A little bit of a wait, however the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, so worth the wait. They took care of me and my needs with my new chainsaw, even filled it with chain oil and fuel for my first use at no charge and explained how it worked and went over the warrenty with me. **Original Review for Eau Claire Lawn Equipment** I had an issue with my lawn mower where the blades wouldnt turn off when the button was pushed. Restarting the mower turned the blades off until you turned them on again, making it a safety issue rather than a major malfunction. I called Eau Claire Lawn Equipment and explained the situation. They advised me to bring the mower in for service. I emphasized that I couldnt go a long time without a mower and was assured it could be fixed quickly. I dropped off the mower on Thursday evening, and they said it would probably be ready by Monday. Monday came and went without a call. On Tuesday, I called them and was informed that parts had to be ordered, which would arrive by Thursday. Thursday passed with no update. On Friday, I called again and was told the parts had arrived, but their mechanic was off for the day. They expected the mower to be ready by the following Tuesday, making it almost 12 days in total. Needless to say, Im not happy with this experience. If they dont have parts in stock, they shouldnt make promises they cant keep. **Update After Speaking with the Owner** When I picked up the machine, the owner said my review was unfair because the parts were on backorder, which he couldnt control. However, this was never mentioned to me. I never received a call from them for any updates; I always had to call them myself. He also said the mowers safety issue meant he couldnt let me have it back sooner. The owner mentioned that the mechanic doesnt have time to call and update customers and said I was being unreasonable. He said I was lucky they got the part as fast as they did since some Husqvarna customers are waiting months for parts. Additionally, the owner said they tell people to expect repairs to take at least a week or two, which was not communicated to me when I originally called. There seems to be a disconnect between the owner and the front desk employees. When I first called, the front desk suggested it might be a switch issue and that I could stop by to get the switch. After I described the issue in more detail, they recommended I bring the mower in for service. They said I could return the switch if it didnt solve the problem. However, the owner said electrical parts are not returnable, which contradicts what I was told. On a positive note the machine was done one day earlier than expected, although still 11 days and they got Toro to cover the cost of one of the parts under warranty, even though the warranty had technically expired. While I understand the safety concerns and parts availability, the lack of communication and transparency throughout the process was very frustrating. I tried to delay getting the issue fixed by mentioning I would rather not bring it in for service until a later date when my lawn doesnt need constant mowing. The only reason I agreed to bring it in was because they assured me they could get it fixed right away. As a lawn equipment company, they should understand their customers needs. I did tell the owner I would update my review, and when I say something will be done, I follow through.

Sales was very knowledgable of the rechargeable trimmers. Pros and cons of each. I ended up buying a different one than I intended because of performance and it was on sale. Used it twice only for easy trimming but very happy with it. More than enough power for light duty trimming around trees, home and flowers. Trim guide on front is helpful to know your line trim distance.

Im a 70 year old retired grump. My relatively new zero turn stopped running. It was sitting in my driveway with no way for me to move it. I called and the gentelman said hed have someone out tomorrow. He then said wait, its going to rain tonight. Ill get someone out yet today. Good service today is rare but not here. Went in to get a 21 year old Stihl blower/vac fixed. The cost was about half the cost of a new blower. We talked about new options and it made good sense and cents to give up on the old one and purchase a new battery operated blower. I really appreciate their knowledge and expertise with the Stihl line and how well they explain features and operation. This isn t my first purchase from EC Lawn and I ll return as the need arises. Always a pleasure to deal with EC Lawn.

Eau Claire Lawn and Equipment is Very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about their products. My parents shopped here when I was younger and now as an adult I have bought all my lawn equipment from them. There is never a time that my questions go unanswered or the need for parts or new equipment. We also bring our snowblower and lawnmower to them to be tuned up and ready for the next season. It s hard to come by service such as this these days. I highly recommend this business for all your big or small lawn care needs. One suggestion: I feel a-lot of people do not know about Eau Claire and Lawn Equipment because there really isnt any signage showing were you are located . I refer many people and they all say I never knew this place existed .

Just got off the phone with an employee there named Lowell. Needed a part for an old Toro snow thrower and parts for an old Simplicity snow blower. They know what theyre doing here. Efficiently identified the parts needed and I was lucky enough they were in stock. Picking up tomorrow. I was on the phone with a different Simplicity authorized dealer for over 20 minutes and really was not confident at all I was even going to receive the correct part. Kudos to Eau Claire Lawn Equipment!

If not for part needing to be ordered my snowblower would have been ready the next day, even with waiting on the part it was ready in less than a week. Helped with getting it off and then back on my trailer. Prices were reasonable.

Its a great place to hide, when out on your runs. Kind of difficult to find, as there is only one way, in and out. More knowledge is available here, than many of the competator stores. It can take awhile, but if you pay in advance, they may order old parts for you. Overall good for parts, if they can somehow obtain them, but many parts for older equipment, they do tell me are obstelte, so we may have to find elsewhere. I would recommend this store ...

I purchased a new head for my line trimmer. The employee told me if it isn t right or didn t work to bring it back and he would exchange it. So I went home mounted it on my trimmer and tried it. It didn t work. It was completely differently than what I had so I took it back to exchange it for the right one. They said that they couldn t exchange because it is now used. How am I supposed to know if it s going to work or not if I don t try it out? At that point the employee began to insult me by saying I didn t know how to wind the line. Ive been winding line and using trimmers for over 30 years. Please don t waste your time or money at this establishment. Nobody deserves to be treated this way.

Nice place to order parts or have your lawn equipment worked on. Pricing is fair and not overly expensive for the area. They cant order parts for everything but the staff can point you in a good direction of what you can do. They are friendly down to earth people that are knowledgeable about many various brands of equipment. Highly recommend!

I have used all my patients with this place, I have tried to remain calm, but this company is pathetic. brought my mower in this winter for an intermittent issue with the recoil. I made sure that the service writer knew that it didnt happen all the time. I picked up the mower and they said they lubed it as it was all it needed... i thought that is odd, why does a string need lube?? oh well it worked... 3 times, till Memorial day weekend, it didnt any more. I called the following Tuesday as Monday was Memorial day. Called around 8 left a message as they were busy, got a call back around 10, figured out they would not come get my broke down mower, so i would just buy the part. I called and left another message once i got the information i needed off the mower for the part needed. that message was left at 12:15 at 3 i called back and Joe said the order went in, but they would order it tomorrow... I asked for my money back from when they serviced it the first time and they said oh we didnt spend ANY time on the recoil, not even 5 min said Joe. Avoid this place, they dont have time for you.

I brought in a string trimmer to be serviced, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly I did however have to wait for about 20 minutes in line. They fixed my trimmer ahead of schedule, but when I picked it up I had to wait even longer in line then when I dropped it off. The cost was a bit on the high side I felt but within my expectations. Would have given a 5 star if not for the long wait in line.

Always helpful. As a professional, its important to keep our equipment running. If something breaks down, they do what they can to get it fixed asap. And thats all we can ask for!

I have been a customer of Eau Claire Lawn for years now. I have always thought I have been treated fairly and efficiently. What I like best, is that you have your equipment picked up and dropped off for a small fee. It sure beats hooking up the trailer on a 10 degree day and carting it down there yourself. The last two times my family has tried to get parts from this business the person working just said go on the internet to get it and when my mother said she doesnt have a computer, the person working said, well i guess youre out of luck. And he wasnt even doing anything.

purchased brand new snow blower because the salesman did his job and sold me on Husqavarna. I used the snow blower that year and the next. I store it in the winter. start of the 3rd season i noticed oil dripping. Called them up said its a common problem with that model and typically Husky will cover it. Well i missed the warranty by 2 months of a problem that is well known. NO HELP stuck with 120 dollar bill. This year its dripping oil again. I called they said they only have a 90 day warranty on their work but i can bring it in again for another 120. DO NOT GO THERE! I have used this blower at the most in the 3 years 30 times and it leaks oil like a siv. just a joke.
