Bob's Landscaping in Elk Grove

I called this guy Monday morning he said he had a few things to do but he would be in my home later that day at 5:00 p.m. I call back he wants photo of the valves and my address can you give me a thumbs up no appointment was scheduled just to see my address in valves then he text back saying hell be there tomorrow on a Tuesday still no show since there is no show from him twice I move on look at other options later that night on Tuesday send me texts that I have scheduled appointment for the following day Wednesday I just assumed he will not show up again I call him Wednesday morning looking at other options the options I had I have a neighbor around the corner who was a landscaper who said he would help me he actually took me to Guardian supply store in Roseville for commercial use he bought the valve forever 19 something dollars Bob whats going to charge me $140 for the first round after that it would be 120 for each of the other valves my neighbor took care of problem I had in less than 15 minutes and taught me how to do it myself Bob did show up later that day I was not home when he called me after reaching my home he was already having an attitude problem and he was angry and when I told him I had moved on whats my neighbor the attitude got worse he was complaining about the long drive 40-minute drive in over 100° weather weather car that has air conditioning he told me not to call him he was quite upset having a tantrum sorry text back and told him dont worry I will not call you anymore Ill get somebody more reliable Vinny starts complaining about me harassing him can I text back you come to my home with an attitude can you get angry and yet you think Im harassing you when you can with this attitude the moment I told him I will make my reviews he started with this youre harassing me but I told him he dont show up I move on dont hire this guy or this company if they keep getting issues like this yes I did look at the reviews after he left by the way if you look up this company dont just look at the reviews scroll down to the address I think we need to hire a landscaper for the yard they have in front of the house somebody that can put the sprinkler system as well cuz its all dried out

Very friendly and helpful to work with. I had a vision of what I was looking for and Bob came up with a plan to make that happen. The follow up to check on the work was great too. They stand behind their work.

I called for a quote. Unfortunately this company only does landscaping in Elk Grove and not in Sacramento. For this reason Im giving them two stars. A little disappointing, considering they have good reviews on Google.

Bob s landscaping did a great job in repairing our backyard fence due to the heavy rain and wind. They were fast and on-time with a reasonable price. I would recommend them in the future.

This is the guy to hire. He is quick, dependable and knows what he is doing. He shows up on time and always answers questions , even those texted after hours. I hired him to fix the drainage in my yard, replace 100+ feet of wooden fencing, even out my backyard and replace the grass with decomposed granite and install lava rocks around my tree beds. The drainage was tricky because it was under concrete but he knew just how to repair it without destroying the walkway. I previously got a ridiculous quote that was thousands of dollars more than Bob charged. Additionally one company was going to charge me 60% more to do all the same work except the drainage. If I need any work in the future I will hire this company.

The Front lawn was very well done at first. Then the weeds came up and now 5 of the plants are dead. The drip system he put in are popping up in several place. Tried to call and the answering machine saws the mailbox is full and wont take any message. So I am writing this review. Bobs landscaping called and replanted the dead plants and am very happy with them. Had a problem and and it was taken care of. Thank you Bobs Landscaping

From the start of the job to the end Bob was a great communicator, on time everyday, and kept there equipment organized and neat when off the clock. Most of all he s able to work within your budget and with his years of experience, he s able to give great suggestions. Glad we went with my man Bob.

Bobby was really great to work with! Very professional, very reasonably priced & truly helped us get all of our yard issues resolved! They removed and trimmed back our horribly overgrown roses, climbing vines, trees, shrubs & bushes, they completely overhauled & replaced the failing irrigation system, and they laid down some great quality stone throughout the front & back. They definitely improved the overall look and functionality of our yard tenfold! Bobby obviously cares about his quality of work and his reputation in this community. He was easy to reach ,and diligent to make sure all of our problems were resolved and we were happy with everything! Would definitely recommend their services.

Bob and his team were awesome! He was able to come out and look at the property quickly for a quote. We set up a time to have old sprinklers fixed, lay sod, and put in some rock. They came when they said they would, had great communication on what was going on, finished quickly, and it looks great! Highly recommend!

Bob and his team were awesome! They just completed replacing an old fence at our house and it is beautiful. Bob made sure that we were on the same page from the beginning and the final product was exactly what we wanted.

I hired Bob to remove the roots in my soil in my backyard from a tree that was removed so I cold install new sod. I also hired him to fix a broken water line and sprinkler heads in the backyard that we re not working. When he left I thought the roots were gone but when I went to remove the soil I saw they covered them up and called it good. I contacted him and he came back but he still did not remove the roots. He did fix the broken pipe but did not replace 1 of 3 heads and told me I could do it myself after I hired him to fix the sprinklers. I would definitely look for other options unless your job is simple and has no unexpected issues.

Like Andrew Gs review, never showed up for appointment. Initially contacted him via email. Gave him my address and set up an appointment for him to come over and evaluate my sprinkler valve problem. Was scheduled to show up between 3-7pm. Never showed or communicated with me, so wasted half a day waiting for nothing! Would give ZERO stars if possible!!!

Bob and his crew are FANTASTIC! We had a a lot of rock with uncontrollable weeds in our front yard and in 2 days made our house look like a whole different home! Such a friendly crew! I emailed on Friday to get a quote based on what I wanted for a design and rocks for my front yard. By Monday, my job was completely done and exactly what I wanted. Will definitely contact for other projects!!!!!!

I would recommend Bobs landscaping to anyone!! We had them pour 3 different concrete pads. One an extension of our driveway, another, a patio in the backyard and also a pad for our garden shed. They even matched existing design in concrete. Professional and prompt with highly skilled labor. We have now called them back for a fence build and general clean out our backyard for plants and trees and misc weeds. They can do anything! We have more work in mind for spring and will again be calling Bob s landscaping. Affordable, kind, honest and skilled! 5 stars!

Amazing work! This crew are REALLY good at what they do. They were clean, professional, and went above and beyond! I was unable to get my sprinkler system to shut off. Bob answered the phone right away and showed up at my house within about 10 minutes. He diagnosed the problem, shut off the sprinkler system. Bob returned the next morning and completed the valve repair. His availability and response were exceptional. A day later I experienced problems with my water station not working. Bob diagnosed that the electrical wiring was not functioning. He helped move the water station pad to a new location and reconnected it. He did this without charge. His help was very appreciated!!!

We needed a post fixed that was leaning over. I didn t want to have it bring down other sections, and Bob s Landscaping was very quick, responsive, and did a great job replacing and securing a new post. We ve also already used him since for a sprinkler issue, and place on doing more with them soon.

Very pleased with the entire process. We had a damaged drainage system replaced, leak located and repaired and new sprinklers installed. Bob and his crew were prompt and professional. Fantastic people went above and beyond

I called Bob requesting his help because some of my plants were dying and I wasnt sure why. He was very responsive and professional and came over that night and told me the reason was they werent getting enough water. He suggested it would be wise to have a new valve installed which would give all the plants better water coverage. I agreed with his price which I felt was very fair and set a date for the installation. I also asked if he could plant some new plants where some had previously died and he agreed. When he finished the job, it had been very quick and efficient. The plants look great and the water flow is so much better than before. I would definitely call him again when i need any more landscaping done.

Totally pleased with their work. I asked for a clean up of my backyard removing trees shrubs bushes n some haulable items. It was a transformation of my yard in doing so. They were friendly on time funny yet professional. I m totally pleased in the outcome and definitely recommend them. I was extremely disappointed in the work that was done. I hired this company to clear the weeds out of a small area, lay tarp down, and lay rocks. I advised that I already had the rocks purchased and at the home. All this is documented via text. They showed up (earlier than expected, Ill give him that) and did the work way faster than expected. I went out to take a look at it and to my shock there were still weeds. Not the thick ones, but stragglers everywhere. No tarp, no rocks. He charged me the full $150. I said this isnt what we discussed. I told him to take a look at the text. He then agreed to lay the rock down. He just tossed the bags of rock on top of the uneven ground with weed stragglers still popping up everywhere. He didnt even de-root the weeds! Just cut them with a weed whacker, so they will all come back. No tarp or anything. He asked if I had tarp, I said no. Im not the landscaper and it wasnt previously discussed that I need to go purchase it myself. He charged me $150 for less than 40 minutes of low quality work.

I used Bobs Landscaping Service today to trim one of my trees. He came out within 2 hours, and did exactly what I asked. They were courteous, quick and professional. Thank you, Bob!

Bob came out same day and was able to fix my sprinkler system in seconds. Turns out something had been turned off at some point that should have been on. I ll be using his service for any future landscaping.

I first hired Bob and his crew to work on my front yard. The were able to come out very quickly, within days. They put in cement and grass and made sure the sprinkler system was working properly. They did such a great job that I hired them to work a little bit on my backyard. They worked efficiently and made sure to clean up when they were done. I even decided to keep them on for a few months to maintain the front yard in case something happens where the lawn dies or the sprinklers arent working correctly. I would definitely recommend them!

Ive posted my review on yelp too but I wanted to make sure to let anyone who thinks of coming to this guy to go somewhere else. This man steals your money and does not complete the take given. He does a small portion and its a whatever kind of job and then he gets all angry when you call him out on it. Trust me when I say youre better off going somewhere else. He has a horrible work ethic and a horrible attitude who cant handle being called out for his laziness and lies. Ill say it one more time for the whole world to hear: STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN AND FIND SOMEONE BETTER TO DO THE JOB!!

I HAD HIM REDO MY FRONT YARD, AND PUT A DRIP SYSTEM IN MY BACK YARD. THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK AT A GREAT PRICE.

Came home from work to a leaking anti-siphon valve with a steady stream of water pouring out. Being on metered water needed it fixed ASAP. Took a chance and phoned Bob at 4:30 in the afternoon, explained the issue and he came right over, diagnosed the problem, went for parts and everything was fixed by 6 p.m. Service was prompt, excellent and when I could not get the outside water valve back on all the way today as things were left to dry overnight I called Bob and he was here in 20 minutes and muscled the valve back on for me. Definitely will be calling him back next spring to tune-up my entire sprinkler system as he quite obviously knows his trade

Repaired a major leak in our irrigation and replaced a section of driveway. They showed up on time, kept us informed and completed on time. Also great job on clean up. Did an excellent job and would definitely recommend.
