Eric and his crew did an amazing job on our backyard patio. Eric showed up on time for our initial free estimate (unlike other companies I tried) and was very responsive throughout the whole process. He gave tons of details about his design ideas, price points, and the products he uses. His crew was very professional, worked very hard each day they were here, and left everything totally cleaned up when the job was done. I couldn’t recommend this company enough. I’ll definitely be using Zimmerman again for any future landscaping needs.

Eric, did a great job on our patio project and landscaping around my home in Geneva! He works really hard and even help with the general contracting for the project with carpentry, electrical, permitting, roofing, and plumbing. I have used Zimmerman on big project and some smaller ones and he always does excellent quality work!!

Eric Zimmerman is an absolute professional; he’s well trained in landscape architecture and design, he is extremely knowledgeable and he’s a terrific, affable, friendly guy who will treat you well as a client. We had a personal recommendation before choosing to have him come out for an estimate and I was impressed the moment we started walking our backyard and discussing ideas he had for new plantings. Best of all, Eric uses a cool application which allows him to show you pictures of his ideas set against your yard - he just uploads photos into he application and designs the layout from there. It gives a very realistic idea of what your landscaping will look like before you proceed. He was open minded to changes I suggested or inquired about and had great understanding of why certain plants would or would not adapt well in our yard. Eric knows his stuff! Eric not only beat the price of a local, well regarded North Shore company, which we have used, but his design was very attractive to us. All of the plants, shrubs and trees he installed look terrific so far - nothing was wilting or looked bad upon arrival. His crew was also great - they worked hard and did a wonderful clean-up after installation. Eric educated us a great deal on the types of plants and trees we installed, helped us plan how to water everything over the first week and first couple of months and has been responsive to emails and calls. We will undoubtedly use him again in the future for landscaping and some hardscaping (re-laying our blue stone, extending the blue stone, etc).

I’ve been very satisfied with this company. Last year they did a great job landscaping my kids play area, they extended my patio and put in a fire pit. This year I decided to give them a try for my lawn maintenance as I wasn’t very happy with the previous company I was using. Zimmerman did a fantastic job this summer at a cheaper price than what I was paying the last company. Highly recommended!
