Greenskeeper Landscaping & Lawn Care in Endicott

We had a mulched bed that once held two beautiful pear trees but we lost them to snow and wind damage. After the trees were gone I neglected the mulch bed. Finally this spring we purchased 2 new crabapple trees but I really didn’t feel like doing the hard work of weeding and edging the bed and planting the trees. I called Greenskeeper and they worked with the nursery to set a date to pick up the trees. They delivered the trees and completely weeded and edged the mulch bed, planted the trees, and reset a mill stone we had used as an accent. Easy and fast. It looks great. I will continue using Greenskeeper for my landscaping projects.

I have been using Greenskeeper for many years to mow the lawn, trim our shrubs and trees. They have always performed a very good job with a nice, neat job when they are finished. Their prices are good. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of lawn, tree, shrub care. Their workers are very respectful for the property and to my wife and me.

Switched to Greenskeeper from another local landscaping business. So happy that we did. The crew was very professional and conversational. They took great care and pride in the work that they did. They took the extra effort to make sure every little detail was covered.

On August 27, 2019, Tara came to our residence and gave us ideas and said she would get back to us with an estimate and mock photos of what she suggested for our landscaping. Didn't hear anything back for weeks. My wife contacted Greenskeeper, via e-mail, and she was told they would contact Tara and get back with us. This was at the end of October. Still didn't hear anything. Waited until November 13th, another e-mail was sent to Greenskeeper concerning this. No response. November 24th, once again another e-mail was sent and, once again, no response. My wife called three times and nobody would pick up. No voice mail was left as Greenskeeper would not answer our inquiries via e-mail. This was extremely frustrating as we were depending on Greenskeeper to do work for us next spring and now we have to start the process of looking for another company to do work for us. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a landscaper. Extremely inconsiderate and, obviously, the customer does not come first with the way Greenskeeper runs their business.

Weekly they cut and trim our lawn which is about 1.5 acres,leaving it nice and clean,neat looking. They do great work and always on time. They have a great crew. Once a month or so they edge and mulch, very happy with their work,very professional.

My lawn care guy sold his business to Greenskeeper this spring and continued to take care of my lawn through them. Last week someone else came out and did a botched job on my lawn: cut and trimmed lawn that belongs to my neighbor, not me; edging and chopping their pachysandra; weedwacking and spraying the mess all over the side of my car; spraying grass and weeds all over the toys in the yard and not bagging to name a few of the issues. When I called Greenskeeper to complain, a woman named Terry insulted and mocked me, saying that I was pitiful for being upset about the mess and that I must have a pathetic life for caring so much about their poor service. She then proceeded to say, in a mocking tone, that she felt threatened by me because I was angry at being mocked and insulted. Beyond awful people. Not sure how or why they are still in business. There's simply no excuse for this behavior. I could tell by her tone that she was excited to be cruel and rude to me, she loved it.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. We got an estimate from them to aerate and seed our lawn about 2 months ago. Last Tuesday they just showed up and started the work. We never hired them, signed a contract with them or even spoke to them after getting the original estimate. We had hired someone else to do our lawn! My husband called the office, no one answered so he left a message. We got no response so he called back today (Monday, nearly a week later). The woman who answered the phone said to him “so are you telling me you’re not going to pay for this?” My husband replied “correct”. She called him a “f**king a**hole” and hung up on him. My husband spoke to the owner and explained the situation. He also advised him of what the woman called him. He did not seem surprised nor did he apologize. What kind of place allows their employees to talk to folks like that? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

We hired Greenskeepers to install drainage and to correct water issues around our foundation. We contacted several companies and they were not the first to get back with us, but when they did, they were able to expedite several solutions to our water problems & quote the work fairly quickly. They fixed the initial water issue that drove us to call them , and then they fixed a water issue that we thought we would just have to live with due to the age and location of our home. I was thoroughly happy with them and all that I hired them to do. They asked me to provide a review(good or bad) and I typically don't like to be bothered with this sort of thing , but I was more than happy to share the positive review. Ed
