We could not be more disappointed with this company. We put up with mistakes, issues and complete failure to follow instruction all year. We were told repeatedly that they would fix the issues and make it up to us. Eventually I spoke with a manager and was told she would be my point of contact and that she PROMISED to reach out on Monday. She must have promised ten times. Never heard from her or anyone. A whole week went by and we still haven’t heard from anyone so we have disputed the charge with our credit card company. I can’t stress this enough: stay away from this company unless you want to be lied to repeatedly. In response to the reply I received here: no, you did not call me on those dates and no, you did not text me. I’d be happy to show you my missed call log. I have zero missed calls on the dates you mentioned and zero missed calls from Weed Man in general. I’ve had VM set up since forever and have received many messages from other people and businesses over the last month. You saying VM wasn’t set up makes me think you called the wrong number. You texted my husband on October 4th after we repeatedly asked you guys to stop contacting him and direct all correspondence to me because he has grown so frustrated with the situation he doesn’t want to deal with it. If you called my husband’s number, that’s on you because I specifically said to call me. If you care at all, please contact ME (the 818 number) to discuss.
Great service at a great price. Weedman helped turn our lawn into actual grass instead of the clover and crabgrass I had before. In the few instances after they spray and noticed weeds, they come right back and spray again at no charge. Highly recommend Weedman!!

Weedman is an alright company that takes good care of your yard needs.i like when they give you a heads up when they are coming out to your house to perform their yard work so you can have your yard ready for them. Plus they guarentee their work to your satisfaction or they will redo their work for no cost to you. Great Co.
This company does not provide the services you pay to have applied to your yard. I terminated my service at the end of the fall ‘21 after not having the results I believed were desired, especially after paying several hundred dollars throughout the year for the services. This Spring, I was contacted by a representative attempting to regain my business and I was informed they fired numerous employees who were diluting the product down with water or not applying what was reported to being applied to the yard. I was offered two free applications to bring me back for another try and I completely regret it. Somehow, my yard ended up worse off then the ones who don’t treat their yards in my neighborhood. Whatever was applied burned up my yard in certain spots. The office has no desire in building a trust with their customers. I WILL NOT use this company again.
I have sent an email with some but not all the pictures of our lawn on 8/16. I have yet received a call or response. I started with this company in April or May. I had weeds yes in deed I did but NOTHING like this. This is ridiculous. Weeds became worse UPDATE 9/10: If you have all our information like that. How come you did not contact us by telephone to see what the problem is if you did not get email?? I just contacted you all again by PHONE TODAY. The whole purpose of why I am upset is our lawn did not look like this before WEEDMAN. I am not trying to get out of paying. I have made payments so why do you think it’s a problem now??? First off these weeds been out here longer than 2 months of the non payment. Don’t try to put blame on us. The person who I spoke with said send the email to Dan and I did. So here is the email and the picture of my lawn before you all started treating it. But I got proof of what it looked like before Weedman and we did it all buying lawn products from LOWES and HOME DEPOT. Enlarge the new picture to see why we are upset.
I contracted Weedman using a prepaid order for a years worth of services in 2020 because I work a night schedule and am not awake during the day to spread products on my lawn. I was not home when they would come out and spread products on my lawn, but they would leave an invoice on my door. The invoices would get thrown out because I prepaid services and knew what I was getting. I decided not to make a prepaid order for 2021 because the services I received to my lawn turned it into a desert. I need to wear a respirator to mow the lawn due to the amount of dust and debris that is generated from the dead spots where grass has died and not been replaced during the fall over-seeding. I understand that this is a normal issue with lawn treatments based on my research of Weedman and other franchised lawn care companies. I chalked this up to a loss because I did not research prior to hiring Weedman. That is on me. However, I received a phone call today from the Norwalk Weedman customer service and was told that even though I prepaid for a year of service they have continued to provide service without receiving payment. The customer service rep informed me that they continue to automatically renew the service without a contract. This is the first time I have spoken on the phone with someone from Weedman since I have placed my prepaid order in 2021. Instead of calling and confirming a renewal of services they opted to not only provide one service, but three separate services on my lawn. They chose not to contact me about a due balance on the account for the first service, but instead let three services continue to build up on a balance of about $150. After they had amassed an unpaid bill of approximately $150 on unwanted services that were not agreed to they chose to call me and threaten a collections agency to come after me if I do not pay immediately. I attempted to contact the headquarters customer service number after receiving this delightful phone call and was unable to speak with a human because there dial tone selection system is messed up. Instead I had to call as if I was seeking ownership of a franchise location in order to leave a message requesting a call back. As of writing this I have yet to speak to anyone of authority in this business. If you decide to hire someone to care for your lawn be sure to look local and hire someone that answers the phone looking to provide a genuine experience. I have included photos taken today of my lawn after weed man has provided a years worth of services and an additional three unwanted services.
Weed man has really improved my lawn a lot. Everyone has noticed. I m very happy so far.

Poor service. Technician sprayed yard while dog was still outside. It would be nice if the knocked on the door when the arrived so we could put the dog up.

Staff did a nice job and came to the door to tell me they were here on their scheduled day. Looks like the main weed issues especially the creeping charlie, is way more under control now. Thanks!

My first service went well today. Both technicians came and introduced themselves and explained which services they were performing. Very professional all around, and did a great job. I would recommend them.
Spenser was very personable and professionable
They missed an appointment and didnt call to say it was canceled. We didnt mow the lawn because we thought they were coming on Friday. Steve called them the next day and they apologized for our inconvenience. Thats when it was rescheduled for the following week.

Do not sign up for a quote if they show up at your door. They will not stop calling you until they get you.
Called for a quote, had a nice chat with someone and I told them I d call back soon. The calls started the next day. They called me multiple times within a couple hours, and then called again in the evening. I answered and told the guy that I was going to pass on their service. That s when he started to argue with me. His attitude made my decision so easy. I wish I had read these other reviews before I wasted my time.

Id appreciate it if your company representatives did not knock on my door and ring the doorbell to sell services when there is a NO SOLICITING sign clearly visible on the premises.
Heres a few reasons to not do business with weedman: 1. The guys half-a$$Ed the work and I had to go out there to show them what they missed during fertilizing and dandelion treatment (only walked the border and not the actual lawn), but the new guy was new apparently. 2. The gift card promised for me and my neighbor who referred me never came 3. They wont stop calling me. 4. The guys doing the calls dont update your account appropriately so that you will stop getting calls.
My weed application today took about 4 minutes (big yard, lots of weeds). Turns out it is much faster when you skip most everything. Now I understand why the weeds are worse than when they started two years ago. Total rip-off. I confronted the lazy SOB today about what he was at my house less than 5 minutes and he just babbled. Save your money. You can do nothing to your own lawn without paying them to come out and do nothing for you. If anyone wants video footage of them doing 1/8th of my lawn before they get back in their truck and start making excuses for themselves, let me know!
Had to pay for Unauthorized services added to my account. Several calls to Customer service & they gave 0 help & a few Im so sorry but did nothing to make it right. Will not be using your services in the future.
After only a couple of weeks, my yard went from ugly to beautiful. Tons of weeds and now 80% already gone. I highly recommend!
I paid for weed control in my beds this service is a one star. I was told someone would be out to spay this never happed. I would request a refund on this service.
They provided me with weed removal service but all the weeds are still there. When I called for re-service which is included they gave me push back even though they ended up doing it. They were a huge waste of money.
I used them for mosquito services. They did not perform the job yet charged me and have continued to harass me for the money for a job they never completed ! They did offer to complete the mosquito service in the middle of December totally unbelievable.
Theyve been out two times now. Immediate results. Thank God! I got nowhere with the last company I used.

They knock on my door am 945 am and wake myself and my 1 year old up. No respect for the people of the city. Only worried about their money. Oh yeah its 35 degrees and snowing. Why would I want you to show me what you offer.. Come back in the spring when its nice. Better yet dont come back at all. Not the kids fault at the door. Just bad decisions from the boss Im sure.
My lawn has never looked so good .It is weed free green and lush. I am pround to say its the best looking one on the block .Not only dose my lawn look fantastic they guys are professional and vary helpful with any questions or concerns I have had about my lawn . I would highly recommend them for your lawn care needs . Plus I would rather spend my money supporting a local business.

You know the weed man has visited according to schedule because he leaves flags in the yard and puts notes on your door. The lawn is already improving! Hire him!

My yard has never looked better. I have had other companies in the past and have never got results like I have with the Weed Man.
They are not reliable and don t finish a job they started. But what they did do is good They did respond to my review and made things right they did finish the job, an employee made a mistake in relaying the information to me.
Unhappy with the service. Been a customer for years. Until they covered my motorcycle with bug treatment. I came out and it looked like it rained. Dried spots all over it and I just cleaned it. I called to get zero apology but was told its water based so no big deal.. maybe if my yard was perfect after years of paying for all their services Id give them another chance but it wasnt.. not even close. His only reply should have been Im sorry that should have never happened what can we do to make this right. Never again.
They just treated my lawn for the first time Ill have to see how they are but they were here in a hurry faster than it was with TruGreen or Miller landscape everything that I saw and I hope they do a good job
Used to use these guys and thought they did a decent job but discovered they never did parts of my lawn they couldn t get to on their motorized cart ( this is about half my property). Told them I suspected they weren t doing the whole yard and gave them another chance after confirming they should be doing the whole property, only lasted one visit and they started skimping again. Asked multiple times for grass seed while they would call to up sell services over two years. each time they said they would get back to me and the next guy I d talk to had no idea, then do the same thing. More interested in getting in and out in 10-15 mins then doing the job right. Update: They have since made things right for me by offering a refund or other services, they ended up giving me insect control last year at no charge. This seemed to work overall quite well over the seasons. Would use them again for insect control but I now will always do my own lawn services.

I really nothing to say about the actual work Weedman does, however.....I once gave my number to a Weedman and now they just call and text message me ALL THE TIME. Weedman things my name is Cherene, even though I told them...I am a man... Named Trevor. Im surprised they dont try to reach my regarding my cars extended warranty.

Weed Man destroyed our yard. We used their service for three years. The first two years were fine, and the lawn was lovely, but last year the weed control was nonexistent. I dont know if they changed chemicals, management, or what happened, but I paid for the worst lawn I have ever had. They came out to look and said they would spot treat, but the spot treatment was absurd. The entire lawn needed to be addressed. I was told they would overseed. In the fall I contacted them again and asked what they planned to do and when they would overseed and I did not hear back from them. Nothing. I then cancelled their service. If you want your lawn destroyed they are the ones for the job. *****I see your response and I sent you an email along with screen shots of the lack of response to my texts. Google has my user name, not my real name. Be assured, I was your customer in Norwalk, OH.
We have used several lawn care companies and are staying with Weed Man. They can be trusted to do a good job and are kind and considerate. Our lawn looks better than others who try to do it themselves!

I have used several lawn service companies in the past years and have also done the Scott program myself but none of them have compared to the positive results I have seen since Weed Man took over the lawn treatment program at my residence. They may cost a little more but the results are worth it. They got rid of weeks nobody else could touch and my grass is now thicker than it has been in the past.

If I could give 0 Stars I would! Stay away from this company. Poor customer service. Manager only returns your call when your inquiring new . This company hopefully did not poison my dogs. Tech told my grown son it was okay to take my 3 and 6 month old puppies out to potty right after treatment. I called my vet. Now we have to watch for poison signs during the next 24 hours. First of all they promised I would get a text alert telling me 24 hours ahead of time they would be out to treat my lawn. Never happened! I get a voicemail while at work saying they were coming out. They only gave 30 min notice. I am reporting this company to the BBB. Stay away!!! As of July 31st, 2019 this company is still calling and harassing me. Someone by the name of Ashley called and hung up when I threatened to file harassment charges. I have made it very clear over a year ago, to NOT call me. I called and spoke to a Dan out of Norwalk office. Made sure he understood your office calls again, I will take further action!
Accommodating, friendly company. I have had them for two years now and find that their service is beyond acceptable. It is outstanding.
