Reese performed all work as requested. Crew is attentive, and adjust to my needs as requested. In my experience this is a customer service oriented company; returns phone calls, answers emails.

I just love Reese Landscapes. Everyone is very helpful and listen to my concerns about plants. We have had dogs and they always shut the gate when done in our yard.

Exceptional Service! We enjoy having them maintain our properties landscape.

I do not recommend this company. I had a contract with them for a set amount every month. They over billed repeatedly with added charges I did not incur. Also dealing with the office staff was the worst experience. Find another company that is ethical and one you can trust.

Update: We came to a compromise on the bill. Updating rating per agreement. Untrustworthy! I was quoted 1850 for the work I had in mind. The work was performed minus some drip line. I had to call back to get them to finish the dripline as originally described. The guys left, I assumed I d be getting a bill for the 1850 I was quoted. Instead, I received a bill for $3700, more than double of what I was quoted! Never once did I increase the scope of work, nor did anyone communicate that they were over budget. I called the company several times to try to resolve, no one contacted me back. Then I get another bill for over 4k!!! I finally got ahold of someone who was very combative and threatened to come to my house to rip out the irrigation that was put in! Do not trust this company!

I ve used this service for 2 years now, and it is not worth the price. I have a xeriscaped lawn, and I ve been charged $250/quarter for maintenance . Come to find out the other day as I worked from home for the first time since service began that this maintenance is 45 minutes of people walking around with weed whackers. I called the office and asked how long a quarterly maintenance lasts, and I was told 4-5 hours. Great to know that I ve been overpaying for the last 2 years. Even better to know that I should ve been getting 4-5 hours of work and instead got 45 mins. Do NOT trust this company. They are disorganized and are clearly okay with taking advantage of situations/people.

Reese have been doing our weekly maintenance for a couple of years now. They are always quick and courteous. When I have a question or concern, Levi never makes me feel like I am interrupting him, even though I know that I am. He also lets me know if there is a problem that needs to be addressed. I appreciate that. They leave our yard looking great every time!

knowing what I know now I would not recommend this company. We had a new lawn installed last April. Never once did we receive any follow up from Reese on how it went. Had issues this spring with brown spots, clumps of grass missing. Owner told me it was crane fly and to get some bug killer for this. Called to have lawn thatched this spring. It was as if I just raked it myself. I called to voice my displeasure on the results. I was told the owner would come out and seed areas that were bare, of which he did eventually. No cover over the grass seen here put down (as if they were magic beans). I ended up going and getting top soil to cover up the grass seed. Pricing is extremely high for the time they were here. I also had some sprinkler heads adjusted on a separate visit. Once again I received a bill for $150.00 for two people (one was training) who were here for about an hour. In the bill (July Newsletter) there was a flyer offering $25.00 off your bill for a favorable rating on Google Reviews. Needless to say, I did not take the discount. Im done with Reese Landscapes. I will say their employees that do the hard work are polite. Not so much for the office staff. Just stating my experience with Reese Landscapes.

Reese Landscapes installed a new brick patio in my backyard; it is BEAUTIFUL! What a great crew, they were fast and efficient. Reese also took care of starting up my sprinkler system. Again, I am very happy with their work.

We contracted with Reese Landscaping for many years and they provided us the services we requested. Towards the end of our contracting with them they never responded to any emails, or phone calls, and in-person visits arent possible. Do not work with this landscaper if you expect to have solid communication.

When I called to request an estimate on building/installing standing-height garden beds, Mitch came out that day, discussed the project and soon after provided the most cost friendly bid of 5 I received. The crew, led by Jared was friendly, efficient, and kept a well-organized, clean work site and the finished project is perfect! I would recommend Reese highly for your landscape design/build project.

Getting a quote for a large patio paver project was super fast & easy! The business was nice to interact with & the quote seemed very reasonable. We just decided to push off our project but will definitely give Reese Landscapes our business when the time is right.

Loved the service the actual landscapers supplied but the billing and the office are terrible. Never could get my direct bill pay set up correctly resulting in overcharging me, not charging me and then charging me again, requested quotes for winter shutdown were ignored and finally the icing on the cake a letter mailed the day after Christmas telling me they closed their Salem office and we d no longer have service effective the first. Real classy .

Ive had Reese build 2 waterfalls for me. While they do beautiful work, in my cases, the quality just isnt there. In both cases the liner got a leak within a year. The first time I paid them to redo the liner but on the second one Im not willing to pay for a fix and Im not satisfied with their response to my problem. Update: It took a while but Reese Landscapes made things right after all. They fixed my issue but the fix was only to 1/3 of the project. Like I said, it fixed the issue but 2/3 of the project remains at risk in my opinion. It s good to have this running again. I stand by my original post, but I felt the need to update this with the results, they did fix the problem.... Update.... After a few months this waterfall developed yet another leak (as predicted). I didnt even bother telling them because they ignored my last email regarding a problem with a UV light. So I have a $30,000 boat anchor in my backyard thanks to them.

We recently signed up with Reese to take care of some yard care and maintenance - particularly to help us deal with a mass amount of leaves that our tree sheds each year. We are still new to service but can say that the initial clean up was spectacular and so was the follow up. Staff was friendly and they did a thorough job- every nook and cranny was cleaned and free of leaves. Our beds have never looked this good. Will keep you posted on how service continues to go but definitely dont hesitate to call them for a bid!

We had a large tree pruned. The work was completed in a timely fashion, and the crew was upbeat and efficient. The pruned tree looks great!

I had them come out cut some trees down mow my lawns and fluff everything up for me to sell my house. They got out there so quickly and did such a fantastic job. If I ever own a home in the again that needs landscaping I will absolutely use them again.

Now that Mitch has grown company and increased the services offered it is great to see the same values have been maintained from when his dad started the company. They recently repaired and updated my night security light system. The job was done promptly, on time and on budget. Cant ask for anything more than that!

I had this company out to give a bid on landscaping in February and then let them know I was going with another company. While out of State in April, I returned to find a hang tag on my door indicating that they had entered upon my property and sprayed chemicals on my lawn and for moss control, all without my permission or any agreement whatsoever. I called them to tell them they had no business being here. I then received a bill for this for $65. I again called and finally got a call back and was told it was a mistake and they got my name off an old list, though I have never done business with this company. She promised to correct their error and cancel the invoice. I have now received another bill (May 5) in the amount of $270, including the original $65 false bill and now $205 for lawn maintenance. I have no agreement with these people for lawn maintenance or any contract with them whatsoever. They have never been here to do lawn maintenance and, in fact, I dont have a lawn at the moment, as another company has removed the lawn for soil work and eventual sod. How incompetent can you get>?

They were on time and did a great job on my yard. The office was accommodating when I needed to change days for them to do my yard.

This company has the poorest customer service of just about any company I have had dealings with over the last 50+ of home ownership. Failure to return phone calls, failure to respond to messages and materials left at the business office and failure to show-up on-site to discuss problems and, FINALLY, just never coming back to finish the job are some of the issues. They began the job without completing the finalization of the contract so I had no idea what was going on when someone showed up and started building the walk-way with materials we had never discussed. After trying to do the job without the knowledge on HOW to do the job and having to start over 3 times to try to fix what they were doing wrong, they left it. The steps are totally unacceptable. They are of concrete slabs never intended to be used as steps and, most egregious of all, they ARE NOT UP TO CODE. Should we decide to sell our home, were both 75, we would be forced to tear up most of the work Reese did because of code issues. I am disabled and needed a safe way to go approximately 20-25 feet to my small deck and greenhouse. Every trip up and down is really scary because of the concrete steps that are about 11/2 high, just high enough to be a tripping hazard. Reese knew this when the steps were installed and when they just walked off the job instead of doing it properly. This whole discussion doesnt even touch on the upper portion of the project!! It is a mess. They cut off the edge of the upper garden and just left it. There is a 2-21/2 difference between the driveway and the small deck surface. Its a broken arm waiting to happen on a very, very obvious tripping hazard. What recourse do I have? Probably not much. The company has not responded to any of my concerns. I will likely need to hire someone else to fix the poorly planned and poorly executed projected. The LCB and CCB will be getting my complaint. Maybe that will save others from getting such a bad deal.

On a weekly basis, I come home to an impressively mown lawn with barely a leaf on it (& I have leaf droppers!), and the blowing/clean-up is exceptional as well. There is no debris left on any surface of my lawn furniture and the deck, patio, fire pit area and back porch look awesome!

I recently had Reese Landscapes out to start some maintenance on my home. I could not be more pleased with their service - they showed up on time, did great, efficient work, and were very fair across the board. Happy with the business and people I ve met

Always a great group of guys who get the job done fast and always very clean when the job is finished.

Reese sent out a worker to put in a fence panel that was damaged over winter. The panel was not attached properly to the rest of the fence. The work Am was sent back out and only attached one side. Now we are sitting here in our go are with one half of the panel flopping over. So very unhappy and will no use this company again.

Our neighbor hired this company to complete a fence between our two properties.. where should I start? They dumped all the old fence boards, brackets and nails in our driveway, blocking our garage. They never asked or communicated. After a nasty voicemail left on the third day, they removed the debris. The workers told the owner they had asked permission and talked with us, which was a lie. The owner defended them. The fence is a complete joke. Nothing is level and about 90% of the fence was over a foot off the ground, leaving sufficient room for kids and dogs to get under. Half the fence is blocked off and parts are built on a tier. It s hideous and clearly they have never built a fence before. They stomped all of our shrubs, left concrete from new posts all over our sprinklers, left debris from the neighbors yard in ours, and accessed our hose from our porch and left it in the middle of the yard. When I contacted the owner, she defended them and then had the unprofessional response that her workers would not be back to finish because the contract is more than what they thought. She told me she was afraid she wouldn t get paid. I live in the SW hills in a well to do community. Your work is poor, your workers barely showed up and were not truthful and your company is unprofessional. I will NEVER recommend your company for anything!

Repaired a fence around my yard. Look really good when done.

They took a few weeks to begin maintenance of our beautiful backyard. After the second visit I realized they had removed a whole line of one-year old English lavenders and broken some of the micro irrigation hoses which dried out some of the plants along the line with the recent heat wave (we were out of town). After the third visit and pointing this out to the employee, I discovered they broke a new one inch irrigation drip line. They are careless and expensive, but perhaps the worst experience was on the phone with Renee as she did not want to own the bad jobs they did or hear about it. I m looking for recommendations on good working gardeners!

Great local family owned company. Both ownership and yard maintenance crew were very responsive to requests. I live outside of town and getting reliable consistent service can sometimes be challenging. Would highly recommend them.

I was riding my bike along Lorane Highway today. One of their trucks pulling a trailer decided to pass me and then immediately turn right in to a driveway, causing me and my partner to turn off the road and slam on our breaks and nearly crash in to their vehicle. Every single employee there blamed us for their blatant disregard to the safety for those around them. One even followed us in their truck just to flip us off for the icing on the cake. Calling the business didn t even get the slightest bit of an apology. If you want to support a business that doesn t take other people s lives seriously, then this is the business for you. I will never use this business, and I will go out of my way to recommend any competitor over this business to anyone and everyone who will listen.

What happened? I see reviews from 10 months ago and earlier were largely positive, while newer ones are almost unanimously negative. My experience from March 2021 is firmly in the negative category! It started well with Mitch walking my yard with me, appearing to fully understand the nature and scope of the jobs I wanted done (yard clean up, weeding, nominal pruning) and promptly giving me a quote for 24 man hours, to which I agreed (which at $45/hour was not cut rate). Well, 2 of the 3 who showed up arrived late. The crew dawdled, took frequent breaks, and one departed before noon never to return. While working, they inflicted a scorched earth policy with weedeaters (no hand digging or pulling), with no discrimination between good plants and bad, and moving stuff around with blowers but leaving huge batches of it uncollected but hidden in the bases of shrubs, even in and around heat pump units! Jobs Id specified which would have required shovel work simply didnt get done! Despite some action when Levi showed up late in the day, large parts of the yard were still left undone or badly done. The end of the story is that when I sent payment along with a punchlist of the quoted work undone or not properly done, I got another crew who supposedly finished the work but did a very poor job of it -- AND another bill for the same amount!! Paid it, noting FINAL!, and I mean that. I offer this as a huge red flag to anyone considering hiring this company! Firstly, Id never use them again. Secondly, get a firm bid, which cites the work to be done specifically -- not man hours applied to some vague description of the job. A pricey learning experience for me -- and one from which Im still working to clean up after the clean up crew!

We have Reese on contract to perform weekly landscape maintenance for our business. They consistently perform quality work, Javier is the best he is very polite and diligently does what he needs to do to keep our grounds looking there best. We have never had a problem with invoices or billing. I am proud to support this local company and highly recommend them.

The communication from this business is ridiculous. It seemed as though no one ever knew what was happening and getting them to come consistently was non-existent. When they did come, they never actually performed the full duties listed on the contract quote. There was never a real attempt to make it right or take responsibility for the lack of job performance. I would never recommend this business to anyone.

I had one of Reese Landscapes crews in my neighborhood yesterday and asked if they could give me a price on stump removal. They crew said that they would get back to me and within 10 minutes I had and answer at a great price. They were able to get the job done that day, we re very professional, did a great clean up job and very very pleasant to work with. Thank you for the great customer care!

I hired Reese Landscapes for yard maintenance because a friend recommended it. However, as I learned later, they have over a dozen trucks, and the crew that served my friend s house is different from the crew that served mine. The crew comes each week and mow the grass, that s all they do, weeds started popping up and I called to ask they treat the weed, they always said: we will put it on schedule and they never spray. One time, I talked to a crew member about the weeds growing in the lawn, he said: No problem, he would take care of it, and he sprayed. It turned out that he sprayed Roundup , it killed all the healthy grass where they sprayed and my lawn looked terrible with yellow spots all over front yard and backyard! I called Reese and complained about it, and ask them to fix the problem, after multiple phone calls, 4 weeks later, the owner finally came, and brought a bag of grass seeds to plant at areas where they sprayed roundup. By then, it was already May, it was hard for the new grass seeds to grow in the hot sun. I watered everyday, but still didn t see new grass growing. I called Reese, they said it was my fault, I should have watered more frequently. It was my fault!? I shouldn t have these big ugly yellow spots on my lawn if they didn t spray roundup! I was fed up, I fired Reese and hired an independent professional who cares my neighbors yard. He did such a good job and charged less. 2 years later, the yellow spots where they sprayed Roundup are still there, and I cannot believe how Reese responded to this incidence with no apology and corrective action!

Your drivers need to learn to use their blinkers! Big trailers attached to a truck piled high with dirt and no blinkers! Im not a mind reader! Thats not cool!

I had some pavers installed for my Hot Tub, everything looks fantastic! The work was done on time and by a crew that was very professional. The bid was extremely competitive and the quality of work was outstanding!

Found Reese Landscape at a Home show. I needed to have my entire back yard redone - remove what was there, clean it up, lay sod, put in 2 planter boxes, add river rock, repair fence. Previous owner had dogs that were diggers and the was a shed so the yard was a mess. They also cleaned up the front, and put rock in the front. All this was done in 3 days. They are hard workers. Show up on time, worked the full day, enjoyed their work, even commented to each other and myself that they enjoyed their work. I havent seen people who really enjoyed their work and were good at it. I Highly recommend Reese Landscape for any type of Landscaping that you may need to have done. It was a pleasure to have such respectful workers at my home. Anytime I need anything done, (I need to have fence work done in the future as well as a tree) this is who I am calling. They are well worth calling and the price, which was better than anyone anyway. Besides, They did what I wanted and didnt tell me what I needed to do or should do. They did what I WANTED. Very refreshing. CALL REESE.

Very unprofessional. After over two years of decent business this company has completely let me down. For over two years we had service on Fridays when a crew showed up on a Wednesday I simply called and asked to be notified in advance so I could pick up after my dogs. Renelle, in the office, was very apologetic for her scheduling mistake. The following day without any notice the crew was again in my yard. Once again, I asked in a very polite manor if they would please notify me so my yard was clean and my 2 big dogs were inside and thats when I was handed a door hanger stating we will be fertilizing tomorrow. A little late for that. The following day I was greeted in my driveway by two workers asking if I called about a broken sprinkler head. I told them I didnt know about a broken sprinkler head and they drove away. Little did I know it was broken by the crew the day before which we were never informed of. That night at 8:45pm I received a voicemail informing me that things were going downhill between their crew and I and that they could no longer service my yard. I woke up very confused because there was never an incident with the crew. Finally after three days I spoke with Renelle, she was apologetic again and took responsibility. She agreed that there must have been a misunderstanding but then out of the blue told me that they are losing money coming to my house and that they should be charging double the price because my yard is no longer basic, mind you theyve provided us with less than quality service, weeds growing out of control and little to no maintenance on the garden beds. They have also been the only landscaping crew at my home since it was built two years ago. Very upsetting and unprofessional. I have never missed a payment in the past 2 years, nor have I ever been late on a bill not to mention paid them $450 to lay mulch (which they laid in the wrong spot). Tried to reach out to the owner Mitch multiple times for some type of resolution and have not received any response in over a week. Overall extremely displeased and TRULY unprofessional. They will provide less than adequate service and find ways to blame you in the end

I called and scheduled an estimate for my fence, they came out and did it the following week. I called and left a message after not hearing from them for a week about the estimate but my call was never returned... Thanks for the reply, however if you can respond on here within 20 minutes of a review Im unsure how an estimate doesnt get sent with all the information I gave you or a call back after I left a message a week after the estimate was done but never sent to me...

Reese Landscapes is the best landscaping company in Lane County! Renelles team is very skilled, punctual, and I wouldnt consider using another landscaper ever again! They show up on time, which is rare! Ive used them for building retaining walls, and I was blown away at how fast the workers completed the project. I treated the crew to Burrito Boy for lunch, and you should do the same!!!

I had an extensive invasion of Bamboo that had spread throughout the back yard. It would have taken weeks or months to have dug it out by hand. Reese landscapes came in and dug it all out in one day. In addition they blew in soil and seed to create a whole new back yard of grass. I highly recommend them!
