Not a lot of time spent spraying my yard from unloading equipment and actually fertilizing. Didn t cover my whole yard. Very disappointed. I ve been happy in the past. For whatever reason this year is not going well. They never showed up when scheduled. I had to call and find out why. Wasn t given a clear answer. I prepaid this year and had to call to schedule for a visit???

Not sure of weed control. But my back yard patio needs it.

They guarantee their work and after 48 hours will return and reapply at no charge. They are very respectful and do a thorough job. They answer any questions you may have. I am going to replace my current lawn care company, Green Oasis with TruGreen. Their respect and guarantee of their product is priceless.

I have an ant infestation in my yard. I called TruGreen and they told me their pest control service would spray my entire lawn and kill all of the ants. When they came out, they sprayed around my house and a tree and were gone within 3 mins. They did NOT spray my entire lawn. I called them and they sent the same tech back. I talked to him and he said, we do not have a service for the whole lawn...the sales guys will tell you anything. So, I called TruGreen back to solve this and waiting on hold for 15 mins before I finally had to go back to work. Do NOT hire these guys. You cant speak with anyone local and there is no recourse if youre not happy. All of the calls are clearly handled in another country and you cant ever speak with the same person twice. Just awful, awful service all around.

Pet Owners Be Warned! Our apartment complex has a contract with True Green. When True Green treats the grass they dont document or tell the property company when they are doing the treatment. Usually they have a lot of signs, but this last time they didnt put out any. We didnt know the grass was treated and our dog ingested some of what they put down and he got sick. True Green gave us the run around and did not help us figure out what our dog ingested so we could tell the vet. They said its probably not what we did instead of just finding out what product they put in our grass. They didnt have documentation of the product and told us to find the technician who did it because they dont have a system that tells them what they did. But when we would call the local store it would divert to the 1800 number. All I can say is that Im very disappointed in a company that potentially can poison a family pet and not try to help. So, pet owners be warned!

Good job! 10/19/2023 Maple applied the fertilizer for Winterizing today. She answered all my questions and did a good job with the application. The lawn continues to look good and improve.

Fire your call center and hire a actual receptionist! I googled leaf removal altoona and clicked into what I thought was a local search for property clean up. I had to give my zip code, name, phone, address and needs. Trugreen was who picked up. The company could not help me as I needed vacuum truck service and thats okay, but ever since I gave all my info to them to have them contact me, now I get 50+ spam emails, 20+ texts and MINIMUM 10 phone calls a day asking about servicing my lawn 3 days after I already had it taken care of. Getting calls at all hours of the day and night from overseas is frustrating. Fire your call center and hire human beings Re: I appreciate that but I gave my info 4 TIMES over the phone. Im certainly NOT emailing your reviews email. I simply called for a vacuum truck to remove a huge leaf pile, here we are 5 days later Im still getting calls (2 on monday) from call centers overseas asking about my lawn care needs. Which have already been handled.

Horrible customer service. Beware that they will automatically renew your service from one season to the next without your knowledge. I received no notification that this would be the case and they showed up to do an application that I never requested, after already contracting with a different company, without my knowledge and they stick you with the bill, whether you want the service or not. Very unprofessional.

I keep trying to like True Green. Lousy customer contact - cant find a person who actually knows my lawn. Totally non responsive - only interested in selling new services. On line manager couldnt find out what they had done to my lawn and was wrong which has now ruined all the new grass planting - Customer service (Cheryl?) - gave another wrong answer and promised to followup and hasnt responded for over a week. I give up. Im hiring a local company with real people that are responsive and know what they are doing. Corporate lawn care with robots from 100 miles away doesnt cut it. TruGreen has good marketing and bill collection - not much else! PS I tried to give this feedback directly to TrueGreen - the feedback box on the app didnt work. That says it all.

Was promised an evaluation and a first application two weeks ago. Nothing happened. Called. Was promised a day and a time period. Nothing happened. Called. Was told I would be called with explanation and new time. Nothing happened. Called again. Canceled entire program. Monday morning of this week, the applicator shows up. I told him to please roll up his hose and go away. Called your office (one of several phone numbers ?) to confirm cancelation. 6-3-2020 was charged $54.07 for first application. No application was performed. And whatever happened to the $29.95 special price for the first application. Still trying to make contact with someone to confirm cancelation and maybe get a refund. Be sure I will not be recommending TRUGreen to anyone else.

I tried TruGreen this year for the first time. My lawn looks worse now, than it did in the past. Moles moved into my yard since using their service, have weeds growing everywhere. Once they sprayed and my entire yard went brown for three weeks in August. Since then I still have a large dead area. They dont seem to have anyone local to call or email to come out and talk to you about your yard. Very frustrated! Not going to pay my last bill after the three week lawn kill.

Very unprofessional and confusing experience with this company. I called to schedule to have my sprinklers blown out for the end of season. I spoke with someone over the phone who quoted a price I agreed upon and in addition she discussed and sold me the option of a lawn treatment because there was a special deal on the price. The company ONLY scheduled the lawn treatment (adding on several more scheduled sessions for full price in the spring) and never arranged for my sprinkler service. Again, the sprinkler service was the reason I even called, so I didnt get the work done I needed, and I got talked into an added service I didnt really want. I called to follow up, with not much resolved- I was informed that someone will look into this and get back to me (I am hoping they record calls for quality purposes so they can explain to me what happened- because honestly, I am quite annoyed by this whole experience). I called and scheduled to have my sprinklers blown out with a different company (for a lower price).

It has been two weeks since first application of the season, grass is greening up nicely but i am seeing some broad leaf and dandelions starting to show. Waited this long to review so i could give accurate feed back. Hope next application takes care of the weeds and keeps grubs away.

Terrible experience, 7 applications in and lawn doesnt look any different than before TruGreen. They dont show up when they say they are. I originally hired them to take care of weeds and come to find out a few applications they didnt even spray for weeds. Also I got a notice that the specialist had completed my service, without ever showing up that day. Thats talent. Unfortunately a complete waste of money. I do not recommend.

We canceled all the services for the rest of the year. They came four times this year and nothing changed. Our new lawn now is full of weeds. Take my business somewhere else.

We hired Trugreen this year for mosquito service and for lawn service. The mosquito service we were frankly happy with, but the lawn service was terrible. After the second application (which they decided to do on one of our 97 degree days) our lawn turned yellow and brown. Of note, we have a sprinkler system that we run frequently, and none of our neighbors lawns got scorched by the heat. We called the listed number to complain and reached the central call center, who told us that they would put out a message to the local branch to look into it. The local branch came out and admitted that the lawn turned because it was hot when they sprayed and that it would come back with time. Weeks later, when the lawn was still yellow, we called to ask for a refund. Again, the only number listed is for the central call center. The central call center employee was rudely insistent that there were no refunds, and again referred us to our local branch that there is no actual contact information for. At this point we cancelled our services for the rest of the year. To summarize, they probably do a good job if they dont screw it up, but if you have an issue, the customer service side is awful. Buyer beware.

Good forewarning, on the phone ahead and at the door treatment day. Fast and efficient service, for my good looking grass. Be careful where you spray weed killers. Dont involve flowers.
