If I could rate zero stars I would. I m not sure if it s an equipment issue or a worker issue but the recent leaf cleanups have been terrible. Instead of simply removing the leafs, whatever crew that s doing it is leaving behind a trail of chaos. The driver is way too close to the parked vehicles and i ve seen scratches on cars. Every single car is covered and the windows are coated in this disgusting dust and dirt. And i m sure i m not the only one whose entire engine bay was packed with leaf debris. On top of all that you idiots never posted anything to let people know to move I saw no signs. My cars window was broken and stuck rolled down your careless crew drove right on by blowing their debris all inside my car covering the outside and the engine. I turned my A/C on and got hit in the face by dirt and leaves. IT TOOK ME 4 HOURS JUST TO GET IT CLEAN AND I SPENT ALMOST $200 IN CLEANERS AND CAR WASHING/ DETAILING ITS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I AM OUTRAGED THAT YOUR COMPANY IS CARELESS ENOUGH TO LEAVE THAT MUCH MESS BEHIND WITHOUT GIVING A WARNING OR CHANCE FOR PEOPLE TO MOVE. WITH NO ATTEMPT TO FIX IT. WHAT RIGHT DO YOU HAVE TO BLOW DEBRIS ALL OVER THE PLACE AND INSIDE OF CARS?? AND SINCE YOUR CREW HAS GONE BY MY CAR HAS HAD ISSUES STARTING BY THE AMOUNT OF DEBRIS. THIS WAS WRONG AND YOUR COMPANY WILL BE TAKING RESPONSIBILITY.

This company is nothing but helpful. They installed a new stamped patio in the back of our home. They were easy to work with, had great ideas. We had an issue with drainage system under the patio and 2 years later they came and corrected it. Will always use them.

I contracted Teva Landscaping to remove the mess of vegetation that was in my yard, level it and put down sod. They also moved a maple tree that I wanted to keep. When the crew removed plants that were not meant to be pulled and cut my invisible fence, I contacted Teva and they responded immediately to my concerns. The owner met with me and we came up with a plan to resolve the issues. They reimbursed me for my costs and my yard looks beautiful. I realize things happen but its how problems are responded to and resolved that matter in the end. I would use Teva again!

Mike and the guys from Teva met all of our expectations for a really complicated hardscaping job with a two lecel patio and connection to a hot tub. Mike was responsive, fast, and honest in his advice. The crew was efficient, respectful of our property and very very fast. We couldn t be more happy with the service and professionalism of Teva.

They were on time and did a great job. I need soil grading and weed fabric installed as well as a drainage pipe. I would recommend them.

Good afternoon, Im writing to tell you how pleased we are with the work performed last week by the Teva Landscaping crew. Its beautiful and looks even better than I anticipated. The shrub work is perfect as are the new plantings. Additionally, the terracing on the side of the house is just outstanding! We are so pleased with the workmanship and attention to detail on our property. We were away and returned home to see the final product...a truly pleasant surprise. I realized that I had not inquired as to what to plant in the new terrace area and would welcome suggestions regarding perennial plants that do not grow too big, offer color and are not appealing to deer (and other critters). My wife and I decided over the winter that we wanted to put in a paver patio. We reached out to a few different businesses, and received quotes. Teva Landscaping was one of those businesses. We were surprised at the cost of pavers, but Teva was not any higher than the others. What stood out from Teva were a few things. 1. Ami worked with us to review options with stamped concrete, something that I was not interested in originally. He spent a lot of time, was very patient, and is quite artistic and thoughtful. He sat down and went over multiple designs with us. I genuinely enjoyed working with him. 2. Teva provided a quote, gave us a timeline, and started work right on time. For those of you who have talked to a lot of contractors for home improvements, you know that it is easy to be promised something and then be disappointed. 3. Perhaps most importantly, Tevas crew did a spectacular job. They were professional, well staffed, and started and finished their work with dedication, care, and the right level of expediency. They did not disappear and fail to show up again. They did not come work half days and leave. The job started, and then the job was finished in a very reasonable manner. They cleaned up after themselves, were polite, and they communicated very well with us. Ultimately, I couldnt ask for more. As you can see from some of the pictures, the job is absolutely gorgeous. It is stamped concrete, but it really looks like a European paver walkway. And the best part is that we wont have grass growing up in between the pavers. I highly recommend them over the competition.

We recently used Teva for our stamped concrete patio. They did an amazing job and the results were exactly what we asked for. TEVA displayed good communication and fast response to design and implementation! We had 4 projects to do and the work was completed ahead of schedule and to our satisfaction. The teams were very careful and cleanup was perfect.

I was looking for a professional landscape design company and I probably could not have found a better one than Teva. Mike listened to our goals for our front yard and in less than a week later came up with a plan. He explained his ideas, we discussed them and less than a week later, was a go. He communicated the schedule so I knew what to expect and updated me regularly. He was at our house constantly checking things out. He seemed to study our front lawn and did some tweaking as we went along that he felt improved the design. Incredibly thorough! And caring. Each division of labor I.e.hard scape, landscape, was prompt, personable and professional. I can t believe how amazing our front lawn looks now. We have gotten so many compliments. Simply put, Mike knows his stuff. The cost was very reasonable, much less than another highly respected landscape design company in the area. Highly recommend.

Im very happy with Teva! They recommended a stamped concrete area for my backyard. I couldnt be any happier with the finished product. My husband and I were so fortunate to have met the owner Ami prior to work he had been commissioned to begin at two neighbors homes. He visited us at our home the night prior to share the details of his projects and wanted to be fully transparent with the work and to see if we had any concerns or hesitation. Fully masked , incredibly respectful and gracious, Ami and my husband surveyed our property so Ami could fully explain the details and goals of both projects. He understood and appreciated our concerns with existing trees , vegetation and aesthetics. Both my husband and I were so impressed with his professionalism, authentic kindness and humble nature. In the end after only 2 days work, he and his workman were respectful and created a beautiful fence on both the adjacent and backyard neighbors properties . My husband also chose to extend a portion on our property. The fence is a beautiful Cedar created with an artists vision. We are so thankful to have been included in his plans, and shown such high regard for our concerns since both fences affect the visual aesthetic of our property. It is so rare to work with and meet such a business man who displays respect, authentic kindness , sincerity , artistic vision but most importantly the need to respect our natural world. Extraordinary. Very good service, responsible

Concrete steps turned out to be one of the most challenging issues I have had using a hired contractor. Arrival time / start time which I requested never met priority. Poor quality job had to be completely re-done due to cracking everywhere. In the process of re-demolishing the concrete, mortar joints shook loose over the front and side of the home when they used a jack hammer attached to a truck. Constant messages with poor follow up dates. Spilled concrete and mortar over front street, and under the main entrance step which they never cleaned off as well as more spilled mortar over the new concrete also not cleaned off and now part of my permanent finished project. My hose used without permission and they ruined my sprayer and then hose leaked which I had to cut off the bad part and fix myself along with removing all the concrete residue on the hose. + needed to purchase a new sprayer attachment. When I asked for a re-grading of the driveway, I now have two puddles of water every time it rains. I now have a huge concrete splotch mark under my door along with beads of splashed concrete still on my front door. This company may be better suited for lawn and brick landscaping only. I do not recommend them for poured concrete projects. Two years later update, the concrete poured for the steps and walkway are dissolving away and aggregate stones are already showing with pit marks everywhere. I now believe they used a cheap blend of concrete. Contacted them via messaging their main number and no response

Teva Landscaping just created our own personal garden of Eden! We contacted Teva to rip out some old bushes and over 40 years of wild growth in the front and side of our home to give it some more curb appeal. I had no idea to expect what came next - a beautiful oasis that now welcomes butterflies and has made me want to add a bench to sit - and done in just two days! When I drive up to my home now, my breath actually catches in my chest because it just looks so pretty. Teva will deliver, timely, professionally and efficiently - but they also are masters of landscape design, knowing just what plants, flowers, and natural materials work well in a given space. We are so happy and wont hesitate to reach out again with any future needs.

Teva renovated our patio and put up fencing. They were fast and did a wonderful job making the space both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Ami cares about the work and ensures things get done properly. The price was very reasonable for the work they did. I would highly recommend Teva Landscaping! 100 stars. When planning my front yard landscaping, I reached out to 3 companies. They were highly rated and the pictures were beautiful, however the conversation with those landscapers were so dull. Then Ami arrived! When I asked him for advice and delivered ideas, I was greeted with optimism and great imagination! Ami is quite artful (even in his personality and words) and knowledgeable about his craft. Very fun and comforting to work with. I made a huge mistake by adding about 480 cubic feet of dirt along the bordering gate in my backyard - naively hoping to build an XXXL raised garden bed. Ami was the only professional who disagreed. All the dirt was removed from the gate the next day! He indeed saved me from damaging my gate and losing tons of money in months to come. His insight is trustworthy. Regarding execution, the work was done incredibly fast and well. Ami s crew is friendly, considerate and even thoughtful about some parts of my yard that wasn t even discussed. Very proactive and kind. You can tell very clearly, the mindset of Teva Landscaping is focused on beauty, holistic design, and efficiency. The office is quickly responsive and polite via phone and email, too. I plan on expanding and beautifying my backyard/side yard with Teva Landscaping after this upcoming winter season passes. Thank you!

Ami patiently listens to customers, he s great at design ideas and very considerate for needs. Ami and Brittany laid out a clear contract, transparent about every details and cost. The crew did impressive fast and quality work, every bit of details was done professionally. The team was on time every day on 8, took short lunch break on 12, continued till 5-6 as long as weather allows. In addition, we commented on something small at the end, Ami heard us, asked the worker to fix within a week. We are so happy we chose Teva, neighbors are jealous, said the retaining wall and fence look high class, and asked for referral. Teva is fast responding and so friendly at customers than peers, Teva is absolutely a five star company.

Our property needed a fence, two retaining walls replaced, and a new stone retaining wall beneath the fence. Teva was absolutely stellar for all of the projects. The owner Ami walked us through each of the jobs and had many great suggestions, making sure the work highlighted our existing landscaping. We were also torn between two different types of custom fences and Teva merged the two types, creating a fence which we love and gets constant compliments from people walking by. The crews at Teva were incredibly detail oriented, took input seriously, respected our existing landscaping, and made adjustments based on our input as we saw the projects progress. Teva exceeded our expectations and we will absolutely use them in the future for other yard projects.

From the initial meeting for an estimate to the completion of the job, Ami, the owner of the company, was informative and responsive. He listened to what we wanted and added to the idea. We contacted him about a concern during the project, and he came out and remedied the concern beautifully. He worked with our budget and gave a beautiful almost finished (finishing tomorrow) product. This was my first experience working with a landscaper, and I had only a vague idea of what I wanted. We would highly recommend Teva Landscaping. They turned our ivy-covered mess of a front-yard hill into something we can be proud of and actually use by doing an amazing job creating a two-tiered stone wall that fits in perfectly with our home. Ami, the owner, was responsive and even led us on a tour of similar designs so we can decide what we really wanted. We knew more of what we did not want and little of what would actually work for our area and property. Ami and his team worked hard to ensure that we were pleased each step of the way and went well above and beyond our expectations. The office team was easy to work with for payments and any other needs. The on-site crew was hard-working and professional. For the walls, they didn t just place stone, they cemented anchors for each level, and then cemented the backs of the walls so you can t see the cement. They cleaned up as much as possible each day and did a great job cleaning up once the project was complete. Ami and Team helped us with a drainage issue for the side of our house, including rerouting gutter drainage, setting a water-catching basin, pulling up and resetting a flagstone walkway, and creating a new drainage path with river rock. The work was done quickly and cleanly, the finished product looks great, and (most importantly) we havent had any water in the basement since! Everyone was friendly and the price was very reasonable. We had Teva come out a year ago to assess our backyard so we could put in a ground level patio. Ami gave us his honest input and a fair quote (a little less than other local companies). He waited around 10 months until we were ready, then started the project three weeks after we settled on a plan. The 800 square foot patio was done in less than 2 weeks! The guys even came out on a Sunday to make up time since it rained 3 days that week. Teva then followed up to ensure everything was perfect, including reseeding the lawn, checking with the gas company for the fire pit, and fixing the stucco that was damaged by our old deck. We are thrilled with the result and are enjoying most nights outside by the fire.

Teva redid my lawn/landscaping 1 year ago. It looks terrific and I have gotten multiple compliments from my neighbors and even my son, who is very picky. Teva Landscaping came out this past October to grade and install natural steps in our backyard located in East Oak Lane, Ami gave us an estimate and with his team created a backyard that is now functional and fitting for our neighborhood and looks natural.. his crew exemplified professionalism, punctuality, and dedication to detail. Teva prices are reasonable considering the quality of work and materials used. Highly recommend they do your next project if your considering hardscaping/landscaping or any project for your yard..Ami showed up almost everyday and provided us with updates or changes. His crew is EXCEPTIONAL! We had a wonderful experience with TEVA Landscaping and will hire them again for any future projects.

Teva has made our large corner property beautiful and cared for. In winter we can always rely on their snow removal crews. They even come in the middle of the night so we can get our in the morning. I recommend them most highly.

I contracted with Teva landscaping for some hardscaping work, my backyard slopes badly into a furrow which was full of stumps and collected water. I had no idea where to begin. Ami came out quickly after calling and provided a quote promptly. The price was very fair and he provided several options, I never felt pressured or rushed. I was blow away by how quickly he was able to get a team out to my property, within days I had materials and equipment appear and a hardworking crew made short work of the project. Ami came to the worksite almost everyday and kept in touch with frequent updates, I was taken aback by his kindness and professionalism. The team took care of every stump on my property (and was nice enough to do a neighbors stump also) and quickly took down some other trees. Large cement blocks were pllaced with care and everything was made perfectly level before going any further. His crew cleaned up not only after themselves but took a ton of refuse from my yard as well leaving it cleaner than how they started. I ve never had such a great experience with a contractor before and Ami has earned himself a lifetime customer. Don t hesitate to hire these guys, I couldn t have imagined a better experience. P.s- there was one incident where a piece of equipment went through my sidewalk through no fault of his, Ami came out promptly and after ensuring that everyone was ok - quickly repaired the crack pouring a new slab without hesitation. We recently moved to Elkins Park and needed a lot of landscaping done around our house. We did some business with another local company to take down our trees and then got a quote from them for another big job that we needed done. They quoted us 24K to haul in dirt and sod our backyard (on a slope). This felt more than a little high, so I asked my new neighbors who to contact and everyone said Teva. I gave them a call and later that day a representative (Ami) from the company came out and gave me a quote for the same job, but for 9K. Thats right, 15K less that the other company. Needless to say, I went with Teva. They came out fast and did a meticulous job building up our slope and laying the sod. I recently had a massive limb fall into our creek and I couldnt get any tree guys to come out and clean it up. I called Teva (I wasnt sure if they did tree stuff at first)and they came out within the hour and took care of it!!!!!!!!!! I have been so so so pleased with this company, the work they have done and everyone Ive met and spoken to there. We still have a few large jobs to do in our yard and Im not gonna bother calling anybody else next time. Teva has my business.

A very nice experience. Ami came up with a nice plan and was receptive and provided constructive feedback for our opinions and points of view. *Update 8/2/19* Its been a month or so of trying to get them back out to finish up the final details and correct a couple of items. Several times they were supposed to be coming out came and passed without a call or explanation. Lowering review. 8/20 update - teva has remedied the issues. I appreciate the follow through.

My wife and I have known Ami, the owner of Teva Landscaping, for over twelve years. He has done a wonderful job for us with both traditional landscaping and hardscaping. When we moved into our beautiful house it had an awful front area covered in ivy. Ami helped us design a phenomenal cottage garden with boulders, shrubbery, ferns, wild grass and flowers. It is great. Since then, Ami, installed a path from our raised deck to a small patio in our back yard. The steps are made of boulders. It really is a beautiful feature. Teva Landscaping has also rebuilt several fieldstone walls on our property and replaced a large, fieldstone retaining wall with E.P. Henry Pavers. Teva Landscaping is professional, courteous and reasonably priced.

Teva did fencing for my father apartment, they did the job smoothly and beautifully. They just did a great job, the crew was very nice and the service between the customers is really spot on!

Teva has been working on our property for the past 2.5 years. In this time they have basically transformed an overgrown and neglected property into something that we are proud of. The work they have done for us has ranged from a large driveway and retaining wall construction project, to landscape design and installation, as well as addressing drainage issues and performing property maintenance. The owner takes the time to understand what we are truly trying to accomplish (even when we don t know) and gives us budget friendly, yet creative options - bringing an imaginative approach to his projects. He and his crew are very professional and great at what they do. They also stand by their work and will address anything that is not right.

From spring cleanup, to new projects, to routine maintenance, to fall cleanup all the way to snow removal these guys are always on time and on budget.They are both responsive and great at what they do.

I received quotes from four companies, including Teva, to fence my backyard. Tevas quote ($8k) was twice as much as the next highest quote ($4k). I got the work done for $3k and couldnt be happier. Im very glad that I didnt pay Teva 2.5X as much!

Ami, Rod and his team do great work. Our yard has never looked better.

My husband had an appointment with the owner of TEVA today, 6/25/15. The meeting was scheduled for 8:00am. TEVA called at 8:30am to inform him they would be there at 9:00am instead..so already off to a bad start, but not a big deal to my husband, he excused it. When the owner finally arrived my husband attempted to explain that we had just moved into the house and would be having new windows, siding and a new garage installed in the upcoming months. And that we would like to have the grass cut and shrubs trimmed, and very large tree stump removed at this point. And once we completed renovations on the home we would like the entire front yard redone and a new patio installed in the back of the home. Well, the very rude owner never allowed my husband to finish his sentence. He promptly cut him off and told him its not worth his time. He said My minimum is $500, you dont have to show me anything else. Its too small. Please note that no where on the website is it specified that there is a $500 minimum. And as for our yard, I do not consider a yard that is approx. 0.30acres in size to be very large, but not very small either, but then again it was not specified on the website that there was a size requirement. Luckily for my family and I there was a landscaper in the neighborhood early this afternoon working on a neighbors yard. Not only was he willing to take a look at our yard and listen to our request, he also provided us with a estimate to refer to once we are ready to have the project started. As for TEVA, this company is very negative and unprofessional. I will be sharing our experience with friends, family members and coworkers alike.
