They have people out at 7:00 am in residential areas running pumps that woke me up from 3 houses away I don t care how green the grass is before 8 am and neither does the town of union noise ordinance !

Jonathan took the time to walk the yard with me and asked if I had any issues or concerns. He provided good information on what applications were being applied and will continue to identify and provide weed control were needed. Jonathan is very polite and respectful.

Last year we had someone come to our door to ask if we wanted to sign up for services. We agreed and wrote them a check. Months later when reviewing my bank statements I noticed that they had cashed the check, and then used my bank account information to charge me again. They refunded me the money and apologized. I complained that it seemed strange that they had put my bank information in their system at all if they had a check to cash. We received multiple pieces of mail and also emails from trugreen offering us discounts for this year, but felt that the service did not really do anything for us and did not want to repurchase. So we were very surprised when we had someone from trugreen show up and begin spraying our lawn and then be charged for it. I am very unhappy that 1) they performed a service without our approval, and 2) seem to still have our bank information on file. Incredibly shady.

Been using them for two years now and what a difference in my lawn. They are always on schedule for applications.

Also fertilized our lawn.

Some years ago we used this outfit to control our weeds in our 2 ac yard, and it worked quite well. The monthly cost was around $85 each month at that time. That was in around 2005, then we stopped using them. This year, 2022, I contacted them via phone and asked to have someone come out and look at our lawn and give us a price for the exact same service at the same address. We do not come out and look at yards now, we just quote over the phone was their response. So they gave me a quote of $385 each month! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! There is no way to negotiate the price, he said, this is the price....period! I did a cost inflation estimate based on what todays buying power of $85 from 2005 would be in todays money. Turns out with inflation etc it would take $121 to match the buying power of $85 in 2005. So how come its $385??? Day light robbery! Incidentally, they called me back the next day and said they had a better quote for me...I never bothered to call them back and never will, they can shaft someone else, but not me! See ya!

Local and friendly staff

I have been a customer since the spring in hopes to regrow the grass around a tree and change the grass to weed ratio in my back yard. I am cancelling my service immediately. Not only do I still have a large bald spot in my lawn, I have been subjected to inexcusably rude solicitation calls from a young man who identified himself as Seth, the lead sales person in the Endicott, NY office. On 2 separate occasions he has rudely and abruptly hung up on me after asking if I want additional services. This is completely unacceptable especially given that they have not at all helped the initial issue and charging double the monthly rate that was offered to me. Buyer beware!

The TruGreen Lawn Care service men always notify me days before they come to do the lawn treatments. They always ring the doorbell and introduce themselves and explain the treatments that they are doing that day. I like that they plan the treatments before a rainy day or a few days before we get rain, because that way I do not have to spend time watering in the treatments. The office people are always helpful when I phone them and are quick to solve any problems that come up during the season.

Unable to contact them and get any answers, even with a $2,000 contract. Poor customer service and could not get answers. Canceling service contract that included all options.

I would not deal with them. I was totally disappointed in them. I do not recommend them period.

We hired TruGreen last fall for a year of service. We had no problem with our one over-seed and aeration. We have had zero service yet this year. We have been cancelled on multiple times and have missed the chance to get the crab grass in our yard, which is our main issue. Its VERY disappointing being a prepaid new customer with no ability now to get out of the contract.

messed up our lawn, now have many dead patches of grass on both our front and backyard. lawn was better before we did service with these guys, also gave us a new worker which made the situation worse

I called 16 weeks ago and now finally received the notice in the mail for signature...oh after I signed the faxed the signature for approval and sent to them on the day I called ..They put thier calls thru a call center , who cant even answer the calls themselves??? I dont feel very personal dealing with this company I feel blown off neglected and pushed aside..

Only one on street who has Tru Green. Had treatment last week and now lawn covered with dandelions. Others on street have very few.

Technician is quick, quiet and thorough.

As of now TruGreen has not fulfilled their promise (I have lots of bald spots in my lawn -- they did not plant enough grass seeds last fall for my lawn -- so my lawn is thin with many bald spots) but they have stated to me that they will rectify that in the fall. If they resolve the problems as promised with my lawn then they will receive 3.5 stars from me (3.5 rather than 5 because I had to call several times to get these issues resolved and I really had to make it clear to them that I was not satisfied with their service even though they knew it because a technician came to my house and took pictures of my lawn with all of the bald spots and shared these pictures with his manager) .

Sales people are rude and high pressure. Wont take.I need to look around for an answer. Expensive. Even asked me what can I afford. I said none of your business and his reply was.Yes it is. After me insisting I need to look around, he hung up on me.

They robot called me 5X in one day, I really dont have to think about my grass that much.

The actual lawn service is fine. Trying to schedule or speak to anyone in the servicing office is impossible. After 7, yes, 7 phone calls where I spoke with representatives who PROMISED to send me the contract and a robot call, I was finally able to get an emailed copy to sign and email back. If you have an actual problem with the service, good luck on reaching anyone to resolve...

While the actual lawn treatment is extremely satisfactory, it appears that our local Endicott, NY office does not have efficient, well trained employees. An airation and seeding treatment for our front lawn only, was ordered and completed, however, we were charged for both front and back lawn. They came to remeasure and I was told via a voice mail that indeed an error had been made and gave me the new price. No mention was made of how I was to be refunded for the overcharge that was deducted automatically from my checking account which was overdrawn because of this. The phone number that was left was garbled and I was unable to use it, I have tried the 800 number and the number listed on line for our local Trugreen vendor but am always sent to the 800 number. They tried to help, but guess what, they could not get in touch with my local office either. Buyer beware!

Super Excellent service! Service is excellent - if ever a problem, one phone call corrects it. Our service specialist is always kind, very friendly and giving good advice.....

Last application was performed by Romond Gibson, we chatted, I explained to him a few minor details, which was taken care of. Very nice gentleman.

My most recent application was mowed off hours after it was applied. A couple days later I phoned TG to have my services day changed so not to conflict with the landscaper. The women I spoke to couldnt have been more professional and understanding. Then she scheduled a re application no charge. Wow!

Trugreen offers affordable services for any budget. The technicians are always courteous and friendly. I love that I can call them anytime for a re-treatment or spot treatment at no additional cost if I see weeds in-between treatments. The lawn pest service helped us reclaim our yard back and we are enjoying the outdoors again. Thanks Trugreen!

I appreciate the phone messages in advance of the lawn care services and the ability to reschedule if it is an inconvenient time. I also like being able to talk in person to the service man regarding lawn care and any issues if I happen to be home when the service is done.

Notifications prior to and after service is performed is a nice touch and very helpful for me in preparing the lawn. The technician has always been very courteous and professional and takes the time to answer any questions I may have. I have had many comments from neighbors and visitors on how great my lawn looks!

Everyone at TruGreen has been very friendly and professional in all aspects in dealing with them. any time they contact me or I contact them everything is right to the point and explained to my satisfaction. they always do a great job.

There are no negatives to share about my TruGreen lawncare! As always, I received my 24 hour notice that someone was coming. They showed up, took care of the yard, (of which is absolutely beautiful, by the way) and then quietly left. There were no problems to discuss.

TruGreen has been a great lawn care service in 2013. Renewal of our contract is very easy and it is affordable for the year. I sent in my contract and it did not reflect on my credit card, so I called the 800 number. The person was very professional and told me everything was set. It took another week for the charge to hit my credit card. Again, everything was resolved to my satisfaction.

I wasnt home for this most recent appointment, but when I am home, the specialist will tell me he is here to start the process. Then I dont hear from him until the appointment is done. He will bring me receipt telling me in detail what was done. He is always very personable and knowledgable.
