B&D lawn & tree care in Eureka

Had to take out a large Tree close to our house and called 2 other tree removal companies before calling B&D. Each of those Companies ended up making 3 appointments with us without ever showing up. No calls, no text message, nothing. They just kept us waiting. So we called B&D and Benjy came over in just a few days, gave us a very fair estimate, and won us over. He and his crew came in and did an excellent job. They were all hardworking and very professional. After the tree was down and gone our yard looked relatively untouched and very clean. We highly recommend this company.

Benjy came out and gave me a quote which was very reasonable to remove two 60 ft spruce trees (one was over 3ft diameter at the base) that were about 10 ft from my house. Also, needed to remove a large 24 inch diameter birch that had a huge branch over my house. Benjy and Rich and the crew (thanks Maggie, Barrett and Jayden) did a great job. They are very conscientious and hard workers. I was particularly impressed with how safely they took down the birch tree piece by piece with ropes to avoid damaging the house. They cleaned up and raked and it looks great. Great people. I will ask them to come back when I have more tree work. Thanks, B&D!

My large maple tree suffered significant damage during last August's duracho. I still have 6 or 8 widow-makers stuck high in the top of this 60 year old tree. I was looking for a reputable tree service to do the work of removing these dangerous branches and contacted B&D via phone. Benji returned my call and came out to my property in Streator to take a look to see how the tree was situated relative to my house & other obstacles, and determine what equipment would have to be used. He gave me a bid but told me I could probably get someone local to do the work for less than he could, given his commute from Eureka. He also gave me an idea of "floor" and "ceiling" bids, of which I should be wary. He refused to take any money for providing me with a bid or his advice, or to even cover the cost of gas for the trip or his time in getting to/from. Wow! Customer Service AND Honesty...you don't find THAT combination very often anymore. I may be able to get the work done less expensively by someone closer to my home, but I'm not ruling out the possibility of scheduling B&D to do the work, since all too frequently, "you get what you pay for." These guys seem professional (I'm not a facebook fan, but check out their page), a real good crew. I only wish they were closer to me! I wouldn't hesitate to use them otherwise.

Despite it being a very busy time, Benjy came to give an estimate the day I called. On the day he and his crew came to do our trimming (because of ice damage), they were very efficient, professional, and thorough, and the price was very reasonable.

B&D did a fantastic job removing 3 of our many walnut trees. They were on time, very protective of our home and yard, completely cleaned up after themselves and were friendly and great to work with. Except for seeing the stumps where the trees were, there is very little evidence that they were here. Stump will be removed using another business that they work with. Such a great job that we will be having them back in the future to remove more of the walnut trees that are overtaking our yard. The price that they charged was very reasonable and they are insured too. Can not say enough good things about them. Give them a call, you will not be disappointed.

Thank you so much for working with us! They have been so awesome to work with. Our tree had a split in it and my husband had to strap it to make sure it wouldn't fall on our house or garage. We couldn't get anyone out quickly. B & D stepped up and was able to take care of it within a week since it was an emergency. And his price was VERY reasonable! I HIGHLY recommend them! Great communication, they knocked this job out. Nicely trimmed up a huge maple tree and a sycamore tree that was over two houses. They have the tools for the job. A lift, chipper, climber, ground crew. They were all very personable as well. They cleaned it all up at the end.
