Paul, Mike, and the Swimm team did a phenomenal job clearing my backyard of overgrown landscaping, deteriorated pavers, and old boulders. The backyard has been transformed, and it was done in only 1.5 days. Communication was excellent and I did not have to be home for the work to be done. Would recommend to those looking to transform their outdoor spaces.

We contracted with Paul and his landscape company to replace our front walkway, to add a stone deck to our yard including a built-in gas firepit, and to optimize the drainage for the downspouts of our gutters. The worst experience we have ever had. Every single aspect of the project was horribly wrong. Every fix for all the problems was also horribly wrong. The work was terrible. There are shards of glass in the topsoil which we have to find to protect the dog. The reseeding of damaged areas is sporadic and sparse. The new walkway is tipped toward the house and now the basement is flooded. The planting beds are horrible with debris buried under the fabric-which we discovered as we are trying to make them look better. We discovered, after the fact, the workers had dumped debris on a neighbors property - which we now have to clean up. The owner was insistent on getting a check immediately probably so we wouldnt keep complaining. We have resigned ourselves to fix all the problems ourselves and are spending a lot of money to try to make this look nicer. If we wanted it to look like a bunch of drunk amateurs did it, we could have saved the money. Cuz, it certainly looks like a bunch of drunk amateurs did it.

Pauls team transformed our backyard from nothing but weeds, rocks, and dirt into a terrific green space for the kids and dog to happily play. Were thrilled with the new look of our backyard.

Paul Swimm landscaping recently completed two hardscape projects at our house. The first project was the installation of a fire pit/patio area. Throughout the installation process, the team were courteous, kind, and extremely skilled at what they do. The entire build took around a week, and the area was cleaned up and grass was planted immediately after completion. The space is so, so beautiful and we couldnt be happier with the results. The second project, the installation of a koi pond, was an inherently more difficult process. Following completion of the pond, which was dug, lined, and installed within 1 week, it turned out the liner had a leak. Paul and his team immediately got to work, sending out experts from local pond shops to locate the leaks and patch them. However, during each rebuild process, the liner unfortunately leaked again. Paul never gave up, eventually tearing out the entire project and rebuilding it from scratch with a thicker liner and additional sand/padding to ensure it would never leak again. I am extremely grateful to Paul and his team for their perseverance and great attitude, even in the face of potential failure. We look forward to having this team out again for any future project we decide to execute, and youd be hard pressed to find a nicer, harder working, or more dedicated individual. I can t say enough great things about the work they did for us. We called so many people and contractors to do my stairs that were falling apart. Several companies claimed they would do it and none showed up, some completely stopped communication with me. After 7 attempts with other companies swimm told us they would do it. They showed up and did an amazing job! They were there on time every day, friendly workers, and took a total of 3 days (even when it was 95 degrees) to complete and it looked beautiful and now have stairs to my house which is safe now. Swimm Landscaping aces a BIG job! My wife and I have been scratching and clawing to get people to respond to us in order to quote a very big outdoor hardscape/landscape job on a cliffside at the lake. Over the last year, we have discussed this job with no less than 10 different hardscaping companies. We were finally able to get 2 full written quotes and 1 partial quote for the job that we needed done. After much serious consideration and discussions with contractors that threw out some ridiculously high quotes, we decided to go with Paul Swimm and crew. Not only because his price seemed fair for the job, but because, while most could care less about customer service, Paul Swimm was very responsive. If he didnt immediately answer his phone, he would always call back within the hour. He is patient, fair, thorough and respectful. Our job was so big, other quotes were not only sky-high, but they wouldnt do the job without directing my wife and I to research feedback from a landscape architect. Paul Swimm did all the research himself & didnt require us to do anything but work directly with him. There hasnt been a moment that we have regret working with Paul, not only was he fair in his price, he kept nearly exact to his original quote, so there was no arguing as the job was near end. We added a few things as we went along, it was not a quick/cheap job, but his pricing always seemed to make sense for the work. I cannot say enough about the crew that works with Paul. Every one of his team, from the heavy equipment operators, to the guys that installed the pavers, to the laborers were extremely respectful, friendly, approachable and always in a good mood! Paul Swimm and his team recently completed a remodel of my walkway pavers. From the initial outreach through time of completion everything was first-class. I had reached out to several other landscaping companies in the area for quotes and was disappointed with both the transparency in pricing and lag in providing timely estimates of work, most of which I waited weeks. This was not case with Swimm landscaping. Paul was eager to get the project started and called me back within hours of initial outreach and also showed up later that same day for consultation. During this first at-home visit he provided me with a drawing design and estimate based on agreed scope of work. We have been working for years to find a place that we were comfortable with and would provide us feedback on our pool and revamping and replacing pavers. Paul gave a good quote, showed up when he said he would, stayed within his quote and the workmanship was superior. I had a long, curved rock wall of old stone that was starting to slide down. His workers were quick yet when it was finished looked beautiful due to the skilled eye of the foreman in charge. I liked it so much I asked him to do another job for me.

We had an emergency situation with a crumbling retaining wall in the middle of winter, and a house that had to go on the market in February. Three days later our retaining wall was replaced and the work was done. His crew was friendly and professional and super hardworking. A life-saver! I found a massive sinkhole in my backyard. They came the same day I called and filled it... in the rain.... in the evening. Even fixed a buried wire Id severed digging out the opening (for free). They worked hard and went the extra mile. I highly recommend Swimm!

If it wasnt for the storm rolling in, our project would have been completed in just one day. I met Paul Swimm at the Home and Garden Show when he was kind enough to let me rest at his display table. I called him to do yard work as I am now a widow and cannot do everything outdoors that I used to (old age can be a _____ (you fill in the word)! I have the most trees of everyone on my street and because of our early winter was unable to get them to the curb. I called Paul and told him I not only wanted the leaves raked but also my gutters cleaned out. As we walked around the house, Paul pointed out other things that should be done: parging the foundation, fixing part of the foundation and fixing a section where the siding had come loose. He is meticulous and has very good help - including his father. He and I talked a lot about history, as his father is enthusiastic about it and I taught A. P. U. S. History. He was a delight. The work was done within a week and I am very happy with what was done. I highly recommend Swimm Landscaping to anyone looking for such work to be done.

Fast service - came right away for an estimate, cleaned up the worksite and started prep work the next day. Was at the job just a few days later and done the day after that. Neat, clean job that fits the house, cleaned up neatly, even brought me some topsoil for a planter. Highly recommend.

Called Paul for an estimate and he said he d take a look at our yard the next day because he was working in the clay area. I never got a call or text the next day and I ve reached out a couple times with no response. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion and I wouldn t trust someone to do a project for you if they can t even return an estimate.

Very happy with the outcome of our front steps and walkway. Before Paul took on the job, the landing was in total disrepair and crumbling. The previous pavers were dislodging and the other quotes we got were outside of our price range. When I called him, he responded quickly and provided a more reasonable estimate. We had a considerable amount block work done this spring. Entry way, garden wall around the front and side of the house, and 14 x 24 block patio on the back. We had a couple of hitches but Paul addressed them quickly. Ive tried sourcing other local suppliers to no avail. He cares about his work and his companies reputation. I first met Paul in April when I contacted him for an estimate to replace my walkways. He said if I could be patient, as he was booked up until early July, he would take the job and I would be happy with the result. Well, I was patient and happy is an understatement. Paul scheduled the job for last week. It was raining pretty hard and one of his crew called out. Instead of rescheduling, he grabbed his father and the two of them created an absolutely beautiful walkway. Paul said it took him 3 tries before he was happy with how the walkway was laid out and a good share of the work was done that day. His crew was back the next day to finish the job. Everything came out perfect and I couldnt be happier with the results. I had a disconnected downspout that caused soil erosion around my foundation and underneath the stones of my front patio. The Swimm crew came out and fixed the downspout, dug a new drain that routes underneath the patio, completed the job within 90 minutes, and it looks FANTASTIC. Very communicative throughout, especially when they noticed that some blocks of the foundation had rotted away, and they fixed that, too. Very efficient and very affordable. Will be calling them back for additional work. Extremely pleased.

Had an issue with a small sinkhole near basement wall. Paul was very quick to get back with me and work out a plan to do the repairs which also included repairing a paved walk. He came by that night to take a look and give me an estimate. Him and his crew did a wonderful job compacting the area, filling with dirt and replacing the pavers. Has a retaining wall at the end of my driveway that was partially collapsed as it was originally didn t build correctly. Paul and his team showed up in a short notice and rebuild the wall and installed drainage system. The quality of work and communication are really superb.

Paul and his crew Robert and Joey made my pool disappear and turned it into a yard!!!! I am over the moon with how big my yard is now.... Robert is a master bobcat operator!!!! He moved concrete so fast and he was so careful working in some really tight spots!!! The topsoil that Paul sent was beautiful, even my neighbor mentioned how nice the soil was!! Paul and his crew did a fantastic job replacing our retaining wall. We had an old smaller concrete block wall that was falling apart due to age. Paul came out and gave us a fair price for larger locking block replacement. The guys came out and basically worked from sun up until sun down and got the job done (AND DONE RIGHT). I called Paul last spring along four other landscapers. He was the only one to respond. He immediately called back, scheduled an appointment that night and gave me an awesome price on re-stacking my natural retaining wall along my driveway. His crew showed up, turned up the classic rock and BAM! a beautiful wall, perfectly stacked appeared on the side of my driveway. They explained, in detail, how the drain tile and #2 stone worked.
