I had taken time off to be here. He eventually shows up, does a few things, and determines he can't fix it. I would have to get someone rescheduled for the following Tuesday morning. "We planted this tree didn't we?" "Yes sir. You did. It's okay though. Accidents happen." Tuesday morning I get an automated email saying it would actually be Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday afternoon comes and goes without any contact from the office or the workers. Again, not a huge deal for me, just a bit unprofessional. But if I had again taken time off to make myself available, it would have been pretty aggravating and inconvenient. I called the Pebble Creek office around closing time and left a message. I ended up getting a call after hours with an apology and being told I would be the first stop in the morning on Wednesday. Wednesday morning they show up, give me my options, and ask what I want to do. The lady who I am guessing was the supervisor asks "Did we plant this tree?" "Yes ma'am you did." Later, one of the irrigation specialists asks, "Did Pebble Creek do this?" "Yes sir. You did." They get it fixed pretty quickly and, from what I can tell (I don't know sprinklers) it is finally fixed correctly. At least for right now, the sprinklers are back working. A week later, I received an invoice for the repair. After telling at least 4 different people that this was Pebble Creek's fault, they were now asking me to pay for it. I emailed and asked if there must be some mistake. Indeed there was. Even though I had told at least 4 people that Pebble Creek had caused the problem, it somehow got communicated to their billing folks that this was not their fault. No part of this was "smooth" for me, and there was a good deal of headache involved. And it was 100% avoidable if they had just done some really, really basic due diligence to find out where the sprinklers were. Unfortunately they did not. If I have future projects, I'll be going elsewhere. Based on all of the mishaps, it seems too likely that things will go wrong again. To me, it's not worth it to roll the dice.
Absolutely amazing service. Top quality jobs. Highly recommend for all of your landscaping and maintenance needs have been using them for years and they haven t disappointed yet! Polite and professional!
They enjoy blocking roads and impeding traffic so that you can constantly try to not get hit. Then they refuse to take responsibility for their workers causing problems.
Ryan and his team were very professional. He designed and installed new front yard landscaping. He offered a creative solution rather than a cookie cutter design. We now have an array of different shrubs that complement our home. They were on-time and cleaned up everything upon completion.
This company does my neighbors yard. They were picking up sticks in the customers backyard and I asked if I could have some to run through my wood chipper for a small project I was doing. Buster and Corey are top notch guys very professional and well mannered. I highly recommend this crew
Great people!
Took multiple calls to get an appointment. Showed up to appointment and said I would have a quote in a few days via email. Week and a half later with no quote and won t answer office phone or return messages.
This is a thoroughly professional and competent company. They did an excellent job of stone masonry around my gardens and trees. Pricey but you get what you pay for. You get a professional outcome that you can be proud of and a professional installation thats done right. I will be using them again for my next project. The work added beautiful curb appeal to the front of my home.
This is an update form my previous review. Ryan, the owner called and we discussed the issue. We both were able to view the situation form the others point of view. This was welcoming. Based on our conversation, I will try, once again, to utilize this companies services. As I said in the previous review, professionalism goes a long way; and Ryan displayed nothing but the professional, entrepreneurial spirit that all business owners should have. A little professionalism goes along way. I was looking forward to working with this company. I had an appointment scheduled for 16 February for a simple estimate for a shrub removal. I was told that I do not need to be home and that the estimate would be emailed to me. The following day, Wednesday, I called to get the estimate because I had not received it by the email. The lady over the phone apologized and tells me the appointment was not scheduled for Tuesday but Thursday. Strike one. Thursday comes and go. Friday comes and go. There is still no estimate. I called today, on Monday to find out why I have not received the estimate. The Young lady tells me that they could not come out due to all of the rain. She tells me that she sent an email wanting to reschedule. To her credit, I check my email and there it was. Here is her email : Good Morning Mr. Carlie, Due to the rain, we need to reschedule your appointment. Is it possible to move meet tomorrow Friday, February 19th at 12:00 pm? I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you, Administrative Assistant Pebble Creek Landscaping Maybe it is me, but I could not, and I still do not understand how rain can prevent a L-A-N-D-S-C-A-P-E company from driving in the rain for a simple estimate.
A very family friendly atmosphere, great people those Krogers
Great people
Had high hopes for this landscape company. They charge approximately double what other landscape companies do. They touted themselves as professionals and not regular lawn guys (their words). Had to repeatedly remind them of items to complete each trip- which we had agreed upon when I signed contract. Not sure if this has to do with turnover or what, but every single person that s worked on my lawn during several visits this month, claims it s their first week on the job - 4 different guys. No continuity. Glad to be out of my contract. Required too much work following up with these guys during/after each trip.
This company is just the best! Very professional and knowledgeable. They take care of everything and are very responsive to extra requests. I can t recommend them enough!
Best landscaping company around.
Local landscape design and maintenance company. Great service and punctual. Not the cheapest rates but, you get what you pay for.
Great service from even better people!
