I had a sprinkler system that was leaking quite a bit. I called numerous places and got no answers or follow ups. SP LC answered the call right away and were here within an hour to address the issue. They gave me a GREAT deal on all the things that needed to be replaced for my outdated and complex sprinkler system. They got it done and walked me through the process to make sure I understood what was going on. My sprinkler system that was VERY old runs like new! I will definitely be enlisting them for other project around my house! Reliable, Responsive, at an affordable price!
A few weeks ago, I got several leaks throughout my very old landscape irrigation system. I am the original owner of my house and have been in it for over 25 years; hence the irrigation system is just as old. And over the years there have been many reconfigurations adjusting to my overall landscaping requirements, and unfortunately not always done in the best way. So after having quite a few leaks popping up a few weeks ago and all the leaks I had fixed in the past, either patching or replacing poly-pipe and valves I knew it was time to replace the whole system front and backyard. I did my research and found SP & LC Landscape Contractors on the El Paso Better Business Bureau and they had a A+ rating, as well as a 4.7 Star (out of 5), on Google Reviews. SP & LC’s owner Mr. Acosta and a couple of other independent landscaping contractors came by and gave me multiple estimates. However, SP & LC provided the best explanation and estimate and was very thorough in their description of what was going to be done and they guaranteed me that they would not disturb or destroy any of my current shrubs, plants or trees. They also stated that they could provide me with a few replacement shrubs/plants that I had already lost due to my current and bad irrigation system. And their estimate included a total replacement of my current irrigation system and added valves which would give me better control of individual watering zones specific to each type of plant/shrubs needs. And when the work commenced, they showed up on time each and every day and as I observed them do the work was impressed with their work ethics and pride. Take note that they were working in 100+ degree weather almost the entire time. At the end of each workday, they would clean up after themselves and ensure the walkways or thorough fares were clear of debris. And they ensured that my existing plants, trees, and shrubs were well hydrated (manually watered) as the old system had been disconnected in preparation of the new system. Needless to say, as they worked it was quite detailed with a lot of digging trenches to route all the pipes. Well, when the work was totally done (two full weeks, to include one Saturday) and the entire system had been installed to include a new WIFI Irrigation Control System you couldn’t even tell they had been on my property, apart from the new plants that they had replaced. Totally cleaned up and looking great!!! I have to give them kudos for a job well done!!! I am very pleased and highly recommend SP & LC to anyone that might need landscaping and irrigation work done!!!
SP & LC Landscape Contractors was one of the best experiences I have had when getting work done on the house. Mr. Acosta was very approachable and cared for the work being done. He frequently checked in and provided updates throughout the duration of the project. The price was very reasonable and the end results were beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend their service to anyone.
I had an issue with my timer. I called the folks that installed it. After several days they called back and set an appointment with us. They no-showed. We contacted them again. No response. No return call or texts. So, I decided to call SP & LC Landscape because of the great reviews. Their voicemail was full, so I decided I would try again tomorrow. Imagine my surprise when Jesus Acosta called me a few hours later! He asked specific questions and had me FaceTime him because he said he wanted to see if he could save me the cost of a service call!! He was able to step me through the issues and fix it! No charge!! I highly recommend Jesus Acosta, for his expertise, his excellent customer service, and his impeccable integrity. God bless you sir.
I had a very inefficient sprinkler system that was costing me money on repairs and water bills. Contacted SP & LC to assess my problem and come up with a plan to get me what I needed. They removed my old system, installed a completely new system that runs beautifully. Their crew was prompt and efficient. They left my yard better than it was (they even included a little landscaping). If you want real pros to solve your sprinkler problems and give you peace of mind, you can't find a better company to do the job than SP & LC.
A bit late on a review but what can I say? SP&LC are very professional and experts in what they do, they helped bring back life to my backyard and in a very timely manner as well 10/10 recommend! Thank you again.
We had gotten quite a few quotes. These guys were not the cheapest but they weren't the most expensive. However, Mr Acosta was the most professional. They came with a crew, worked quickly, Mr. Acosta periodically checked the work being done. He asked us along the way if we were happy. They cleaned up afterwards & did an amazing job of laying our concrete & spreading all the rock around the perimeter. I would highly recommend these guys!

Is been a few years but I de decided to post my experience with Mr.Acosta. I contacted Mr.Acosta to built me a swimming pool and bathroom addition in December 2021. After negotiation and the day of completion we agreed and work started in January 2022. mr. Acosta promised us that the project will be completed by the 7 of May 2022. Based on that my wife made plans for our anniversary and have people coming from Austin, Florida and Puerto Rico. At the beginning Everything was moving right alone and every time Mr Acosta came to me that was time for a payment I-paid on time all the time. Right after they pour the concrete, problems started it. On average if they came 2 days a week was a lot, sometimes they didn t show up the whole week. Based of that he missed the completion day which he promised me that I ll be done by July. July came back and missed the deadline again. I had to call him every day and ask him when they r going to show up and work, and was very hard to get a hold of him. And many times he told me that they were coming to work and they didn t showed up. At this time we were pretty upset but I try to keep my kool and work with Mr. Acosta. August, September, October came by and still the project wasn t finished yet. Like I mentioned before I have to call him when they coming to work and finish this project. At the beginning of November, 10 months after he started working on the project, he informed me that he wasn t going to do the bathroom addition. He said that was going to finish the landscaping and that was it. We started in negotiations because I already paid him like 95% of the cost of the project. After very firing negotiations we agreed to finish the contract and he reimbursed me the money for the bathroom, which I wasn t not enough , so I took the lost of about 10,000.00 dollars. Mr Acosta did a good job of what he finished in ten months , (not a excellent job) but it was ok work. My main beef with him it was the long time it took to do things, and the lies. Many other problems arises during those ten months , but I will keep it to myself. I would never recommend SP&LC landscaping to nobody.
SP&LC recently removed three trees from my yard. One was particularly large. I contacted the manager, Mr. Acosta, who promptly visited my home and provided with a written estimate. In just a few hours later, a crew of workmen arrived and started the job. Because of the size of the job, they returned the next morning. By the afternoon, they completed removing the trees and cleaning up my yard. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. I am so glad that I called SP&LC! I recommend them highly.

The irrigation system had a leak. Mr. Acosta was very attentive. He assessed the problem and sent his team to correct. The technicians knew exactly what to do and made the necessary repairs. It s very refreshing to find a contractor that will take care of the problem in a prompt and professional manner and follow up to ensure everything is working properly. I recommend this firm for your landscaping job.

SP & LC Landscape Contractors just completed landscaping my back yard. It turned out fantastic. They will also be doing my entire yard maintenance work for a year. The quality of workmanship, professionalism, customer satisfaction, efficiency were all 5 out of 5. I would recommend SP & LC Landscape Contractors to all my family and friends. Jesus Acosta did a marvelous job and he and all his workmen were friendly, hard working, and professional.
Mr. Acosta and his team did nice work installing sprinklers and new grass. The end result looks great and they cleaned up some weeds and removed some old tree branches I had cut as well. He kept me updated on the progress throughout the work and followed up afterwards to adjust the sprinkler settings, review the lawns growth and cut the lawn after some time had passed. Overall they provided thorough and professional service.

SPLC did a great job fixing my broken irrigation system. They were very responsive and easy to contact. Upon arrival at my house they gave me multiple options for dealing with my issues, answering all my questions. After agreeing on a service, the workers arrived the same day and did a very professional job. Later, the owner walked me through the work and stayed as they tested the system. I would absolutely use them again for other irrigation issues.
Wow, I cant say enough great things about Mr. Jesus Acosta. Even though they were booked for the summer, he was able to help me with my sprinkler remote control via facetime! Their patience, care and customer service is nothing short of outstanding! I would highly recommend Mr. Acosta and SP & LC Landscape!!

My fiancée and I had a drainage problem in our backyard and called this company. They came the same day and gave us a reasonable estimate to install a French drain and do some cosmetic improvements in our back yard. We ended up asking them to do a whole lot more. They made everything beautiful, were very reasonable, timely, and professional. Highly recommended.
