Service was performed Feb 23 2024 for an HOA parkway project in Los Angeles. It was turf removal and rototilling the parkway to prep it for planting and mulching. Pricing: not transparent. The bid estimate calculator the business has on their website is misleading. It asks the customer to enter on their measurements which is likely going to be off since the customer doesn’t know how to do it correctly. No onsite estimates are performed so it is very likely that the charge will be significantly once they arrive on site and measure the parcel. Our final invoice was 100s of dollars more than the estimate calculator. I think this is part of a bait and charge more later approach. Quality: workers were OK, hardworking. But they left the parkway with about 1.5 feet high of dirt and compost which our regular landscaping team had to shovel out as extra work before we could place the plants and mulch. There was still quite a bit of turf, rocks , sticks and debris left over in the dirt that was not removed as it should have been. Professionalism: lacking from the owner 100%. We are a HOA and told him upfront payment would be sent by check by our management company within 7-10 business days after invoice is processed by accounting. When he asked for payment upon completion of services the same day and I reminded operator of how we work, they went from fake pleasantries to outright rudeness and pushiness via email to our HOA management staff. We do not plan to use this vendor again or recommend him. And the condescending know-it-all attitude is extra. Rudeness and sounding like you’re an expert doesn’t make it true. Our regular landscaping team was very unhappy with how the parkway was rototilled and left with still so much rocks and debris and overfilled with compost soil making their time in removal of debris , planting and mulching longer. They weren’t happy with their job either. This business has several different profiles on Google and seems to be on top of their reviews - reporting any critical reviews and flagging them for removal.

I called the businesses, seems like it’s the owner but I called asking about a sprinkler. First of all, the guy was very rude and seemed sluggish as if he didn’t want to work or fix the problem. I asked for a quote and he was not amused I will not be calling or having any money given to them to work! Very unprofessional I went somewhere else don’t go here !

Mike is very helpful , he didn’t install any new grass at my home I myself did a diy , but needed PROFESSIONAL advice and he was very generous to give me some pointers as a beginner. I would highly recommend him based on his professionalism and service to people. 🫡

Mike did an amazing job of upgrading my sprinkler system last fall. Then last week, I messed up and ran over a sprinkler head with my lawnmower. Instead of changing me a bunch of money to come out and fix it, Mike explained what I would need to easily fix it myself. He even sent my links to the inexpensive tool and part I would require. THAT is service. I was happy before, but now I'm devoted! Thanks, Mike!

Called RototillerGuy because my sprinklers stopped turning on as scheduled. Mike talked me through troubleshooting on the phone, and within 20 min. we discovered the problem. Turns out the wiring was corroded, but I would not have thought to check it until Mike pointed it out. Easy fix, and best of all, he didn't charge me for the expertise. Great experience. I definitely recommend him.

Very good experience with Mike, I got sprinkler system problem, because the solenoid doesn’t work properly, Mike is very nice to explain why and help me fix the problem, strongly recommend to anyone has problem with sprinkler system. You will happy working business with Mike.

I called Mike this morning on a Sunday and told him I was having trouble with my sprinklers. He told me what he charges to come out but said before you spend the money let's try to troubleshoot over the phone free of charge. I sent him pictures of the sprinkler system I have and we went through a few items before we isolated the problem and resolved it. It was a simple fix (I had the valve shutoff lol). Mike could have easily come out and charged me his minimum fee to simply turn a lever but he didn't. He was honest and kind. I will definitely call him when I am ready to install sprinklers in my backyard. Thank you for being honest and taking the time from your day to help me, especially on a Sunday.

Mike is terrific. And honest! I just called to get a quote to fix 2 leaky sprinkler heads. Rather than taking advantage of the situation and coming out to fix the sprinkler lines, he advised me about how to change the valves, including a text with images about what to buy at the hardware store to do the repair on my own. In the end, the job cost $78 bucks at the expense of him doing a repair for $395. Will be contact him for larger jobs when the time comes!
