My wife and I met with Salen and discussed the type of work we wanted done in our backyard, this included leveling the entire yard, removing trees ,pouring concrete, building a retaining wall, a drainage system , installing a sod and building a patio cover. the work was done quickly efficiently and neatly. Salen's workers were prompt, professional skilled. when the work was done I was very pleased with their work. Salen is a person of his word and has been attentive to all our questions and concerns, it has been a pleasure working with him and his crew.

We had our grass installed last year by this guy. It immediately started flooding so he sent his son out who fixed a valve they installed incorrectly and let us know that if the flooding continued to let him know and he would fix it. We had him come back two additional times as it continued having issues. He told us if it continued it would need to be re leveled. We turned off our sprinklers for winter and didn't go in our backyard the ground was too soggy to walk on from the drain issue. We recently hired a gardener who turned our sprinklers back on and immediately the drain issue occurred again. The Gardner we hired said the install was done incorrectly as well. There are a few holes next to our patio from our feet sinking into the ground into the mud. Saleen says these are from our dog and now refuses to fix the issue. We paid nearly $7000 to have the yard leveled and irrigation and sod installed and we can't even walk on the grass. I would never do business with Saleen again. We will be reporting to BBB.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY LANDSCAPING JOBS! They cut corners, and don’t do work they originally had in the quote. They purposefully leave things out of the contract so they don’t have to do the work and if you question them about it, they just say what you’re asking for was never discussed. We had Salen pour concrete in our backyard, do our sprinkler system and put in sod. They didn’t put in any drains at all in our grass so this winter our ENTIRE yard is completely flooded. Like a literal lake. We are not the professionals, we had no idea we needed drains. That’s why we HIRED professionals to do it. Now we are stuck dealing with a mess that they created when they cut off our downspout drain for our roof underneath the grass. All of our roof water just runs straight under our lawn now and is causing severe flooding. We also now have a low spot in the yard where all the water collects. Several drains should have been placed to mitigate all these issues. When they originally did the work we made them come back 2 times to clean up their mess and finish all the removal of debris we spoke about and they acted like we were being jerks for making them come back to do the job correctly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

He came and did my parent's patio and backyard. It was excellent work. I would recomend him to anyone. He is efficient, good pricing and is a pro. Don't waste your time on anyone else.
