Bill & the LDS team are the best! We approached Bill with a general idea of what we'd like in our yard after installing a new inground pool and he transformed our backyard beautifully -- everything from new sod installation to pavers and landscaping/mulch along our fence, plus an irrigation system. LDS are professional, courteous, fair and absolute pros. Bill went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the final result and was excellent at communicating with us along the way. He had a ton of great ideas and an eye for what would work best in our space. We'll recommend Bill + his team at LDS for anyone looking and will continue to use them in the future.

I recently hired Landscape Design Strategies to do some yard work at my home and I was extremely impressed with the results. The team was professional, efficient, and did a fantastic job of transforming my yard. They removed stumps, hedges and trees, and cleaned up all the debris, leaving my yard looking neat and well-maintained. I was impressed with their attention to detail and their commitment to customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company for anyone in need of yard work services. They are the BEST!!!
LDS and Bill are fantastic to partner with to do any landscape/patio job. They installed multiple patios at my former and current home. The patio installed at my old house (pic attached) was a major selling point to potential buyers. Bill is super easy to work with and he’s an excellent communicator. Their estimates are right on target and are flexible with any changes you may want to make as the work is being completed. Bill will also present ideas and solutions to make sure you understand all options. If you want to work with true professionals, go with LDS. You will be thrilled with the outcome!!
The LDS team has been taking care of our property for years. They do weekly maintenance and all the weed control and fertilizing. They have done multiple installation projects- complete front yard scape, new walkway, front porch and stairs. Side yard plantings. A paver / sod project. Fire pit with seating wall. I wouldn’t consider working with anyone else. If we ever had a problem- Bill, Tim, and their crews addressed it immediately. I would highly recommend them for your property needs.
Disappointed with the experience and quality. Initially we were excited as they did quite a bit of work for our new home. After about a year we noticed some of our patio stones were sinking in areas and dismissed it as settling. Just before our second year since the work was completed, we noticed it got significantly worse and began to hold pools of water. Our top ledge on the stairs also began to pitch back towards the house drawing rain water towards the home. I reached out to Bill to see what could be done. At first he did not respond, but after emailing him again he blamed it on the builder. Settling is expected but not to the point where we have pools of water for days throughout our patio. Bill should have offered a solution as the pavers can be raised and he should have backed his work. He never even came out to look. Response to owner: That is very misleading and not true Bill. I uploaded a photo of my invoices which you signed after receiving the final payment to conclude each project (all marked Paid In Full), along with different renderings you provided which all include a fire pit... I reached out to you directly so you would have the opportunity to repair the work. My review was not intended as a “motivation” but a review of my experience working with you. I'm allowed to leave a review, you shouldn't feel threatened or that I'm motivating you. My review was strictly on my experience working with your company but your response reflects your dishonest character.
We love the Bill and his team put the work for us. They built the patio paver, front walkway paver and seeds for us. The house looks much nicer now. I will highly recommend anyone who wants to do landscaping work for both residential and commercial. The team is on time, hard work and detail oriented. And Bill is very easy to communicate as well as the team lead Luis.
Great job. They removed all the old bushes & growth and cleaned it all up. Then they strategically put new plants in that look perfect and mulched the whole area.
I recently had LDS do some front yard hardscape and backyard landscape and I cant recommend them enough. Bill had great suggestions and the work was impeccable. I was worried about getting my front and backyard redone before my daughters birthday party, but they promised me they would get it done and they came through and knocked it out of the park. I will absolutely be a returning customer for future projects.
I recently hired Landscape Design Strategies to clean up and make several upgrades to our front and back yards. This involved several of their services; such as pruning various plants, planting a tree, installing aluminum edging along our gardens and putting down fresh mulch, removal of unwanted gravel and a deteriorating stone structure, restoring and sealing a stone patio and walkway, and leveling a portion of our yard where they installed a concrete foundation for a shed. Given the scope of work, I wanted to have a pretty detailed breakdown in the estimate, which they patiently worked through with me. They were upfront about options that could potentially increase the cost, and we only ended up deviating slightly from the estimate because of some optional adjustments we decided to move forward with. In my case, we primarily discussed the project over email. Based on my experience in the busy summer season, its fair to say that they generally didnt initiate discussion to confirm things like timing or payments after the initial estimate, but did respond promptly if I reached out. I recommend communicating proactively if youre unsure about details of your project. As for the work itself, it took place over a few days. The workers usually arrived early at around ~8 A.M. and worked to around ~5 P.M. I appreciated that they took some precautionary measures to avoid damaging our plants while working on removing, cleaning, and installing stonework nearby. The finished work is clearly done by professionals and looks great I would highly recommend Landscape Design Strategies if you have a similar project in mind.
LDS has been working at our home in Middletown, NJ for 6 years doing varies jobs. It started with a natural stone walkway, to lawn care and most recently redoing our front landscaping. We are very happy with each job and continue to use LDS for our lawn care and couldnt be happier with the results.
So grateful to have found LDS! They have been doing outstanding work for us in multiple areas over the last 6 years. The aesthetic of the natural stone walkway LDS installed enhances the beauty of our back deck area; blending functionality with nature. We also could not be more thrilled with the recent landscaping done in front of our house, driveway area, as well as a beautiful fire pit project.Lastly, their ongoing lawn care keeps our grass a gorgeous emerald green. We have always been pleased with all aspects of LDS s work, which is why we ve consistently used them over the past 6 years - and will continue to do so!

The company was referred to me by a friend, which I mentioned to Bill on the phone. Bill came out to the property and was really nice and professional at initial meeting, as well as on the phone prior. Was told Id receive the estimate in a few days. Ok great. A few days went by, and No estimate. I reached out to follow up. Bill said Id receive the estimate by Monday (an entire week after he came out to the property). Monday came and went and still no estimate. Never received the estimate at all. Strange.
We recently hired LDS for a landscaping job at our large family cemetery plot, which was in terrible condition and needed a total make-over that would be low maintenance, drought resistant, and visually appealing. I thought I had communicated enough details, and Bill thought he understood the design. I live out of state so there was little opportunity for in-person contact. When the work was done, we realized there had been miscommunication between us, and the last 10% of the job needed redoing. Bill and his incredible crew from LDS solved the problem in a respectful and timely way, and performed the work as we wanted. I am happy to say when things went wrong, LDS made sure my family was happy. They did an excellent job! Thank you!

We used LDS to install a paving stone patio in our back yard replacing an existing deck and concrete walkway around our pool. We also had a fire pit installed. Our experience was absolutely top notch. Bill and his crew were great to work with. We are extremely happy with the outcome. The crew was exceptional. They had tremendous attention to detail not just installing the pavers but ensuring that they looked great. At the end of each day they would not just pick up tools and leave. They would additionally use blowers and a hose to wash down the area to remove the dirt and dust. All-in-all we had a truly 5 star experience with LDS. We highly recommend them.

LDS did such an incredible job cleaning up my dilapidated property. Years of neglect was no match for Bill and his team of professionals. They were so prompt, thorough and didnt leave a trace they were there other than beautiful, clean yards I had no idea were so spacious. They took great care of and tended to every single section. From weeding and mulching to the removal of two trees and more English Ivy than you can shake a stick at, I couldnt be happier with the results and I look forward to using LDS again for future projects. Finding a quality company run by confident, competent and honest people can be a daunting and intimidating task. Im very lucky I found Bill and his staff. Thank you so much for a fresh start!
I have used LDS several times for various landscaping projects. Bill and his crew have always done an excellent job. They do great landscape design and excellent tree and shrub selection. They are always on time and do very nice and neat work, whether theyre planting, pruning, fertilizing or mulching. I highly recommend LDS!

I just finished a job using LDS, and cant say enough about both the process and the outcome. This wasnt a small project, and involved plants, irrigation, lighting, sod, mulch and design work. Bill and his crew started early and worked late every day. They were communicative, creative, clean and dependable.
