Lawn Control Center in Eastlake

Ive been a client of Lawn Control Centers for a few years now and have never been disappointed. Anytime I have an inquiry for an additional service, I receive help right away. They did a great job on my original yard. When I moved, my new yard was in really poor condition, and two years later, our neighbors comment on how we have the best grass on the street.

So far Lawn Control Center has done a great Job. I have not worked with them long but so far so good:)

The guys do a good job treating the lawn, wish they would treat closer to the edges of the gardens, the riding spreaders they use do not get close to the edge of the lawn so have lots of weeds along there

Our lawn is the envy of our neighbors... so green and thick. This past summers drought was hard on the lawn, but with the first rain the lawn perked right back up. I can always count on them to take care of our lawn.

I signed up with Lawn Control Center for the fertilization of my lawn for the entire year of 2025, a couple of months ago. One reason for signing up with them was their promotional offer to include aeration and seeding this fall(2024) without additional cost to me. I was pleasantly surprised by the easy sign-up process (within a few minutes). I created an account and within a very short period, I noticed on the web that they (Lawn Control Center folks) had scheduled the aeration & seeding service for my house. They did so without requiring any reminder from me even though they were providing the service without any additional cost to me. When the time to provide the aeration service came, they sent a reminder a day before and then completed the service on the scheduled day (a job well done!) without requiring any nagging from me. This to me is a certain indicator of their reliability and trust-worthiness. Based on what I have seen so far, they have also earned my respect for their professionalism. Ive had a good experience with the Lawn Control Center. Ive been informed on when service is to be done, when questions occurred, I was answered promptly. I feel I good quality service for the money.

I ve used this lawn care company for many years now and i have been approached by other companies some with a cheaper price but not the quality of service that I get. Not a better option out there.

We had service provided for our lawn to prepare it for winter. Soil plugs were drilled to aerate the soil and overseeding to fill in bare spots. Both services were performed well and to our satisfaction.

Lawn Control seems like a good idea for the money, except the drought this year turned it into a waste of money. Infact my yard looks worse than my neighbors that did not fertilize their yards.

I had more weeds this year, but they do a nice job.

So far the company has been pretty good. They show up when they say the will and do their job. If I had one complaint it would be that I feel they aerated my yard too early. The ground was still very very hard due to lack of rain and the plugs were maybe an inch or 2 which doesn t seem like much to break up and loosen the soil. Then overseeding while it is still a drought outside seemed counterproductive. Other than the aeration and overseeding this company has been really great, and it s not their fault that this summer had a major drought in my area. My backyard was completely fried. So hopefully the overseeding works.

With the hot, dry summer and a mole problem it was difficult to evaluate the lawn. The 1st few apps did kill the nutsedge and clover easily. It also took care of the rust. So, in all I think it was good.

You guys have always done a great job for me.

I would like the tech to focus on the thistle plants that grow close to my landscape beds. I have quite a few in my lawn.

I was suppose to start this lawn service with my lawn being aerated and was sent a text the day before not to have dogs out in the yard. That was ok but no time when they would be there. I know I did not have to be home but I have a watering system and I told them that and wanted to be there to talk to them, There should have been I time window to when they were coming. I called a 8 Am to see if I could get a time and they told me they could not. So I waited all day and called them at 3:45 to see what was going on and talked to Brad the guy the signed me up and said he would check and call me right back. I waited over 15 minutes and then I ended up calling him. He told me that he was just going to call me. Started telling me that he had no control and the guys did not have phones. Well if that was the case how did he call him to find out where he was. Next he said he cant control how long his guys talk to the customer. I said that I understood that but should have called to say he was running late. I just feel that I could not work with a company if they did not have control on what was going on. So I told him I did not think we could do business and he said ok real quick and did not care about my complaint and just said ok bye. I just hope this is not how they treat everyone. I hope people read this before going into business with them.

Tough season for lawns. Noticing some weeds. Have watered some but stillmore brown than green. Any advice or more treatment?

Great affordable lawn maintenance. I do wish they would give you a notice when they re coming so I can cut the lawn prior to application.

Overall, I am happy with the service. However, I am now seeing a lot of weeds in the front lawn. This is a concern.

The Lawn Control Center Technician set up a plan to fill in my grass and make it look better. He has made 2 applcations and I have already seen improvement. No one else has been able to help me. I highly recommend them.

Basically I am happy with my service. Its been so hot and dry I think my lawn is fearing very well. Just want to keep the border between the lawn next door on the driveway side neat as that lawn is not grass but yellow!

Very impressed from initial call for service to visiting service technicians. All interactions have been with courteous and professional individuals which inspires confidence.

I received a postcard with a personalized quoted price for a full season (6 application) of service. I called the number and asked to sign up and the representative asked about and verified the details on my quoted price. I verbally agreed and they said they would email me the contact in a few minutes. I then received communication stating they woud not honor the price and had increased it 20 percent, then gave me some garbage about it still being way less then other companies in the area. Classic bait and switch technique. Be aware and dont fall for this devious technique.

Ive used this company for five years. They come and do an application using this little tractor thing that they drive around on your lawn. Often they come and do the application on this tractor immediately after several days of rain, when the lawn is wet and muddy. This leaves muddy ruts in my lawn, to the point now that my entire lawn is bumpy and rutted. This spring was the last straw, however. After a week of nonstop rain, they came out the very next day. My lawn was a muddy swamp that I didnt even want to walk on, because I would have left footprints. The tech sped around at high speed on the little applicator tractor, tearing up my grass and leaving massive, muddy ruts and tracks all over the lawn. The muddy tracks are still visible today three weeks later even through two mowings, and the bare, muddy spots left behind where the tractor wheels tore out my grass as he sped around doing high-speed U-turns on my lawn will have to be completely re-seeded. I had a landscaping company come out and give me a $350 estimate to fix the damage done by the tech on the Lawn Control Center applicator tractor. When I contacted the company about this mess, and to cancel my account, they didnt even apologize, just said that they would cancel the account. In addition to this, in the five years since we have used this company, my lawn went from thick and lush, to having bare dead spots and tons of crabgrass and moss throughout. I would suggest going with a different company, particularly if your lawn gets soft after rain.

Unfortunately I ve had to cancel my Services with this company. I ve been using them for close to 2 years. They do come on time (mostly the next day once a call reminder is made- however it s not always the next day. Not a big deal. I cancelled due to my lawn looking worse than before. I have so many weeds in the yard. Even though what is promised is to control them and make my lawn look good. However there are hundreds of patches of these weeds in my front and back yard. See photos.

Michael did an amazing job on my lawn. I m a 87 year old man. I used to hand edge my lawn and fertilize it with the utmost care. Since Michael came along with there amazing support staff my lawn glows like a midsummers day in the Georgia sun.

I have been with the Lawn Control Center for at least five years and my yard looks good. We get calls before they come out for treatment so we can keep the pets in. If there are any issues, they treat them or let us know what needs to be done. No lawn is perfect, but they do their best to make sure it is. If there are any issues and you call, they take care of the lawn issue asap. I would definitely recommend.

Michael Brown has been a great asset for the fertilizer and weed control over the years. Last year army worm problem was diagnosed and solved promptly.

Hired this service for a year and pre-paid. The service was fine. Beware, they auto-renew the service if you dont call to cancel. In my case, this means that they put crabgrass preventer down in late March meaning I will not be able to over-seed this spring. This is frustrating.

My office faces the window so i watched as the technician pulled up, parked, walked around the sides and back of my house and completely neglected the front and most of my back yard. I called to have it re-done because of this. Five days later technician pulled up across the street, sat in the truck for 3 minutes then drove off without performing any service. I emailed the office and attached the video from from camera, cancelled the service and followed up with a phone call confirming my cancelation and that I would not be billed for service not completed. I was told I wouldnt be charged and was not offered any form of apology. Im still getting emails regarding payment reminder and called again with no response.

I wanted an estimate on getting my lawn treated as we have had issues growing grass in the back yard. I reached out to multiple companies to get quotes on treatment. The company emailed my in April trying to get me to sign up for their service package, I replied saying i only wanted an estimate, not their service. Two months later I return home from work to see a flag in my lawn showing it s been treated, and a bill left in the door. I won t be paying for the service and I caution anyone else who might be scammed into a service they didn t sign up for.

Dont use ...Poor Poor quality

I wanted to give a local business the business instead of a national company. So I switched from true green to this company. My yard has never had so many new weeds all over and now poison ivy in my front yard in the middle of the yard. I tried calling for months with no response. And the technician should have clearly seen there s major issues and didn t remedy the situation even though I was charged for each visit and no in between visits were performed. Were they really treating my yard? Or just dropping off the bill? If the yard was being treating then it wouldn t have been infested with weeds and poison ivy that I ve never seen in my yard before. I called for a refund and finally got a hold of someone and I was told they don t give refunds. I work in the legal field - I will be researching if the Consumer Sales Practice Act was violated and go from there. I will not be using their services next year.

I hired Lawn Control Center this year for my parents lawn and I could not be more pleased. The lawn was suffering because my parents could not take care of it consistently. The lawn has improved 100% since last year. Thank you.

Our account was purchased from another business owner who took pride in how he cared for our lawn. We never had an issue until these crooks took over. Lawn Control Center is unprofessional! Our lawn never looked worse until they started servicing. During their last visit they promised to come back after leaves were cleaned up from our yard. They also said they will seed our lawn since thats included in our contract. They simply disappeared! I will NEVER recommend their services. Dont waste your money!

Thank you for servicing my lawn 6/1/2021. Lots of weeds growing through however, weed control applied today. During this season of pandemic it has been unusually dry one moment and wet with rain the next. I would that a technician come out in two weeks to do an analysis on the treatment applied. Grab treatment was applied in early May however I received an offer from Lawn Control to do another ... What s the benefits of another treatment? Should I wait til early fall? Would love to hear your response.

The worst company I have ever encountered. After asking them to stop services 3 times they continued to come. Delayed us from planting grass, owner told us his company would plant the grass for us due to their mistake and never showed up to do it ( as this is now 5 months ago) or returned any phone calls. Continued to charge me, send me late payment notices when I was told I didn t have to pay as we had canceled them. And when they did come they did an awful job and would miss huge sections!!! They never answer the phone or return calls, customer service is awful and frankly the owner is a joke and a coward as he couldn t manage to ever call me back after multiple requests and over 5 months!DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

I would not recommend this company. My lawn has never looked worse - large brown patches and lots of crab grass that I never had before. Their customer service is also disappointing. They have an 888 number that calls my phone between 8 and 9 pm the evening before they are coming to do a treatment. On 2 occasions I had to contact them because I did not want to come that day. You cannot leave a message after hours, and must call back at 8am. On both occasions I called twice the following morning, and left a message when the call was not answered, and both times the treatment was placed on my lawn before I could stop them. Lastly, I was told that after 2 hours the treatment was safe for my puppy, but the yard sign they leave says to stay off the lawn.

Have used this company for over a year. You can NEVER get ahold of a person in the office. They rarely return calls. Go ahead and try to call, guaranteed you will have to leave a message they will maybe return it. Spoke to the specialist on my lawn at least four different occasions to voice my concerns about the weeds or putting grass seed down. Every time I get told they will come back with a different mixture to take care of the problems. They never do. Or they say they will mark the account for next time. Spoke to both specialist and finally after multiple calls someone finally called back from the office. I put in a request for grass seed to be laid down and they assured me itI would ask the specialist each time. Awful company, not worth it. s part of what they do. They NEVER did it.

Crabgrass Control: So far it looks good. I am waiting to see what it looks like in a week or so. I have weeds growing at many places at least a couple of dozen places. Probably weed control was not included in this trip. Over all GOOD. In spite of further application, crabgrass is the same, weeds are the same too. I am not happy.

We have used Lawn Control Center for years and they are very quick to respond if you have any issues or questions!

This place used to be a great company. But they have hired some new people that are just careless. And the owner is a complete joke! Their new tech actually got up into out raised flowerbed, and sprayed the whole flower garden. Killed everything in there. I would not have believed that it happened until I looked at our doorbell camera and saw him step up into the flower bed, and spray everything in there. Sad thing is that this happened on multiple occasions! They did waive a couple treatment bills, but the owner was supposed to call my wife to make things right, and never has. We lost hundreds of dollars in flowers, and many years of labor, and they seem not to give a care in the world about that? We are still considering taking this company to court to recover the cost of replacement flowers, not sure how that may go?

I have had the service for a number of years and have been very satisfied with the service. My lawn has really perked up! Michael Hackney has been my technician and has done a great job of caring for my lawn. Thank you! I also appreciate the pest control service that they provide.
