Awesome people to work with. Look at your lawn, recommend what you need that works with your budget and custom fertilizer for the STL region. I highly recommend over a name brand lawn care vendor. The dude used to run a premier PGA facility in STL that hosted PGA events. He knows his turf!!!

This stuff works way better than the national brands. Their products are very relevant for our climate. In just one year it has made a huge difference on my lawn. It's also nice to stop in the warehouse and get advice on anything lawn or pest related. I highly recommend their products.

If you're going to DIY your lawn, you need to be using The Turf Plan. They also have a full-service option but... I live near Scott AFB in IL but I make the drive out to Ellisville because it's worth it. They're some of the most helpful people I've ever done business with. They know their stuff and their prices are as good as or better than anywhere else. They only sell you what you need - nothing more or less - and they'll sit down and explain what each product does, why you need it, what you can skip, when you can skip it, how to water...everything. JR is my guy because that's who got me started but I'm sure anyone else you talk to there will be just as helpful. That said, I highly recommend that before you talk to them, you measure, calculate, and memorize your lawn's square footage - they're going to ask.
